Summary: At James' match, y/n starts to feel worried her shy nature is boring her boys

A/n: 1.9k words, I didn't think I would enjoy writing poly-marauders so much but here we are and I even have a oneshot planned in my head for the future 😅 Thank you so much and for the request, I hope you like it x

You quietly cheered and clapped in the stands as you watched one of your boyfriends score yet another goal, you were beyond proud of James, as were the other boys, Sirius screaming ‘that’s my man’ while Remus just did a quiet ‘whoop’ next to him as they leaned over the edge of the stands just in front of you

“She really dating all of them?” you hear a girl behind you whispering not so subtly to the boy next to her

“Apparently” the boy says with venom in his voice

You fiddled with the hem of your jumper…well James’ old one as you listened to their conversation “She’s so greedy” the girl huffs “What do they even see in her, I swear I’ve never heard her voice…bet she’s so boring in bed” she giggles wickedly at the last bit

The boys scoff in agreement “Bet she just lays back and lets them do all the work, or maybe she hasn’t put out explains why she’s lasted. Either way they’ll grow bored like many a person before her, shyness gets dull real fast” he assures her “Maybe we could join them once they come to their senses” you can feel his smirk as the girl giggles followed by the sound of them smooching

You knew you were quiet, you always had been, it took the boys almost 3 months to get you comfortable enough to talk to them let alone date them. You understood why Remus liked you, he was shy too, but Sirius and James were loud and confident, sure of themselves, the complete opposite of you. You would think three boyfriends would make you feel less insecure with three times the love and affection but if anything, it made it worse. Especially since those comments just now weren’t the first nor last, you’d ever hear

Your eyes drifted to your boys, watching as Remus held Sirius’ hand almost holding him back as Sirius shouted curses at the opposing team’s beater for throwing a bludger at James. You giggled a little at his insult gaining their attention, Remus smiled brightly at you, holding out his hand while Sirius threw a wink, both gesturing for you to join them but you shake your head shyly, giving them a little smile

They nod turning back to the game but you felt like you could see the disappointment in Remus’ face as he retracted his hand and squeezed Sirius’ tighter. You pouted at you watched Sirius kiss Remus’ cheek whispering something in his ear which made the sandy haired boy smile, feeling bad for letting them down and scared that they really were going to get bored of you

You looked down no longer paying attention to the game, thoughts swarming your head only broken as you feel someone sit next to you followed by a voice “I’m gonna to go steal snacks from Red and Dorcas” Sirius says giving Remus a quick kiss on the cheek before running off while your eyebrows pinch together, why didn’t you receive a kiss?

“You okay love” Remus asks pouting sweetly at you as he presses his thumb to the centre of your forehead

You face softens as you look into his warm brown eyes, eyes anyone would just melt into “Yeah I’m fine” you say but he tilts his head revolving his thumb and wrapping his arm around your shoulder, pulling you into his side making you bite your lip “Your so cute when you do that” he takes his free hand running his thumb over your lip smiling “You sure you’re alright?” he checks once again, caressing your shoulder “Is the crowd to loud?”

You shake your head “I’m okay Rem” you give him a smile but it looks forced

He was about to speak when Sirius returned plopping himself on the Remus’ side even though there was a free seat for him next to you “Thank merlin for Red siriusly, the girl is a genius bringing an extendable bag, she gave me a hotdog and everything!” he says excitedly eating it before turning to you “Not a word, it’s not like it’s a real dog…right?” he eyes you both, relaxing as Remus’ nods and putting a small bag onto Remus’ lap “Got you stuff too Moons a…” he says before standing up “What the fuck was that!” he shouts mouth full at one of the chasers elbowing Marlene before he sits back down “Ridiculous” he shakes his head continuing to head his hotdog

“Ooo” Remus looks over at Lily “I can’t believe she brought my favourite” Remus does a little happy dance in his seat which would have been adorable to you if you weren’t feeling the way you were

Should you have brought snacks? A good girlfriend would have brought them, a good girlfriend would be the one making their boyfriend to a happy dance. You weren’t necessarily nervous about them leaving you for someone else, the boys weren’t made that way, but times like this you wondered why they choose you when they could have had anyone, as well as once upon a time they seemed so interested in the redhead

“You want a piece?” Remus offers you but you shake your head pretending to watch the game “You sure” he leans forward trying to get a better look at your face frowning as he sees your glassy eyes “Hey what’s wrong?” his arm wraps tighter around you protecting you from any prying eyes in case you were getting overwhelmed

“Nothing” you shake your head the tears welling

Remus subtly taps Sirius’ leg gaining his attention “Yeah Moons…Y/n darling?” his face morphs to concern

“You want to leave?” Remus asks but you shake your head

“No, it’s Jamie’s game I don’t want to be a bother…I’m so sorry I’m already being a bother, aren’t I?” you mumble the second half but they hear it sharing a look

Remus and Sirius couldn’t believe that’s what you thought you were “Love you aren’t we love having you around and if your upset he’ll understand because we love you pup” Remus says placing a lingering kiss on your temple, the pressure harder than normal like he’s pouring all the love he can into it

“Darling” Sirius leans over Remus to take your hand “What’s wrong? What’s making you feel like this?” he asks as softly as he can, worry lines all over his face

“Come on love lets go somewhere private the games almost done anyway” Remus says standing up and leading you out of the stands along with Sirius, your state catching the attention of others including your other boyfriend distracting him and allowing the opposing team to grab the quaffle but he didn’t care, instead he screamed at his seeker to catch the snitch 

As James tried to end the game, Sirius and Remus had led you half way down the stands, sitting in front of a ripped bit of fabric where you could still see the action but allowed for them to comfort you “What’s going on?” Sirius asks as you all take a seat on the floor, legs dangling over the edge as you hug the wooden railing

You chew on your lip “Do I bore you?” you ask so quietly they barely even hear it

Remus and Sirius lean forward, Remus tilting your head toward him “W-where did you get that idea from?” he looks at you confused and hurt, as does Sirius, both of their hearts aching

“I don’t really talk much” you wiggled back to you can see both of them fiddling with your fingers and looking down at them as you talk “I’m not very interesting, you all are so confident and pretty…I just don’t compare” a small tear falls down your cheek

Sirius wipes it away “Darlin you are one the most interesting people I’ve ever met” he assures you “You’re right that you don’t compare because we don’t compare to you…” he cups your face “You are spectacular and so frickin adorable I just want to kiss you all over every time I see you” you let out a small smile as does Remus

“Why you think he was to sit on the other side of me, he’s never pay attention to the game otherwise” Remus says kissing your shoulder and taking your hand in his

Your eyes widen that’s why Sirius seemed distant “Really? But you didn’t kiss my cheek” you pout

Sirius tilts his head before his mouth parts “Aww darling I’m sorry” he nudges his nose into your cheek “I was just really hungry, I didn’t mean to hurt you” he kisses your cheek hand moving to rub your lower back as the other cups over yours and Remus’ hands

“It’s okay Siri” you give him a small smile but your insecurities still hadn’t vanished “I’m sorry” 

Remus and Sirius’ eyebrows furrow “Why are you sorry?” Sirius shakes his head

“I’m sorry I’m so…” you let the tears fall, sniffing a bit before whispering “Why did you pick me?” you had never known why, in the month of dating and the months of friendship before they had never mentioned what drew them to you, or how they were able to say I love you so fast

“Because you are you” Remus says simply “Love we had liked you a lot longer than you think” he informs you 

You look at him confused “He’s right, we’ve fancied you for a long while we just couldn’t figure out…” Sirius says earning a head tilts from Remus “…okay, okay, we just couldn’t find the courage to talk to you” he confesses with a small chuckle, scratching his neck

“That doesn’t make sense…you…you flirt with everyone…it doesn’t make sense why you would be scared of me” you were more confused than before but your heart was fluttering “The first time you tried to speak to me I fell off my seat, I’m hardly scary” you feel heat rushing to your cheeks as you remember the embarrassment

