That’s the thing, no one so far has actually said the Doll is a literal mourning doll. That would be creepy. It’s just the concept of people making dolls in memory of their loved ones. The way mourning dolls were also commissioned for parents also was oddly in line with the theme of surrogate children in Bloodborne, but death dolls have been a thing in other cultures too and for a million different reasons.
The Japanese text says that the doll was created with the purpose of gentle consolation for its creator. That’s why the mourning doll theory got popular, but I don’t think anyone is actually trying to say that it’s a one-on-one comparison. It could just be a place where From Soft drew inspiration, since they often reference history in their games.
From Soft also has done the doll thing before. Ranni made two dolls in Elden Ring that looked like her former mentor and then possessed them. It’s just a theme they like to use apparently. I think people should feel free to discuss the mourning doll inspo theory without being told to be careful. We know it’s not the same thing. I’m trying to make this sound as non-hostile as possible, but it does feel like some people may be assuming the worst of others for offering different takes on the doll :/
Just to preface, I don't think ill of anyone who believes in or pushes the theory! This is just a fun little game discussion. It is essential to mention and acknowledge wider context when talking about possible inspirations and I do believe that wider context sours it a little bit. It's just that when people talk about more positive interpretations of the Doll they just say "Victorian Mourning Doll" without any specifications, I think that's just what puts me off a little bit.
Along with that, I think it's important to understand that the way that Gehrman and the Doll's relationship is presented within the game is uncomfortable- even if it wasn't intended to be so. The story concerning the Doll shifted a lot through development and it can even be assumed that Maria was created retroactively for the DLC and based on the Doll, instead of the other way around. That the unfortunate presentation that Gehrman stripped his apprentice of her masculine attributes and agency wasn't planned initially. I just think that the way that it is presented in the final product should defiantly be considered!!
This isn't Gehrman slander I really like Gehrman, but he absolutely isn't completely moral. I have to end this by stating that this is my opinion here!!! My specific wants about lore discussions aren't gospel or anything! It's just that when people mention this theory they tend to disregard the context around it is all and it's unfortunate that the context presents the exact opposite takeaway.

The previous idea is correct- but –the velocity 300000 km/s is a huge one and to decrease it to Zero velocity this is a complex process– for that- the wave (300000 km/s) created small waves with low velocities to use them as steps to decrease the velocity to Zero- the small waves are The Planets- (The planet is a small wave moves by low velocity relative to the mother wave its velocity 300000 km/s) 
Why Are These Small Waves Required?
Because the velocity 300000 km/s is decreased to Zero by using these small waves and their low velocities- the low velocities are used as steps to decrease the wave velocity (300000 km/s) to be (Zero)- this process decreases the velocity gradually from 300000 km/s to Zero depending on these small waves velocities (the planets velocities)

Where can we find a planet its velocity 75 km/s? this planet must be in the distance between the Sun and Mercury –
This planet orbital distance should be 23.2 million km
(57.9/23.2) = (75/47.4)^2  where
(57.9 million km = Mercury Orbital Distance) and (47.4 km/s) Mercury velocity

It's hard to add any planet in the distance between Mercury and the Sun- means- we can't add any new planet to the solar group because of the Sun existence.

How Could The Found Planets Be Added To The Solar System?
The Sun is created after all planets creation and motion- means – after all planets be in their orbits the Sun is created- In details-The planets were created in their orbits and revolve around a point of space, before the sun creation, and later the sun is created in this point of space around which the planets revolve

The light beam (1.16 million km per second) started its motion from Mercury orbit moves toward Pluto orbit– by that– we consider Mercury orbit is the origin point-
Now- we should notice- No planet is created yet- the motion from Mercury orbit to Pluto orbit defines the motion direction- and No planet is created before this motion end nor during this motion- the planets will be created after this motion is finished means when the light 1.16 million km per second reaches to Pluto (orbit)- after this event – the planets will be created –as I will explain later

Imagine we create A Sea Of Water- we use energy to create this sea of water- now we have some energy and we use this energy to create this sea of water- BUT- our energy is NOT spent completely But there's a small part still rest with us – this small part of energy is used to create one wave moves through this sea and this wave speed is 300000 km/s (I suppose the space is similar to the sea of water)
Now – the rest energy is found in one light beam its speed 300000 km/s and this light beam is found NOW in Pluto Orbit – and this light beam will be reflected from Pluto orbit toward the inner planets– means- the rest energy will move in the reflected direction to the original light motion direction.

Louis estava fodido. Hoje era o primeiro dia que ele estava na faculdade após longas duas semanas faltando quase todo dia. Veja bem, ele não é irresponsável nem nada assim, ele apenas teve que cuidar dos irmãos enquanto sua mãe viajava à trabalho. Os gêmeos pegaram uma gripe muito forte e por isso, não puderam frequentar à escola nesse período. Apesar de ser bolsista, Louis tinha notas impecáveis e fazia obras tão fantásticas que era um dos alunos exemplo da instituição, participando sempre de aulas extracurriculares e expondo seus trabalhos em nome da Faculdade de Artes de Doncaster. Chegou praticamente agora na sala de aula, logo sendo chamado pelo professor e ele não tinha dúvidas sobre o enorme puxão de orelha que receberia.
- Tomlinson, eu compreendo. Mas você vai ter que ir até o reitor, existem coisas que não estão ao meu alcance. Você é um dos nossos melhores artistas mas ainda assim, é necessário que compreenda suas responsabilidades. Por favor, fale com o reitor e logo após retorne para minha aula. – o professor franziu os lábios, claramente chateado por toda a situação.
- Tudo bem, eu entendo. – Louis suspirou, agarrando sua bolsa novamente e saindo da sala. Ele atravessou o corredor, subindo as escadas em direção à diretoria, estalando o pescoço antes de bater à porta. Se distraiu olhando a placa dourada na porta: “Mrs. Styles.” Ela dizia, tão prepotente quanto toda a academia de artes era.
