Heya guys! I’m back with another post! But this one is about Fez Perry! If you guys wanna ask Perry and his siblings questions, I’m deciding to make posts about Perry and Sibs so you could get to know them before asking them questions! Finally we have the semi aquatic egg laying mammal of action in fez, the Fez Boi himself, Fez Perry the Fez Platypus aka Agent FezP!

Name: Fez Perry

Gender: Male He/him/his

Age: 12(currently in 2023)

Physical Appearance: Fez Perry is a greenish teal male platypus with yellow tinged tangerine webbing only on his back feet(odd traits that platypuses outside of Danville don’t have) He also has three black hairs on his head, a low long salmon orange beaver tail, deep dark brown eyes in an unnatural walleyed position making him look mindlessly stupid and derpy as a pet, and a duck bill that matches his webbing color. Under his fur, he wears the amulet of Juatchadoon, a siren pendant, and he mainly wears a fez on his head as Agent FezP. FezP also wears a fedora on his head but he wears it on underneath of his fez. Around his arm, he wears a light teal turtle bracelet which is his miraculous in camouflage mode.

Personality: He can be best defined as “The Sassy Bossy Flirty Dramatic Entertainment" younger brother to Perry. He kinda has same aspects as Perry, but the difference is that he is mostly sassy, bossy, dramatic, and entertainment. This is seen from the fact that he brought backup dancers to a long-lost temple and when he was dancing. He also seems loyal enough to wear a fez even though he wasn't in Egypt. He does have a difficult relationship with Perry but sometimes they get along with the rest of his brothers and sisters. As Agent FezP, he is proud of his abilities as a fez platypus and wants to prove himself to Perry that he can be a good secret agent for the O.W.C.A. As a dream demon, he can be manipulative and he is always sassy in order to get what he wants. When he’s making a deal with someone, his greenish teal hand starts burning with light teal flames. As a siren, he plays with someone’s emotions and he’s ready to show off his singing voice and feeds on the positivity around him.

You have absolutely no idea how fucking long I spent making this video fhdsjahkjaf I’m gonna gush under the cut about why I liked each one so y’all don’t have to deal with me if you don’t want to lol

These are in no particular order. They’re just numbered to line up with the reasoning. I added lil descriptions to each of them but you’ll probably have to either watch the video first or have a pretty good memory of the show to understand them lol

1. “Dr. Wexler, you’re a platypus?” (A Hard Day’s Knight)

Literally just the way he says, “Dr. Wexler, you’re a platypus?”

2. “Is every platypus named Perry?” and then Perry bites him (AT2D)

M O N C H (also Heinz calls him cute) (also also “We do not bite the elderly!”)

3. Perry tries to fly him and Heinz home from the desert but Heinz flips the turbo switch and they lose the jetpack (Road to Danville)

“Like you didn’t know about my switch-flipping compulsion!” They’re literally an old married couple omfg I can’t even (also moment of appreciation for the fact that they’re close enough that Heinz just assumes Perry knows about his switch-flipping compulsion) (another moment of appreciation because Perry probably does)

4. The end of the Perry/Doof subplot of Terrifying Tri-State Trilogy of Terror

First of all, the way Perry decides to run under his giant floating head when going around would take two extra seconds? Beautiful. And, of course, Perry’s fucking smirk because that’s just not his problem lmaooo

5. The pause in the FIGHT FIGHT IT’S A PLATYPUS FIGHT (Doofapus)

I love that they literally just stop mid-fight to have tea. I firmly believe there is no other pair of nemeses that would do that and this is just how Heinz and Perry work. Also, Perry’s smile? He feels so understood? It’s so pure?

6. Vanessa lets Perry in before he can break down the door with his rocket launcher and then Perry accidentally shoots it through the wall (My Sweet Ride)

7. Heinz doesn’t trap Perry (Road to Danville)

He’s so confused fjdahfksdhfak he literally goes out of his way to get trapped at that point (even if he pretends he doesn’t) and Heinz flipped the script on him without telling him and his lil shrug is so cute and I just jsfhkjadhsk

8. There’s a Platypus Controlling Me (Brain Drain)

You had to know this one was gonna be there

9. “In your letters, you said your nemesis was a suave, semi-aquatic personification of unstoppable dynamic fury” (Oil on Candace)

The fact that Heinz sent his ex-professor a letter gushing about his nemesis is just *chef’s kiss*

10. Perry and Dennis are fighting in giant puppets in the street and Heinz recognizes Perry piloting the puppet because of his fighting style (The Return of the Rogue Rabbit)

I’m pretty sure this is the only time Heinz ever recognizes Perry without his hat on (correct me if I’m wrong tho) and the fact that it’s literally just because Perry punched the fuckin camera kills me every time

11. Heinz is worried they won’t make his play in time so Perry tells him to flip the turbo switch (Road to Danville)

Perry just trusts him so much??? Flipping the switch was what got them into that mess in the first place??? But Perry cares so much about Heinz making his LOVEMUFFIN play that he’s willing to give it another go??? I love it???

