sometimes i feel like the way i write him people who know nothing about the series would be surprised to find out that dark or daisuke is the protagonist and not like, the overall series antag, but it's just a matter of the fact that everything in the series happens to revolve around daisuke despite the way that within the greater narrative he's an antag to the law as a criminal and the hikari by uh, long-standing family feud stuff. what i'm saying is to certain groups he absolutely, definitely can serve as a 'villain' which is why i don't necessarily shy away from anything related to the fact.

Hikaru Utada for her debut album First Love released in 10th March of 1999. Despite being her debut album the singles from this album "Automatic" and "First Love" were revolutionary and sold more than 10 million copies since it's release all over the world.

First love also inspired a Netflix series of the same name released in 2022 starring talented Hikari Mitsushima and Takeru Satoh which was equally successful and reminded many x gen and millennials about the nostalgia revolving around that iconic song.

Hikaru has also been very open towards same sex marriages and came out as non binary and uses she/her and they/them pronouns. In one of the interview she stated "It makes me uncomfortable to be identified so markedly by my marital status or sex, and I don't relate to any of those prefixes. Every time, I feel like I'm forced to misrepresent myself."

First Love: Hatsukoi is a Netflix Original story inspired by the songs "First Love" and "Hatsukoi" by Utada Hikaru. Both "First Love" and "Hatsukoi" are featured throughout the series a few times so even if they're not really familiar to you, you will be able to listen to the songs and enjoy the ambience during your viewing.

This series tells a story of high school sweethearts reuniting after 20 years apart. Noguchi Yae and Namiki Harumichi changed and moved on from their first love. Now, Yae works as a taxi driver and tries her best to bond with her teenage son, meanwhile Harumichi enjoys his quiet days at a security company and prepares for his upcoming wedding. Fate brings them together once more two decades after their parting to give them a chance to rekindle their romance.

From the bottom of my heart, I hugely respect actors behind the roles of Noguchi Yae and Namiki Harumichi. Both Mitsushima Hikari and Sato Takeru consistently deliver the best performance. I truly think that they outdo themselves with each project they participate in. Actors who portrayed younger versions of the main characters, as well as actors of the background characters did amazing job to bring this story to us as well.

The premise of First Love: Hatsukoi made me feel very emotional. I watched all 9 episodes in one sitting, waiting for the conclusion with bated breath, tears in my eyes and my heart on full display. Yae and Harumichi's journey accompanied by Utada Hikaru's powerful vocals was one of the best things I've seen this year. I'm sure this drama will be well-suited for a romance-hungry soul in need of a good cry.

Prisoner 012 Shi Rose

Your judgment was “innocent”, and as such her ideals were affirmed. With this “innocent” verdict, Shi is now treated as a warden ! If my hands weren’t fluffy I would’ve applauded you ! Thanks to you, she has quite the responsibility and as such has some power in the prison that’s why the prison got some « change ». She was also called but told me she didn’t sleep as long as you and already noticed the change in the prison. How pretentious of her. For your information, her trial is now postponed before the end of the trial. After all, you need to judge her as a prisoner and warden. Oh and she seems hostile against Caramel, I think something happened between her and Caramel, you already get why, right ?

Your judgment was “Conflicted”, and as such, she makes a choice.

With this choice, Kyoki has been quite different lately.. He was quite silent… and because of it, Prisoner 014 Hera Ai has been taking care of him to his heart content.

Well, thanks to Hera’s care, he seems to be fine and even talks again. He seems to depend on her for everything, wanting her attention every time. Well, a kid is a kid.

Because she was found “innocent”, Hera has been able to rest a lot !

Seeing Kyoki’s state, Hera have been taking care of him. And because you didn’t annoy her and respect your part of the contract with her, she seems ready to talk to you. But, the new situation of the prison quite angered her.

Prisoner 015, Shun Hikari

Your judgment was “guilty”, and as such, his ideas were rejected.

With a “guilty” verdict, I can’t tell if that is because of the guilty verdict but he’s pretty broken right now…

Well, a lot happens between Shun and Shi.

As a new warden, Shi had to learn about the murder/story of each prisoner. Some prisoners didn’t answer like Caramel and Hera but Shi always found a way to get to get them to answers. In the case of Shun, being guilty restrain his freedom leaving him to his own… So with the help of Rin, both of them made him live a nightmare until he answers. Poor him… but seems like they didn’t get the answer they wished to hear.

Prisoner 016, Satoko Dokousousei

Your judgment was “guilty”, and as such, her ideals were rejected. With the “guilty”, Satoko seems to be quite the miserable person. Being rejected was what she wanted, but because of it, she feels quite bored…

Prisoner 017, Akito Usotsuki

Your judgment was “guilty”, and as such, his ideals were rejected. With the “guilty” verdict, Akito has started to feel a bit paranoid. This verdict and isolation reopened his old wounds making him despite everything if he could run away he would. Well, to be honest you were a bit of a meany with him. Was it that cool to surge your anger to him who actually just followed your rule?

Well,he also got tortured by Shi and Rin.

Prisoner 018, Caramel Sato

Your judgment was “innocent”, and as such, her ideals were already affirmed.

Caramel Sato is a prisoner having already received some changes because of Milgram. Your verdict could affect her but in that case it didn't. It seems both Shi and Muse have something against her. I tried to find the most suspicious behavior but she didn’t actually do much. Isn’t suspicious?

Prisoner 019, Muse Nakamura

Your judgment was “guilty”, and as such, his ideals were rejected. Ouch ! Muse really doesn't live the verdict well. He can’t even control himself anymore. A wreck full of emotion unknown of when or why he will blow up. Also learning that Caramel is the reason why he ended up like this made him cry for revenge but seeing that only HIM got punished has hurt his pride, creating a feeling of inferiority against the innocent prisoners.

Prisoner 20, Rin Fujiwara

Your judgment was “innocent”, and as such her ideals were affirmed.

With an « innocent » verdict, Rin seems to be quite happy to know you agree with her. Seeing that you didn’t forgive any male prisoners made her more comfortable in Milgram. Since you didn’t ask for anything Rin didn’t do much except apply to whatever Shi said. Why ? Maybe because she thinks both of you are the warden ? Or she just wanted to have fun ?

i love hiwatari n the hikari sm my ass struggles so hard to hate them which is fine for daisuke but bad for dark bc dark in the beginning absolutely did hate them. has hated them. it's only daisuke who flips the entire family dynamic, who meets satoshi as much as satoshi is willing to meet daisuke and cure their family curses together, but as far as dark was ever concerned, 'satoshi' was (initially) the same as krad: someone obsessive, possessive, someone out to solely capture and potentially destroy him first, who had nothing else in their life despite lineage and plausible skill as an artist, someone who 'valued' but did not once ever actually love the things that dark stole. fr if it had been dark alone against krad and satoshi['s body,] satoshi would've been straight up Dead by now, because dark's is 2000 yrs of subdued misanthropy for the hikari and humans alike, and ofc throw in his own confusion over his birth and his decisive betrayal following his capture, release, and manisumea's destruction. its the paradise lost 'heaven is empty and kept only by a heartless tyrant' bit that daisuke dissolves and reaches out across by his compassion, aka what dark could Never.