Remus takes over kissing your cheek “Siri and Jamie are flirty and I can be too on occasion” he smiles winking at you looking overjoyed as you let out a giggle “But we first noticed you in the library, reading your little book and biting that little lip of yours oh so perfectly. After that we noticed you everywhere we went, all knowing you were the one for us before we’d even spoken to you. We knew you were shy and we took so long because we were terrified someone as beautiful and pure as you wouldn’t want a bunch of troublemakers as boyfriends” he says “We didn’t want to mess up the best thing that hadn’t even really happened to us yet”

“And you aren’t scary” Sirius adds making you smile “Oh and you falling off your seat was the moment I knew I was going to fall for you so hard I was doomed in the best…possible…way” he kisses each of your cheeks between the final words before pecking your lips

You felt your heart soaring, giggling as Remus mirrored Sirius’ actions quickly “Really?” you look at them and they nod, you were about to ask something else when someone flew through the gap in the stands “Jamie?” you turn around onto your knees

He takes of his helmet throwing it somewhere as he lands walking over and kneeling in front of you “You alright sweetheart?” he asks worried and out of breath, arse falling to the floor as he pulls you to straddle his lap, brushing your hair out the way “I’m so sorry I took so long” he apologises

Remus and Sirius shift over, Remus placing his head into James shoulder and Sirius on yours warm loving smiles on their faces, making James’ face soften lips tugging up “I am now”

“Rem?” you call out as you push open the door to his dorm

Walking in you see Remus sitting on his bed book in hand smiling at you “Hey” he tilts his head “Something wrong?” he asks clearly seeing your nervous look

You bob your head a little unsure moving over to plop yourself down next to him on the bed, leaning on his shoulder “I’m in a bit of a predicament” 

 “What might be your predicament?” he inquires leaning his own head on yours

You hold up your pinkie “What I’m going to say doesn’t leave this room” you wiggle it at him

He chuckles at the childish sentiment but confirms to it, wrapping his much bigger finger around yours “Deal now tell me” he says releasing his finger but you keep your hands intertwined

“I fancy someone but I’m scared it’ll ruin the friendship” you confess pouting

Remus nods “Not me is it?” he checks to which you giggle, replying with a small ‘you wish wolfy’ making him chuckle and kiss your hair “Who is it then?” he asks although he does have a small incline as to who

“Sirius” you move your head to look at your friend “I know it’s so cliché to fall for your best friend…” Remus coughs “Sorry second best friend” you correct earing a ‘damn right’ “I don’t know what to do, it was okay to pretend at first but with him flirting with everyone all the time it’s hard to not want to just kiss is stupidly handsome face” you grab the air in front of you

“I’ll give you that, he is stupidly handsome” Remus grins at you “You ever thought of just doing that, kissing him”

You look at him like he’s insane “No course not, he doesn’t like me like that and…ugh why me!” you shift around on the bed and fall backwards

“You want my advice?”

You scoff “Remmy sweetie that’s why I came here” you nudge his shoulder with your foot

He lets out a laugh ticking your foot to get it away from him “Just tell him, you really think that he would just turn his back on you if he didn’t like you back? Besides he probably does fancy you, he flirts with you the most” Remus notes

“Does not”

“Does too and you know it” You huff in defeat, sitting up “Just think about it alright?” 

You nod “Fine but only for you” you point at him and you stand up “Now remember no one can know about this”

“No one can know about what?” Sirius’ voice comes from the door

“Bloody hell!” you exclaim in shock before grabbing a pillow and throwing it at him “You scared this shit out of me you twat!” 

Sirius catches the pillow after it hits his chest laughing “Sorry darling did I scare you?” he says cheekily

“I have a full arsenal here” you point to the pillows on James bed next to you while Remus grabs one of his and hugs it so you can’t throw it

“Sorry” he apologies “You didn’t answer though”

Your eyes widen looking at Remus whose face screams ‘tell him’ “I had a sex dream about Remus” you blurt out making Remus’ mouth drop and Sirius bark a laugh

“Who hasn’t” Sirius says

James pops his head in the door “Who hasn’t what?” he calls in

“Had a sex dream about Moony” Sirius inform him

“Oh yeah totally normal, eh Moony” James winks at the boy “Hands off you lot” he points at you and Sirius “We’ve got a deal to marry if we are both single when we’re forty”

“What!” Sirius and you exclaim at the same time before looking at Remus

“You told me that’s was stupid when I asked” you cross your arms

“Dam right darling” Sirius nods in agreement

Remus is bright pink “In my defence James asked first and didn’t try to negotiate terms of how many shags a week” he looks at Sirius who shrugs turning to you to say ‘can you blame me?’

“Okay I’m leaving” you announce giggling at the silly conversation, saying your goodbyes as you walk out 

James closes the door behind you “Je veux te baiser” he asks stunning Sirius before he starts laughing “Fuck did I use that wrong…oh…that pretty fucker” he pokes his cheek, shaking his head as leaves the room 

“Do I want the translation?” Remus asks to which Sirius just shakes his head “So what can I do for you?”

Sirius flops onto the bed next to Remus, looking up at him “I need to get something off my chest” he says sincerely

“You’re in luck I’m all ears today” Remus says with a smile

“I’m in love” he confesses “…and I’m terrified” 

Remus’ eyes widen, heart dropping a little for you “Can I know who?”

Sirius looks back up at him “Promise you won’t tell anyone?” he eyes him

“Alright” Remus holds out his pinkie but Sirius just stares at it “Muggle thing forget about it” he waves it off “So who is it?”

Sirius turning back to look at the ceiling “Y/n” he sighs out 

Sirius didn’t really know what he expected Remus to say, maybe ‘oh my god’, perhaps an ‘I figured that, it was pretty obvious mate’ but what he certainly didn’t expect Remus to burst out in uncontrollable laughter

“Why are you laughing!” Sirius jolts up and turns on the bed “This is serious” he huffs

“Oh, it’s super sirius” Remus continues laughing, merlin was his best friends were idiots

Just as Sirius was about to whine some more the door opened revealing you “Siri what does Je veux te baiser mean? James just said it to me and Marlene said I was too cute to understand…oh and James told me to tell you he’s taken the map and cloak to kill your frère?...frare?” you try to say the word hoping he gets it before you see Remus red as he is dying in laughter and Sirius looking a little flustered as you spoke in French before chuckling at the last bit

“Did I miss something?” you ask with a raised eyebrow

“Y/n darling never say that phase to anyone other than me” Sirius informs you to which you nod saying ‘alright’ as you climb onto the bed

“So what’s going on?” you ask deciding to just join the conversation since thinking about what to do about the boy next to you was a matter for future y/n

“Nothing” Sirius says quickly “Remus just thought a problem I was having was hilarious” he says a little annoyed

“What was the problem?” you ask shifting closer to him and placing your hand over his, an act which makes Sirius a little nervous and Remus laugh again

“Remus” Sirius scolds him

The boy holds up his hands “I’m sorry but this is too funny…” he calms himself down, getting an idea “I need to go promised Lily I’d study with her but I do have advice for this problem of yours Pads” Remus says leaning in to whisper something in Sirius’ ear for about 30 seconds before he leaves

Sirius’ mood seems to pick up smiling brightly at you “The advice help?” you mirror his expression

He nods “Yeah I just need to put it into practice you see…” Sirius starts talking but you can’t really hear him as you just look at his lips, aw fuck it, you think as you launch forward to peck his lips quickly shocking him “Couldn’t have let me finish first” he complains starting to chuckle

“What were you saying?” you ask a little confused but happy he wasn’t mad

“Fuck the speech now, come here” he gestures before just pulling you over to straddle his lap

You flounder in his grasp “Siri!” you giggle before looking at him “Can I please get the premise of the speech?” you wonder

“I like you more than a friend and I want us to be together” he says simply making your eyes light up

“I like you too…wait” you tilt your head realising “Rem told you, didn’t he?”

