Previously: The entirety of Hell shakes and splits open as twelve-foot-tall people radiating power and light storm in, all wielding weapons that, despite not being angelic weapons, are powerful enough to kill sinners.

They will find Persephone.

Meanwhile, Lucifer soon catches wind of these godly beings and goes to confront them. He sees Adam for the first time since the dawn of Eden and nearly has a heart attack. Adam. The First Man. He was back.

And he was PISSED

Adam spots the one he feels is in charge, pointing his scythe at him. "WHERE THE FUCK IS SHE?!"

Lucifer too stunned to speak for a moment just stares at Adam. Then he reels back.

"Wait...who?"

"PERSEPHONE! WHERE IS SHE?!"

"Oh dear gods, this place is a mess." A man with what looks like a war helmet says.

"I love war as much as the next person, but this seems...excessive..."

A man in black with a gold circlet looks disgusted. "Is THIS what they think my domain is?!" (Hades has always been salty about the miscommunication of the Underworld)

"I have much more class then this!"

"Please, focus you two." A woman with long blonde hair says. She carried a spear and looked wise beyond her years.

Adam just stalks up to Lucifer, radiating the feeling of a famine, a sweltering summer, wildfires started from his angry breath

He giveth mankind his bounty, he taketh is away just as fast

"WAIT! I don't know who this person is, but I can help you find her! Did her soul pass through here?"

This only made Adam angry. "A goddess doesn't die." His fury is controlled but Lucifer could tell that this...glowing new Adam wanted to pummel him.

"Yes. Besides, Earth needs her. Without her, Spring can't come." A man wearing a tunic said and...was he carrying a...lightning bolt? Interesting weapon choice.

Lucifer heard rumors of the Earth taking on sentient life of its own, but he didn't believe it. These were Primordials! They held just as much power as the Elders so long as they were on Earthly domain. They were literally gods.

And...Adam was one of them?

"Are you this realm's leader?" The female said, shifting the weight of her spear. "If what you say is true about you helping us, then you WILL provide."

Hades steps up. This may not be his realm, but he is STILL Lord of the Dead. "Speak, or I will have every soul here tear and burn this place to the ground before turning them up on you."

Lucifer shivered. He could tell that he wasn't lying. "Yes. I am their King. If Persephone is here and not a lost soul, I will help you find her and bring out of Hell."

Adam looked at the man. He seemed familiar but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. He supposed it didn't matter. If he didn't get Persephone back, then he was going to flood this place and then burn it into the ground. They didn't call him The Reaper for nothing.

"How about, while we search, I can offer you a place to stay? My daughter runs a hotel."

Charlie did not expect Dad to show up with the fucking Primordials

"Uh...welcome?"

Hades is beyond offended at the lack of structure in the afterlife. "Why the fuck isn't this place more organized?! So much chaos! Why aren't they on the reincarnation route?"

"Hu? Reincarnation?" Charlie asked confused.

"YES! If you're not an absolute beast of a human being, you reincarnate! Attain a good life three times and you get Eternal Paradise!"

Athena just shakes her head and gathers her brothers towards some open seats. A snap of her fingers makes them fit better so they can all sit down. They needed to know the layout of Hell. She knew strategies like the back of her hand.

"Now. You're the Princess of Hell?" Athena asked Charlie before a small one-eyed woman pointed a spear at her.

Athena tilted her head. "You will do well to lower your weapon child. Before I show you the power of a Goddess."

Ares laughs. "This one! I like her!" Taps Vaggie's spear, turning it gold and giving it a more wicked design. "This will draw more blood from your foes!"

Vaggie stumbles back and looks at her spear. Athena looked at her in the eyes and suddenly she saw her literal life flash before her eyes. This Goddess meant business....she shouldn't threaten someone this powerful. "You always did like the brave." Hades said.

"Brave or foolish?" Athena said with one more glance before turning to Charlie. "Well, are you the Princess or not?"

"I...I am. Uh, how can I help you?"

"My daughter, Persephone has gone missing. She was kidnapped and taken here." Adam said. "I can sense her here but I don't know where exactly....too many layers here."

Charlie's eyes widened. "Persephone... I've heard that name before."

"You should," Zeus said. "She's the Goddess of Spring. She's what brings that Earth beauty."

Some silence.

"....I thought Demeter was a woman."

Adam turned to what looked at what seemed to be a spider demon. "I've been depicted as such. I prefer the male form better." His form flickered and he turned into...well....a she. A well-endowed woman who looked regal and beautiful as she was angry. The form flickered and Adam was male again. "Demeter is one name I go by. Only my family calls me Adam."

Angel blinked. "So you're male leaning gender fluid. Cool."

Adam tilted his head. "If that helps you comprehend it better."

"No, that's Zeus, the God of Whores"

Zeus gasped at Ares.

"No, you're thinking of Apollo."

"What do you know of the layers here?" Adam asks.

Ares turns to Lucifer. "Anyway, shortsack, we didn't catch your name."

Adam glared at the interruption but looked to the King who was been...quite for some time.

Adam blinked. Something was digging at his memory. Something he wanted to forget...."The layers, Princess. What do you know of them?"

It's better to not dwell on the past.

Only, his family exchanged glances behind his back before they turned unreadable looks to the King of Hell. Adam might not remember chose not to but they remembered when Adam was young and innocent. Back when he would cry about how his two friends left him. Lucifer and Lilith. Two uncommon names that humans don't typically call their children.

Bad- son of Hecate. He’s decided his goal in life is to die and join Hades’ court as the new Grim Reaper. Because that’s a normal thought for a teenager to have

Roier- son of Hypnos. He’s just a little guy 🥺. Sometimes he purposefully gives people nightmares for the rest of their lives because he doesn’t like them but he’s just a little guy 🥺

Mike- son of Hephaestus. The gods are lowkey terrified of him after the Incident. Luckily, he’s only a teenager (for now)

Pac- son of Aphrodite. The Incident.

PARAMAY DAY 13 (CREATION)

*inhales* oh boy, here we go…

Claypso was created on January 12, 2018, the day/day after I had seen the movie “The Greatest Showman”. It Unlocked something in my brain because the MOMENT I got home I pulled up Pinterest & started looking for inspo to make a Cool New ~*Self Insert OC*~. I can't really remember my exact thought process (who knows wtf 14yo Luka was on) BUT I do know I specifically made Calypso to represent "me". I would then joke for the next 2ish years on how, despite this, I made Calypso a boy when I identified as a Cis Girl. Idk I just find that fact so funny now that I’m nonbinary. (In the same vein, I also made him confident/proud of his bisexuality when I still had no clue if I was bi or not. We love projecting onto our own ocs/paras <3).

Calypso is the parame I remember actively making, thinking, "this Character is me but runs a circus" (I had just seen The Greatest Showman so inspo was strong there lol). Which is funny, because if you look at Cali, then look at me, I don't think you'd think/realize that?? His personality is very much…the opposite of mine lol. I am not a super cool extrovert that has multiple friend groups and goes on odd adventures. I’m on tumblr participating in a month-long oc challenge. Clearly something went wrong /j.

