How did you decide which characters would be gender selectable vs fixed? That’s always been so fascinating to me!!

I actually couldn't decide 😅 I knew I wanted to have an even amount of gender ROs and needed 1 more boy and 1 more girl. But I couldn't decide: did I want to stick with writing Vivian or explore Vincent? Did I want R to be the rebellious bad boy or bad girl?

So I didn't decide! I wanted to write both versions of those characters 😄 and here we are. Overwhelmed lololololol

I initially had the silly idea of having all the cisgender ROs be gender selectable. Then I started learning how to code this shit and realized that was NOT going to happen 😆 I still kind of love the idea of f!Gabe, f!Jack, and gender-swapped Emersons... but it was scrapped way before it was ever serious. Nothing about personality would have changed, but too many backstories and childhoods needed to be assessed and changed depending on gender. Like, fascinating stuff that I would love to write and explore — but it's just too much writing. There's a whole crime plot waiting on me!

Like, the childhood Gabe had would spit f!Gabe out quite differently... I kinda don't wanna think about it 😐 since I won't commit to writing it anyway. m!Jessie's childhood would be super different from a spiritual standpoint... f!Jack would be under a lot of pressure from her dad's side of the family to fit in and be popular... The Emersons would have to be completely — just completely rewritten oh my gosh. This I actually do kinda wanna explore on my own 'cause I think it'll give me a fuller read on their parents. Plus, how does m!Heidi's character develop since his dad actually gives a shit what he does and invests in his future?? What's a f!Curt like with basically no familial attention and oversight??? I have no idea but I kind of want to!! 🤣

IN MY ERAS ERA ~

It was rare, I WAS THERE. I went to the biggest tour in music history, yes! I attended night 2 (in the pit) and night 4 (tribunes) in Paris. Honestly, there is no word to even describe the experience it was. I'm a concert girlie and there is nothing that can even come close to The Eras Tour. It's not just the concert itself but the whole experience : the friendship bracelets trading (warning : can be quite difficult for introverts!), the outfits... I can say it was, hands down, the best concert I've ever attended. The icing on the cake was literally Paramore being the opener! My inner teen was so happy, even more when they sung Decode on night 4.

So for the nail art, I decided to do the album artworks for 5 Taylor Swift's albums. I like when my 2 hands are symmetric so I did the 5 same albums on my 2 hands. I really tried to reproduce the typo used for each artwork. I think I did quite a good job. I especially like the rep one. At first, I wanted to do a friendship bracelets nail art but I miserably failed so... lol.

For the concert, I did the Reputation and Lover eras for my outfit but if I have to do a top 3 of my favorite albums I would say : 1989, Reputation and Folklore. The order is just chronological because honestly I would be unable to really rank them lol.

okay it’s canon now. acau miles gets into BVA when he’s 13 like usual, and before he gets bitten/taken, and he spends his weeks at the school and his weekends at home since he knows Aaron isn’t around that much anyway right now, and that gives him more space to be spidery in peace. He has his own room (little bribery thanks to Aaron) (don’t tell Miles) but starts to share a room with Judge and Ganke by the time he’s 16 because he’s starting to like them + Aaron thinks he needs it to socially develop. He’s good at hiding his spidery-ness when he doesn’t go out at night but has to be in the dorm; he plays it off as being extremely cranky/unpleasant when he’s tired so people don’t try and wake him up or bother him. very effective!!

overall he’s a good student, just lonely, and is made fun of behind his back a little by some students and staff, but they won’t do anything outright and to his face. it’s not a good look for them to be picking on the deaf + mute kid with one arm who is actually a pretty pleasant person

Just finished a (kinda fantasy) historical romance and loved the main pairing and what tickled me was how enthusiastic the bloke that had been in the closet was about being in love and about his boyfriend (who'd had gay affairs and knew how careful they had to be).

Basically this was them:
