I read your comment on that one post about voting in the primary vs general elections, and you mentioned to ask if someone needed help, so here goes

My id is in a different state than I live in because at the moment I don't have the money to get it changed, but I also won't be able to go back to the state it's registered in to vote. Will that cause problems with registering and voting?

That will almost certainly depend on what state you are voting in.

As an example, in my state, Illinois, you do not need any form of ID to vote by mail or to go to your local precinct if you're already registered. Many states do not require any reason to vote by mail, so if you can do that and get a ballot that way you can save yourself the stress!

But I know in other states you are required to show at least 1 form of ID -- and again the states vary on what counts as ID. As long as your ID is not expired, you should be fine, especially if your previous state uses RealID. And plenty of places let you use things for ID you wouldn't expect -- like a power or gas bill with your correct address on it, or a library card for your city.

If you're comfortable with it, please share the state you are voting in and I can pull up the requirements for you!

Ok, so I actually bumped into this ship by chance, and very recently, so I'm still exploring it! I watched all their intro dialogues from MK11 and saw a bunch of cool fanarts from them, and so far, I'm intrigued!

Skarlet is quite the character that I would have under my wing. She is very interesting and has a lot of potential! I definitely want to add her to my AUs!

Regarding Erron. He seems to have some sort of code. I remember him not wanting to harm Cassie and Jacquie and actually trying to keep them safe from Kano. He also seems to be quite loyal, too.

I feel like he would sympathise with Skarlet and maybe even warn her of the danger she puts herself in by trust Shao Kahn. Maybe he would even encourage her to become her own boss, like he did, heh, perhaps he could even invite her to become a bounty hunter with him!

I believe their relationship would NOT have the best start, but that's because Skarlet would fear leaving Shao Kahn + brainwash would probably make her think Erron is tricking her!

But eventually, she would warm up to him and realide she quite enjoys finally being loyal to someone who's loyal to her in return!

my grandma died. i'm fine, i don't actually care for deeply personal and abuse-related reasons, but now im stuck having to wade into some legal fuckery to make sure that i am well amd truly extricated from the family and won't be drug into the drama or otherwise contacted by the people who gave me all of my current mental health problems. i just wanna be left alone so i can fucking heal and quit having to deal with the PTSD reaction to getting mail from them while remembering one fucked up thing or another that makes me go 'oh wow that counts as sexual abuse, actually!' as i process everything.

im trying to distract myself by writing my ghostbusters fic, but we've also had two pets die within about a month of each other and also this new RealID bullfuckery means Russ doesn't have a valid license and to get one, we need a copy of his birth cert, which he needs valid id to get online so we have to actually GO to the county clerk just to *request* it, and ugh.
