java bootcamp ~ 1st week (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)
I got a scholarship at a bootcamp and i chose the fullstack java and angular track which i dont know why i made that choice, but i'm really liking it!
I finally learnt how to use git and reviewed html/css. Then it started getting difficult when i got to a project they gave us that we need to create a pokedex using an API. Only today I learnt that this part is considerated intermediate level orz;; that explain why it feels difficult for me...
The good part is that i can pick another class and they have some javascript exercises, so i decided to change my focus this next week to exercise it more.
oh yeah, their program includes java, angular, sql/nosql and spring, besides html, css and javascript.
my pokedex is looking like this rn, i want to change the color later

A TURN FROM B.Com OR BBA GRADUATE TO
DATA ANALYST
Tumblr media
The business world is changing, and so are the opportunities within it. If you've finished your studies in Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), you might be wondering how to switch into the field of data analysis. Data analysts play an important role these days, finding useful information in data to help with decisions. In this blog post, we'll look at the steps you can take to smoothly change from a B.Com or BBA background to the exciting world of data analysis.
What You Already Know:
Even though it might feel like a big change, your studies in B.Com or BBA have given you useful skills. Your understanding of how businesses work, finances, and how organisations operate is a great base to start from.
Step 1: Building Strong Data Skills:
To make this change, you need to build a strong foundation in data skills. Begin by getting to know basic statistics, tools to show data visually, and programs to work with spreadsheets. These basic skills are like building blocks for learning about data.
I would like to suggest the best online platform where you can learn these skills. Lejhro bootcamp has courses that are easy to follow and won't cost too much.
Step 2: Learning Important Tools:
Data analysts use different tools to work with data. Learning how to use tools like Excel, SQL, and Python is really important. Excel is good for simple stuff, SQL helps you talk to databases, and Python is like a super tool that can do lots of things.
You can learn how to use these tools online too. Online bootcamp courses can help you get good at using them.
Step 3: Exploring Data Tricks:
Understanding how to work with data is the core of being a data analyst. Things like looking closely at data, testing ideas, figuring out relationships, and making models are all part of it. Don't worry, these sound fancy, but they're just different ways to use data.
Step 4: Making a Strong Collection:
A collection of things you've done, like projects, is called a portfolio. You can show this to others to prove what you can do. As you move from B.Com or BBA to data analysis, use your business knowledge to pick projects. For example, you could study how sales change, what customers do, or financial data.
Write down everything you do for these projects, like the problem, the steps you took, what tools you used, and what you found out. This collection will show others what you're capable of.
Step 5: Meeting People and Learning More:
Join online groups and communities where people talk about data analysis. This is a great way to meet other learners, professionals, and experts in the field. You can ask questions and talk about what you're learning.
LinkedIn is also a good place to meet people. Make a strong profile that shows your journey and what you can do. Follow data analysts and companies related to what you're interested in to stay up to date.
Step 6: Gaining Experience:
While you learn, it's also good to get some real experience. Look for internships, small jobs, or freelance work that lets you use your skills with real data. Even if the job isn't all about data, any experience with data is helpful.
Step 7: Updating Your Resume:
When you're ready to apply for data jobs, change your resume to show your journey. Talk about your B.Com or BBA studies, the skills you learned, the courses you took, your projects, and any experience you got. Explain how all of this makes you a great fit for a data job.
Using Lejhro Bootcamp:
When you're thinking about becoming a data analyst, think about using Lejhro Bootcamp. They have a special course just for people like you, who are switching from different fields. The Bootcamp teaches you practical things, has teachers who know what they're talking about, and helps you find a job later.
Moving from B.Com or BBA to a data analyst might seem big, but it's totally doable. With practice, learning, and real work, you can make the switch. Your knowledge about business mixed with data skills makes you a special candidate. So, get ready to learn, practice, and show the world what you can do in the world of data analysis!

What It’s Like to Be a Full Stack Developer: A Day in My Life
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a full stack developer? The world of full stack development is a thrilling and dynamic one, filled with challenges and opportunities to create end-to-end solutions. In this blog post, I’m going to take you through a day in my life as a full stack developer, sharing the ins and outs of my daily routine, the exciting projects I work on, and the skills that keep me at the forefront of technology.
