Yugure ni, Te wo Tsunagu(Hold my Hand at Twilight)

A heartwarming drama of two young people finding there place in this world. This drama is a breathe of fresh air and the cinematography is perfect. The main leads are two polar opposites. Soramame has an outspoken personality.She moved to Tokyo hoping to marry an old friend only to found out that her fiancee already found someone else. She was completely devastated and she met Oto in one of the most heartbreaking moments in her life.

Meanwhile Oto is a calm and reserved young guy. He was writing songs but has yet to make a breakthrough. Suddenly with a turn of events they started living under the same roof and with the guidance of Ms.Kyoko they started achieving their dreams together.

Oto later succeeded in his career and was now a famous singer. They parted ways and both worked hard in their individual careers. Years later they met again and confessed their feelings for each other. I was getting a friendly vibe between them. It was a slow burn romance and their interactions were very natural.

Soramame decided to stay and pursue her goal to become a fashion designer. She inherited her parent's genes and has a remarkable talent like her mother. However when her mother abandoned her it left a scar on her heart.But soon reunited with her when she went to Tokyo.

Suzu Hirose has undeniably one of the prettiest faces in the industry and she pulled off her character so well being so goofy and straightforward. Ren Nagase suits his character so well and the first drama I've seen him in.I really love the soundtrack of this drama.

言うなれば令和日本の拗らせ男子版『ファイト・クラブ』‼️

消費社会やシステムへの反動、自分の中の自分の力を暴力的にまで描いた『ファイト・クラブ』と比べて、かなり内省的かつ中2病的要素が基軸で、正直パンチは弱いです���

しかしこれはこれで実は結構面白いこと描いてる😮

本作は、システムに取り込まれた人々はクソなのではなく、実はその中で皆いろんなこと感じ各々の人生を自分と異なる価値観で生きていると理解するというファイト・クラブと異なる現代の着地を試みてるように僕には見えました💨

しかしそこを盛り上げポイントに出来てない気がして惜しいと思うんです😓

独特なスピード感のパンを多用したり、室内を異空間のような見せ方で捉える映像センスは面白いです🌟

ただテンポが悪いというか、メリハリが弱いというか、面白い展開や感情が乗りそうな部分の強調の仕方が弱いのが難という印象でした💦

悪くは無いし、僕自身話の内容は結構好きなんですけどね😅

やろうとしてることは面白いんだけど、映画の出来がイマイチなのと、いろいろ飛躍し過ぎなので『ファイト・クラブ』のようなパワーは無い💦

逆これ見ると『ファイト・クラブ』がいかにヤバい映画だったかを改めて実感💨

本作しか観たことない人は是非観て欲しい、ビビると思う💨