- Entre. – A voz de Styles soou do outro lado da porta, despertando Louis do transe. Ele girou a maçaneta, entrando na sala e fechando a porta atrás de si. – Bom dia, Tomlinson. Fico feliz em vê-lo por aqui. Por favor, sente-se. – Harry apontou a poltrona do lado oposto da mesa à qual estava sentado, ajeitando seu paletó perfeitamente alinhado.
- Bom dia, senhor Styles. – Louis sorriu fraco, sentando-se. – Bom, me disseram que o senhor gostaria de falar comigo. – ele introduziu o assunto, deixando sua bolsa ao lado de sua poltrona, ao chão.
- Sim, você está correto. Imagino que saiba que minha motivação é seu repentino sumiço, duas semanas, Tomlinson. O que aconteceu? – Styles ajeitou um cacho atrás da orelha que havia se soltado do coque.
- Meus irmãos ficaram doentes, pegaram uma gripe muito forte. Minha mãe teve que viajar à trabalho, e minha outra irmã faz faculdade em outra cidade, então não havia ninguém pra cuidar deles além de mim. – Louis tentou disfarçar seu nervosismo pela presença de Harry, descontando a inquietação em mexer na barra de sua blusa.
- Eu entendo. – Harry suspirou, pegando Louis de surpresa pela reação. – Eu também já estive na faculdade e também era bolsista, é terrível quando temos imprevistos e não conseguimos cumprir com as nossas atividades. Eu sinto muito por isso, mas não consigo te salvar disso sem algum argumento muito bom pra dar na reunião com os outros reitores. – Ele explicou.
- Desculpe, acho que não entendi. – Louis franziu o cenho.
- Preciso de alguma novidade artística sua, Tomlinson. Algo que eu leve até eles e apresente como um desperdício imenso caso queiram cancelar sua bolsa. Você tem algo pra mim? – ele perguntou, tirando Louis no eixo por alguns segundos.
- Eu... Eu comecei a treinar realismo por observação , em pessoas. Não mais em objetos inanimados. – Ele sorriu ladino, sentindo suas inseguranças em suas habilidades o inundarem. – Mas é só um começo, sabe? Ainda não é apresentável. – Louis olhou nos olhos de Styles pela primeira vez desde que se sentou, sendo puxado para a infinidade verde que eram os olhos do ômega.
- Quero que tente. – Harry desviou o olhar, ajeitando seus anéis em suas mãos antes de retomar o contato visual. – Me desenhe. – propôs.
- Isso é demais, senhor Styles. Eu ainda não sou bom. – ele negou.
- Por favor, Tomlinson. Preciso que me ajude à te ajudar. – respirou fundo, sentindo o cheiro de nervosismo do alfa em sua sala. – Comecemos assim, me chame de Harry. Não sou seu reitor malvado e rígido, sou apenas seu modelo legal e que adoraria ajudar você à permanecer nessa faculdade. – ele sorriu pequeno.
- Ok. – Louis secou as mãos suadas na calça, olhando ao redor. – Pode se sentar no sofá, Harry? Ele é na frente da janela e eu gosto de desenhar contra à luz. – tentou sorrir descontraído, pegando seu sketchbook, um lápis e uma borracha da sua bolsa. Harry acenou positivamente, se levantando da cadeira e indo até o sofá.
- Tem alguma preferência? – Harry perguntou com as penas cruzadas, as mãos apoiadas no joelho.
- Pode tirar o paletó? Foi mal, mas eu odeio desenhar roupa. – Louis sorriu mais tranquilo, indo até o outro sofá de frente com o de Harry e sentando-se ali.
- Claro. – Harry tirou o paletó, deixando ao seu lado no sofá. – E a pose? – ele falou afrouxando a gravata.
- Escolhe você. – Louis disse, olhando Harry fixamente. – Só faça algo que faria, não algo robotizado. Me entende? – ele disse em tom de confusão, genuinamente em dúvida se conseguiu se expressar direito. Harry sorriu, jogando o corpo pro lado. Ele deitou de lado no sofá, uma mão abaixo da cabeça e a outra em seu quadril.
- Me pinte como uma de suas garotas francesas, Jack. – disse rindo, os dentes de coelho aparecendo. O cheiro de Louis não era mais tão nervoso assim. Observou ele rindo de si, deixando sua cabeça tombar no encosto, pronto pra mudar de posição.
- Não! – Louis quase falou alto demais. – Eu gostei, mesmo. – o sorriso dele era imenso. – Foi algo espontâneo, sua personalidade. Eu gostei. – sorriu ladino.
- Vai usar isso pra tirar sarro de mim com seus amigos depois, mas eu aceito esse fardo. – ele riu, voltando a repousar sua cabeça sob a mão.
- Não vou, prometo. – Louis riu, começando a esboçar o esqueleto. Ele começou pelo sofá, se atentando apenas como o estofado afundava com o peso de Harry, só para ter noção das dimensões. Percebeu que ele tinha os olhos perdidos pela sala, como se estivesse desconfortável com o silêncio. – Pode conversar comigo, se quiser. – sorriu pequeno, fazendo as linhas mais precisas, olhando fixamente para as coxas grossas que eram apertadas pela calça social.
- Porque decidiu fazer artes, Louis? – perguntou agora observando a feição do alfa, percebendo como era um garoto bonito.
- Além de amar, acho que porquê eu acredito que seja a forma de arte mais intensa. Por exemplo, quando você ouve uma música, ela tem a capacidade de transmitir o sentimento posto ali mas ainda assim você acaba se prendendo as letras que você mais se identifica, as que falam sobre os momentos que você experenciou, ao contrário das pinturas, por exemplo. Se há uma pintura de uma casa de madeira no meio da floresta, você provavelmente vai imaginar se aquilo foi observado e replicado ou se é um fragmento de um sonho do artista. Você vai se deixar pensar em como seria morar ali, qual é o sentimento, se quando chove há aquele cheiro intenso de terra molhada, se você faria um café ou um chá, se iria sentar em frente à janela ou na varanda. Vai se perguntar se aquilo conseguiria te completar, se a madeira dos pilares de sustentação ficariam úmidos e gelados. Você viaja, sua imaginação faz você questionar sua existência, sua vida, suas escolhas. – Louis falava baixo, fazendo Harry olhar para sua boca sem ao menos piscar, concentrado e hipnotizado no outro.
