Let’s talk about “Car Wash the Soundtrack” a work of art, from the mind of Producer Norman Whitfield, who years prior had brought some gritty funk to Motown.

- This whole album was driven by a bass line that I’m sure blew out plenty of speakers in 1976!

- Rose Royce was the group that was lucky enough, and talented enough to work with Whitfield and provide us with songs that we still play and love all these many years later.

Zylvan Vedeil || She/Her

(art/design a collab between @ RoseRoyce on TH and myself on @indig0tea 's base)

Professional tailor, and hobbyist seamstress. Zylvan enjoys working with fabric and people, nothing brings her more joy than helping trolls get the perfect fit or alteration to strut confidently in the clothes they're wearing.

While she has the funds and growing reputation to open her own tailoring shop, she feels owning and running a business would take too much time from her work and projects, so she is happy to simply be an employee.

She never leaves hive without her chatelaine, several spools of thread, and a spot cleaner, prepared for any minor wardrobe disaster.

Her own wardrobe is dominated by velvet, suede, and pewter. She loves the decadent soft textures, and fell in love with the metal from the set of pewter silverware and goblets passed down to her by her Ancestor. Silver is an acceptable substitute if she finds a piece she couldn't otherwise get, and she understands it's the "better" and more expensive metal, but the brighter cooler tone and lighter weight don't appeal to her as much.

In her previous iteration she was going to be a villain, killing trolls and taking her favorite parts to sew into "dolls" for a collection, but I'm just not as interested in that storyline anymore. So I've nixed it and just went harder into the sewing aspect haha