Uh. I made him at a time when I was questioning if I was Bi or not (I mean i was a freshman/starting highschool. Do any of us know who we truly are then?) so I kinda projected that into him??? In all honesty I feel like he should fall somewhere on the aro spectrum as well, since I'm aro & that's important to me, but I want it to evolve naturally if it at all happens so I won't entertain the idea just yet.

Funny enough, homeboy has always been a homeboy. Er, what I mean by that is, even tho I made him based off of me/representing me, having him be a (cis) male was one of my first decisions for him. At the time I wasn't 100% sure why, maybe I was influenced by the movie, which had Hugh Jackman star/play as PT Barnum, both males. But uh *looks @ nonbinary flag* I think there's a reason why now. Also part of the reason he's so feminine / """girly""" I guess. Tbh I probably projected into him a lot more than I realize (coughdaddyissuescough) but he is my parame & started out as a paraself, so it's fair.

Oh wow I haven’t even gotten into the original version of his story yet. It’s honestly not that different from how it is now, with a few minor differences. Originally, he was just the circus’ ringleader and died trying to save Clairette from a lion attack. The time loop was because he was the son of Persephone and Morpheus (yes..the greek gods…they were a thing in this once) so I think Persephone allowed him to be a Poltergeist?? OH and Macbeth was his half brother which made their relationship kind of sad because Cali genuinely wanted a sibling relationship but Macbeth just wanted him dead (Macbeth is a Reaper and his job is to collect Souls Cali is literally a lost soul do u see the problem here).

The VR stuff was always canon (except for that brief period of time where I got insecure and it wasn’t and everything was just their normal life which made things less confusing but also there was literally no plot lmao). Idk what else to say uhm fun facts: 

His default playlist is a little over 8hrs long and is currently the longest playlist I have on Spotify (that I listen to. My instrumental playlist is a little longer but tbh I rarely touch it).

He used to have gold eyes. They were quickly changed to blue and got shifted into the turquoise they are now! In addition to that, his first design used to have him wearing an actual ringleader outfit. He also used to have black hair, then light purple, and finally the dark purple it is now. In total he’s been through roughly 7-8 redesigns.

Cali is combined with a previous character, Anthony Morningstar. Anthony was inspired by Pride!Roman (an AU of Roman Sanders from the webseries “Sanders Sides”) and is the reason Calypso is now a prince! I scrapped Anthony because I had no idea what to do with his character and felt like him & Cali were too similar to really justify them being different people.

The tarot cards that represent him are “The Magician” and “Page of Wands”.

“A Million Dreams” from The Greatest Showman is his theme song.

Immortal council au

Technoblade is the literally immortal vessel of the Blood God. He can't die in battle no matter what he does but he CAN die by "normal" means. "Chat" are former vessels giving him advice.

Phil is the Angel of Death. He's not Death himself but he is (or was) one of the reapers who fell in love with humanity and earth a little bit too much and decided to stay. The sky is his domain, keeping his charges safe from his master a little bit longer.

Death is watching patiently. Eventually, his reaper will return to him. It is inevitable, just like Death himself.

Tubbo and Tommy are semi-immortal demigods, similar to Castor and Pollux in Greek mythology. If one of them dies, the other will follow him into Death too. On the other hand, they always know where the other is/what he feels and they possess mild teleportation powers.

Sapnap is a fire spirit but everyone always thinks he's a blaze hybrid. When he gets injured, no blood shows, only little flames dancing on his skin. He's also obviously fireproof and can change as quickly as the fire between moods.

I can see George as some sort of spirit of the seasons (maybe fall?) which would explain why he always sleeps so much. It's in his nature to miss most of the year until he's needed and if he decides to stay for longer than he should, it takes massive amouts of energy.

Nobody is really sure who or what Dream is. He's not human, clearly, but the others also know he's something else. Sometimes, when you look at him quickly enough, you can see the shadows moving ominously and a light from his mask that should not be there. Nobody has ever seen his face.

(Dream is something else, that is true. Far older than the others know, he's just grateful he's found a place where he's accepted no matter what. And if he enjoys the slaughter similarly to Techno sometimes or seems to know what others are thinking like Tommy and Tubbo or he plays with the elements like Sapnap, nobody says anything.)

Eret is Herobrine. No more explanation, they are just straight up Herobrine.

Niki is something similar to Hestia, a goddess dedicated to family and hospitality. She likes to bake because those were the offerings humans used to leave for her.

Fundy's a trickster god, having chosen the form of a fox a long time ago.

Ranboo used to be a spirit too but something went wrong with his body. When someone summoned him and forced him into a (mostly) human body, his memories and powers got screwed up in the process. Only Dream knows who he used to be.

Puffy is a benevolent goddess who watches over the weak and provides for the ones with good intentions. She used to be a human knight, many many years ago and will still sometimes act like it.

Wilbur... Now Wilbur's very interesting. Gods aren't supposed to die, after all. But as the (former) patron saint of a city, he lost himself when his city got reduced to nothing after a bombing. He's still a deity now but his powers are a lot more volatile since thry no longer really have an "anchor" or a duty.

Karl watches over the timeline. He no longer remembers who he was before he took up his duty but he'll never forget the people dear to his heart, no matter how many timelines he'll have to wade through. His guardian powers give him mild time travel and time manipulation abilities (freezing/speeding up time, etc.)

Quackity is a bird spirit. Freedom is his domain and he will stand in the way of everyone who tries to oppose this. Similar to Philza, he has permanent wings on his back which symbolize his position.

Punz and Purpled are both spirits of war. They're not the God of war themselves, similar to Philza and death, but they've always been there when there's bloodshed to be had. That doesn't mean they enjoy it.

Ponk is an ancirnt trading and trickster god, similar to Hermes in Greek mythology. He can manipulate deals and money and if you give him an opportunity, you will lose, but if he likes you, you'll suddenly find yourself enjoying riches you've never heard before.

Sam is the patron of inventors, Bad doesn't even have to change as a demon, Skeppy is a nature spirit who somewhere alsong the way picked up an unshakeable love for diamonds and Ant is a cat spirit .

Demon/Angel Thing

Alright. Due to popular demand I’ll start with this one.  Also, straight up, I literally do refer to it as “the demon/angel thing” cause I don’t come up with titles until the end.  Also I started this entire thing when I was 14 years old. I’m 24. So this is my longest running world I guess. I have a lot of worlds I’ve made over the years. I will admit my dirty little secret here, but what jump started this for me was watching Black Butler for the first time as a kid. Got me interested in the whole demons and angels thing. That’s where the similarities end, though. 

Also, I will not be going really deep into the plot simply because Spoilers since I def wanna make something out of this.