He nods “Little bit, but he did say that when you figured it out I was to say that your words were it ‘can’t leave this room’ and technically he did honour it”

You shake your head chuckling “Guess it doesn’t matter now” you shrug “We’re both really silly”

“Hell yeah you are!” you here Remus shout through the door “Now I’m going to leave but as both of yours best friend, I am telling you to make out for the sake of everyone’s sanity”

You and Sirius laugh together before he cups your face “Well you heard the man” he says smiling 

“Is this a good time to say Je veux te baiser?” you ask to which his eyes flash with something else

He lifts you up throws you onto the bed next to him making you squeal as he climbs on top of you “Well if you insist”

You hadn’t really thought about your choice of clothing, Lily and Dorcas had told you they were wearing sundresses so you wore one to match. When you showed up your girl friends told you how gorgeous you looked, pulling you over into the sunny garden to catch up. 

On your way by you spotted Sirius “Hi Siri” you wave at him as you walk by smiling away

He glances at you, eyes lighting up “Darling” he pulls you from Lily’s grasp and in for a quick kiss

He cups your face pulling you in “Missed you” he mumbles into your lips as he breaks away

“Missed you too” you smile up at him starting to walk backwards as Lily calls you

“I’ll see you in a bit Marlene and Dorca have something important to ask me” you say, giving his hand a quick squeeze before heading over to the girls

What you didn’t see as you walked away, your dress gently swaying with your hips, was how Sirius’ eyes were fixated on you. He hadn’t noticed until you pulled back what you were wearing, usually no matter your clothing Sirius would watch you walk away…okay he watched one part of you walk away, but on this occasion, he couldn’t bring himself to stop looking

His breath quickened as he watched you smile as you spoke with your friends, his eyes lingering on how the dress hugged you. It wasn’t like he’s never seen you in flattering clothes, although in his eyes anything you wore was immediately such, but he had never seen you in a sundress before. He was used to you in your uniform or jeans and one of the many shirts you had stolen from him, so this dress was making him more than a little flustered

“Pads?” James says by Sirius doesn’t hear it, too busy staring at you as you jump up and down happily and something Marlene says, the dress lifting to reveal your upper thigh’s although his eyes were looking around 8 inches below your face, mouth parted with a fond smile on his face

Remus and James follow their friends’ eyes “You’d think he’d just seen her for the first time” Remus chuckles

“I know right” James sniggers as he pokes Sirius’ cheek “Mate”

“What” Sirius snaps huffing at his friends before his face softens “Sorry what?” he looks at them before sneaking a quick glance at you before he looks back at his grinning friends

“Got a bit of drool there” Remus teases gesturing to his lips 

Sirius half smacks his face to check, it wouldn’t have been the first time that had happened, you should have seen him when he saw you in a bikini the first time, he had Padfoot to thank for that trait “Aww shut up” he says rubbing his chin

“You alright? Have you not seen each other in a week or something, can’t be that bad can it?” James asks chuckling

Sirius flushes a little surprising his friends “No I saw this mornin before I left…it’s just…just she just looks so…so…” he makes the mistake of looking over at you, looking like a goddess standing there, losing his words as his mouth drops open

Remus and James just shake their heads “I think we should see how it’ll take him to notice we abandoned him” James whispers

“Good plan, beer?” Remus suggests 

James nods “Beer”

Sirius stood there for around 20 minutes before you waved your hand in his face “Siri you okay?” you ask looking up at him with those puppy eyes

He shakes his head looking around “Sorry darling…wait where’d Moony and Prongs go?” he asks baffled which makes you giggle

“Everyone went over to sit at table around 5 minutes ago” you inform him pointing to your friends

Sirius looks over seeing most of them smirking as well as James and Marlene giving money to Remus and Dorca, while Lily just tucks into one of the cupcakes she made with a smile

“You okay Siri, you look hot…” you pout placing your hand on his forehead “…the heat getting to you?”

His eyes return to you then trail down, up close the dress looked even better, growing hotter by the second “Umm…” he tries to speak but nothing comes out, even after chucking he still had nothing 

Your head drops as you look down wondering if you had something on your chest “Siri what are you looking at?” you say slyly, realising the cut off the dress enhances two particular assets 

His head lifts up but his eyes remain fixed to them “What?” he breathes out before smirking as you cross your arms 

“Siri” you shove him lightly “Stop staring” you whine quietly starting to feel a little flustered at your boyfriends attention

He finally tears his eyes away and back to your face “Sorry darlin” he chuckles “You look really…really good in that” he says almost breathless nodding

You smile feeling good about yourself “Thank you, but all the goodies are going to be gone if you keep staring at my tits” 

He nods realising his glances down at your chest every so often weren’t subtle at all “Yeah sure but here” he unbuttons his white shirt, taking it off and leaving him in just a white tank top “Darling as much as I love you in that and will take pride in ripping off you later please put this on or I’ll just goggle the rest of the night” he chuckles

You giggle nodding “Fine” you say taking it and putting it on “You want it like this?” you tease him buy scrunching it up and tying it

“You’re gonna kill me one day, you know that right?”

“At lease you’ll die happy” you shrug as you wrap the shirt around you before taking his hand 

He lets out a soft laugh “That I will darling”

It had been one year since you and the boys got together, one year since you had shyly and, at the time, mortifyingly told them that you fancied them. You sadly couldn’t the day off work but Sirius had told you this morning, when he made you breakfast in bed, that he and the others were taking you out for dinner later 

As you got back to the flat it was in complete darkness “Siri?” you call out “Rem? Jamie?” you chewed on your lip as you received no response

Dropping your bag and hanging up your coat, you then put the chain on the door before flicking on the light…but nothing happened, you flicked it a few more times in case it miraculously worked but you pouted. Was there a power cut? Maybe that’s where the boys were, maybe they were repairing it…two purebloods and a half-blood with questionable handyman skills, okay that might be a stretch

“Boys?” you say warily as you walk further into the apartment, you were about to call again when you saw something on the floor…petals?

Your heart fluttered as you rounded the corner to see more petals leading through the living room, as you got to the stairs the petals branched in different directions, one to the kitchen, dining room, one to the study and the other upstairs to the bedroom. They petals shifted from white to three different colours, red leading to the bedroom, yellow to the study and purply pink to the kitchen. 

You headed into the kitchen first, pushing the door open you saw James standing there in a suit “Hello sweetheart” he greets with a dazingly smile

“Hi Jamie” you say quietly, heart bursting at the beautiful meal prepared and one of your gorgeous boyfriends

He studies your reaction, smiling as he walks over to you “Happy anniversary” he whispers as he tilts your head up, gently caressing your cheek before he kisses you sweetly

“Happy anniversary Jamie…this is so pretty” you look around the room your arms going to wrap around him in a tight embrace “Thank you” you mumble into his chest “I love you so much”

He kisses your forehead as you pull back “I love you too sweets but you still two doors to go…don’t worry it’s all enchanted to stay warm” he winks making your face feel hot something he notices kissing your cheeks “On you go” he turns you around patting your bum to which you let out a little squeak earning a chuckle

You walked slowly towards the stairs again, figuring one of the boys is at the end of each, and knowing them, Sirius was in the bedroom and once you entered that you probably wouldn’t be coming back out so you headed into the study

“Rem?” you say as the door opens

“Hi love” he smiles knowing you had figured who was behind the doors

As you walk in you see little blue lights floating around the room, almost like little stars before your eyes land on him. Wearing the jumper you bought him for your one month along with suspenders which he knew did things to you

“Rem this is beautiful” you look round the room while walking over to him “Oh” you yelp quietly as he yanks you towards him

His hands land on your hips “You’re beautiful” he whispers just before he kisses you “Happy anniversary love” he pushes some hair from your face

“Happy anniversary to you too” you say a little dazed from the rougher kiss, a smile grazing your face

He smiles leaning backwards and grabbing a book, not just any book, it was a sequel you had been waiting to come out “Remmy this isn’t out for another month” you look at the book in shock before your head tilts up to look at him

