Just A Prank Bro
"What are those squishy noises I hear in the background, Doctor Zayne?" You furrowed your eyebrows, focusing on the wet sounds echoing faintly into your ear. It sounded like someone was prodding into some thick plastic— or maybe it was flesh.
A gentle and cringing squeak caught your attention. Must've been wheels rolling on the tiles. And if you focused a little harder, you could make out a soft and rhythimic beeping from the call. That sound must've come from a monitor.
Was he attending to a patient?
"I'm holding a kidney right now." Zayne answered coolly, emphasizing it as he brought the squishy thing closer to the phone. And squeezed it.
Your eyes blew wide open as you flinched back from the screen with shock, and a bit of concern. And a bit unnerving.
"Th-That sounds..." You hesitated, but shook your head firmly and cleared your throat awkwardly, "You know what nevermind. You sound pretty busy and I don't wanna disturb your work. I'll call you later, Zayne!" You quickly hung up on him.
Zayne on the other hand, stared at the end call screen where a picture of your lovely face was displayed on his phone wallpaper.
He stifled a dry chuckle and smiled. A ruined small slice of orange in his gloved hand.
The little girl on the bed stared up at the doctor throughout the whole conversation. A blood bag hanging beside her with a small tube connected to her arm.
"Why'd you crushed it?" She pointed at the squished remains of the small piece of orange in his hand.
"Just proving a point." He added smoothly in a sly tone.
🙈
I don't think he'd risk taking a phone call while he was doing surgery buuuuuttt he can be a very convincing actor. Based on this! 👇 @pumpkin-patch-cat tq op for tickling my 🧠 lol

Okay but imagine this:
Remus wrote ‘sex on fire’ (Kings of Leon) for Sirius but didn’t show it to him before they performed it. He only taught Sirius the beat to the drums, leaving him oblivious to the song’s lyrics.
they’re on stage, opening night of their first tour, and Remus shouts, “good evening, London! We have a treat for you, and a treat for Sirius.” A cheeky grin appeared on his face as the crowd cheered and gasped. James sent a knowing smile towards Remus as he played the opening riff on his electric guitar. Sirius later joined in, rattling the arena’s stage with his drumming skills. Remus, bass guitar in hand, walking up to the microphone; he took a deep breath before starting, “lay where you’re laying, don’t make a sound.” His fingers strumming the beats meticulously, never missing a beat.
When Remus finally reached the chorus, the drum’s beats were bouncing off the walls, the electric guitar was playing rhythimically, and James’ vocals adding to the lyrics. His voice finally rang out, “you, your sex is on fire!”
And as you can probably imagine, Sirius was flustered to his core; His whole face was a rosy pink. But even then, he looked absolutely stunning in Remus’ eyes.