The World

Basically, there are three interconnected realms; Earth, the Heavens and Hell. Also, the Heavens and Hell are not related to the afterlife. That’s a whole other can of worms here that ya’ll already got a bit of a taste of with my BNHA Reapers Au a while back. But yeah. They’re three interconnected realms. The Heavens was made by the God of Order and Hell the Goddess of Chaos. Earth was made by the missing Goddess of Life. Angels are being of Order and Demons are beings of Chaos and Humans fall in between the two. Also I’ve been at a loss for names for the Deities here but I do have two for sure. The Goddess of Life was named Gaia and the Goddess of Chaos was named Lilith. 

Basically Heaven and Hell had always been at odd with each other and Earth was a common battle ground. The earliest I can go with the timeline that’s relevant would be what I call the Princes Era. 

Prince Era (World Statuses) 

Earth: Humanity is young, they are mostly just coming out of their hunter-gatherer stage of things. The planet is mainly used as a battle ground for the warring Angels and Demons, inspiring myths of old to come. Magic is wild and free in this time on the planet. When Lucifer fell it disrupted the ley lines of the planet resulting in a steady decline of the magical on earth for years to come.

Hell: Hell is in chaos itself. While dealing with the war with the Angels they are dealing with heavy infighting between the demon variations and Lilith being unable to completely control her creations. After much thought Lilith decided to choose seven(eight) demons with blood from the seven ruling families to become the first seven Princes of Hell and unite Hell into one unified force to defend themselves properly from the greater threat that are the Angels. 

The first seven(eight) Princes are the following: 

Baphomet of the Superbia family, the Prince of Pride and the next chosen King of Hell whenever Lilith decides to step down. 

Beelzebub of the Grykësi family, the Prince of Gluttony. 

Leviathan (Identical twins Via and Anthel) of the Invidia family, the twin Princes of Envy who both share the identity of Leviathan in the public.

Asmodeus of the Libidine family, the Prince of Lust.

Mammon of the Avaritia family, the Prince of Greed. 

Sathanas of the Ira family, the Prince of Wrath. 

Belphegor of the Tristitia family, the Prince of Sloth.

Notes 1: Prince is just a title here. Sathanas and Beelzebub are women Notes 2: The Princes were all granted the ability to use Hell Fire by Lilith personally after she assessed deemed them all worthy in one way or another. 

Heavens: A world ruled by the God of Order through the chosen King. At the time it’s extremely militaristic. Working under the King and God of Order are the four Archangels; Michael, Lucifer, Gabriel and Raphael. Though, under the surface there’s a rebellion brewing. (I will be honest, I always focused a bit more on the Hell as a world when thinking about this Era.) 

Notes: What sets the Archangels apart here from regular angels besides rank is that they were blessed with the ability to harness the power of Holy Fire, which is something more explained story wise. Just know it would kill the average angel if they tried to use it.

Modern Era

The Modern Era is marked by the a huge event. The destruction of Hell. In their ever going war, 100 years before present time, an attack by the Angels lead to Hell being rendered unstable, which resulted almost half of the population being killed and the other half escaping to Earth. Some kind of peace treaty was made and it allowed the Demons to stay on Earth but with conditions. Also, with this event the Angels too more charge on Earth than they were before and humanity was now pulled fully into the know about Angels and Demons existing. 

This also established something very important to the story itself. The Zones. Most high population areas were split into Human Zones and Demons Zones, with a few cities gaining a third Zone due to the humans refusing to move and/or being sypathetic to the demons. This is the Neutral Zone. Aka, a home for society’s misfits. The main setting of the story is one of these three zoned cities. Right now it’s called Half-Light City but that name is subject to change most likely lol. 

The Zones 

The Human Zone is fairly well maintained for the most part. It has it’s occasional bad section, but those are closer to the Neutral Zone’s border fence. All and all it is the most upkept part of the city and is home to Humans, Angels and Half-Angels. It is heavily guarded and you need an ID to get in from the Neutral Zone, along with the requirement of being human. Demons and Half Demons are not allowed unless summoned. The Human Zone is protected by the Hunters, a group that is somewhat a cross between the police and the military. This section of the city is run by a chosen Council which answers to the Angelic Council of the Heavens. The occupants seem rather ignorant to the going ons of the other parts of the city and seem to go on with life without a second thought. Most of them at least.

The Demons Zone has a surprisingly decent upkeep, but then again they usually have to do it themselves because the money given to them by the city is not that much. The zone is mostly populated with full Demons, with the occasional Half-Demon or Demon with a Human partner scattered about. The fence between them and the Neutral Zone is actually quite open and in a state of disrepair, though Demon Zone residents and Neutral Zone residents alike guard it, it is usually quite easier to pass between these two Zones than it is for either of them to pass into the Neutral Zone. The Demon Zone was formerly run by a Demon Council made of Noble family survivors or descendants but was recently overthrown by a shady organization that needs a new name so bad. I’m so embarrassed of the old name I will not mention it but I will say I abused Google Translate as a teen so bad.

The Neutral Zone is basically the slums with a few nicer parts of town. It's a dreary and gray place at first glance honestly, but underneath that is a sense of unity between its people. Humans, Demons, Half-Breeds of both sorts and Fallen mix fairly well. The Neutral Zone is home to swindlers, mercenaries and all sorts of illegal activity giving it and it’s residents a negative reputation in the Human Zone. The Zone is co-lead by the two leaders of the two biggest Mercenary groups in the zone; the Triad and the Freelancers.

A more detailed description of the Heavens and Hell 

Heavens 

The Heavens are a set of floating islands that float around each other similar to a solar system might. The middle Island is The Capital City, and the roads are literally paved with gold and as well as some buildings being made of gold as well. It’s where the wealthy and powerful often live and is the center of their government. It is the largest single island whereas each other section of the Heavens is more of a string of islands.

The closer a set of islands are to the Capital the more privileged and wealthy the citizens are, and the higher the rank. There are a total of six rings of islands around the Capital. The outermost two hold the most farmland, forests, orchards, etc. Those two rings are the most populated and are where the lesser angels live.

Most Lesser Angels will never see Earth unless they join the military or join missionary work.

There are two islands floating above the Capital. One is the prison and trial area of soon to be Fallen Angels, and the other larger one is for military training. They never move from their fixed positions above the Capital.

While there are trains and such, most Angels get around via walking or flying, though flying is more common.

Angels higher up either dress like royalty or business men/women. Depends on the family. Lower class Angels dress in things like tunics and kinda, you know, greek-type of shit unless their employer gives them a more modern uniform. 

Angels use portals that appear like a glowing mass of light to get around Earth.   Hell

Hell is a Realm that exists solely in an underground location. It is said that the surface is way too hot to even walk upon, let alone live. There are Seven Circles of Hell and each Circle is responsible for a different area of their government, with Pride being the most powerful of them all.

The First Circle is the closest to the Surface and the most resistant to the heat found there. That would be the Wrath Circle. Physically they are the most capable of the variations of Demons and their Noble Family is the one in charge of the Military.