“We have our ways” he winks at you making you feel more flushed than with James, Remus wasn’t the most inherently flirty but when he did flirt it always sends you and the other boys wild

You hug the book to your chest “I love it Rem…and I love you” you say bashfully 

He smiles kissing your nose making it scrunch up in the cute way he just adored “Love you too” he cups your cheeks briefly before sliding the book out of your hand “One more door to go…I’ll put this in a safe place”

You nod moving to walk away before you turn and give him a quick kiss, hearing him chuckle as you scamper away. Your heart was already pounding out of your chest as you got to the bottom of the stairs, you climbed them slowly, when you reached the top you took a breath before opening the door

Peering in you are met with Sirius dressed all in black, wearing a shirt that was barely buttoned up exposing the tattoos you treasured “Well hello darling…oh fuck” he says smoothly, laying on the bed holding his head up with his elbow with one leg bent up, he looked more than mildly seductive until he leaned back and fell off the bed, landing with a small *thump*

Meanwhile downstairs…

“He fell off, didn’t he?” James asks looking at Remus with an enduring smile

Remus nods “Yeah” he cringes before letting out a small laugh

“I’m gonna marry that idiot one day” James says shaking his head with a smile

Remus smirks “I’m marrying two”

James looks over at Remus, poking his cheek with his tough his stare only making the boy smirk more “That’s rather insulting to y/n don’t ya think” he muses

Remus turns to look at him giving him a look “Love you my silly dear” he says as he leans in

“Love you my clever moon” James mummers into Remus’ lips before capturing them properly

Back to the bedroom…

“You okay Siri?” you ask knelt down next to him, pouting as you checked his head

He groans a little “I’m dandy” he chuckles before gently gripping your wrist, making you look at him “Did I ruin the mood?” he asks sincerely 

You shake your head “No” his lips tug up “If anything it made me love you more” you lean forward and place a soft kiss to his lips

He tuts “You ain’t get away that easy” he says as he pulls you by the back of the head in for, in his words, a proper kiss

Breaking apart you smile “Happy anniversary Siri”

“Happy anniversary darling” he kisses your cheek 

“Did we do a good job?” you both turn your head to see Remus leaning against the door way and James approaching the bed stopping just before it

You nod “This is wonderful” you felt like you could cry, you were so loved

They all smile “You alright?” James looks down to look at Sirius

“So so, just my pride” he chuckles “Maybe you should double check though”

While James moves around and sits on the bed, Remus motions, curling his finger for you to come to him, you stand and walk over, automatically entering his warm embrace “Thank you” he whispers

“For?” you peer up at him chin resting on his chest 

He pokes your nose “The expensive Dutch chocolate” he says quietly “You shouldn’t have”

“I wanted to” you beam up at him, letting him capture your lips in a slow tender kiss before you turn your attentions to the other boys

Sirius had climbed onto James’ lap telling him the places he hurt on the way down “This bit is really sore” he points to his lips

You and Remus giggle together as each other as James kisses the corner of Sirius’ lips making him pout cutely “Prongs” he whines “Snog me properly”

“Fine fine” James gives in pulling Sirius in for a long kiss

You turn to Remus, pulling him gently by the hand to the bed to join your other boyfriends. He climbs onto the bed and shuffling up to sit against the headboard, letting you climb over and staddle him.

James and Sirius pull apart, Sirius moving up to sit on one side of Remus and James the other “We having desert first?” Sirius wiggles his eyebrows making you go wide eyed and drop your head into the crook of Remus’ neck

James kisses your temple “Even after a whole year our girls still all shy” he lightly teases

“Leave her alone” Remus wraps his arms around you giving you a squeeze 

“Shy ones teaming up here” Sirius eyes Remus before both breaking out in smiles and move in for a loving kiss while James coxes you out of Remus’ neck by peppering kisses down the side of your face

As you pull away you smile at Sirius and Remus, as does James and after waiting of them to pull away you take James’ and Sirius’ hands in yours “You think we could nap before desert?” you bite your lip

All of their eyes light up “Thank merlin, we spent all day arranging and charming the flowers not to wither” Sirius sighs in relief making you giggle

“Wonderful idea sweetheart” James winks at you

“Come on then” Remus smiles at you

Remus scoots down on the bed letting you shift between him and James, your head on his chest while James wraps his arms around your waist and nuzzles his own head into your hair. Sirius rests on the other side on Remus’ chest, chancing a quick kiss with you closing the gap before you all say your ‘goodnights’ and ‘I love yous’, slipping off gently to sleep

You had skipped all your classes, holed up in your dorm clutching your stomach most of the day, none of your usual methods to ease the pain working especially since your dorm mate had broken your hot waterbottle.

Your lack of presence at class however hadn’t gone unnoticed by your best friend, James, as you heard a knock at the door followed by an ‘I’m coming in’

“Y/n?” he calls out softly as he walks into the dorm, frowning as he sees you still in your pyjamas and in a blanket cocoon “Are you sick?” he asks making his way quickly to your side, sitting on the bed and checking your head,

The act makes your heart warm “I’m not sick I just have…ouch” you wince clutching your stomach making James panic

He cups your cheeks “What’s wrong you need me to take you to Poppy?” he asks worried

You shake your head still wincing “No it’s cramps” you say lowly

His eyes light up in recognition “Oh” he removes his hands from your cheeks “What can I do? You want me to make one of those muggliy things?” he makes the shape of the water bottle with his hands

“It’s broken” you sigh letting out a small whine

James looks in pain watching you thinking of what he can do to help “What about this?” he sides his hands under yours but you push them away yelping “What?” he asks looking at you shock

“Your hands are cold” you pout

He lets out an ‘ah’ of a chuckle looking relieved “I have another idea, shift down a bit” he motions and you do as he says, watching as he moves to lay his head on your stomach lightly

You bite your lip wondering how this would help before you feel the warmth of his head, this combined with the sense of comfort, made the pain subside becoming manageable and less crimpling

You smile down at him “Would you mind if I lift my shirt a bit?” you ask to which he lifts his head nodding, a light blush on his face but he hides it by resuming his position now on your bare stomach with your shirt bunched up just behind his head

“Thank you, Jamie” you say ruffling his hair

He lets out a pleased sigh at the contact before shifting to kiss your stomach “Anything for you, sweets” you can feel the apples of his cheeks raising

Your moment was cut short by the other marauders walking “Hey y/n…” Peter starts before noticing the position, Remus and Sirius smirking behind him

“Finally tell her?” Sirius asks to which you tilt your head and James gives Sirius a death stare

“Y/n had cramps I'm just helping” he explains quickly snuggling into your stomach more making you smile and forget what Sirius said

Remus is the first to step forward “You want some chocolate?” he offers with a smile pulling out a half-eaten bar which you giggle taking asking if he was sure “Yeah I got mountains of the stuff” he jokes before looking at you “You want more I can go get you more…” he doesn’t even give you time to answer as he’s walking out saying 'I’ll get you more bun'

Sirius and Peter snigger at Remus “Anything we can do?” Peter asks with a smile 

You think for a moment “I haven’t eaten all day” you say taking a bite chocolate “Okay, now I’ve only eaten this bit of chocolate” you giggle 

“We’ll sneak down to the kitchen darlin” Sirius says gesturing to peter “Want your favourite?” he asks 

You nod “That would be perfect, thank you so much” you give them a grateful look

“Anytime” Peter says smiling at you as he and Sirius head out

You munch down the chocolate while you wait on the boys getting back, feeling happy for the first time all day “Jamie” you say quietly but there is no response, you lean forward as gently as you can seeing his eyes are closed

You smile as you lay back again, hand moving to play with his hair “Night, night Jamie” you say, kissing two of your fingers and placing them on his forehead

You walked happily up to your boyfriend’s dorm after pissing off the fat lady by knowing the password, heading towards the stairs to the dormitories you spot Remus “Hi” you wave at him to which he smiles brighter than you had ever seen back “What’s got you so happy?”

