So my 11 year old has been workin with momma today, draining our natural pool, catching all the fish and then cleaning the liner. My 14 year old has been working, putting a floor in with dad. Sometimes homeschooling has more to do with real life than with books. And we are ok with that. Our kids are well rounded, and very well trained in all facets of life. Gabriel is learning valuable lessons about marine science and teaching fellow world schoolers. He came up with the idea of preparing a presentation about the cool critters munching on the bottom of our hulls. We have been on the search to identify and learn more information about these fascinating organisms. Thank you to Zarbeco Microscopes, our marine biologist friend, Spanish museum resources and Wikipedia for helping us learn more about the fascinating things that exist right below us all the time. we helped build a Lenape Indian inspired wigwam in our farm nature class last week 🌾s w i p e ——> for more photos . . After learning about the invasive plant species #phragmite we cut down and cleared a bunch from a patch near the pond we went fishing to a couple of weeks before... . . Afterwards we went to another area of the farm to build our wigwam - while hearing about the Lenape people and way of living. . .