The Second Circle is Lust. Lust demons are the ones in charge of the Magical Regulations in Hell. That being said, they have the most Mages born to them, and some of the most powerful Magic users. They also are in charge of any and all Seers born in Hell.

The Third Circle is Greed. Greed demons are the ones in charge of the economics of Hell.They honestly have the most boring job, but it brings in the most money. They simply don’t mind because hey, the like to hoard riches anyways. They are said to have the biggest hand in the slave trade in Hell though.

The Fourth Circle is Envy. Envy demons are the ones in charge of the Judicial branch of Hell, handling criminals, legal matters, and prisoners. The latest raining families of Envy Demon Nobles have been well known for being cold and unbiased.

The Fifth Circle is Sloth. Sloth demons are the ones in charge of the Health care in Hell to put it simply. Someone has to be in charge of it. It also helps that Sloth demons have the largest amount of natural Healers born in their variation.

The Sixth Circle is Gluttony. Gluttony demons are surprisingly the second in charge after the Pride demons. The Noble Family of the Gluttony Circle has a deep history with the Pride royal family. Other than being the second in command the Gluttony demons are the ones in charge of Education and History keeping.

The Seventh and most powerful Circle is Pride. The Pride demons are the ones that run things, they are in charge of all the other Noble Families, and contain the Royal Family and the current ruling King or Queen of Hell. They have the final say in everything, but normally let most of the Noble Families run their domain as they see fit to.

Demons have technology based around magic, so magic teleporters, communication orbs, shit like that, is pretty common place.

The Slave trade is common and highly accepted by older demons though the newer generations are beginning to be against it. The slave trade in Hell often consists of captured humans, half demons, Fallen and rarely half angels and extremely rarely angels.

They have a potion that can make a Demon appear like a human for 24 hours meant for spies but a lot of teenagers use it to sneak to earth to party.  

Jewelry is huge in their culture. Like, seriously, so much jewelry.

A lot of Circles are mixed with the type of demons that live there but they usually have a slightly higher population of the type of demon the ring is named after.

I will probably make a separate post going more into detail about the species of angels and demons themselves. Demons, btw, consists of 7 different races of demons separated by sin type. They all have different traits. 

Magic Stuff I guess

Angel Magics (From common to rarest)- Healing, Aura Sight, Defensive and Protective, Weaponry Enchantment, Runic, Elemental, Precognition, Holy Fire (this one is literally the rarest thing for an angel to have).

Demon Magics (From common to rarest)- Illusions, Elemental, Contract Magic, Enchantment, Energy Draining/Aura Draining, Binding Magics, Witchery (Jinxes, charms, etc), Healing Magic, Possession, Shadow Magics, Shapeshifting (Rare for non Gluttony Demons only), Hellfire (Super Rare, actually marks the next Heir of a Ring of Hell to have it.), Precognition.

Human Magics (All human Magics are considered rare)- Witchery (Gained naturally or through demonic contract), Healing, Aura Sight, Runic, Elemental, Precognition.

Everyone can brew things such as potions.

Demons have more magic energy than Humans or Angels tbh and mages are way more common with them, though Healers are more common with Angels, and less common with demons.

Technology is advanced and exists and is built to work alongside magic.

Weaponry such as swords are still used though with Angels and Demons.

oh god yes. the mcyt fandom is the first fandom i've consistently put out content for, but i have a LOT of wips that'll probably never see the light of day from a myriad fandoms, including but not limited to tma, fma, bleach, hetalia, hxh, bsd, old-timey 70s mech anime (mazinger, grendizer, getter robo etc), mlp, the list goes on. i am running out of google drive space, send help. some highlights that i might someday publish include (this got a little long):

- a natsume yuujinchou/bleach crossover that delved into the differences between takashi and ichigo's attitudes and mindsets in similar circumstances that i THINK was supposed to be endgame takashi/ichigo?????

- a bleach greek mythology au where soul reapers are gods/nature spirits, quincies are titans, and Important People are primordial deities, with the thirteen division captains inheriting the greek pantheon; ichigo was, predictably, chaos (this was a fun idea)

- a very fleshed-out black butler/fullmetal alchemist crossover with ciel as the main alchemist who managed to pull his own truth out of his gate and named him sebastian and now are seeking revenge against the people that killed his twin brother (predictably, it was father), after which he'd promised sebastian he would surrender himself to the void of the gate; it was about revenge going cold and being the only thing driving you, and about finding people who help you keep going after you think everything's been lost - i really like this story still

- an undertale fic or comic that, like many others, delved into sans's backstory, but fleshed out the concept of the judge and established that it was part of a triad meant to serve the crown, as visualised by the delta rune: the royal guard, the royal scientist, and the judge. time travel was involved. sympathetic chara and asriel were involved. a significant amount of c-ptsd was involved, as seems to happen whenever i put my hands on any content ever

- a hetalia/boku no hero academia crossover that i planned out down to the quirks of every character i wanted to implement and their backstories and what area from what country they came from, etc etc, and yet wrote absolutely zero story for

- a one piece fic about reconciling two of my favourite ships at the time, zoro x luffy and law x luffy, wherein i delved into polyamory, pirate king luffy who just wants shanks to have a peaceful retirement, law seeking help of his own volition, and me using my powers to make literally every character not cishet

Alright lads I've been thinking hard about a Persona AU (and of course I know this has absolutely been done already but I wanna throw in my 2 cents as well) and it's finally coming together.

Heroes

Neku is the main protagonist; Fool Arcana. His Persona is Hephaestus, god of fire & sculpture (I was originally going to go with Apollo, but decided that Hephaestus fit a little better due to his association with the arts and that lining up with Neku's love of graffiti.) In battle he's, not surprisingly, an Agi user and he actually doesn't have any weapons he literally just lights his hands on fire and decks Shadows in the face. Neku's weak to ice attacks.

Beat is the Chariot, and his Persona is Thor! He's a Zio user that also specializes in physical attacks with high endurance (like Ryuji and Kanji); and his short range weapon is a mace. He doesn't really like distance combat so he just.. doesn't have a long range weapon. Beat's weak to Garu (wind) attacks.

Joshua's Persona is Metatron and his strengths are Hama and Mudo skills- catch is, when first recruited his accuracy is rather low and it costs a LOT of SP; so he's a high risk high reward party member. Short range weapon is a scythe and long range weapon is a gun. Josh's Arcana is the Justice, and he's weak to physical attacks.

Shiki is a Psy user, and the resident healer. She's somewhat of a glass canon: her attacks do a LOT of damage but if she gets hit by an enemy she's weak to, it does massive hurt. Her Persona is Rhapso: (she was a minor goddess in Greek mythology that was a seamstress!) Shiki's weapon of choice is a crossbow and her Arcana is the Lovers. She's weak to nuclear attacks.

Mr. Hanekoma's Persona is Lucifer, inheriting Bless skills; and his Arcana is the Hierophant. He has no weaknesses, so he's a pretty solid party member. Weapon of choice is a sword. (Or a dagger. Either or. Most likely a dagger though.)