- E o realismo? Porque se encantou? – Harry disse baixo também, como se tivesse medo de que sua voz quebrasse o encanto do momento.
- Eu sei que o realismo é estimado demais por conta da dificuldade que é fazê-lo. Entendo quem acha a arte mais incrível e também a mais desinteressante, mas pra mim, a magia do realismo não é sua perfeição ou a habilidade necessária. Quando eu te mostrar, você vai conseguir ver como eu vejo você. No espelho, muito provavelmente, haverão detalhes que você vai considerar imperfeições ou traços seus que particularmente não admira. Pela minha visão, é possível perceber como eu te olho, quais são seus detalhes mais fortes, quais coisas em você me chamaram tanto a atenção que eu tive que reproduzir no desenho, te dando a oportunidade de entender quais são os seus detalhes que mais me atraem. – Louis olhou fixamente para seu rosto, dando atenção à cada marca de expressão.
- E quais são os meus detalhes que mais te atraem? – A respiração de Harry estava desregulada, engolindo em seco sob o olhar intenso de Louis.
- Praticamente todos, pra ser sincero. Sua mandíbula é desenhada, como uma escultura. Sua boca também, o contorno é marcado e específico, assim como seus dentes da frente são maiores, o que faz seu sorriso ser extremamente atraente. Me desculpe se eu disse demais. – Louis ainda percorria cada detalhe do rosto do ômega com atenção, sentindo seu lobo se agitar dentro de si. Não o culpe, ele ainda tinha seus instintos.
- Mais alguma coisa? – Harry engoliu em seco, tendo que umedecer os lábios, onde Louis rapidamente grudou seu olhar.
- Seus olhos. O formato deles é particular e o verde intenso, se eu fosse colorir teria que misturar inúmeros tons até se aproximar do real e acredito que mesmo assim não seria possível. Eles são muito, muito bonitos, suas sobrancelhas são cheias também, fazem uma bela moldura para eles e condenam sempre seus sentimentos. – Louis sorriu fraco, se ajeitando na cadeira.
- Obrigado, Louis. – acompanhou o sorriso, sentindo seu estômago gelado. – Você tem um olhar muito bonito sob as coisas. – ele aproveitou que o alfa havia retornado a atenção ao desenho, deixando seus olhos passearem por todo corpo dele, tendo que ignorar seu ômega interior implorando para se submeter.
- Eu sou um homem de muitos clichês. – Louis riu fraco, sentindo que o cheiro de Harry havia se tornado mais presente, deixando a sala mais doce, sentia-se em uma padaria pela manhã, onde os bolos mais cheirosos acabam de sair dos fornos. – Sou romântico, cavalheiro, solícito, emocionado, como meus amigos dizem. – ele riu, se sentindo agitado com o cheiro desejoso de Harry. – Acredito que há beleza em tudo, que até mesmo nos lugares mais sombrios e solitários sempre haverá um feixe de luz solar, um lampejo de esperança e a promessa de um bom futuro. Acredito na mudança, na possibilidade de haver mais pessoas boas, situações boas e caminhos bons. Acredito que devo muito disso à minha criação. – Louis esboçou o coque bagunçado dele, atentando-se aos fios rebeldes.
- Um tanto quanto narcisista, também. – Harry brincou, tentando disfarçar o quão afetado pelo alfa ele se encontrava. Louis tinha um cheiro forte, exatamente como havia descrito sobre a pintura, era como carvalho e terra molhada, um cheiro de casa tranquila, para Harry. Mesmo que ele não soubesse exatamente o que isso significava.
- Apenas sou um apreciador constante de eu mesmo. – Louis não conseguiu rir, tendo que cruzar as pernas por sentir seu cacete pulsar devido ao cheiro. Ele sentiu seu lobo tomar mais espaço dentro de si, se culpando quando passou segundos inteiros olhando para a pele desnuda do pescoço de seu reitor e se perdendo nos pensamentos de marcá-lo. É seu instinto primitivo e não há nada que Louis possa fazer além de se permitir imaginar. – Tire a gravata e abra os primeiros botões. – mandou com firmeza. – Por favor. – ele limpou a garganta, tentando minimizar sua imponência no comando.
Harry levou as mãos já trêmulas até a gravata, afrouxando até que fosse possível passar por sua cabeça. Ele o fez, deixando-a no chão e abrindo os quatro primeiros botões, deixando que Louis percebesse suas tatuagens de pássaro abaixo da clavícula e o início de seus peitos cheios.
- Você tem mais tatuagens? – Louis tentou mudar o assunto mas sendo incapaz de desviar o olhar, deixando-se observar como os peitos do ômega eram durinhos e seus mamilos apontavam pelo tecido fino da camisa.
- Muitas. – Harry respondeu baixinho, sentindo sua lubrificação natural escorrer pelo meio da bunda redonda.
- Eu também tenho, é uma das formas de arte mais bonitas, na minha opinião. – Louis observou mais uma vez as tatuagens, desviando rapidamente para os mamilos quando o tecido começou a escurecer, mostrando que estava molhado contra os bicos. – Harry. – chamou autoritário, atraindo a atenção pata seus olhos, deixando que Harry percebesse suas pupilas dilatadas. – Seus peitos. – avisou, sentindo seu instinto mais primitivo tentando ganhar espaço, a vontade inigualável de ir até Harry e fodê-lo com força.
- Oh meu deus! – Harry choramingou, sentando-se rapidamente e cobrindo as manchas com os braços. – Me desculpe Louis, me desculpe. – seus olhos encheram d’água, se sentindo envergonhado demais.
- Não tem problema, Harry. Você está grávido? Tem um alfa? – Louis abandonou suas cordialidades, sendo invasivo e não se importando nem um pouco com o fato.