“Hey, I had a very good afternoon” he admits unable to stop smiling so much you can’t help but mirror him “How’s your arm?” he points to the bandage

“It’s much better than it was this mornin” you cringe as does Remus before the smiles return 

“Everyone’s playing truth or dare wanna join? I was just grabbing extra firewhisky” he wiggles the bottle

You nod “Sure sounds fun” you were hoping to catch Sirius for alone time since your picinic was canclled when you may or may not have fell down the stairs but maybe you could sneak off after

Remus explains the charms on the room to you as you head up, everyone is compelled to sit, tell the truth, and once you are in you must finish the round. You just nodded alone, happy to be invited, you had been friends with them through your friendship with Sirius, although none of them knew for the better part of a year you had been a couple. Keeping it quiet as Sirius wasn't ready, something you respected knowing he was nervous about committment

“Hope you don’t have secrets you don’t want anyone to know” he jokes as you reach the door

“None I don’t mind being revealed” you smile up him “You?”

“None I don’t mind being revealed” he repeats your words making you chuckle together as you enter the room

Walking in your greeted by your friends. Lily, Marlene and Dorca are giggling together, James talking to his pet...rat, and your boyfriend sitting swirling his drink in thought

“Hi” “hey” you and Remus say gain their attention, earning huge smiles from everyone including your man even if it seemed a bit off as his eyes flicked from you to Remus, he’s probably worried about the overly big bandage, you think as you walk in the door closing behind you like it was possessed or something “What the fuck” your shoulders shoot up at the slam

“I’d ask if you’re playing y/n but you can’t say no now” James says grinning as he lets the rat take a nap in a makshift bed that was really just a pillow

You giggle at him nodding “It’s alright Rem already explained the rules” you say taking a seat across from your boyfriend in the circle while Remus takes the space next to him, you hated the distance but at least you could meet his eyes and you do

‘Hi’ you mouth to him as James spins the bottle and asks Dorcas something, ‘Hey’ he mouths back discreetly eyes lighting up as he looks at you but his face still looked a little worried

You turn your head to face the circle “Sirius” Dorcas points at him “Truth or Dare”

“Truth” he says to which Marlene boos ‘boring’

“Who was the last person you hooked up with?” she asks to which your eyes widen, bracing yourself for him to reveal your relationship, although a part of you was happy you would have to hide…

“Remus” Sirius blurts out his eyes widening before he looks down

Your face drops but no one notices as they gasp, James shouting ‘finally’, Lily saying ‘you two are so meant to be’ and Dorca and marelene saying ‘I knew it’ at the same time. You felt your heart crumble, not only had you been cheated on but apparently you and he weren’t even an option in everyone else’s eyes. 

Sirius wouldn’t even look at you, just giving a nervous smile at his friends so you did your best not to break down and cause a scene

The game continued, Sirius just stared at the spinning bottle while you just put on a fake smile ignoring the constant pain in your chest and the inner torment of whether or not you should tell Remus. He looked so happy, he clearly didn’t know you and Sirius were together or that you were together this morning and that broke your heart more. You couldn’t break down now, you couldn’t let his heart shatter when it had taken so years to see him this happy, yet at the same time he deserved to know

Finally, the bottle landed on you “Truth or Dare y/n” Lily asks in a soft tone 

You look up “Truth” you say quickly

“You okay?” Remus asks noticing your saddened state

You nod “Yeah I’m fine” you assure them and Sirius winces

“Are you seeing anyone at the moment” Lily asks

Your heart stung “No, I don’t think we’re together anymore” you have to answer truthfully, eyes glassing over as your met with sad eyes, Sirius finally looking at you, face filled with heartbreak, guilt…perhaps regret “Let’s keep playing” you try to wave it off but knock over the bottle of firewhisky next to you “I’m so sorry” you cringe as it flows all over the floor in front of James, Lily, Marlene and Dorcas

“It’s fine sweetie” Dorcas assures you “You spin the bottle we’ll clean it” she says as the four get to work

You spin the bottle watching as it lands on the last person you wanted “Truth or Dare” you ask with a small voice crack only Remus and Sirius pick up on along with the broken look on your face

“Truth” he whispers looking equally as shattered, while Remus looks at him funny then back to you

You needed to know how long he’d fallen out of love with you, how long was cheating on you with your friend, and how long he had been using you and Remus “How long have you are Remus been hooking up?” you ask looking him straight in the eyes

Remus’ mouth drops as he looks between you and Sirius, tears forming in his eyes as it him.

His own heart shattering as he watches the look on your face as Sirius answers “Almost a year”

I know it’s a little out of order but hey ho” Professor Sprout shrugs “I’ll leave you all to get started, if you have any questions please ask Mr Longbottom because I need to go stop a small army of mandrakes from taking over the school” and with that rather comedically ominous point she leaves

The class turns to look at Neville a little jealous of you getting to partner with him, something that was extremely foreign to the boy. It made him anxious, his hand moving to grip his stool in order to stop them from shaking

You gently place yours over his, instantly calming him “Thank you” he whispers, a dusting of blush on his cheeks

You smile “I am pretty lucky to be with the whiz though” 

He lets out a small chuckle “So what do you want to do it on?” he says taking his free hand and flicking through the book, not wanting to move his other and lose contact with you yet

You leaned closer to him, he smelt like a garden but a sweet one, filled with flowers and ferns, wild and beautiful “I’m happy to do anything, I can take care of the sketches and general writing if you provide your brilliant brain” you let out a small giggle which makes the boys heart warm “I’ll get my…” you finally pull you hand away but he stops you, hand gently wrapped around your wrist before he slips it into yours, interlacing your fingers with a beautiful pink hue on his face

He then looks over at you, checking this was alright, smiling as you smile and continue to get your quill and parchment with the one hand, neither of you letting go any time soon

You fiddled with the keys to your apartment quickly, hearing the phone through the door “Come on you piece of…oh yay” you celebrate as the door finally wants to open, half dropping your stuff at the door as you run over to the phone “Hello” you say a little distressed and panting

“Hello love” you hear the amusement in your boyfriend’s voice 

You were no longer annoyed at the previous rush to get in “Hi Rem” your voice picking up in tone, lighting up much like your face as you smile “How are you?” you ask

“I’m grand just got back from helping Sirius pick the perfect saddlebag for his bike, did you know there are over 20 shades of black and only 5 generate bi-energy?” he says half chuckling before you both start giggling when Sirius shouts out something about there being 6 but one in his own words had a ‘shit name’

After hearing Remus shoo Sirius out of his own flat he returns to the phone “Sorry about him” he says light-heartedly

“No worries”

“How are you? Did I catch you at a bad time, you seemed rather out of puff” he asks with a small chuckle, although you know him well enough to hear the small worry laced in there, nerbous incase you were busy and he disturbed you

You shake your head before realising he can’t actually see that “No you didn’t, I was just getting in and I was rushing because I could hear the phone from outside” you cringe as your face heats up, sure that he can feel the warm radiating through the phone

“You’re adorable you know that?” he says endearingly

Cue heart flutter “You’re adorable” you mutter back

That earns a soft laugh from him “So, did you call just to check in?” you ask smiling away

“Yes, but I was also wondering…” you can feel his smirk through the phone

“Wondering what?” merlin did you love his voice

“Did you get the sunflowers I sent you yesterday?” he confirms

You pout looking around “I didn’t” he can definitely hear the disappointed pout that taked over your face

“I had them send to the door” he informs you

“Yesterday?” you check knowing you weren’t in and when he hums in agreement you realise “Oh I was out with Marlene and Dorca, I stayed at theirs…one minute it might be at the door” you put down the phone

Remus smiles to himself as he hears you shuffle over to the door, it distantly opening followed by a cute squeal which makes his heart burst and decide to give you an extra surprise

You were practically jumping up and down in the hall as you saw the beautiful pot of sunflowers, you felt so happy, your heart going wild. Last week you had been walking by a field of them with Remus on a day out and said they were your favourite since they always make you smile.