Rhyme is their navigator; of the Strength Arcana. Her Persona is Eirene (goddess of peace) and due to being the support role, doesn't have any strengths or weakness. Additionally, Rhyme does not use any weapons.

Antagonists

Konishi is one of the major antagonists of the AU and her Persona is Persephone, queen of the underworld and Hell. Specializing in both Agi (fire) and Mudo (death) attacks, she is a force to be reckoned with and a formidable foe. Thankfully she is not infallible; and Bless attacks are her Achilles heel. Her Arcana is Empress, & she doesn't use any weapons.

Sho is another major antagonist and his Persona is Kratos, specializing in Physical and Curse attacks. In addition, his megaphone doubles as a weapon and he has the ability to inflict Confusion, Fear or Brainwash on his opponents. Unlike Konishi, he has no innate weaknesses and has to be brute forced in order to overcome him. His Arcana is Death.

Setting

The UG serves as sort of the team's "Metaverse" in this AU and the protagonists can hop back and forth between it and the RG thanks to Joshua: since he can essentially change his "wavelength" in canon, in this AU he essentially creates a temporary 'bridge' of sorts and averages out the wavelengths between the two planes so Neku and Co can cross over (because under normal circumstances if you're not a Reaper or an Angel, the only way to the UG is to die)

Plot of this series is people are mysteriously disappearing in the RG at alarming rates and Josh comes to Neku and friends for help: the UG is getting unstable and overlapping with the RG, and as a result Taboo Noise are escaping to the real world and picking people off and a higher amount of them are getting erased in the Reaper's game. Finding the source of whoever is creating the Taboo Noise and incapacitating them as quickly as possible is vital to bring stability back to both planes; so Neku & friends agree to help restore the balance. Thus, the adventure begins! (Oh yeah and this features RG Shiki because she deserves all the love in the world and a ton of friendship between all the kids because I'm a sucker for fluff)

I wrote this post, like, a year and a half ago but I just found it so here I’m throwing it into the void!

Okay, I have no justification of any kind, other than “the other night I rearranged my room, saw my mlp toys on my Percy Jackson shelf, and decided to debate with myself about “if the MLP cast were all in the PJO Universe, who would their godly parent be?”.” 

Obviously they’re all Humans, or well, Demigods, in this AU(Actually, there’s one Mortal), instead of being ponies(I think by default horses are Poseidon territory). That said, their in-show abilities/traits count for what I choose. Same for choosing the ‘godly parent’, meaning that while full Myth(and my interpretations) will be in play, how the gods work in the PJO books count as well. 

I’m also keeping to just the more well-known gods/goddesses. Because while there’s a lot of minor ones and I could probably spend days going down the rabbit hole of Wikipedia articles to find a ‘perfect fit’, why would I do that? For that same reason, I’m also sticking to Greeks instead of trying to balance ‘should I make them Greek or Roman?’. 

So! On that note, this is mostly a list, however, I do add more and give reasons for my choices, even talking of ones I debated about. And a few bonus headcanons.

Twilight Sparkle - I feel like Athena is the obvious choice. I mean, Twi’s intelligent and strategic so Daughter to the Goddess of Wisdom is a good idea, plus she has a pet owl which is one of Athena’s symbols. It’s what most people go with.

However, I’m going with her as a Daughter of Hecate. My reasons?

 First of all, Hecate is Goddess of Magic, and, well, Magic is Twi’s thing. She’s a talented spellcaster, and that’s a big part of her character.

Hecate is also a Goddess of Crossroads, something we see a lot with Twilight, in multiple ways.

She is the character with the most ‘counterparts’, not just her literal Counterpart in Sci-Twi, but metaphorical counterparts, ‘other paths she could have taken’. I mean, there’s Sunset, Starlight, Sci-Twi, Trixie, and also Moondancer that show off places Twilight could have ended up had she chosen differently in life. 

However, Twilight is also the Crossroad for others. She is the character who is trying to lead others down the best path, giving them the choice of where to go. Again, we see this a lot with reforming villains. She offers them a chance to change the path, to turn and go down another. 

Another thing that Hecate is associated with is childbirth and nurturing the young. 

In the show, Twilight earned her Cutie Mark by hatching Spike, and even if she wasn’t his direct mother(I headcanon them more as siblings), she did help to raise him. 

She’s also a teacher, both in usual subjects (as we saw with the CMC in Twilight Time), and in teaching others about friendship(While those characters are not ‘young’, it counts).

Pinkie Pie - Again, it seems like an obvious choice as a Daughter of Dionysus, God of wine, parties, and madness. Okay, we have no idea how Pinkie feels about wine since this is a kids show(Personally, I feel like she shares my tastes and doesn’t care for it.)

Which is why I’m making her a Daughter of Apollo instead. He’s God of the Sun, and Pinkie is a metaphorical ball of sunshine. Other things Apollo is the God of include: Healing, Music, Art, Archery, and also Prophecy.

Pinkie’s relation to Music and Art are obvious, and while we don’t get to see her with a bow, she seems to have good aim. As for Prophecy? Pinkie Sense. She’s canonically able to predict the future. 

Now, you might not think Healing fits in, but it does. After all, isn’t Laughter the best medicine? Okay, jokes aside, while Pinkie isn’t a ‘healer’ in the doctor sense, she’s more like a ‘healer’ in the therapist sense(Obviously not licensed, but you get the idea). When she can’t cheer someone up from just a simple party, she puts her all into working through their problems and getting them to be truly happy again. And that’s a type of healing people forget about alot.

Rarity - Huh. Another one that gets a ‘this has an obvious choice’ category. A Daughter of Aphrodite, Goddess of Beauty, Love and Lust, able to charm any into doing what she wishes. And in terms of the PJO world? She’d fit right in with the others of the Aphrodite Cabin(Well, she’d probably punch Drew in the face but whatever.).

However, once more, I’m going for an odd choice: Daughter of Hades. And before I go into my reasoning, take all the memories of Hades as a villain and anything from Disney and chuck that out a window. Not just here, but in general. Because damn it, he’s not evil. He’s probably one of the most chill of the gods. Stop making him the villain. Even this series only used him as a fakeout villain in the first book. And we don’t talk about the movie. What movie? That doesn’t exist!

Anyway, while Hades is God of the Underworld, he also has a few other things he rules. Hades is also known as the God of Wealth, as all of the precious metals and gems in the Earth were of his domain as well. Rarity and her ability to manipulate Gems reminds me a little bit of Hazel’s abilities(though obviously less cursed(And I know Hazel is technically ‘Pluto’s’ but they’re both the same god and not the same god)).