- Não. – Harry sussurrou.
- Não precisa mentir pra mim. – Louis sentiu seu pau pulsar forte, tendo que ser discreto ao apertar por cima da calça.
- Não estou mentindo. – Harry choramingou. – Eu... Meus peitos eles...
- Me conte, Harry. – Louis observava as lágrimas do ômega.
- Eu vazo quando fico excitado. – disse de uma vez só. – Pode ir embora, por favor. Me desculpe. – sua cabeça permanecia baixa.
- Eu posso te ajudar com isso, Harry. Me deixa te ajudar. – Louis pediu, deixando o tesão tomar conta de si.
- Como assim? – Harry engoliu em seco, olhando para Louis ainda com a cabeça baixa.
- Deixa eu mamar seus peitinhos, ômega. Prometo que o farei e não direi à ninguém. – Louis deixou o caderno na mesa de centro, abrindo as pernas e encostando as costas no encosto do sofá, dando batidinhas em suas coxas. – Venha aqui. – pediu.
- Promete que não vai contar pra ninguém? – Harry perguntou manhoso.
- Prometo, ômega. Venha, seja bom pra mim. – Ele incentivou, vendo Harry se levantar devagar e ir até ele, ficando em pé entre suas pernas abertas.
Louis tocou suas coxas, puxando para si, fazendo o ômega sentar em seu colo, uma perna para cada lado de seu quadril. Ele segurou a cintura de Harry com as duas mãos, apertando com delicadeza. – Abra sua camisa, mostre seus peitos pra mim. – mandou olhando em seus olhos. Harry o obedeceu, abrindo a camisa até o umbigo, abaixando lentamente põe seus ombros, deixando os peitos bem perto do rosto do alfa. – Eu vou te mamar e deixar seus peitos vazios, ômega. – suas mãos deslizaram para cima, apertando os peitos, vendo o leite vazar entre seus dedos. Ele levou a boca até os mesmos, lambendo devagar um dos mamilos. Harry gemeu manhoso, movendo o quadril, raspando sua bunda cada vez mais molhada na pelve do alfa. Louis fechou sua boca no mamilo, sugando e sentindo o gosto açucarado do leite do ômega. Harry gemeu, segurando a cabeça do alfa com carinho, acariciando seu couro cabeludo enquanto dele mamava seu leite. Louis estava insano, seu pau doía de tão duro, o cheiro de Harry era entorpecente e seu lobo implorava para foder seu corpo.
- Você gostou do meu leite, alfa? – Harry perguntou choroso, gemendo baixinho, necessitado de aprovação.
- É uma delícia, ômega. Eu poderia me alimentar todos os dias nos seus peitos. – afirmou, dando atenção ao outro peito que estava negligenciado até agora. – Rebola em mim, Harry. Você quer isso, não quer? Seu gosto tá me deixando maluco, bebê. – Louis mordeu o mamilo com cuidado, fazendo Harry gemer mais alto e assentir vezes demais, encaixando a bunda bem acima do cacete de Louis antes de começar a rebolar.
- Seu pau parece tão grande. – Harry deslizou as mãos pelo corpo do alfa, apreciando seus músculos.
- Pede, ômega. Pede e eu vou te dar, você está sendo tão generoso comigo, me deixando tomar todo seu leite, sendo tão bom em me servir. É só me pedir e eu vou te dar, sim? – Louis lambeu toda a carne dos peitos, deslizando suas mãos por eles, espalhando o leite e retornando a mamar, inebriado pelo sabor delicioso do mesmo.
- Você pode me dar seu nó, alfa? Por favor, eu preciso tanto, meu rabinho tá doendo, muito vazio. – ele pediu deixando suas lágrimas saírem.
- Claro que sim, ômega. Levanta pro seu alfa tirar sua roupa, sim? – Louis mandou, vendo Harry se por de pé com dificuldade. Ele terminou de abrir sua camiseta, tirando do copo do ômega e a deixando ao seu lado no sofá. Observou as tatuagens pelos braços dele e a mariposa no estômago, tão, tão bonito. Abriu o botão da calça e a braguilha, abaixando lentamente por suas pernas. Harry tirou os sapatos com os próprios pés, deixando Louis tirar totalmente sua calça. – Que surpresa deliciosa, bebê. – Louis elogiou a calcinha boxer verde clarinha de algodão que ele usava. – Lindo, lindo. – beijou seu pau duro contra a mesma, abaixando ela com delicadeza por suas pernas. Observando o quão molhada a mesma de encontrava. Segurou o cacete de Harry, lambendo a glande. – Seu pau é enorme para um ômega, querido. Delicioso pra mim. – elogiou, sugando a glande pra dentro da boca, descendo pelo comprimento e levando até a garganta, mamando o pau dele igual fez nos peitos. Ele apertou a bunda de Harry entre os dedos, abrindo ela com as duas mãos, passando o dedo médio por entre as bandas, sentindo como ômega pingava lubrificação para si. Tirou o pau dele da boca, girando seus quadris e o deixando de costas. Abriu a bunda, olhando o cuzinho piscando, brilhando de tão melado. Se aproximou, sua respiração quente ali fazendo o ômega se arrepiar dos pés à cabeça. Ele lambeu, tomando sua lubrificação doce, sentindo o gosto frutado, como um bolo de creme branco e morangos. Gemeu contra, segurando com força a cintura do ômega e metendo a língua pra dentro do cuzinho, o lambendo esfomeado, o comendo com a língua. Harry segurava firme em seus cabelos e rebolava contra seu rosto, as pernas trêmulas e gemendo baixo.
- Alfa, por favor. – gemeu, levando os dedos até o cuzinho, ameaçando penetrar. – Não, não, não! – ele contraiu o buraquinho. – Posso ter só seu pau? Por favor alfa, me abre com ele. – choramingou.
- Como quiser, bebê. Você vai aguentar meu cacete no seu rabinho, hm? Sem preparação? – Louis deu um tapa fraco na bunda dele, o ouvindo gemer e seu corpo pular.
