The Road Runners

Road Runners  is Ireland's Outdoor Sports Company. We are a professional organization with a team of full-time outdoor sports events experts, based in Wicklow, Co Dublin. 

Our Sports events track record, including: Energizers Run, Run in the Dark, Active Family and Adventure Weekend. 

Who are Road Runners for? 

Road Runners  was created to integrate people who are active on a daily basis or looking to change something in their life.

We attract people who have office job  and want to get away on weekends and people who train all kinds of sports.

The event is attended by families, groups of friends and enthusiasts of extreme experience.

Road Runners company objectives are following:

1.Promoting sports with children, youth and adults,

2. Improving physical condition through outdoor training and training in places properly prepared,

3. Use of natural field obstacles when building a training route,

4. Health promotion thorough sports;

5. Awareness participants of the influence of healthy lifestyle on social relations;

6.Learning in achieving the objectives, building a high level of awareness and developing a high level of        confidence; 

7.Teaching players features of proactivity.

Many of you wonder if you can manage our  extreme run events. 

If you are able to walk 6 km, you can easily do it. 

I can assure you that this race is for you !

We create the route and obstacles in such a way that everyone can cope - alone or with the help of others. In case of problems with any obstacle, you can count on someone running behind or in front of you to give you a lift or to pull you in.

You have nothing to be afraid of, if you do not exercise every day.  The most important for us, is that you have fun and be able to go a little outside of your comfort zone. Friendships made in demanding, but positive and fun conditions are of great value. Such events leave memories for a lifetime.

We assure you will not regret participating in our events!

O meu primeiro UTMB Ultra Trail du Mont-Blanc UTMB 📌 171.6 KM🪜10.091D+⌛31:46:04 Mais uma prova internacional feita e esta sendo a competição com mais destaque pela Elite Mundial do Trail num cenário de alta montanha simplesmente incrível num círcuito em torno do Monte Branco que atravessa a França, Itália e Suíça. Este meu primeiro UTMB completa então o meu desejo de realizar o trio de provas de 3 digitos a solo para o qual tenho estado fisicamente e psicológicamente preparado: TDS em 2019 CCC em 2021 UTMB em 2022 Sobre esta jornada em si poderia falar muito, desculpar-me e tornar público porque não consegui o meu objetivo extra (sonho) que tinha em mente mas de facto a verdade é que eu estava muito bem treinado pelo @rebelo.rui e nunca poderia apontar-lhe falhas no processo. Pelo contrário só tenho a agradecer todo o trabalho que ele faz e que me tem tanto potenciado. O objectivo principal foi superado que é de ser Finisher por isso estou feliz e realizado sendo que os próximos dias/semanas são importantes para a recuperação rumo à Diagonale de Fous. Isto significa então que esta jornada ainda não acabou e por isso vai ter de continuar o empenho no treino que eu tanto adoro. Quero deixar uma palavra à minha estimada equipa, representada em Chamonix pelo @nunno_sanntos e @hugo.fferreira no UTMB, @catiajcs78 no OCC e ao mestre @didier.valente via remoto. Obrigado! Bem diferente a aventura este ano face ao ano passado! ☺️🙏😍 Por fim obrigado ao @luis.mendes445 e à @flor_y_doki que me deram assistência pessoal durante a prova e ainda me receberam na meta quase às 2h da manhã.
