Thanks a lot for the get well soon wishes, unfortunately covid is still coursing through my veins atm, making my throat sore and things taste fucking weird and just taking the joy out of life in general. It’s being an excruciatingly long recovery and it sucks ass, period.

NOW THEN onto the dw news, this has been sitting in my inbox for quite a few days so I know this was originally referring to the 14th Doctor announcement, but WELL HOW THE TURN TABLES EH

It’s a lot to take in, so much exciting stuff in less than a month, fuck you RTD for giving me constant heart attacks. Anyway, I have mixed feelings about what’s happening right now but I'm gonna try to sum it all up. First, I’m very happy with Ncuti Gatwa being the choice for Fourteen, even if I haven’t seen literally anything he’s done or been in. He seems very fresh and very gay, which is always a plus. Second, Ten and Donna... oh god, I can’t say I saw it coming, but... I had this feeling that something’d been brewing for a while with the 60th anniversary special, but it still seems impossible to believe! RTD you cheeky fucker. Anyway, I’m not sure what this means in the bigger picture, whether it’s RTD hopping onto the nostalgia train or bringing the most popular dw duo back just for the sake of the audience rate or if he really has a good narrative reason to bring them back. Could be all three. The only thing that’s sure is that this unhinged gay has the power to shake the very foundations of British culture with his pinkie... icon