A non musician analysed Kierans themes. Part 1
Alrigth, if you know me that much, you know that alongside my obsession whit writing and fanfic and reading, I am a music fan and a videogame ost sucker.
I love to find narratives in music despite the only music concept I actually know is the leitmotiv. I'll probably just point out things you already know , but this is a good procrastination to avoid write a little.
Come whit me in this journey
Kieran's first battle theme
youtube
The two leitmotifs this "medieval " banger has actually pop up in the first 5 seconds we hear.
Leitmotivs
1- The first thing we hear are some fast notes that get played in a synth. This is at least for me a leitmotif since last battlr chanpion battle have a similar start that uses the same notes just re-organized.
This one migth simblize hus anxiety, at least 4 me, since its a fast and ascending thing
2- After that we got met whit a violin, that starts playing an intro melody, this one is also a leitmotiv since we can hear the same exact melody in "Kierans rage" and some times later.
This one represents hia joy or and passion of battling at least 4 me
Things worth pointing out
There are some things I find interesting overall due to the stage of the characther when he battles using this theme.
1- Also if we check Carmine's theme we hear how it starts whit this exactly same way, the first aynth notes are exactly the same and then the exact following violin melody its played except its played in a synth, in a sligthly slowet tempo and another tone
I find interesting how we hear Carmine's theme first, what makes this "Kieran is under Carmine's shadow" thing even more evident. We will think "Kieran's theme starts like Carmine's" and not "Carmine's theme starts like Kieran's"
The similarities make sense since this is the Kieran that's under Carmine's shadow the most. He starts pullin her away and that's when the similarities start to fade
Afther that the rest of his themes doenst start up exactly like Carmine's, and the 2nd leit motiv i pointed out its just used again in the champion theme
2- I cant help but find this theme so medieval like, so fairytaily like. If you tell me this is a battle ost for a Dungeons and Dragons like game, I would buy it completely. You can imagine the goblings, gremlings, dwarfs and obviouslythe ogres. I dont know exactly if its the instruments choice or the melody building but I can't help but notice it
All the characther lore is based on his love for "fantastic stories" , Kitakami folklore and the ogre. This is just accurate. The flute alongside the violin feel like just the rigth option to bring me that fairyteily feeling
3- Well, I also can't help but notice haow alongside fantasyous, it feel heroic. The xilophone? giving the cheerful rhythim Alongiside the flute for the higthest tones, the piano for deepnes and the epic sounding violin make this feel like following the story of some sort of knigth.
By example: 0:36. (Or the chorus) sounds kknda almigthy
He thinks he can be the hero in the story. And damm that feeling is potrayed in the sound and tome of the song.
4- I would also like to point out how the violin takes all the stage, that could be seenn as something that just fits due to the medieval and heroic demenaurs. But the final outcomes and portrayals of the instrument in the later themes makes me want to point it out as something deeper.
Taking in mind how the violin turns put it could simbolize how he sees the MC or the ogre. You can see how the insttument sounds heroic epic and hopefull in this theme. And considering how he looks up yo both the oc and ogerpon makes it so interesnting
I Hope you enjoyed this! In no-that-much time I'll bring ya the one for the two themes left. Im lookin foward to the champion theme as its the more juicy to analyse
I was avoyt to make all the analysis in one huge poat but seeing how this one is already big that shit would be so so big and messy
This is also a good way to make it out for my lack of content this time since my one shot came out a month and half ago
Sorry 4 that! Im not goung thru a good headspace to write so i do t wanna rush it. And making this things in the meanwhile so you dont miss me is also enjoyable!

A scene involving baby Lulu.
Afonso looking for the strange little boy that had been spying on him and would run away whenever he came closer. He gets deep into the forest and stops when he sees a vine placed horizontally. He chuckles at it
"oh wow, let me guess, once I stumble on this something will hit me right? Nice try kid." He avoids the vine and takes a few more steps before falling in a hole covered by foliage, luckily the only thing that gets hurt is his ego.
He looks up and there's a little head watching him from above. Alright, maybe the kid is smart enough.
Afonso looks up at the little face peeking from above.
"Olá, amiguinho. You have trapped me, fair and square."
The little boy remains where he is, Afonso can see the tip of a spear on his hand.
Afonso sits down on the hole, his pistol secured and hidden around his waist just in case. He stares at the little boy and smiles.
"So... what now? Are you going to stab me? Take me prisoner? Or wait until my strengh gives out?"
The little head frowns but remains silent and still, brown eyes fixed on Afonso's face.
"While you decide what to do, do you mind if I sing a little?"
Since the little boy remains quiet, Afonso starts singing.
"Ó malhão, malhão, *clap clap clap*
que vida é a tua? *clap clap clap*
Ó malhão, malhão, *clap clap clap*
que vida é a tua? *clap clap clap*
Comer e beber, ó terrim, tim, tim,
passear na rua. *clap clap clap*
Comer e beber, ó terrim, tim, tim,
passear na rua." *clap clap clap*
With the last clap, Afonso realized the little boy had clapped along with him and was now waiting having figured the song's rhythim.
Afonso sang the rest of the song and the little boy clapped along with him, first with a very serious expression on his face and then with anticipation.
As the song ended, he stared at Afonso expectantly. Could it be that he was sad the song was finished?
Afonso never had time to ask because the sounds of his men grew closer and the little boy gasped before disappearing back into the forest. As they pulled Afonso out of the hole, the older tan looked at the trees, wondering if his amiguinho was watching.

F/M/M - 28 [ Zhongli + Alhaitham ]
Smut meme: F/M/M Edition | 28

It must feel either like heaven or extremely overstimulating to have two well-endowed men burying themselves inside her holes, stretching her out as they thrust hard and fast.
“Such a good girl.” Zhongli said, holding onto her thighs from behind as he buried his face in the back of her neck, caressing her soft skin in rhythim with the thrusting from both men.
“How many more can you take?” Alhaitham questioned. “You have both of us fulling you up to the brim.”