You held them close to your chest, not hearing the fireplace in the next room as you returned to the phone “Oh my god Rem I love them! And you so, so, much I can’t believe you remembered” you say excitedly “Rem?” you say but there is no answer 

“I’m glad you like them” Remus’ voice comes from behind you making you drop the receiver and almost the pot as it slips from your hands but luckily he catches it “Sorry love” he chuckles, holding one end of the pot when you hold the other

“You scared me” you start giggling with mock annoyance on your face before you fully register “Wait...you’re here” you light up shuffling closer to him, the flowers at the side of your bodies

He smiles brightly at you “I’m here” he pinches your cheek ever so lightly as he looks lovingly at you

“What did I do to earn myself a boyfriend like you” you look at him a happy disbelief a smile on your face that wouldn’t be leaving any time soon

His cheeks tint with a light blush “I ask myself the same every day” he cups your cheek, thumb tracing over your features softly like he’s painting them on “I love you my little sunflower” he says leaning down to nudge his nose with yours

“Love you more” you smile as you move your lips to brush with his

He shakes his head ever so slightly “Not possible” his lips tickle yours before he captures them in a meaningful slow kiss only broken when the flower tickles the side of your faces making you pull back laughing lightly

You giggle more as you take one of the flowers by the stem and gently make the petals tickle Remus, his nose scrunching up cutely as you do.

He was about to say something before you heard footsteps entering the room, both of you looking over to see Sirius holding up two identical bags “Sorry to barge in future Mrs Moony but sable or onyx?” he looks at you expectantly before seeing the pot “Oh cute flowers very you…wait…what’s the colour of the middle bit that’s perfect”

You walked with a book in hand towards one of the old court yards, it was still winter but this one had a charm on it to keep it warm. You loved reading there, especially when the flutter of snow gently hit the ward placed over the open roof.

As you drew closer you heard music, a guitar playing and the soft hum drifting through the corridor. As you peered into the courtyard, you smiled at the sight, James Potter sitting under one of the trees strumming away with a pencil in his mouth

You watched as he played a cord or two then jotted something down on a bit of paper, you slowly approached, hearing him murmur a lyric to himself before he notices you “Hi” he says a little stunned, clearly not expecting anyone to come by

“Hi” you greet with a soft smile

You and he were friendly but only got to speak on occasion due to the house difference. You had a rather large crush on him, his cheeky smile, handsome face and those feelings had just increased with that guitar in his arms

“I didn’t know you played” you say walking closer to him stopping little ways from the tree in case he didn’t want company

James smiles up at you, hand discreetly going to hide the paper that had your name on the top of it “It was actually Sirius’ but he didn’t have the patience to learn this summer so I sort of stole it” he confesses

You giggle warming the boy’s heart “It sounded good, are you writing your own song?” you tilt your head

He nods “Yeah, just trying to find the right words to go with the melody” he explains

“Can I join you?”

He nods, watching as you take a seat in front of him

“What’s the song about?”

You, he thinks as his eyes trace your features “It’s a song for someone special” he says truthfully, watching as you smile but a kind of sadness washes over your eyes

Bet it’s for Lily, you think “Have you written any other songs?” you ask in hope of hearing one

“Sadly that’s the first but I did learn how to play a couple muggle songs…if you want to hear” he adds looking a little nervous in case you told him no

“I’d love to” 

His face lights up as his heart flutters, shifting onto his side to pull out his pick “This might sound silly but do you know the Beatles?” he bites his lip

“Yeah” you smile brightly 

He has cheeky grin on his face as he brings to strum while your eyes sparkle at him, shifting on the grown to hug your knees, resting your chin on them. You knew the song before the first lyric is sung, watching the boy with such admiration

Here comes the sun, doo-doo-doo-doo

You giggle quietly as he bobs his head cutely at the doo’s, an act which helps his confidence grow

It's all right

He had never played for anyone besides the other marauders and his mum, the idea of playing for anyone else was terrifying, but seeing you in the corner of his eye, that beautiful smile on your face made it less scary

You sighed in relief as you and the boys finished the last of the glass containers in the DADA classroom “Can we go?” Sirius asks your professor

“Not quite, since you all decided to skip yesterday’s lesson to turn the Ravenclaw’s quidditch gear pink…” you all start sniggering before shutting up as the man glares “…you lot missed our lesson on boggarts, therefore one of you must volunteer to cast the Riddikulus charm on theirs…only then are you free to leave” he says smugly looking at the five of you “So, who will it be?”

Remus and Sirius collapse into themselves, you knew why, James and your boyfriend also looked a little nervous so you decided to go for it, hoping they’ll remember that the next time you ask them for something “I do it” you volunteer

Stepping towards the rattling wardrobe you pulled out your wand, you really had no clue what was going to come out “Ready?” he asks

“No” you half scoff gaining chuckles from your friends and a small eye roll from your professor

He opens the wardrobe, at first nothing happens and a part of you hoped the boggart decided to go on vacation, but then little things started scurrying out of it…rats! A swarm of them coming towards you, nope fuck this, you think as you scramble onto the nearest desk yelling as you go

“Ew no, ew…no no no nope-ity nope” you squeal shaking as you stand on the desk the rats running around in a circle around it “Please do something” you bounce up and down on the desk hoping your friends would help but they’re…laughing?

Sirius and James have lost it, bent over in contagious laughter while Remus’ lips are pressed together as he tries his best to contain his, your boyfriend however looks mildly nervous, okay mild was an understatement, maybe was he scared of them too?

“Pete help please!” you plead gaining his attention, fluttering your eyelashes his face softens 

“Use the charm pumpkin, imagine them wearing little hats or something” he suggests even if there is an evident lump in his throat

You nod taking your wand and picturing all of them with little top hats “Riddikulus” you say but nothing happens, you bounce a little more on the balls of your feet psyching yourself up before trying again “Riddikulus…yes!” you celebrate as the rats run back into the wardrobe with cute little top hats…they still freaked you out but at least they looked amusing now

“Well done miss Y/l/n…” you teacher nods closing the wardrobe and locking it “Now get off of my desk and out of my class room” he eyes you and the boys, his tone light hearted

Sirius and James turn to Peter as you slip off of the desk bashfully “I know what I’m buying you for Christmas” James teases

“Oh…” Sirius taps James arm quickly “…get a monocle too”

“Shut up” Peter hushes as you join his side “Hi Pumpkin” he gives you a cringy smile

“That was something” you giggle “I’m getting you lot back for laughing at me though” you point at them before turning to your boyfriend “Can we get out of here rats give me the heebie-jeebies” you shiver clutching onto his arm making the boys chuckle “Stop it” you pout

“Course” Peter says giving the boys a weird look as he heads to the door the boys parting and bowing as he passes

“I tip my hat to you” James gestures as if he has a hat earing a discreet elbow to the gut as Peter passes him

As you exit you turn to Peter “What was that about?” you ask confused

You twirled your drink as you sat alone on one of the couches, you weren’t one for parties, you were more of a little hermit that read books and lived in her own world. Your friend had dragged you here in an attempt to get you out of the house before completely abandoning you to go chase after some girl she had a crush on back at Hogwarts. You didn’t really recognise anyone, only people that you recognised were James and Lily but you didn’t know them well enough to talk to, so here you were sitting alone.

