Murderbot meets ART (who knew transports could be smart enough to be MEAN)

my one true fear for the Murderbot TV show after remembering who they cast to play Murderbot itself is that they make ART into 'sexy female spaceship' voiced by like Scarlett Johanson with some sort of ultra femme holograph cortana-like avatar who seduces Murderbot, instead of keeping them as the genderless possessive grouch they are

or god worse, they make a 'female' SecUnit or a female human fall in love with a Murderbot that uses male pronouns in some sort of starcrossed heteroromance nonsense

Obsessed with the idea that SecUnits are made of cloned material. Cloned from who? Were there volunteers hundreds of years ago who donated their dna? Do they clone it from bodies donated for science? Does GreyCris have a past history of graverobbing, like the medical schools of the Victorian age?

What do they do when they have to gather fresh samples? Genetic material degrades over time. Do they take new volunteers? Or is it a part of an indentured person's contract that GreyCris owns the rights to their body and can "take and use any genetic material to enhance the safety and security of the Corporation Rim."

Then at the end of the third cycle, when most of the humans were sleeping, I noticed it was following me around. I figured that was a sign it wanted to talk. I stopped in an empty corridor, faced the wall, and said, "What?" It stood there for .6 of a second with the standard neutral-blank expression. I started wondering about what a ComfortUnit's "uniform" would look like, if they had one at all. I feel like if they weren't rented out to clients individually, the companies that supply them en masse would at least give them all the same clothes to wear. For instance, at an operation or outpost that has many humans working there.

I think that, like secunits, they would still have to obscure their faces with visors or masks. However, they would have different hairstyles and wear makeup. Their attire would probably have to toe the line between alluring and utilitarian- skin tight with no pockets, something that’s looked at rather than worn for comfort or self-expression. Whereas a secunit’s armor obscures, a comfortunit’s uniform reveals.
