Personal History:

Sareni was born to Gateni Yaeldrin of the Hyrulean royal guard and Saryfel, a sky dragon with a lair somewhere between Gerudo and western Hyrule. Gateni and Saryfel agreed it was best if she stayed with Saryfel in his lair, that she would be safe from the enemies Gateni might have in greater Hyrule. However, in the name of safety, Saryfel rarely took Sareni out to socialize, and though Sareni has read a number of books thanks to growing up with her father’s hoard, she became quite sheltered, and remains so to this day, even a hundred years after the calamity.

Confident when she does speak, but she often speaks nonsense. Charismatic nonsense.

Eloquent thanks to many hours of practice reading speeches and stories and historical documents aloud to her father.

It's really embarrassing for me, actually,' she continued in a fit of giggles. She was not embarrassed at all actually, but surely... Archer was about to be.

"It had to have been, like, your senior year, you were so much older than us, but I'm pretty sure you were the kid all the kindergarten girls used to chase around during lunch or after school trying to touch you or whatever,' Na'el shrugged, holding her hands up as if she couldn't be held accountable for her actions at that age. "What an inappropriate age gap... what the fuck?" — Na'el rolled her eyes playfully. She scanned quickly for a ring on his finger, and when it came up empty, Na'el twirled her hair in an obvious, playfully girlish way. "Don't worry though. I have on heels. I won't chase you tonight, unless you like to be chased, then...' she looked down at her pedicure and looked back at the man with a blushing smile, shaking her head. No, she wouldn't be chasing him.

BIO:

Gunnar was the illegitimate son of the Celestial Ego, a god, and the Asgardian Gyda, a former shield-maiden forced to retire due to a shoulder injury. Gunnar grew up hearing stories of Valhalla, frequently asking his mother to train him with the hopes that one day he would be worthy of entering Odin's hall.

Gyda worked as an apothecary, which had been her occupation ever since her shield-maiden days were over, and she was working when Gunnar, wandering the woods, was approached by Ego. He introduced himself to his son, and Gunnar, desperate to connect with his father, allowed Ego to take him to his planet.

BIO:

Haldis was the illegitimate daughter of the Celestial Ego, a god, and Hyrja, a storm giant and tavern owner at Skornheim. From a young age, Haldis possessed a very extroverted personality. She was a natural leader and a quick learner, helping her mother at the tavern or studying the blade with her uncle Hundr, a blacksmith. Despite being mocked by the other storm giants for her relatively small size, Haldis was confident and self-assured.

One evening, Haldis was at Hundr's smithy with her uncle when someone came looking for her. He introduced himself as Ego, father of Haldis, and Hundr gave his niece permission to go with him. Despite her initial anger and resentment toward him, Haldis followed Ego to his planet.

BIO:

Sune was the illegitimate son of the Celestial Ego, a god, and Svana, a scribe and spakona (seeress) of Vanaheim. Moments after giving birth to Sune, Svana had a vision of something terrible happening to her son. She couldn't tell exactly what it was, but the vision left her shattered and unable to look after herself, let alone after Sune. Because of this, Sune was raised by his grandmother, Saga, whose old age had caused her own visions to recede.

Sune was an energetic, fun-loving child; he liked laughing and making people laugh. One day, Saga had gone to buy some food, and Sune was home alone when he heard a knock. He opened the door to reveal a visitor, one who introduced himself as Sune's father. Ego claimed that the beauty of his planet was greater than the beauty of Vanaheim; Sune did not believe him, and when Ego invited him to come to his planet and see for himself, Sune accepted.

FACE CLAIM: Raffey Cassidy.

BIO:

Norhild was the illegitimate daughter of the Celestial Ego, a god, and Nefja, a warrior of Jötunheim. Norhild was small for a frost giant, and because of this, the others believed she had no place in their society and should be left to die; Nefja kept her regardless, raising her alone and away from prying eyes. Norhild rarely interacted with other frost giants besides her mother, which caused her to have a rather reserved, quiet demeanor.