Looking over at one of the couches across the room you saw a couple cuddling, you smiled but it felt bittersweet, you loved little things like that, the small touches that could mean nothing to most but everything to someone like you. Your last relationship was years ago, you missed the feeling of being held in someone’s arms and it wasn’t just the touch but the affection and warmth which accompanied it that made you feel whole. You hadn't felt whole in a long time

“What’s a pretty girl like you sitting alone?” you hear a voice say before feeling the couch dip next to you but you assume it’s for someone else, and keep your eyes on the couple

That was until the body shifted closer, your legs touching and you felt a hand on your shoulder “Let me guess that’s your ex?” he says following your eyes to the happy duo

Your head spins to look at him “No I-” your words lose you as realise your proximity to this stranger…was he a stranger? He looked familiar yet something was throwing you off

“You’re trying to figure out who I am aren’t you?” he says starting to smirk

You nod

“Had that a lot tonight, must be the beard” he gestures to his facial hair “Sirius Black darlin” he winks

Your eyes widen, remembering the boy now, merlin he was pretty before but now he was stupidly so “I’m…” you start

“Y/n” he replies with a smile “You were in my herbology class. I must say you were cute then but you’re much cuter now” he smiles at you

You feel your cheeks getting hot so your gaze returns to your plastic cup “Thank you” you accept it shyly, it wasn’t so much the compliment that was making you flustered but the fact Sirius arm had slithered it’s way along the couch behind you, lingering mere millimetres from being on your shoulder and the tension was tantalus

“So back to my second to original question” he takes a sip of his beer “One of them your ex?” he nods to the couple

You shake your head “No I was just admiring how happy they looked all...cosy” you glance at them then to the man next to you smiling

He tilts his head with a quirk of a smile “They do look happy” he notes looking at them then back at you, eyes trailing down your seated figure

You hum “How have you been since Hogwarts?” you ask after a few seconds of comfortable silence

“So so” he bobs his head “Yourself?”

“So so” you mimic his movements 

He chuckles “Can I ask you something?” you nod “You still with that guy then?” he asks referring to your one, and only, ex

You shake your head “I’m not, we broke up the start of 7th year but we remained friends so a lot of people didn’t notice” you shrug “We were just weren’t ever well suited”

You were well over it now, if anything you were over it before it even ended, he wasn't a stickler for the simple things like you.

“What about you and Remus? I heard you and he were you know” you ask knowing from your friend the two had started dating again after graduation

“Didn’t work out” he says simply, no malice in his tone “He’s still my best mate though, besides he found a better match” he nods to the boy in question standing with James and Lily with another boy you recognised, you were pretty sure his name started with a G

“So, your single and I’m single” you note quietly

“You know if I’d known you were single back then I would have asked you out” he says casually but his eyes flick over your face as if he’s making sure your comfortable, smiling as you smile

“Really?” you ask, disbelief painted on your face that Sirius Black fancied you

His arm finally shifts down onto your shoulder the contact making yours and Sirius eyes flutter closed for a second “Yeah” he says purely “I happen tohave found and still find you attractive, plus you were always the cutest to watch in class, hence why I forced Worm…Pete to sit at the back so I could see you easier” he confesses not sounding embarrassed but a light blush does appear on his cheeks

You smile “I found and find you attractive too” you admit making him grin and lean into you, hip to hip

You stay like that for a while, taking occasional sips from your respective drinks. Your heart was fluttering, feeling at peace for the first time in a long while, the constant comfort from his touch was wonderful.

It was the same for Sirius, he was a touchy person just like you, but besides the sporadic one night stand he didn’t get opportunities to just enjoy someone’s company. It felt like he was complete finding someone that enjoyed it too, and didn't mistake it for clinginess

After a few more mintues Sirius looks over at you, eyes tracing your features. You feel his gaze so you turn your head to face him, letting your eyes wander down to his lips as he does with your own before returning to each other’s eyes. Without breaking eye contact he places down his drink and yours, then takes his, now free, hand to cup your cheek, loving the way you lean and hum into it. 

It’s a beautiful kiss, the way Sirius’ fingers lightly caress your cheek, thumb rubbing over your bottom lip before they retreat down to you jaw and softly bring your lips to meet. Moving together slowly, in sync, savouring the others taste. His hand drops from outlining your jaw to take your hand and interlace them, both of you rubbing circles on the others knuckles with your thumb

From afar some people notice the two of you, the kiss doesn’t seem that of two strangers but perhaps of starved souls that complemented each other. It’s sweet, easy to watch.

When you finally break apart, you lean your forehead on his to catch your breaths before smiling and returning to conversation. Your hands never stopping their movements, your legs remain pressed together and his arm around your shoulder securing you both in an embrace that wasn’t ending any time soon

James loved quidditch, he really did but practice in the late spring heat was dire. He felt sticky, beyond sweaty and he could actually smell himself, his hair was flat from his helmet, sticking to his face, he just felt...gross

As he made a beeline for the showers he spotted you walking over to greet him, looking cute in your shirt and light cardigan, blue tie slightly loosened for comfort, smiling away

His discomfort seconds prior was forgotten, all he wanted nay needed was to hug you, hold you and kiss your entire face…and he wonders why people think he’s clinging, luckily for him you just adored it

“Hi Jamie!” you greet him as you drew closer “How was…ooo” you don’t have time to get the question out as he practically runs up and scoops you into his arms, spinning you around as he hugs you tightly 

You don’t fight it just squeal into him as you hold on for dear life, eventually he puts you down, watching as you look a little dazed from the spinning “Hi sweets…you alright?” he asks with a chuckle as he cups your cheek watching as you blink a good few times before answering

“Mhm” you smile at him before your face contorts “You’re sweaty” you note with a smile, you don’t look completely repulsed but it’s clear given the choice you would have preferred him to shower

“I am but I couldn't just walk by and not say hi to my favourite little bird now?” he scrunches up his nose wiggling it in front of you as he smiles

You giggle “Well now you’ve said hi, are you going to shower because I was hoping we could sneak off on an adventure since it’s a nice day”

“Yes, but there is something far more important I need to do first” he says with a serious expression making you blink and pout up at him 

“What?” you say a little deflated

He grins “This” he grips your cheeks a little tighter as he pulls your face up to meet his, messily capturing your lips in a rather passionate kiss

Once the initial shock was over you kissed him back with the same passion, even if you could feel the moisture on his face and he tasted a bit salty from the sweat. His hands moved down to untuck your shirt so he could rub his thumbs over the edge where your skirt and bare skin met

“I love you so frickin much” he says as you break away, planting one, two, three extra kisses before he properly pulls back

You smile into the kisses “I love you too” you say before stepping back “Now show me that love by showering” 

He chuckles nodding then his face flashes with mischief, grabbing your hand and pulling you with him “Where are you taking me?” you pout making him stop and turn back briefly

“You wanted me to show my love by showering, ergo we are going to make love in the showers sweets”

You move to perch on the desk in front of him as he pushes his chair out “This can’t leave this room” you ask kindly of him to which he nods wholeheartedly “I was once in engaged to Barty Crouch Jr” you inform him observing how his eyebrows pinch and face subtly contorts at the name of a man that helped tortured two of his friends towards permanent insanity

He opens his mouth but closes it soon after, trying to process the information “You had no idea either until…”

“The trial...quite” you nod, internally grimacing at the memory “He was the sweetest man I’d ever known, had a soft spot for things, his family elf…me” you swallow hard, even after all this time you did believe he loved you, he just had the wrong people around him and you were powerless to help, too caught up in your love to see the signs “He was loving, once he cried when he thought he’d hit a bird with a bludger” your lips tug up for a mere second

“Sirius made me feel alive, like I had a future” Remus laughs through his nose as his eyes glass over “Made me love things that I had always hated about myself, I really thought he…but I guess I was mistaken” there's no bitterness in his voice, just pure unadulterated heartbreak

“You aren’t” you say surprising him “It was real, both versions you have of him are real, the good and the bad...we just don’t see the bad side coming because the highs are so good” you say sadly “So you have to kill the mind, kill the what ifs which swarm your head, the motives that drove them, questioning why your love wasn't pure enough to keep them in the light. It’s the only way to survive” 

Remus looks at you in sorrow, both of you living half alive as the ones you loved ripped your hearts out and took them to rot in Azkaban “Surviving isn’t living” he says with a heavy heart

Your eyes flick to him “It isn’t, but what else can we do”

James and you look down the hall watching as the younger Lastrange brother and his little gang saunder down it only to have red goo dropped on them, all screeching while you and James snigger “Just wait for it” you squeeze his arm

Your boyfriends smirk widens as the Slytherins clothes and hair, even their eyebrows and facial hair turn a cherry red “Holy shit” he says quietly 