- Sim, prometo. – Assentiu, sentindo Louis o virar de frente para si de novo. Observou como seu rosto estava molhado, a barba brilhando numa mistura de leite e lubrificação. – Você tem proteção? – perguntou baixo.
- Tsc, Tsc, Tsc. – Louis negou com a cabeça, começando a abrir seu cinto. – Você não quer meus filhotes dentro de você, Harry? Que desrespeito, ômega. – repreendeu. – Eu quero encher você com meus filhotes. Que atitude feia a sua, rejeitando um alfa que foi tão bom com você esse tempo todo. – Louis abriu a braguilha, puxando o pau de dentro da cueca, punhetando lento enquanto olhava nos olhos do ômega.
- Você é tão grande, meu deus. – o ômega gemeu. – Me enche com seus filhotinhos, alfa. – falou choroso, os olhos fixos no pau dele pingando pré gozo. – Me desculpa por falar da camisinha, eu não queria mas achei que você sim, eu... – ele esfregou o rosto, confuso demais com todos os sentimentos que Louis lhe causava. - Pode colocar filhotinhos aqui, Lou. Por favor. – ele parecia desesperado por algo, acariciou a própria barriga, subindo até os próprios peitos, gemendo aliviado quando o leite saiu e deslizou por seu abdômen.

- Prometo ficar quieto, deixar você terminar o desenho e só então pedir pra você me foder de novo. – sorriu segurando em seu rosto, dando-lhe um selar breve.
- Ok. – Louis sorriu imenso, roubando um beijo de Harry antes de levantar. – Eu realmente machuquei você, né? – olhou para todas as feridas e o sangue seco nelas.
- E eu amei. – Harry disse, subindo sua calcinha por suas pernas. – Quero que me machuque mais vezes. – mordeu o lábio inferior, começando a colocar a camisa de volta no corpo.
- É? – Louis sentiu seu peito esquentar por um breve momento. – Achei que era um ômega sensível. – ele subiu as calças pelas pernas, fechando devidamente e fazendo o mesmo com o cinto.
- Sou o oposto. – estalou a língua no céu da boca. – Você realmente acha que bonito do jeito que eu sou, eu estaria solteiro com trinta e cinco anos? – Harry riu bem humorado, continuando a se vestir. – Eu sou o pavor dos alfas, Louis. Nunca chegam nem mesmo num limite que me faça gozar. – Harry sentou no sofá, colando os sapatos.
- Porque você é masoquista, bebê. – Louis riu, puxando ele pela cintura quando ele se levantou. – Que bom que ninguém te fez gozar como eu. – sorriu convencido, puxando o lábio inferior de Harry entre os dentes. – Também nunca aguentaram meu lobo completamente. Você foi o primeiro. – Admitiu.
- Eles são fracos. – Harry riu, beijando Louis mais uma vez. – Agora só falta ver se você não tem um caráter duvidoso e aí sim poderemos nos casar. – brincou  tirando uma gargalhada sincera dele.
- Quero eu ver se você não é um velho ranzinza. – provocou, apertando Harry contra si.
- Velho é seu cu, garoto. – Harry brigou, rindo junto com Louis.
- Eu tenho vinte anos e você trinta e cinco, vai dizer que você é o novinho da relação? – provocou mais sentindo Harry estapear seu braço.
- Louis eu mesmo vou cancelar sua bolsa! – Harry brigou, fazendo bico, dando seu máximo para não cair em gargalhada novamente.
- Oh gracinha, para. – Louis beijou sua bochecha. – Meu denguinho tá bravo comigo, é? Bicudinho mais lindo. – Louis distribuiu beijinhos por todo o rosto dele, descendo até o pescoço. – Você é igual vinho amor, só melhora com o tempo. Tenho certeza que vai ser gostoso até quando não tiver dentes pra chupar meu pau. – Louis riu, tirando a pose de Harry que riu até a barriga doer.
- Caralho você é muito idiota. – Harry abraçou o pescoço de Louis, que prontamente o beijou.
- Agora senta lá meu ômega, vai rapidinho pra eu poder acabar o desenho logo e foder você todo de novo. – Sussurrou em ouvido, apertando sua bunda.
- Você tem compromisso hoje depois daqui? – Harry perguntou manhoso.
- Não. Porque, bebê? – Louis respondeu, subindo a mão até sua cintura.
- A gente vai jantar e você vai pra minha casa, então. – disse como ordem, sem ao menos questionar.
- Você vai pelo menos pagar um jantar antes de me usar né, pelo menos isso. – Louis fez piada.
- Quero te mostrar como foder comigo enquanto eu posso gemer alto seu nome é muito melhor. – Harry mordeu o lábio inferior, olhando Louis com expectativa.
- A gente pode pular o jantar também. – sugeriu rindo. – Eu vou amar foder você mais uma vez, ômega. – disse sorrindo ladino, apertando a cintura dele entre os dedos. – Só não pede pra eu te marcar de novo... É demais pra mim.
- Talvez eu faça, só pra ver o que acontece. – Harry sorriu sapeca.
- Acontece você acordando com a minha marca. – Louis riu.
- E se eu quiser?
- A marca de alguém com quem você fodeu pela primeira vez hoje? Acho que você é maluco. – respondeu bem humorado, mas seu baixo ventre contraiu com a ideia de tomá-lo como seu.
- Você não quer que eu seja seu? – Harry arqueou uma sobrancelha.
- Você já é meu, Harry. – ele viu os olhos dele brilharem. – Não é? Todo meu. – disse mais uma vez, vendo o sorriso de Harry começar a se formar. – A marca é seria e eu só farei depois que minha mãe te conhecer. Até lá a gente se conhece e eu marco seu corpo todo toda vez que te foder. – disse, mordendo seu queixo. – Parece bom pra você?
- Ótimo, alfa. – Harry assentiu, hipnotizado pela dominância de Louis.