Today's compilation:
Best of House Music Volume 3: House Music All Night Long 1990 House / Garage House / Techno
Here's New York label Profile Records continuing apace with this third installment in their landmark Best of House Music series, whose 1990 release ended up following on the heels of what had been house's biggest commercial achievement in America up until that point, Madonna's "Vogue," which surged as that year's undisputed song of the summer, just after Technotronic's "Pump Up the Jam" had taken the world by storm too.
And speaking of "Pump Up the Jam," I guess the best place to start with this album then is its opening track, which is the all-time hip-house classic of "I'll House You" by the Jungle Brothers, a song that lends itself to this very album's own House Music All Night Long subtitle and also utilizes the same iconic sharp bit of string off of Chicago legend Marshall Jefferson's own early house classic, "Move Your Body (House Music Anthem)," that Jo Bogaert of Technotronic would use for his own Belgian group's goofy, world-changing, signature hit too.
But here's the thing about "I'll House You": it's essentially just a song in which the Jungle Brothers rapped over an already previously released house track, Todd Terry's "Can You Party?" which he issued as Black Riot, and you can find on Volume 2 of this same series. Plus, you can also find that Marshall Jefferson song that Terry and Bogaert sampled from on Volume 1 as well. And then in addition to all of that, "I'll House You" would also later get famously sampled by UK group 2 Bad Mice for their highly popular breakbeat hardcore "Bombscare '94" remix too.
(Note, however, that the version of "I'll House You" that's on this album is actually a remix by the great Richie Rich, who founded UK rap label Gee Street Records and also released an exceptional piece of Latin house in 1989 called "Salsa House" too.)
Feel the house music steady, steady poundin'!
Something else worth mentioning here is how much early Detroit techno is on this album too though, which, before the genre had really started to flesh itself out more distinctly from house in the early 90s, was frequently lumped in with it. And we've got a trio of Motor City classics here, with Reese & Santonio's "Rock to the Beat," Juan Atkins' mix of Inner City's pop-appealing "Good Life," and then Derrick May's breathtaking "Strings of Life (Piano mix)" as Rhythim Is Rhythim, which is so hard to believe actually came out in 1987 🤯. Plus, with Reese of Reese & Santonio being Kevin Saunderson, and with Saunderson also being part of Inner City, we happen to have all of techno's big Belleville Three on this album, which doesn't feel like a coincidence!
And then last but certainly not least, we also have A Guy Called Gerald's "Voodoo Ray," a statement record from 1988 that happened to be the first acid house tune to ever be made in the UK itself. When acid house first started to pick up steam there, the records had been imported from Chicago, but here we have Gerald making one himself, delivering a midtempo stunner that brought forth a spaciously killer combination of a uniquely dubby and metallically bonging bassline, acid darts, and a young and soothingly spiritual female vocal, all over a house backbeat. Psychedelic dance bliss 😌.
So that about wraps up my little foray this week into the first three volumes of this house series from Profile. Despite being right in the thick of house music's growth from an underground, Chicago-centric scene of quirky insularity into a commercial force to be reckoned with that was developing its own scenes in multiple locales internationally, these three volumes still managed to select a whole lot of songs that would go on to prove as definitively essential house cornerstones. Volume 2 is probably my favorite experience of all because it doesn't have many of the same tracks that later "history of house" comps would end up having, but taken together as a unit, this trio of releases is really worth a listen for anyone who either loves or is interested in learning about the history of early electronic dance music. So much of it still holds up to this very day!
Highlights:
Richie Rich Meets the Jungle Brothers - "I'll House You (Gee Street Reconstruction)" Jomanda - "Make My Body Rock (Basic Mix)" Reese & Santonio - "Rock to the Beat" Adeva - "Respect (Dancin' Danny D. Mix)" Chanelle - "One Man (One Mix)" Vicky Martin - "(Not Gonna) Do It (Bam Bam Mix)" Inner City - "Good Life (Magic Juan Mix)" K-Os (Chaos) - "Definition of Love" Rhythim Is Rhythim - "Strings of Life (Piano Mix)" A Guy Called Gerald - "Voodoo Ray" Sublevel feat. Andrea - "Don't Blame Me"