“The student has become the master” you smile proudly bringing his knuckles up to kiss softly “Oh and that’s not the end” you say ominously, turning your head to look at him as he raised an eyebrow for you to elaborate “I snuck into their dorms and put the same charm on all of their clothes and the dye charm for their hair is laced with real muggle dye so it will take around two months to fade” you smirk wickedly

His mouth parts “You’re despicable…” he says seriously before he starts grinning “…but I love you, and that brilliant brain of yours” he kisses all over your face making you squeal a little

“Jamie” you giggle before you both freeze as a voice booms down the hall

Sirius and reader have been friends for years, they got together at one point sirius just saw it as a bit of fun but y/n was secretly in love with him, sirius left her for some other girl and y/n pretended not to be heartbroken, they stayed friends but now there's some ball thing at hogwarts and she has to watch him dance with this other girl and it's too upsetting so she leaves, Regulus notices her leaving and goes after her because he understands how unintentionally hurtful sirius can be. The next day siri notices she hasn't been back to her dorm and he recalls seeing her leave very early with Reg and completely jumps to the wrong conclusion and the next time he sees her pulls her aside asking to talk to her and ends up shouting at her infront of everyone. Umm you can decide if she tells him the truth about loving him or if they make friends again or if she just decides to distance herself from sirius?

You didn’t know how you ended up here, crying in the middle of the corridor as the boy you loved accused you in front of the whole school. Everyone was looking at you, some stopping on their way to breakfast just to watch while others cruelly running to get people and bringing them to come watch the ‘show’. 

“Siri, I don’t under-” he cuts your sobs off 

“Don’t understand what y/n? Staying out all night to shag my brother?” he exclaims making the people around gasp in shock, Sirius Blacks best friend hooking up with his brother whom he was the opposite of on good terms with, now that was gossip

You weren’t entertained as the crowd; your heart was breaking and just when you thought the boy couldn’t break it anymore. The thing is you knew Sirius, you knew, he was the king of overreacting, you knew he jumped to conclusions and usually the wrong ones at that, but what you were so hurt by was the public confrontation. The embarrassment of being labelled a backstabber in front of the whole school when you had done nothing wrong, when if anything this was Sirius’ fault…

No, it wasn’t his fault, not really, it wasn’t his fault he didn’t see your hook-ups the same way you did, it wasn’t his fault the reason you were out all night was because you were crying in an empty hallway over a boy who only saw you as his best friend, saw those beautiful few months as casual fun

“Nothing happened” you shake your head tears freely flowing down your cheeks

Sirius looked at you as if he was conflicted, like he did believe you but he was too angry in that moment, or maybe he wasn’t sure if you were crying over being caught or the accusation, whatever it was he maintained his argument “Then what happened y/n? Because last I saw was Regulus with his arm around you leaving the ball, and then you never returned to your dorm this morning” his voice is strained like the words where physically hurting him 

How did he know that, sure, you were house mates but how would he know, he would have been staying with his girlfriend last night “Sirius I don’t know what you think you saw but…” your words are quiet, not wanting to make more off a scene but as you see the hungry eyes of the on lookers your throat closes up

Sirius’ eyes never leave yours, you weren’t sure if he had even noticed the crowd or not “Then tell me” he insists his voice harsher than he meant slight fear in his eyes before they hardened again “Y/n” he pushes, you felt like you were trapped, collapsing into yourself, the pressure eating you alive, the secret eating you alive “Tell me!” 

That was it, you snapped the words tumbling out before you could stop them “I left because of you!” you shout back causing Sirius to flinch at your tone, shock on his face as you had never raised your voice at him before “I left because I couldn’t take it anymore and Reg could relate to my situation!” you let out a sob 

“Relate to what?” he looks at you confused

“Relate to loving someone that will never love you back!” his eyes widened, mouth parting at your statement as his face softened into regret…pity…you didn’t care to venture a guess, the reality of what you just said was crashing down on you and you had to get out of there

You frantically look around the crowd as you walk backwards, beginning to retreat from the situation “Y/n?” Sirius tries to reach out but you keep stepping back “Y/n, w-what do you mean?” 

“What do I mean?” your voice was softer now, quiet like the world had disappeared and it was only the two of you again “Siri…I…” you meet his eyes, seeing the pieces in his brains falling into place but he needed vocal confirmation, and you needed to say finally say those three little words “I love you” you whisper loud enough for him to hear

You couldn’t meet his eyes after that, walking backwards you bump into someone, turning around you realised who it was, it was her, the girl that did own Sirius’ heart “What’s going on?” she looks between the two of you

“I…” your breathing quickened seeing the marauders finally showing up in the corner of your eye, as well as Regulus who gives you a sympathetic look “Umm” you couldn’t form words so instead you pushed past her crying your heart out, running to the only place you felt safe

Sirius watched you leave, face pale looking almost sick as he was frozen in place “Sirius?” his girlfriend calls out hurt in her eyes

He glances between her and your retreating figure, he now had a decision to make

After the war George was half alive, he couldn’t laugh anymore, barley smiled, and when he did it was short lived, feeling guilty for enjoying anything without his twin. He knew Fred wouldn’t want him to be like this, he would want him to be happy but he just…couldn’t. He looked at his reflection he saw Fred, and every day for the last 5 years he imagined opening up his door to see him, ready to brag about how this was his greatest prank, but it would never happen. 

There was one other person George hadn’t seen in 5 years. The last time he saw you was when he cried into your arms in a corridor just down from the great hall. You were in tears as well, losing your best friend and blaming yourself for turning your back one second too long and not seeing the wall until it had fallen.

Over those years he wanted to contact you, at first he didn’t, he refused to anyone for the first few months. However as the years went on he found himself thinking about you more often. He even imagined you talking to him from time to time, telling to get up, to eat, even making quick jokey comments to him like you used to.

At present he was headed into a coffee shop for much need caffeine, the only thing that could help him put on his show face for the shop. As he walked in he wasn’t really paying attention, crashing directly into someone waiting in the small line, his taller body almost knocking the poor person over but lucky he grabs their shoulders as they spin around to steady them

“I’m so so…sorry” he starts to apologise saying the last word slowly as he recognises the person instantly, it was you

His lips tugged up, you looked so beautiful, a little flustered from almost being run over but that only added to it. He watched as you where about to speak but stopped yourself and tilted you head, he was surprised you didn’t know it was him right away but then he remembered

“You look silly as a brunette Georgie” you giggle as you speak, a warm smile on your face

His lips formed a smile, a chuckle escaping his lips as you were still you, that little bit of mischief that glinted in your eye still shining. The same glint that reminded him of Fred, yet as he saw you he didn't fell sad at the reminder, he felt happy, he could only see the good memories of you and his twin

“Rude” he rebuts making you giggle more, he then removes his hands form your shoulders and cupping your face “Is it really you? It’s been so long since I last saw you” he asks in a minor disbelief

You grin at him “Ooo you got me” you put your hands up making him retract his own and watch your actions fondly “I’m not the real y/n, there no fooling old Georgie. Now, if you give me two shakes I can go get the real one” you jest

He barks a real laugh, unforced and free, laughing like he didn’t care who was there, something his brother would be proud to hear after all this time

“You haven’t changed a bit”

You mock annoyance as you step back progressing forward in the line “I’m offended, I have grown at least a centimetre and am much prettier in my old age” you place your hands over your cheeks doing a little pose before you laugh

“Give me a second” he holds out his hand flat, measuring your head to his body “I think you are mistaken my lovely you have shrunk by a good few inches” he smirks, his heart warming and breaking out of the cold frozen exterior it had been trapped behind

“Now I really am offended Georgie, but I am lovely…and I’m still your one” you wink turning to greet the server

Still your one, his heart fluttered…it fluttered like it was finally beating again, becoming alive one more. You and he had always had a connection, somethingthe war didn’t give you both time to explore. Perhaps this encounter was a chance, for you and he to explore it and for him to begin again, so as you were about to speak he butted in

“It’s on me, you can get the next one my lovely”