- Então sente pra eu te desenhar, bebê. Vou te foder contra a porta antes de voltar pra sala. – sorriu ladino, dando um tapa na bunda de Harry antes de ir até o sofá melado dos seus fluidos corporais, rindo com a bagunça que fizeram. Se sentou onde ainda estava limpo e pegou o sketchbook, vendo Harry ir aéreo até o sofá, voltando pra posição que nunca deveria ter abandonado. – Vai ser difícil pra caralho me concentrar com esse seu cheiro. – sorriu ladino, vendo Harry esfregar uma coxa na outra. – Mas já, cachorrinho? – Louis riu, olhando-o todo desesperadinho no sofá.
- Louis... – Harry chamou, o baixo ventre borbulhando de novo.
Louis riu nasalado, levantando e guardando seu material em sua bolsa, andando e parando do lado da porta de entrada da sala – Vem aqui. – mandou, esperando Harry ir, parando na sua frente, brincando com os anéis em suas mãos. Ele levou as mãos até sua calça e abriu de novo. – Coloca as mãos na porta e fica quietinho pra mim, sim? – pediu.
- Louis, todo mundo pode ouvir. – disse receoso.
- Por isso eu mandei ficar quieto. – ele sorriu ladino. – Faz o que eu mandei e empina seu rabo pra mim. – viu Harry umedecer seus lábios, fazendo o que ele mandou, abrindo bem as pernas. Louis segurou os lados da calça dele a baixou até as coxas junto com a calcinha, abrindo seu cinto e calça, puxando seu pau já duro pra fora. Ele passou os dedos no meio da bunda de Harry, sentindo ele pingando de novo para si. – Tá encharcado pra mim de novo, bebê. – Sussurrou em sua orelha, segurando seu pau e forçando pra dentro do cuzinho de novo, segurando firme em seu quadril. Harry gemeu alto e Louis grunhiu, levando sua m��o livre pra boca de Harry e a tapando, começando a se mover com força. Ele estocava com rapidez, sentindo Harry gemer contra sua mão. Com a outra ele se apoiou na porta, conseguindo equilíbrio pra manter o ritmo bruto que estabeleceu. – Você não sabe o quanto eu imaginei te foder contra essa porta, Harry. – segredou. Louis meteu mais forte segurando o quadril de Harry com força, gozando forte e o atando em seu nó. O ômega levou a mão pra barriga de novo, sorrindo aéreo.
- De novo. – falou manhoso. – Colocou mais filhotes aqui.
- Vou te encher de filhotes a noite toda, bebê. – Louis beijou seu pescoço, puxando o pau pra fora quando o nó desatou. Observou o cuzinho contraindo, a porra deslizando em suas coxas, a bunda num vermelho vivo de tanto se machucada pelo cinto que pendia em seu quadril. Ele puxou a calcinha e a calça dele pra cima, fechando, fazendo o mesmo consigo. Girou Harry pela cintura, beijando sua boca e o fazendo amolecer em seus braços de novo. – Não quero que ninguém entre aqui, seu cheiro está em toda parte. – ele disse sério. – E eu não gosto que sintam ou vejam o que é meu, ômega. Você entendeu? – ele viu Harry assentir devagar. – Ótimo, bebê. – ele se afastou, pegando sua bolsa e pendurando no ombro. – Eu termino o desenho na aula e te entrego à noite. – selou seus lábios.
- Como vai fazer se eu não estarei lá pra você me ver? – Harry questionou com um bico.
- Eu sou incapaz de esquecer qualquer traço seu, Harry. Decorei cada um deles. – Louis puxou o bico dele entre os dentes, dando um beijo amoroso antes de sair da sala, deixando um Harry aéreo e sorridente para trás.

Myths to Avoid When Writing Torture
Fiction makes, implicitly or explicitly, some kind of argument. A fictional portrayal of a guy simply going for a walk might make the argument that walking is a nice activity to do. This might not be a particularly earth-shattering message, but messages like this are implicit within the literary tools we use in how we portray characters, behavior, settings, and relationships. This underlying argument – a theme – is present in all of fiction. It’s why you’ll often see people make the statement that “all art is political”. And when it comes to torture – a subject which in and of itself has been the topic of political debate for millenia – how we approach the ideas and arguments made within fictional depictions of torture warrant, in my opinion, a degree of care. Torture isn’t just something that happens in movies. It is something that happens today, to real people, on a global scale. It’s not even particularly rare.
The difficulty with the subject of torture specifically is that for the past two decades, the public perception of torture has shifted on a global scale, seen most clearly in how torture is presented in contemporary media, fiction or otherwise. Everybody believes these myths. And getting indoctrinated into having reactionary takes on a topic is nobody’s fault, considering that almost every source outside of academia feeds you misinformation. But that’s, y’know, kinda why I made this blog: in the hopes that I might be able to get people to consider what ideas they’re presenting in their writing.
I want to start out by briefly reitorating some basics of how torture apologia typically works within political discussions, because this very much is relevant to how you can avoid accidentally sending the wrong message.
The first thing you need to understand is that the real-life debate surrounding torture isn’t framed in terms of whether or not torture is good or bad – everybody, including torturers themselves, will concede that it is bad. The more insidious argument is that torture is useful for achieving certain goals, and that it is therefore justified in extreme emergencies. Not only does this argument try to soften the usually rigid negative framing of torture in moral discussions, but it also seeks to poke holes in the international laws which ban the use of torture outright. It’s a moral, political and legal argument all wrapped up in one reactionary package. For this reason, having the theme of “torture is bad” doesn’t always mean a piece of writing isn’t making use of torture apologia. “Torture is useful” serves that goal just fine.
Torture is also often discussed in terms of civility – not the civility of the torturers, but the civility of the victims. It’s the argument that the people who are being tortured are bad people, and therefore don’t warrant the respect and dignity we usually offer to other human beings; they are so bad, essentially, that it’s fine for us civilized people to war crime them. Whenever I’ve encountered this argument, it has usually been presented in a way that was, shall we say, sussy as fuck – some even give up the pretense and straight up call their victims “savages” or “degenerates”. I hope I don’t need to explain why this line of thinking is insane, but in any case, it’s just my way of getting you to consider that a lot of the myths surrounding torture are rooted in broader sociopolitical issues, often racism and religious discrimination, and historically, most often within the context of colonialism.