Nefja would regret keeping the child when Norhild started claiming she could hear the stars whispering to her. Nefja was considering abandoning her daughter when Norhild's father, Ego, returned to Jötunheim and offered to take care of Norhild instead. Norhild did not like the idea of going with him, but she didn't want to be alone, and that same night, Ego took her to his planet.

While there are more realms in Norse mythology and therefore more Celestial/Norse children, I added the ones Mantis actually got to know. The others were already in the caverns by the time Mantis was born.

There is a child of Ego from Midgard and that is Peter Quill.

Hello! Sorry it's been an age! I'm intending to come back properly soon but am putting out this notice that I will be dropping some threads to clear the drafts. I haven't gone through them yet but by the numbers alone I want to cut everything back down to make them more manageable. I'll message where I can to inform people, but some drafts I know are ancient even by this blogs standards.

Additionally, I am dropping a handful of muses and replacing them with a short list of others.

Crowley, Thranduil, Bilbo and House will all be retired.

There are of course very controversial muses in that little list with upsetting themes, ideologies and are genuinely quite awful in both their settings and personalities. Especially Candie who I anticipate will be a very upsetting muse to find on the dash for those not expecting him.

A list of character tags is under the improved and updated pinned post on the blog so they can be blakclisted as needed if you wish to continue following but do not want to see specific characters on the dash.

None of them reflect my views, beliefs or any such sort. I don't agree with them nor do I idolise them but as villains go well I apparently prefer them as the worst.

Im horrible about rewriting summaries, but the second one is easy enough to answer I think? A good deal of my fics complies with my Human Perry lore, where Perry is the brother of Lawrence's first--late--wife, meaning he's Ferb's uncle on his bio mom's side. They (I mean Perry and his sister) were taken into the Fletcher fold after they got together, which is why I put "Fletcher" as Perry's last name.

I mention her death off-handedly in When We Didn't Get Along, and Perry's relation to Lawrence in one line in Wedding Adventure (Part 1). In Don't Need a Dictionary, there is also a small mention of how Perry's very new to the states. It's an AU of an AU, but it mentions how Perry spent most of his childhood prior to graduation in Australia, before moving to live with Reginald in London after his sister's marriage to Lawrence. Meaning his ASL is--if not choppy--less fluent than his Auslan and BSL.

I mention the sign language thing also in You Snuck Your Way Right Into My Heart, where Heinz's familiarity with sign language was mostly through DGS (German sign language), and Perry notes with humor that even his ASL had a "strong german accent".

All of this said, the fic with arguably the most specialized lore was I think Lunch Break, that takes place post MML. It takes place in a not so distant future where Heinz becomes Professor Time, and Time Industries become an established organization dealing with Time Travel. I muse myself with the idea that that the Beurau of Time Travel (BOTT) was an authoritarian subset of Time Industries preserving the time stream, naturally managed by Perry, who's retired from OWCA just for Heinz to elect as CEO of BOTT. That made sense to me, since Perry has experience dealing and managing these sorts of organizations, and he was one of T.I's biggest shareholders. There are a few fun mentions of the shared mml and pnf cast, as well as some other made up things like renaming the Time Juice "Huronium" and the establishment of the UIT (Unified Intergalactic Treaty). I recommend my fellow Dwampyverse heads to check it out!

2- Who was your first muse?

The honest answer is I can't remember. I had PLENTY that I dabbled in, in the way many of us who RPed as kids did. I LARPed warrior cats and wolves and WW2 soldiers on the playground like any self-respecting ND freak. My friends were making grass soup to feed their starving children and I was out killing men with my bare hands and being five steps removed from a furry.

The first muse I spent TIME on, the first muse I poured EFFORT into, was John Constantine, who I spent 12+ years writing, exploring, and crafting based on Constantine 2005 (a damn good film, do NOT try me) and Hellblazer. I have nothing good to say about mainline DC canon these days for him and I don't give a fuck about the DC TV shows either.

The reality is, he was exhausting emotionally and toxic RP partners eventually ruined the joy I found with him. I retired him permanently many, many years ago and I will not be bringing him back. I love to see how many people now write him, as I was literally the only option in town for my entire time bringing the bastard of Liverpool to life.

12- Have you any old muses that you'd love to bring back?