However, there’s a few other things that made me decide to have Rarity be a Daughter of Hades instead of Aphrodite:

First is the fact that, as much as Aphrodite was a good fit for her in quite a few ways, she is also considered a Goddess of Desire(not just Lust, but all desires and even the fulfillment of said desires). As materialistic as Rarity can be, she’s also the Element of Generosity. While the MLP universe can balance the traits, making her want things but always giving to others as well, putting Desire in her nature feels wrong.

Secondly, within the PJO series, Hades is shown to be very generous, even if it’s a trait rarely seen by the other gods(due to family feuding), but is shown in his relationships with the women he loved.

His love with Persephone, for example. He was kind and patient with her, wishing for her to love him as he did her. He started with magnificent gifts,and took to spending all of his time with her and doing whatever he could to make her happy. He even hired the most skilled (deceased) gardeners in the Underworld to grow a magnificent garden for her. He says that though he is God of Wealth, she is dearer to him than any precious metals or gems.

(Because I know someone will point it out, the whole thing with their relationship and the pomegranate seeds has several interpretations, some happier than others. The PJO version has Persephone truly fall for Hades, and one of the gardeners tricks her with the pomegranate seeds. (My personal interpretation of the story is that Persephone fell for Hades and ate the Pomegranate seeds on purpose so that they wouldn’t be separated. I mean, within actual Greek Myths, they’re the most stable couple with the least affairs))

Back to the books, we have Maria di Angelo. Hades tried to convince her to live in Underworld with him, despite the fact that it would piss off Persephone a bit, to protect her and their kids from the other gods. He insists that he will build her a beautiful golden palace by the River Styx, but doesn’t get a chance to because Zeus kills her first. (He wishes to resurrect her, but even a God of the Underworld must obey the laws of Death.)

While it’s technically ‘Pluto’ and not ‘Hades’, we also have Marie Levesque. He loved her so much he swore on the River Styx to give her anything. When she took him up on that and asked for all the riches of the Underworld, he begs her to ask for anything else, as the greediest wishes come with curses. And even though she ignored the warning and cursed their daughter, he did what he could to protect them. 

Another reason is that I find that most interpretations of the afterlife are Generous, in a way. While there’s definitely punishment in the afterlife, most versions include some version of ‘unless you’re a huge dick you’ll be rewarded with everything that would make you happy’. 

Final reason: the fanfic “In the Twilight of Death” which includes Rarity as a Grim Reaper. It doesn’t really factor in ‘logically’, but tbh I can’t help it. That fic’s good though so check it out.

Applejack - While it’s obvious, I’m not going to pull what I did before and be like ‘this is obvious but..’ thing. Applejack would be a Daughter of Demeter. Goddess of Agriculture and Harvest and all that.

Rainbow Dash - I debated about this one for a while. I thought of using Ares(Rainbow’s middle name is ‘Fight Me’), Zeus(Because God of Sky and Lightning), and even Iris(Because Goddess of the Rainbow).

However, I ended up deciding on her being a Daughter of Nike, Goddess of Victory, Strength, and Speed. It fits quite well. 

Fluttershy - Daughter of Iris. While I considered this for Rainbow Dash, I feel Iris fits Fluttershy more because of the version in the books. I mean, non-violent, only attacks in self defense, a little with the hippie crowd, severely underestimated due to their most known traits(Iris is known for messages and rainbows, Flutters is known for being kind and shy) but will totally kick your ass when needed.

Sunset Shimmer - Okay, I really want to put Hestia, because I associate Sunset with Hestia a lot because of reasons. But apparently Hestia has no kids as she’s one of the Virgin Goddesses. I’m really trying to think of other options. Like

Hecate, because like Twilight she’s Magic

Apollo, because of the Sun connection, good with her hands(art and music)

Athena, because she’s intelligent and strategic

Hephaestus, because she could totally build magic robots(Again, good with her hands) and also fire association

But just.... none of them feel right.

Fuck it! I don’t fucking care. Let’s just pretend that Hestia is like Athena, she creates children through other means and is still an eternal virgin. IDK, maybe they spawn out of her hearth fires. Anyway, Sunset’s a Daughter of Hestia.

Celestia and Luna - I’m putting them together because their headcanons are a bit connected. Okay, so, in this AU they’re either half-sisters or adopted. Celestia is a Daughter of Apollo(because Sun), but Luna is a Mortal.

However, because they’re always together, and because Luna can see through the Mist, she knows all about the whole ‘Demigods’ thing. But this puts Luna in a lot of danger, and Celestia insists she be allowed to come to CHB too so she can protect herself.

Obviously they don’t allow it since Luna’s Mortal, but Celestia decides that instead she’ll train Luna with all the Greek weaponry herself. 

At some point, they’re off on their own somewhere and end up running into some monsters. They handle it beautifully, and catch the attention of Artemis. She invites them both to join her Hunters, which they agree to. Luna took to the life better, being nocturnal and seeming to almost be able to see through the darkness, so she quickly became the Hunters’ Lieutenant

Discord - Son of Eris. Come on. That one’s too perfect.

Chrysalis - Daughter of Aphrodite. Again, kinda perfect on that one.

Cadence -  Can we go three for three on perfection? Yes, because here’s another Daughter of Aphrodite.

Shining Armor - I was debating on this, because he and Twilight are siblings so how should this work? I don’t want him to also be a son of Hecate. So they’re step-siblings on the Mortal side in this AU

I was also debating on whether to make his godly parent Ares or Athena. On one hand, while both are war/battle gods, Athena has a heavier emphasis on strategy. On the other hand, Athena also has heavier emphasis on her non-battle qualities.

Not to disrespect any character and/or gods, but while Shining is intelligent and a good strategist, he doesn’t fit the rest of the Athena kid qualities. So I’m making him a Son of Ares, though a bit more strategic and less bloodthirsty than his godly half-siblings(he gets it from his mom’s side of the family).

Spike - Son of Hephaestus, and definitely has those fire powers. While his character isn’t known for building, I think he could have some skill with it. As for his relationship to Twilight and Shining in this AU: He was adopted by their Mortal Parents. I’ll go more into that later.

Sweetie Belle - Rarity’s half-sister, on the mortal side. Daughter of Apollo. She sucks at healing and if you value your life keep her away from the bows, but her music skill is fantastic. Her prophecy abilities only show up when she’s being sarcastic.

Scootaloo and Flash Sentry - Full siblings(because I headcanon them as such in-show). Children of Athena. An odd choice, but I think it works. We know Flash is a Guard in-show, meaning he’s likely good with fights, and if Scootaloo had a middle name it’d be ‘fight me’, but both have also shown some craftsmanship abilities. Well, Scoots has(working on her scooter and all(also, you have to be smart to calculate those tricks yourself)) and I headcanon that Flash has shown those type abilities as well because the show gives him so little character that anything with him is ‘canon until proven otherwise’ and- Whatever. Rant for another time. 

Big Macintosh - Full sibling with Applejack. Son of Demeter. Self-explanatory.

