Almaz: It’s a picture of you and Mao, Miss Beryl! You two look nice next to each other. That’s childhood friends for you, I guess. Have you two always gotten along well?

Raspberyl: Nah. We fought every day as rivals. I’d even barge into his castle every morning to wake him up so he can’t be late!

Sapphire: We consider people like those good friends in the Human World. I don’t have a childhood friend myself, so I’m rather jealous of how fun that sounds.

Raspberyl: Heh. I’m not talking about a fun little memory here, you know. I was practically risking my life whenever I tried to wake him up and get him to go to school with me.

Almaz: Huh? How come? You were just going to wake him up, right?

Raspberyl: ‘Cause he’d set up traps inside the castle and prevent me from getting to him. And I didn’t want to lose, so I’d break through his traps head-on.

Almaz: What?! I’ve never heard of childhood friends who did stuff like that!! That sounds so dangerous!

Raspberyl: It’s pretty normal in the Netherworld. Anyway, since he set up way too many traps, Mao couldn’t even get out of the castle in the end. So much for that, huh?

Sapphire: Being childhood friends sounds fun! Let’s try it out too, Almaz! I’ll set up the traps in the castle, and you can try to wake me up!

Almaz: Please wait, Princess! This isn’t what being childhood friends is all about! Please don’t just cheerfully start setting up traps!!

Almaz: By the way, what were you and Miss Beryl like when you were younger, Mao?

Mao: We weren’t any different from how we are now. She’s the childhood friend I got stuck with and she’s also my eternal rival.

Sapphire: I like how you acknowledge each other as rivals, but I’d love to hear about a nice moment between you two as childhood friends too!

Almaz: I think asking him that would be a bad idea…. How about this though? Does Miss Beryl have any secrets that only you know about?

Mao: …You could say that. That alarm clock she always has with her? I made it. It releases an explosive sound once the set time comes!

Sapphire: Alarm clock? Do you mean the skull that she’s always wearing? I had no idea you made it!

Mao: Hmph. She kept begging me for it, so I made it for her in exchange for some hero merch she had.

Almaz: …But if you made it, there’s no way it’s just a normal alarm. Would it just suddenly explode at some point or–

Mao: Not bad, Almaz! Yes, if that alarm isn’t turned off in time, the noise will become loud enough to destroy the world as we know it!

Almaz: So it’ll be all over if she ever forgot to turn it off?! Thank you for always being on time, Miss Beryl!