Eka Iskandar, an older OC of mine. I love him, I love his concepts, but I want nothing to do with all the old lore and storylines that ultimately made me not want to write him anymore. They're stale, typical urban fantasy and I'm over that, same way I got tired of my Constantine. I'd do a burnt earth situation and erase all canon for him to start fresh if I were to write him again. The linked bio is old, so please pardon typos or poor writing.

14- Who is an author that inspires you?

You cannot understand me without reading a little bit of Victor Pelevin, I think. Luckily for you English speakers (losers. jk.), his work's available in translation pretty easily.

16- Favorite trope?

I Don't Care That The Narrative Wants Me Dead.

It's more than a fix-it fic. It's WORSE. I make them WORSE. I embrace what the narrative wanted me to condemn, and baby, we fucking THRIVE together.

Bio

A retired construction contractor. Now a stay at home spouse after he sold his construction company due to his disease's progression. A self-proclaimed farmer and an occasional hunter

Was born in Birmingham before his family moved to Seattle when he was 12.

The Abrams family had 4 children and Simeon was the 2nd eldest.

Started a small construction company with his friend after they finished trade school. Over the years the company grew into a decently sized one though he sold his share to his friend before moving to Marrow with his husband due to various circumstances.

Met his husband in the ER after an on-site accident, it was love at first sight for him.

Was diagnosed with a genetic disease that affects his eyesight around 2 years ago. The doctors told him as it progresses he will eventually lose his sight.

He took the diagnosis pretty hard though he tried to not let it show. Then the malpractice incident happened which jeopardized his husband's career. Simeon then suggested that the two of them move to Ian's hometown for a new start. 

He sold his share of the company to fund their new life and they took almost a month-long cross country road trip to Marrow, hoping to cheer Ian up a little.

Had been staying in the town for a few months before his death.

Headcanons

Handy with his hands. Can often be found carving small animal figures out of wood whenever he’s free. Mostly carving cat figures.

Made decorative wedding ducks out of wood as one of the marriage gifts for his spouse. The ducks usually face each other but whenever he’s sulking he’ll turn his duck to face the other way

Installed solar panels to power their house and built their greenhouse by himself 

He has an easy going personality so he'd often offer to help his neighbors whenever they need TLCs around their houses. Kind of like an unofficial handyman of Marrow 

Was planning to raise some chickens when spring comes but well, he died lol

They at first had one stray cat that suddenly came to their house and wouldn't leave so he asked to keep the cat. Turned out it was pregnant and they ended up keeping all 3 kittens along with the mom cat

Lowkey a budding alcoholic which sparked an argument with his husband on the day of his death

Someone he befriends when he moved to the marrow. One of the neighbors he's closest with. Be prepared for him randomly showing up on your door step with some food because he's terrible at portioning things and always ends up making more than two people can handle

Drinking buddies? Don't tell his husband that he's drinking though

An old friend? Maybe your muse and him hit it off during college and meet each other again. Should be around at most 1-4 years younger/older than him but preferably the same age

One of his siblings?? You heard the news of your brother's passing and either for some reason stayed around the town even after his funeral ceremony was over or came back to marrow when you heard he returned back to life. You swore you've helped carried his casket and buried him but there he was, smiling at you just the same like the two of you were children again

I imagine they would just be two friends growing parallel to each other, since probably in the time that shuji's retired and restarted her career, Rou Rou's gotten divorced and started her own shop.

One day, a Gerudo sentinel of the name Dalal Attar was on a scouting mission, and in this mission found a flame dragon buried under a rockslide, and a single dragon egg not far off. Dalal knew this egg would have very slim odds of survival on its own, and so scooped it up and brought it to her wife, a Hyrulean royal guardsman of the name Bryn Llwyd. Bryn and Dalal had a near nonexistent time to search for a home for this egg before it hatched, and the hatchling imprinted on them. They named the hatchling Ragna, and reluctantly chose to look after her– though the reluctance did not last, as both became quickly besotted with the child. Hatched in the days well before the calamity devastated Hyrule, Ragna has known joy just as well as she has known gripping sorrow and heart-stopping pain.