Tumblr media
Morning Ritual: Coffee, Code, and Planning
My day typically begins with a strong cup of coffee and some quiet time for reflection. It’s during this peaceful morning routine that I gather my thoughts, review my task list, and plan the day ahead. Full stack development demands a strategic approach, so having a clear plan is essential.
Once I’m geared up, I dive into code. Mornings are often the most productive time for me, so I use this period to tackle complex tasks that require deep concentration. Whether it’s optimizing database queries or fine-tuning the user interface, the morning is when I make significant progress.
The Balancing Act: Frontend and Backend Work
One of the defining aspects of being a full stack developer is the constant juggling between frontend and backend development. I seamlessly switch between crafting elegant user interfaces and building robust server-side logic.
Tumblr media
In the frontend world, I work with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create responsive and visually appealing web applications. I make sure that the user experience is smooth, intuitive, and visually appealing. From designing layouts to implementing user interactions, frontend development keeps me creatively engaged.
On the backend, I manage server-side scripting languages like Python and Node.js, ensuring that the data and logic behind the scenes are rock-solid. Databases, both SQL and NoSQL, play a central role in the backend, and I optimize them for performance and scalability. Building APIs, handling authentication, and managing server infrastructure are all part of the backend responsibilities.
Collaboration and Teamwork
Full stack development often involves collaborating with a diverse team of developers, designers, and project managers. Teamwork is a cornerstone of success in our field, and communication is key. I engage in daily stand-up meetings to sync up with the team, share progress, and discuss roadblocks.
Tumblr media
Collaborative tools like Git and platforms like GitHub facilitate seamless code collaboration. Code reviews are a regular part of our workflow, ensuring that the codebase remains clean, maintainable, and secure. It’s in these collaborative moments that we learn from each other, refine our skills, and collectively push the boundaries of what’s possible.
Continuous Learning and Staying Updated
Technology evolves at a rapid pace, and staying updated is paramount for a full stack developer. In the afternoon, I set aside time for learning and exploration. Whether it’s delving into a new framework, exploring emerging technologies like serverless computing, or simply catching up on industry news, this dedicated learning time keeps me ahead of the curve. The ACTE Institute offers numerous Full stack developer courses, bootcamps, and communities that can provide you with the necessary resources and support to succeed in this field. Best of luck on your exciting journey!
The Thrill of Problem Solving
As the day progresses, I often find myself tackling unforeseen challenges. Full stack development is, at its core, problem-solving. Debugging issues, optimizing code, and finding efficient solutions are all part of the job. These challenges keep me on my toes and are a source of constant learning.
Evening Reflection: Wrapping Up and Looking Ahead
As the day winds down, I wrap up my work, conduct final code reviews, and prepare for the next day. Full stack development is a fulfilling journey, but it’s important to strike a balance between work and personal life.
Reflecting on the day’s accomplishments and challenges, I’m reminded of the rewarding nature of being a full stack developer. It’s a role that demands versatility, creativity, and adaptability, but it’s also a role that offers endless opportunities for growth and innovation.
Being a full stack developer is not just a job; it’s a way of life. Each day is a new adventure filled with code, collaboration, and the excitement of building end-to-end solutions. While the challenges are real, the satisfaction of creating something meaningful is immeasurable. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be a full stack developer, I hope this glimpse into my daily life has shed some light on the dynamic and rewarding world of full stack development.

As a woman in engineering, I have a few favorite Moments of MenTM:
My grandfather argued with me for over an hour about how I should “use quantum computing instead of basic code-monkey languages to make websites”. I tried to explain to him that you cant make websites with quantum and that it was mostly a theoretical concept anyhow, but I was then told I was definitely incorrect based on an article he’d read in Foreign Affairs that told him quantum computing was the future of “the field”. The field in question? Theoretical physics.
That time my best friend, who ALSO has a computer science and engineering degree but moved into project management after graduation, was told by an engineer on her team that he’d “never be able to describe the issues he faced simply enough, so she should do at least a Sql bootcamp before trying to understand”. It was a very basic issue, which she knew, because she wrote the query he used as a template.