Applebloom - Daughter of Hephaestus(AJ and Big Mac are her step-siblings in this AU). I chose this because all expected her to get a Cutie Mark for, well, building shit in general. (I’m still a little salty there)

Starlight Glimmer - Daughter of Nemesis, Goddess of Justice/Vengeance/Balance. You can figure out that one on your own.

Diamond Tiara - Either a Daughter of Hades,or another example of me saying ‘fuck it!’ and making her a Daughter of Hestia like Sunset. I am undecided. 

Have a few more headcanons for this AU:

This all would be post-PJO series, because a few things would vary a lot from Canon if it were during-series.I mean, Hades can only loophole kids into the series so many times before someone snaps. Also Luna becoming the Hunter’s Lieutenant would involve Thalia either dying or stepping down. And I want this to be when minor gods/goddesses have their own cabins too, and perhaps CHB has established something similar to New Rome where adult Demigods can just chill(Or Percy said ‘fuck you let us have a safezone to chill as adults’ and had some friends help buy a horse ranch in the middle of bumfucknowhere for people to set up their own town of Demigods. Because I’m pretty sure summer camp has an age limit.)

As for ages, most of them would be the ages I usually headcanon for them: Mane 7(And Flash) are 16-19, younger siblings(And Diamond) are 13/14, older siblings(and Starlight) are in early twenties. Might drop Celestia/Luna/Discord/Chrysalis down to early twenties too. 

I mean, age is irrelevant, as I’m not writing a story with them at these ages. I’m just giving the ages relevance to one another. 

Oh! So, I mentioned the whole Twilight, Shining, and Spike thing and how all that goes down. 

So, Twilight and Shining’s Mortal parents are their in-show parents. Velvet met Ares during her ‘rebel phase’ and had a one-night-stand that resulted in Shining. Night Light met Hecate and had a bit more of a relationship, but it was only a few nights and then she ‘stopped texting back’, allowing him to move on. He soon met Velvet and they fell in love. Then one night Hecate knocks on his door, drops newborn-Twilight into his arms and is like ‘Hey, I had a kid, she’d yours. I can’t take care of her or stay in your life. Bye!’. Despite the confusion, Velvet sticks by him and they get married. Also, imagine that itty bitty Shining pretty much thought Hecate was ‘the stork’ until sex-ed classes. 

Anyway, while both kids are showing various abilities(Some more concerning than others. Shining is the embodiment of ‘Let me see what you have...’ ‘A knife!’), their parents don’t know about Demigods or anything. Just that their kids have powers. They convince them to keep it all secret, which works for a while. Until one year on the last day of school. At the time, Shining’s 11 and in 5th grade, Twi’s 6 and in 1st grade. Spike happens to be going to the same school, though he doesn’t run into them often because he’s in Kindergarten. Spike’s story is that he’s an orphan, his bio mom having either disappeared or abandoned him. The adults weren’t sure about his age but stuck him in Kindergarten(we later find out he’s actually 4 at this time, but he’s a smart kid so he didn’t struggle through it). 

As I said, it’s the last day before summer break(because of course it is), when a monster manages to herd the three of them into an empty classroom. They fight the thing off well enough. Luckily, one of their teachers happened to be one of CHB’s undercover people(maybe a Satyr or a former camper). Unluckily, their teacher has to take them on the run since more monsters are chasing them. 

During their ‘on the run to camp’ time, Twilight and Shining bond with Spike a lot. They all get to camp, and get to properly message their parents(AKA give mom and dad another heart attack because phones are banned but rainbows work fantastic!), and essentially get the rundown on the whole Demigod business. 

Unfortunately, they get separated pretty quick. All three get Claimed, and sent to different cabins. While they slowly get used to sleeping so far apart and do end up making some friends with other campers, they stubbornly refuse to be separated. People try, but it’s hard to argue with the guy with a perfect intimidating stare and knife collection, the girl who has little issue spellcasting when angry, and the toddler with fire powers. 

By the end of the first summer, Twilight and Shining don’t want to leave Spike behind. I mean, his two options are either becoming a year-round camper, or going back into the foster care system. They talk to their parents about it, and it doesn’t take much convincing for them to legally adopt Spike into the family.

Oh, another family thing I’d have to talk about is Pinkie and her family. I’m not quite sure how though. Maybe she’s adopted by them at some point? I don’t usually like making Pinkie the ‘adopted’ one, but I’d kind of have to since she’s third oldest and that’s better than the alternatives. But I don’t think any of her sisters are Demigods. 

Her relationship with the Cakes though! I headcanon differently. So, I’m gonna bump up the twins to elementary school age(7). Anyway, the twins are also Demigods(children of Hermes). Someone’s probably asking ‘uh, wouldn’t that involve an affair?’. Well, I’m just going to go with either 1.)Mr. and Mrs. Cake weren’t together yet or 2.) open relationship?

Anyway, Pinkie met them two years ago. She happened to be hanging in the park near their bakery(because they still own a bakery in this au). The twins go to the park a lot after school, usually with one parent supervising the playground. This time, however, a monster attacks. Since Pinkie was nearby, she leaped into action. She manages to get the cakes to run off, and follows because the monster seems more intent on the easier kill(Aka, she can’t lure it away). 

Eventually, she manages to kill the beast, and the twins are scared but think she’s a superhero. She correctly guessed that Mr. Cake isn’t their bio dad, and asks if there’s been any other ‘incidents’, either attacks or unexplained things happening. She does decide to tell them the truth, showing off her own powers to prove it. After that sinks in, she tells them about CHB, and how it can keep the twins safe, and teach them to defend themselves. 

At first, they’re against it, as they really don’t want their kids to learn something so dangerous. But Pinkie sticks around to protect them, walking them from school in the afternoons and babysitting when they want to go to the park. Monster attacks and weird things become a bit more frequent(mostly because now the Cakes now about this, and also Pinkie can testify that it wasn’t ‘small children with overactive imaginations’).

 So they ask Pinkie about CHB again, how safe is it? She assures them that it’s safe, and that if they want, they can do it just for the summer, pretend it’s a normal summer camp. So yeah, after the school year ends they let Pinkie play navigator and drive to camp. Pinkie helps them with the sign-in process(since Mortals aren’t usually allowed in and she doesn’t have the authority yet), and both Pumpkin and Pound have been going to CHB for the summer since. Pinkie still sticks with them during the other months, protecting, babysitting, and making sure they keep their skills sharp(which terrifies their parents because, uh, you are dual-wielding swords to battle small children??), but they’re happy and safe and Pinkie’s grown on them, so they’re good with it!

I don’t think I have any more specific headcanons on how the others found out/how they got to camp.

oh, look, a few bunnies.