With that in mind, let’s get into the myths, starting with the most obvious one.
"Torture for information works."
Every study I’ve read has concluded that torture is counterproductive when it comes to gathering intel from reluctant sources. Under severe pain or distress, victims are more focused on saying whatever they think the torturer wants to hear to make the torture stop, as opposed to providing accurate information. On a neurophysiological level, severe pain or distress actually interferes with the pathways of the brain relating to long- and short-term memory; this means that torture in and of itself is likely to destroy the very evidence it sets out to gather. Furthermore, victims are less likely to cooperate if subjected to physical abuse, including torture, and nothing in the infliction of pain itself works as some kind of truth serum. Lying and defiance are more likely under torture.
To a large minority of people, portraying torture as a reliable tool for gathering accurate information will make the implicit argument that torture, although usually bad, can hold utilitarian value in certain exceptional cases. I’ve written about this more in depth here.
"Under torture, everyone cooperates sooner or later."
French prosecutors used torture in the events leading up to the French revolution, as a way to gain forced confessions from suspects. Their failures and successes were jotted down, leading us with a pretty revealing insight – the highest success rate for gathering forced confessions was in Toulouse, an exceptionally high 14%. In Paris, only 3% of suspects cooperated long enough to sign their name – the rest did not. This is one of the primary reasons that the French criminal justice system eventually dropped using torture for intelligentsia. To quote Darius Rejali, who wrote The Book on torture: “Torture the clumsiest method available to organizations.”
So no, not everybody talks – in fact, rough estimate, 90% of torture victims never do. Defiance is by far the norm with torture.
"When the bad guy does it, it’s torture – when the good guy does it, it’s a tough, but morally justifiable decision."
The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Heroes of stories, especially in the action genre, often engage in the use of torture for information, usually following the framework of the ticking bomb scenario, a thought experiment based on the false notion that torture works as an interrogation method. Here, torture is turned into a heroicact, one that speaks to the toughness of the person who uses it. Ask yourself if you want to frame torturers though this lens – because if you do, you are literally justifying the act torture, and, y’know, you do you, but I am gonna call you stupid and reactionary. Torture done by a “good” person is just as abhorrent as torture done by anybody else.
"Some methods of torture are less severe than others."
This myth stems from governments trying to downplay the use of certain methods of torture, and usually goes hand in hand with euphemistic redefinitions of the concept, such as the CIA’s “enhanced interrogation methods,” also known as “torture lite,” or the Israeli “coercive interrogation.” The methods that have been proposed in this supposed less severe category of torture includes stimulated drowning, also known as waterboarding, as well as caning, beatings, limbs being broken with clubs, sleep deprivation, stress positions (ex. forcing a person to crouch against a wall for extended periods of time,) mock executions, sexual assault, and more. If these things all just sound like torture to you, it’s because they are. There is zero evidence to suggest that any torture methods, including those that leave no physical mark on the body, have less severe outcomes than those that do not – on the contrary, non-physical torture methods, including mock executions, or witnessing the torture of a loved one, have been ranked by victims as causing equal amounts of psychological distress as physical torture.
"Torture only causes harm to the person who is being tortured."
This is incredibly unrealistic. Torture is an act that is destructive in all directions, causing trauma to victims, their family, witnesses, and even torturers themselves. It disintegrates the structure of the organizations that use it, it breeds resentment and hatred in the communities around it, and it radicalizes people into extremism. Pretending that consequences like this don’t exist isn’t torture apologia per se, but if your aim is to show the realistic outcomes of torture, these are some of the things you need to consider.
Torture is portrayed as “scientific”; torturers are “skilled” in the “art” of torture.
The most common methods of torture in use today are: hitting people, sleep deprivation, and starvation. These don’t require a whole lot of brain power to conjure up, in fact the infliction of intense suffering is very straightforward. Human beings are full of nerves. Stick a knife anywhere, and I’d be more impressed if it didn’t cause pain.
Not to mention, portraying torture as “scientific” or something that “requires technical skill” makes the implicit argument that torture works for its intended use, here under the condition that you should at least do it right – which brings us right back to that utilitarian fallacy.
"Torturers are expert interrogators, and possess an extraordinary ability to detect lies in their victims."
Studies have been done on the ability of police officers to detect lies for about four decades now. The average person will have a 57% accuracy rate, meaning they’re barely better at spotting deception than a coin toss. For police officers, the highest estimate is around 65% - but it might also be as low as 45%, meaning they might be less accurate than a coin toss – even though police officers tend to think of themselves as exceptional at spotting deception. The same trend is seen in torturers.
In fact, this myth in particular originated from torturers’ accounts of how they conceptualize themselves, which is not only false, but also cringe. When an interrogator starts making use of torture, their focus tends to shift away from gathering reliable information, and more towards “perfecting” the infliction of pain, which means that over time, those interrogative skills are substantially degraded – they are terrible interrogators. So torturers are no better at spotting lies than your average person; they might actually be worse. They can’t read minds, and they don’t possess some secret mystical knowledge about the psychology of their victims.
"You can train someone to resist torture."
Loads of intelligence agencies and revolutionary groups around the world have published material that supposedly serves as manuals for resisting torture, but the truth is, torture is so extreme, there really is no way to prepare or train someone to “resist” it; this is something that even the CIA has acknowledged. Everybody’s reaction to pain will be different. There is no way to predict how torture will affect anyone, much less give them instructions beforehand that will somehow magically negate those effects.
"Brainwashing through torture works."
Torturers can’t change the emotional framework of a person through the infliction of pain. They cannot change the strongly held beliefs and opinions held by their victims through the infliction of pain. They can’t erase someone’s entire personality or make them a ‘blank slate’ through the infliction of pain. They can’t predict how a victim responds to torture, much less direct that response to their own benefit. This is not how pain works.