10 Tech Jobs You Can Get Without a Degree (That Actually Pay Well)
Published By Prism HRC – Leading IT Recruitment Agency in Mumbai
Let’s get one thing straight: the idea that you need a degree to work in tech is outdated.
Sure, there are still companies stuck in the “must have BTech or nothing mindset, but the smarter ones? They care about your skills, not your paperwork.
We work with tech recruiters every day, and trust us, if you can do the job well, nobody’s asking what your college attendance sheet looked like.
So, if you’re self-taught, bootcamp-trained, or just switching lanes, here are 10 legit tech jobs that don’t need a degree but absolutely pay like they do.
Tumblr media
1. Web Developer (Frontend / Backend)
Build stuff people actually use websites, dashboards, internal tools, you name it. Most devs we see started with small projects, not classrooms.
Skills you’ll need: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js Salary Range: ₹4–18 LPA Reality check: If you have a decent GitHub and can explain your code, you’re already ahead of most applicants.
2. UI/UX Designer
Good design is invisible, but bad design gets people to uninstall your app in 10 seconds. UX folks make sure that doesn’t happen.
Skills: Figma, design thinking, user flows, wireframes Salary: ₹4–12 LPA Insider tip: Your portfolio is your resume here; don’t skip it.
3. Digital Marketing Specialist
No code. No problem. If you can sell products, grow audiences, or manage ads that convert, you’re already in demand.
Skills: SEO, paid ads, email funnels, analytics Salary: ₹3–10 LPA Bonus: Freelancers who know what they’re doing can scale up even faster than full-timers.
4. Tech Support Executive
If you've ever been the go-to “tech person” in your friend circle, this might be your entry point. It’s the frontline of IT.
Skills: OS basics, troubleshooting, soft skills Salary: ₹3–7 LPA Growth path: System admin → Cloud support → DevOps. It happens more often than you’d think.
5. Data Analyst
Think Excel meets storytelling. You’re not just reading spreadsheets; you’re explaining what they mean in plain English.
Skills: Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python (basic) Salary: ₹5–14 LPA Reality: You don’t need to be a math wizard, just data curious and consistent.
Tumblr media
6. Cybersecurity Analyst
While companies go digital, someone needs to protect their digital doors. That’s  where you come in.
Skills: Network security, threat detection, firewalls Salary: ₹6–20 LPA Tip: Certifications matter here, but hands-on labs and projects carry weight too.
7. Cloud Support Engineer
The cloud isn’t just someone else’s computer; it’s a massive job market. You help keep those services alive and efficient.
Skills: AWS or Azure basics, Linux, networking Salary: ₹6–15 LPA Heads-up: Cloud certifications like AWS CCP are way cheaper than a college degree and more useful.
8. Graphic Designer/Motion Designer
Brands need to look good, and you make that happen. From logos to explainer videos, visual creatives are in constant demand.
Skills: Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects Salary: ₹3–10 LPA Real talk: Your work should speak louder than your resume.
9. QA Tester / Automation Tester
Before an app or website goes live, someone needs to make sure it doesn’t crash and burn. That’s your job.
Skills: Manual testing, Selenium, test cases Salary: ₹4–12 LPA Note: Many QA testers get promoted into product, dev, or DevOps roles later.
Tumblr media
10. Product Support/Customer Success
Not everyone in tech has to code. If you’re good with people and understand how software works, you can bridge the gap between users and devs.
Skills: Communication, product knowledge, CRM tools Salary: ₹3–9 LPA You’re perfect for this if you love helping people and you hate bad user experiences.
What’s the catch?
There isn’t one. But here's what does matter:
Your willingness to learn (and unlearn)
Real projects, even small ones
A portfolio, GitHub, or something that shows proof of work
The ability to talk about what you’ve done without sounding like ChatGPT
At Prism HRC, we’ve seen non-degree candidates land jobs at great companies simply because they knew their stuff. You don’t need a paper to prove you belong in tech. You just need skills, proof, and a bit of boldness.

The Evolution of the Full Stack Web Developer: Then vs. Now
Technology is moving at lightning speed, and so are the people who build it. One such pivotal role in the digital space is that of the full stack developer—a professional who juggles both the front-end and back-end of web applications. But like all things in tech, the role of the full stack developer has undergone massive transformation over the past two decades.