   - muse a, the evil super villain, & muse b, the hero, are siblings. they still have dinner with mom & dad over the holidays.     - muse a is the too-young leader of a dystopian society, waiting for somebody to rebel ( cue muse b ! ). muse a never wanted to get the position but can’t seem to get out of it him/herself.     - muse a is a prince who has disguised himself as a peasant, in search of a maiden who will love him as who he is. muse b and him get along just fine, except there’s one issue: she has a burning hatred for all royalties.

before we formally jump in to all these jazz, i have to give credit where credit is due: a good number of these might not be original ideas ( credits to the magical place that is pinterest ! ), but i would love to further develop them in to full blown plots. some are admittedly cliché or perhaps romance-centric, but, nonetheless: 

- you know that really popular born-with-the-same-necklace-as-your-soulmate au that circulated tumblr some while back??? well, what if muse a has her necklace but knows her soulmate isn’t in her small town and muse b has to travel halfway across the world to retrieve his necklace... they team up since muse a needs transportation and muse b needs company. ( whether they turn out to be each other’s soulmate is up for plotting ! )  - muse a and muse b don’t really like each other but they are in love with each other’s best friends so they’ve decided to wingman each other. ( might seem more like a 2x2 ; inspired by the anime Toradora )  - what about a historical-figure-knocked-into-modern-times kinda plot? like imagine muse a as mozart waking up in the body of a teenager in a 2017 record store and muse b takes it upon him/herself to guide him/her through the whole new century.  - stumbled upon on tumblr: a high school shakesperean club split in to two after they can’t agree with the interpretation on romeo & juliet (one says its a cautionary tale, another says its a beautiful tragedy) and get this: a person from one group falls in love with a person from the other ?!  - greek gods/goddesses 1x1 because u gotta admit there’s a whole lotta drama goin’ on there. we can convert it in to a modern AU, or not.  - muse a has no idea who muse b is and it’s because muse b struck a deal to save muse a’s life at the cost of muse a forgetting her/his relationship with muse b.  - *whispers* a les mis 1x1 where enjolras gets the love he deserves ( a.k.a muse is a childhood friend of enjolras who has literally stormed all the way to paris so that s/he can fight alongisde him and enjolras has no choice but to let him/her )  - muse a can measure how dangerous people are on a scale of 1-10 just by looking at them; muse b is the new kid at school and is a glaring 10. muse a figures it’s up to him/her to find out why.  - muse a is a reaper and muse b is a guardian and they’re assigned to the same person. they’re constantly bickering and occasionally flirting, forgetting they have actual jobs to do.  - tumblr inspired: au where your soulmate’s name will be branded on one wrist and your enemy’s name on will be on the other. you have no way of figuring out which is which. muse a has muse b’s name on both wrists, and vice versa.  - give me a typical muse a and muse b were best friends since childhood and are secretly in love w/each other plot but leT’S DROWN IT!! IN!! ANGST!! - muse a as a personification of one of the seven deadly sins and muse b as the opposite of that sin ( i.e., muse a as pride and muse b as humility ).  pls do message me if you’re interested in any of these!!! xo

i’m writing a supernatural au (the concept not the show) for fairy tail and god i’m actually proud of myself because this might be the first thing i’m gonna finish that’s multi-chaptered. there’s gay shit and trans shit and it’s gonna be great

a read-more in case anyone cares abt my infodumping.

so a key note is that as long as people believe in things, those things exist. so as long as there are people who are christian, that God and the Holy Trinity exist etc etc. basically like in the pjo universe how emperor nero was able to live for so long + how greek+roman/egyptian/norse mythology can exist at once.

no supernatural (or mingulari, in this case...) can die via natural death. they have to be killed in order to die.

also!! respond w a “rabbit” if u read the whole thing!!

lucy, yukino, n sorano are angels!! the stars guide them to make decisions. they glow and have big fluffy wings and have halos and their spirit keys are lil coins like what sorano used in the infinity clock arc. they don’t pass as humans.

natsu, gajeel, wendy, sting n rogue are dragonas! they’re basically humans but have a dragon soul. these souls are the dragons (i.e. igneel, metalicana, grandine, weisslogia n skiadrum) and can communicate w their alters! they have horns and scales, the scales basically what they look like when theyre using dragon force and the horns are like what people imagine END natsu lookin like. they don’t pass as humans. all of the dragonas have exceeds, which are connected to a dragona via soul. every dragon has an exceed counterpart. why? who knows.

laxus, lyon, and erik are elementals. laxus is lightning, lyon is ice, and erik is poison. they’re like dragonas and godlings because their soul is literally the element. if ur powerful enough, that element grows a consciousness (which laxus and erik have acquired; lyon still has a ways to go)

gray is an ice demon!! specifically half but thats not important. he can secrete ice and basically like his normal ice make but on a larger scale. he has leather skin on his arm (demon skin) and a tail. he doesn’t pass as human.

juvia is a naiad! she’s a freshwater nymph but she’s not tied to a specific river. instead she’s tied to the rain! the rain follows her when she wishes it too. she can control the rain and also water in general. her skin is blue tinted and she has gills on the side of her neck, plus her eyes are kinda like fish eyes. she doesn’t pass as human.

cheria and orga are godlings! humans but w a god soul. think dragonas but... w gods. just like dragonas, they were once human but the gods (or dragons in dragonas case) chose them to become their alter. as long as their alter does not die, they stay inside of that human forever, thus changing that human into a mingulari. they WOULD pass if it wasn’t for the tint of skin that occurs when one becomes a godling.

mirajane, elfman, and lisanna are soul eaters! they consume the souls of those they kill (demons, beasts, and animals respectively) and can transform into those creatures. mira exclusively targets demons, and has a collection of three. elfman collects beasts + monsters that he kills, and lisanna collects the souls of animals that have died along the way, i.e. she doesn’t kill them, she just collects the souls that she finds.they pass so long as no one sees them transform.

erza and evergreen (and mavis) are fairies! erza is specifically a battle fairy, and evergreen is a fairy and a dusa. dusa’s turn people to stone with a glance. fairies are usually connected to nature and in erza’s case, she’s a very talented blacksmith that uses all organic material. all fairies have retractable wings, but neither of them like to do so, so they don’t pass. mavis specifically became an overseer, which is a fairy that protects the lives of other supernaturals around them and can prevent death if they work fast enough.

levy is a dark elf! or dwarf. they exist primarily in norse mythology and all descend from the goddess of beauty, freya! i.e. theyre directly her children. levy is a skilled craftswoman and due to her being a dwarf, she is rather short. she can sense metals from great distances (gold and silver is very easy, others are trickier) and levy on her own is incredibly smart. she doesn’t pass because her skin is tinted + her ears are pointy.

millianna is a sphinx! she’s crafty and clever and loves riddles. she can run very fast and can transform into a cat. she doesn’t pass, since she still has cat qualities when she’s in her more human-y form.

bickslow and sherry are reapers! they’re also called puppetmasters. they work like soul eaters, except for the fact that they reap souls and can insert them into objects. sherry puts things in and out as she pleases, but bickslow keeps them in his little dolls all the time. they pass so long as they wear glasses. but once glance into their eyes and boom, you know AND your soul has been reaped.

i feel like half of these i’m not even going to USE but theyre still there and i love having the ideas abt it.
