Ponyo's Character & Personality

Ponyo was originally named Brunhilde. She's the eldest daughter of a sea goddess and an underwater sorcerer. In human form, Ponyo is a very happy and rambunctious five-year-old little girl. She's quite curious about the surface world and finds everything about surface-life fascinating, to the point she wants to become human. Ham is her favorite food and she absolutely loves her friend Sôsuke. However, Ponyo is stubborn and prone to throwing tantrums when she doesn't get her way.

Most Favorite Book:

The First Sister Trilogy by Linden A Lewis

I’m reading the last book of the trilogy right now, but The First Sister, The Second Rebel, and The Last Hero might be my new favorite book series. A Space Opera. Two factions: Earth & Mars vs Venus & Mercury. Science & Technology vs Spirituality & Tradition. Told from various POVs that are interconnected. Hierarchy, scandal, and government coverups. 10/10 recommend. (This series has good narrators on Audible if you want an audio experience while reading like I sometimes do).

Most Difficult Book:

Black Leopard, Red Wolf by Marlon James

This book didn’t list any trigger warnings, but quite literally hit all of them. Not a book for the weak. Extremely brutal, heavy, and hard to digest topics. I so badly wanted to DNF this one, but I’m not a quitter. Very difficult to understand the way it was written, too. Had to listen to the audio book as I read along to help comprehend. But I did appreciate the difficulty and the African lore. Not sure I will read the sequel.

Most Enjoyable Book:

They Never Learn by Layne Fargo

I mean, who doesn’t love a woman professor who secretly murders male students that get away with SA with their classmates? The twist was good and I honestly didn’t make the connection until it slapped me in the face. Also wlw representation. Really highlights the fury many of us feel when boys get away with this ish.

Most Meaningful Book

The Cat Who Saved Books by Sôsuke Natsukawa

Super sweet, heartwarming read. A little bit of grief mixed in with a love of books and a dying bookstore. Saved by a magical cat and a boy.

Most Conceptually Intriguing

Hench by Natalie Zina Walschots

Commentary on how heroes actually do the most damage, but told in a fun, superhero world way. I think if anyone likes marvel or dc, they should read this. This concept was really interesting and was nice to see a “villain’s” POV. The ending irritated me, though.

I started a lot of interesting reads this year, too, but won’t have them finished in time. So here’s to some good reads in 2023!

Hello! Again with the Danganronpa trend, now this time... OCs!

These students are from the Reserve Course Department, and even though I am aware that it is technically a normal-like high school with high tuition fees, I decided to add some extra and it has a special classroom for students who can't pay. It has jobs that are for monetary gain, but it has a student applicance limit of 30 students.

The Classroom is called 'Specialized Classroom for Financial Reward', or for short Class 255.

Oh, by the way, the following students are family members of other Ultimates (graduates and current students).

First off, meet Zaruko Murasame, he is Sôshun Murasame's younger brother. He may look way younger than he is but is really strong and smart regardless of his appearance.

Remembering that Canon!Akane Owari's FTE, she said that she has a lot of siblings and even if she knows and takes care for a couple of them, she doesn't remember ALL of them, so Ryuu is one of her siblings who was accidentally forgotten by her but he managed to survive and get a new place with his hard work. He joined the Reserve Course to get extra money.

Taro is Kiriko Nishizawa's younger brother, he is pretty withdrawn, not social except with his sister. That changed when he was sent to the Reserve Course by his family, he became a little more social with others in there.

Suzu Nakamura is Great Gozu's niece, since it is unknown Great Gozu's real last name, I decided to give them the Nakamura last name. She is also a fighter like her uncle but not a high recognized wrestler like him, she did want to try and win her own money and not depend from her family, hence why she joined the Reserve Course special classroom.

Taeko is Suzuko Kashiki's older twin sister. She has a moderate OCD due to an accident with her twin during their preteens; she is extremely clean, hates the mess and she is strong for her size due to moving a lot of heaving things when cleaning. She joined the Reserve Course because her sister wanted her close, and she is the one who gets more reward in cleaning jobs.

Ryoko is Tomohiko Gôryoku's fraternal twin sister, she and her brother were trained by the mafia, so they both are quite muscular for the extensive work. Only Tomohiko managed to gain an Ultimate level talent with his knownledge, but Ryoko still accompanied him to Hope's Peak, only in the Reserve Course, class 255.

It is weird to say this but, Saeko and Sôsuke Ichino are actually niece-uncle. Sôsuke was the extremely last unexpected child that the Ichino marriage had just about the same time that their middle daughter had Saeko. Saeko is a fashionista, she is attentive about new trends and she made her own clothes; she went to the Reserve Course because she can sell her creations or help people to fix their clothes.

The Super High School Level Assault Team shown in Hope Arc of Danganronpa Anime have characters without names but with talents, so I thought about this character Noriko Matsui being the younger sister of the SHSL Street Performer and by the way, I gave him a name too: Dairoku Matsui. Anyways, Noriko learned and worked as a personal nurse for her brother since he got injured a lot of times during his preteens and teen age due to his work as a street performer.

Kaori is Aiko Umesawa's cousin, she is a walking disaster when it comes to handmade things like clothing, artcraft, painting and anything related to it; she is good at cooking but never ask her to decorate a cake. Her main job qualities on the Class 255 are organizing stuff, disassembling mechanical stuff and cleaning.