So, how did we get from the simple websites of the early 2000s to today’s complex, cloud-integrated, API-driven web apps? Let’s walk through the evolution of the full stack web developer: then vs. now.
Back Then: Simpler Times, Simpler Stacks
In the early days of the internet, being a full stack developer meant you were a jack-of-all-trades—but the stack was far less complicated. Websites were relatively static, and the tools were limited but manageable.
What defined a full stack developer then?
HTML, CSS, and a bit of JavaScript: These were the core technologies for building any web interface.
Backend scripting with PHP or ASP.NET: Most developers used server-side languages like PHP for form processing and basic database interactions.
Databases like MySQL: Relational databases were the go-to for storing content.
Little to no version control: Most code was shared via ZIP files or FTP uploads.
Solo development: Often, a single developer managed the entire website—from writing HTML to setting up servers.
This era was defined by simplicity, but also by limitations. Sites were slower, less interactive, and rarely mobile-friendly. Yet, in those early days, one developer could manage it all.
Now: Complexity, Collaboration, and Constant Learning
Fast forward to today, and the web is a different beast. Users expect speed, responsiveness, personalized experiences, and seamless integration with other apps. To meet these expectations, the full stack developer has had to evolve dramatically.
What does a full stack developer look like now?
Front-End Frameworks: React, Angular, or Vue are commonly used for building dynamic user interfaces.
Back-End Powerhouses: Node.js, Django, Ruby on Rails, or even serverless functions on AWS or Azure.
Cloud & DevOps: Modern full stack developers often deploy on cloud platforms and manage CI/CD pipelines.
APIs and Microservices: Today’s applications are modular, and developers must work with RESTful APIs and sometimes GraphQL.
Database Variety: From SQL to NoSQL (MongoDB, Firebase), data storage is more versatile.
Version Control and Collaboration Tools: Git, GitHub, GitLab, and platforms like Jira and Slack are essential.
Security & Performance: Awareness of cross-site scripting, data encryption, and performance optimization is critical.
Modern full stack developers don’t just write code—they’re architects, problem-solvers, and collaborators.
The Human Side of the Evolution
Let’s not forget the human element. Twenty years ago, being a full stack developer often meant learning by doing. There were fewer formal resources, and “Googling it” wasn’t even a thing. Now, developers have access to endless online courses, forums, and bootcamps—but they also face constant pressure to keep up.
Challenges modern full stack developers face:
Burnout from constant learning
Juggling too many technologies
Unclear job definitions in some companies
Need to balance depth vs. breadth of skills
However, despite the complexity, today’s developers are part of a global community. They share code, contribute to open source, and support one another. That’s something that has only grown stronger over time.
The Stack Is Evolving—And So Is the Developer
The definition of a full stack developer continues to shift. Some developers specialize more in either front-end or back-end, while still understanding both. Others become tech leads, DevOps engineers, or product-focused developers. But at its core, the role is about versatility and adaptability.
Key skills of a modern full stack developer:
Proficiency in multiple languages and frameworks
Problem-solving mindset
Understanding of UI/UX principles
Ability to work with databases, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Conclusion: From Hackers to Architects
The journey from the humble beginnings of web development to today’s sophisticated tech stacks is a fascinating one. The full stack developer of the past may have worked alone, but the modern developer thrives in collaboration, supported by tools, teams, and an ever-growing tech ecosystem.
The evolution of the full stack web developer: then vs. now reminds us that while tools and technologies will continue to change, the heart of development—curiosity, creativity, and code—remains the same.

Whether you want to pursue this career in data, this is a guide for you to the necessary skills, significant tools, and the best coursesthat can help you become a successful Data Analyst.
Key Skills Required to Become a Data Analyst
The first step requires building a strong foundation in the following skills:
Statistical Analysis: Have an understanding of different data patterns, trends, and relationships.
SQL (Structured Query Language): It is essential for extracting and manipulating data from databases.
Data Visualization: refers to the ability to learn how to visualize data in a manner that makes it easier to interpret by means of charts, graphs, and dashboards.