This is not only an implicit argument for the usefulness of torture to change someone’s behavior or force religious conversions, but the myth that torturers have some form of control of their victims even after the torture has ended is also used in real life to paint survivors as dangerous or unstable, and thereby bar them from treatment and aid, and even to allow access into countries to escape the circumstances that facilitated their torture in the first place. That last point is why you often see the advocacy of refugee rights in organizations that work to prevent torture; these two branches of activism have a huge overlap.
Torture victims cannot be controlled by their torturers. Brainwashing isn’t real.
"Stockholm syndrome is real."
This is a derivative of the brainwashing myth, which means all the connotations previously mentioned remain, but as a cherry on top, Stockholm syndrome as a trope can also serve as an implicit argument for the utility of domestic abuse. So that’s cool.
If you deliberately inflict suffering on someone, that is guaranteed to make that person dislike you. In real life, torture survivors not only tend to be extremely resentful of their torturers, but they also tend to be resentful of anyone belonging to the same demographic as their torturers, whether that be ethnicity, nationality, or even gender or general appearance. Like I said, torture radicalizes people.
"Torture makes people obedient."
Any physical abuse or neglect, including bad cell conditions, access to medical aid, decent food and clean water, is likely to breed resentment in victims and makes them far more reluctant to cooperate with their aggressors. With torture, defiance is the norm, by far. You saw this on a larger scale in the war on terror, for example – turns out that carpet bombing a country to deter terrorism only radicalizes the civilian population, producing more terrorists. No form of violence exists that will make a person particularly eager to shut up and do what you want them to do. It will just make them hate you.
The notion that torture makes people obedient is also an implicit argument for the use of corporal punishment or as crime deterrence, something that along with capital punishment has repeatedly been proven false by sociological studies. People just do not function like this. If you want to create obedience in your story – violence is the last thing you should use.
"People “break” under torture."
Victims of torture sometimes make the conscious decision to do what their torturer wants them to do, and this often serves as a means to buy enough time to plan an escape, or mount up whatever act of defiance they can manage. Sometimes they simply do it to get the torture to stop – this, too, is a tough, conscious decision. If you want to consider this a form of “breaking”, by all means go ahead, but implying personal weakness or lack of willpower in torture victims rubs me the wrong way. I personally see it as a rational choice made by a person who is in an otherwise impossible situation.
"Torture survivors are “broken”."
Torture certainly can lead to extreme psychological distress, but again, the term “broken” here implicitly makes the argument that torture victims simply lacked the mental fortitude to withstand their trauma. In my opinion, there’s a certain degree of victim blaming involved with framing torture survivors in this way, and certainly, it’s a framing that inherently strips away their agency.
Another thing that rubs me the wrong way is the fact “brokenness” implies a degree of permanence and rigidity to human beings that simply isn’t there, as if we are solid objects that, once shattered, can never regain the function we once had. It’s a nitpick, but I view people as organic things, capable of healing and growth – not as glassware.
Conclusion
I’d wager that while reading this, a good portion of you recognized some of these myths from depictions of torture in fiction; that’s not particularly surprising to me. These myths aren’t just widespread, they’ve been engrained in the global public perception of torture by decades of political debate and government propaganda, and as a result, have seeped into popular culture.
Torture isn’t rare, and neither is torture apologia. According to Amnesty International, 31% of the global population believes that torture is justified “in some cases”; as of 2014, AI had also reported on torture or other ill treatment in 141 different countries, despite the fact that torture is internationally recognized as a war crime.
In an ideal world, the subject of torture in fiction is treated with the same due diligence with which we have learned to portray subjects like homophobia, sexual assault, and racism; because, to be fair, all of these things have the capacity to intersect, and very often do. The first step in that regard is to spread awareness about how torture actually functions, which is what I hope to slowly start doing on this blog. At the very least, I hope I can make people more aware of how they choose to portray torture in their writing.

Estava morrendo, a festa da noite anterior tinha custado para si mais do que imaginava, e ainda estava com a cabeça cheia pelo que havia encontrado em sua cama mais cedo, mas faltar aos treinos como fizera no passado estava absolutamente fora de questão, aquele era o seu objetivo principal, e se algum doido estava pensando que iria desvia-lo da coisa que mais queria estava completamente enganado. O treino, no entanto, não tinha rendido tanto quanto gostaria, todos os seus rapazes estavam fora de forma por conta da festa, e Jacob, seu melhor jogador, nem mesmo tinha aparecido. O sol estava escaldante aquele dia, o treinador tinha acabado de pedir cinco minutos para que pudessem se hidratar, quando o barulho do alto falante ecoou por todo o campo, fazendo os jogadores e outros estudantes que utilizavam a arquibancada ficarem em alerta. A voz de Jawie invadiu os ouvidos de todos, que ouviram com atenção todas as atrocidades que ele havia falado. Theo congelou onde estava, mas o que aquele doido estava fazendo? Que diabos estava acontecendo com aquele dia? Seria possível que a festa ontem tivesse bagunçado as coisas mais do que seria possível? Theo encarou o chão no final do discurso do garoto quando o mesmo citou seu nome, eu vou te matar, Jawie, pensou, como se já não tivesse motivos o suficiente para o fazer. Logo em seguida a voz do reitor ecoou, é claro que ele trabalharia o mais rápido possível para tentar consertar as coisas, e foi o que fez. No entanto algumas coisas preocuparam Theodore, a primeira é que eles pegaram o Jawie e não fazia ideia do que o atrevimento dele poderia causar e qual seria a retaliação por tal abuso, a outra é que agora as coisas estavam ainda mais difíceis com os seguranças da Merryweather rondando o campus. Assim que a transmissão do reitor se encerrou, Theodore afastou-se rapidamente dos colegas, correndo pelo campo e ignorando os protestos do treinador e indo até a pessoa que havia avistado de longe. - Você também ouviu isso, não ouviu? Acha que eles podem fazer alguma coisa com o Jawie? - Perguntou, mais preocupado com o rapaz do que gostaria.
