i love this version of hannibal because he's still menacing but being in jail brings out a sort of childish quality in him. he just sits there drawing and answers questions with that kind of careless quality that kids have when you're not even sure they're listening to you. and the outfit, his sneakers and shorter hair

My heart breaks for young Sam and Dean. They know their dad is out there fighting evil but never know for sure if he'll come back. They already lost their mom and potentially can lose John due to occupational hazard. Sam crying into the pillow, scared. Dean, equally scared but still has to stay strong for Sam 💔