Asukasei Hino and Rei Hino are cousin on a one-sided war, Rei is an unrecognized prodigy in sports, meanwhile Asukasei is a recognized prodigy in executive financial section (an accountant), this difference doesn't stop Asukasei from feeling below his cousin, mostly due to being weaker in physical stuff. Rei doesn't care about Asukasei fighting him, he often considers the fight as a child-like behavior, even when both are teens and soon-to-be adults.

Anyways! The Class 255 is Nagito's classroom because yeah, he is the SHSL All-field Professor who teaches on the Reserve Course. And he adores them.

ponyo, gadis ikan mas kecil yang ingin menjadi manusia.

nama asli ponyo adalah brünhilde. ponyo merupakan putri dari manusia bernama fujimoto yang overprotective dan dewi granmamare. ponyo penasaran tentang dunia permukaan dan bermimpi untuk menjadi manusia setelah bertemu dengan sôsuke, seorang anak manusia kecil. sôsuke memberinya nama "ponyo", yang merupakan onomatope dari suara yang dihasilkan oleh materi elastis tubuhnya ketika dia masih dalam bentuk ikan. ponyo punya obsesi dengan ham. tubuhnya mengalami metamorfosis dari bentuk primitifnya sebagai jinmengyo menjadi hangyojin hingga menjadi manusia sepenuhnya. hangyojin adalah bentuk perantara ponyo. istilah ini menggambarkan manusia yang belum sepenuhnya manusia. ketika ponyo menjadi manusia sepenuhnya, dia bisa merasa lelah dan bisa kembali ke bentuk hangyojin-nya.

WHY DO I LOVE PONYO?

first of all, ponyo is soooo cute T____T she is so lovely and adorable. saatnya mengapresiasi ponyo yang punya keinginan kuat untuk jadi manusia dan "keras kepala" sama keinginan ini. pokoknya dia akan tetap perjuangin keinginannya (also sôsuke). pada akhirnya, dia berhasil bersama-sama dengan sôsuke membuktikan bahwa cinta mereka tulus sehingga keseimbangan alam pun terjaga. YEAY!

Avis sur l'anime Skip to Loafer

Je m'attendais pas à spécialement à grand chose de cet anime je me suis dit que ça allait être un anime sympa et sans plus. Et au final j'ai pas mal aimé, premièrement j'aime beaucoup l'approche de l'histoire qui est plus terre terre, ça rend les personnages plus humains. Tout d'abord Mitsumi qui se rend à dans un lycée à Tokyo pour être fonctionnaire de sa ville natale. C'est une fille assez sérieuse et studieuse mais qui angoisse souvent au quart de tour. En chemin elle rencontre Sôsuke qui est plus décontracté qu'elle. Et la dymanique ainsi que leurs interactions sont amusantes et sympas à voir, par exemple Sosuke se fiche d'être en retard à la cérémonie d'entée au lycée et sèche les cours contrairement à Mitsumi qui angoisse car elle est en retard. Surtout que comme elle a vécu à la campagne, tout paraît différent pour elle à Tokyo même les gens qui y habitent. Depuis il est devenu distant envers sa mère et même son petit frère qui est trop petit par rapport à lui et ne sait pas comment interagir avec lui. Après les autres personnages ne sont pas en reste, j'avais bien aimé le perso de Yuzu qui au premier abord semble être la fille populaire. Mais en vérité, elle voudrait être amis avec les autres mais les autres basent leur avis sur elle sur son physique sans prendre en compte sa personnalité heureusement que Mitsumi et Mako la voient pour ce qu'elle est. Au début j'aimais pas trop Mika car elle était devenu avec Mitsumi uniquement pour avoir le numéro de Sôsuke mais malgré ses tentatives de flirt envers lui, elle finit par laisser tomber devient vraiment amie avec Mitsumi.

Quand à Sôsuke, c'est un personnage qui s'adapte selon les autres pour rendre sa vie plus simple. Tout en se faisant passer pour un mec sympa même si je sentais une certaine mélancolie émanant de lui. Je sais pas trop comment l'expliquer mais en apparence, il avait l'air heureux et souriant mais à l'intérieur il avait l'air triste. Refusant même de rejoindre le club de théâtre, car il refuse de jouer et garde son passé d' enfant acteur secret. C'est alors que Ririka entre en scène qui est aussi l'ami d'enfance de ce dernier mais aussi mannequin. Et on comprend que l'une des raisons pourquoi il n'est plus acteur, lui et Ririka qui est son mannequin et ami d'enfance ont été impliqué dans un scandale dans lequel ils buvaient de l'alcool avec d'autres acteurs quand ils étaient des pré ado. Du coup Ririka le blâme pour ça, refusant que celui ci soit heureux dans sa vie de lycée . Ce qui est très salaud de sa part, je peux comprendre qu'elle lui en voulait mais c'était pas une raison de rendre sa vie malheureuse. Sauf qu'on apprend par la suite que c'était pas sa faute, ouaip, à la base c'est Ririka qui voulait y aller avec les autres acteurs pour boire de l'alcool. Sôsuke ne voulait pas au début mais Ririka a insisté, à ce moment là ma sympathie pour elle s'est envolé. Elle le blâme pour une faute qu'il a pas commis, disant même qu'il a un sacré culot de vouloir continuer à être heureux dans sa vie de lycéen. Car pour la première fois, il se sent bien ! Et Ririka ne supporte pas ça, elle s'accroche au passé refusant d'aller de l'avant. Puis après on la voit pleurer pour ce qui s'est passé. Désolée mais pour moi c'est une conasse, je déteste les personnes comme elle.

En soi, je vous recommande cet anime, car comme je l'ai dit plus haut je m'attendais pas à grand mais il m'a agréablement surpris.