12. DANCE BABY DANCE BABY HANDS IN THE AIR (Candace Disconnected)

I feel like we don’t get to see Perry just kinda hanging out like that a lot. He’s always doing that steely glare, even when they’re having fun. I don’t think Perry really realizes how emotionless he can look sometimes (the beginning and end of Sidetracked are from Perry’s POV especially at the end, the way he acts with the boys shows too much character for a secret agent, so even though he seems to think it’s obvious that he’s all lovey dovey with them, he does much too good a job at hiding his emotions) but it’s nice to see him drop the facade every now and then

13. Heinz calls Monogram because Perry hasn’t shown up (Perry the Actorpus)

I know Perry’s not technically in this one but I love that Heinz a) calls OWCA when Perry doesn’t show up and b) looks so nervous as he calls OWCA because Perry hasn’t shown up

14. Perry brings Heinz a glass of water (Road to Danville)

Half this episode is just them being mad at each other because they blame the other one for sticking them in the desert with way home, and I love that even though Perry’s been fuming pretty much the entire time, the second Heinz actually starts yelling at him, he’s immediately hit with a wave of guilt (also I love that he somehow found a glass of water in the middle of the desert?)

15. “YOU PEED ON MY COUCH!” (AT2D)

Not gonna lie, I mostly picked this one for shits and giggles BUT that doesn’t mean I can’t overanalyze it because that’s what I do best. Perry’s whole role in the show is to tie together the two completely unrelated plots, and that’s only so entertaining because not only does neither side know the other, but neither side knows what version of Perry the other side knows. This is the first time Heinz has really connected mindless pet Perry with Agent P Perry, and I feel like that was the most interesting part of the movie was that Phineas, Ferb, Candace, and Heinz all saw a side of Perry they didn’t know. 

16. Heinz invites Perry out for lunch (The Quietest Day Ever)

Heinz doesn’t even know he got hit with the de-handsome-inator. He literally just thinks he lost, and his immediate reaction is to ask if Perry wants to hang out. I just love those lil insights into their relationship when they’re not fighting. Also, perry.exe has stopped working.

17. Honestly just all of Father’s Day

I hate knowing that chronologically, Father’s Day had to happen probably less than halfway through the summer and not towards the end like it does in the episode order. It’s such a sweet turning point in their relationship. Perry’s head all these horrible backstories about Mr. Doofenshmirtz and I can only assume he hates the guy, but he’s still so supportive of Heinz trying to win his approval -- and he’s supportive when that fails and Heinz needs someone to lean on.

Perry’s literally about to fight a bitch and I can’t blame him. I also like the lil look into Heinz’s thoughts with the “it’s not like I have to fill the space” line because it really explains a lot about him.

20. Perry waiting for the New Year’s ball to drop and for Heinz to finish his scheme (Happy New Year!)

Once again, a beautiful look at how their entire relationship is based on their routine and knowing what to expect. It wouldn’t be Heinz and Perry if there was not punching and kicking involved. (Also, Perry’s smug face while he waits) (Also also, Perry’s lil shrug)

21. Heinz invites Perry to hang out in his house in the suburbs (Put That Putter Away)

GIVE PERRY A DAY OFF (but for real I love that Heinz literally just asked if he wanted to hang out, AND that he assured Perry that he’d make sure he didn’t get in trouble with Monogram for it)

26. Perry accidentally became famous for advertising tools and then shows up at DEI (Perry the Actorpus)

He’s so happy to see his nemesis again :,)

Perry is at least partially responsible for how horribly that day went, but that’s his job is to make sure evil scientists don’t impress other evil scientists. You don’t want, like, an evil scientist team up or whatever. But I’m decently sure there’s nothing in the job description that says Perry has to stick around and assure his nemesis that he’s good at being evil, so that’s all Perry’s doing.

28. Perry pulled an all nighter and shows up at DEI asleep and Heinz has to try not to wake him up (Just Our Luck)

The amount of respect it takes for Heinz to see his nemesis sleeping on the job and go out of his way not to wake him up (but to make sure he’s still included, of course; he’s not a disrespectful guy, even if he is evil) warms my heart

29. Perry shows Heinz a bunch of their pictures together (This Is Your Backstory)

b) I love that those pictures exist at all

Why: In his theme song, referred to as a “semi-aquatic egg-laying mammal of action” despite the show making it clear Perry is male. There was a whole episode where his owners thought he laid an egg and never questioned it (they also comment that he’s an egg-laying mammal as well). On one occasion, sweated milk (a trait that only occurs with female platypuses, though this occurred after switching bodies with Candace). His arch-nemesis was surprised to learn about venomous ankle spurs after many, many fights with Perry, meaning it’s possible Perry doesn’t have venomous ones (male and female platypuses have ankle spurs, but only males have venomous ones). Co-creator Jeff “Swampy” Marsh, when asked if Perry is a male or female platypus, simply said “yes”.

Thought it'd be fun to make a few ideas if we make a Splatoon AU out of the Dwampyverse.

Phineas and Ferb

Are Octoling stepsiblings

Similarly to Marina, these two were enrolled in a training program to become combat engineers. While not as technologically skillful as Marina, Phineas and Ferb were regarded as prodigies as well, and were aiming to graduate at age 10. This was before the events of Splatoon 1.

As such, the two looked up to Marina

After hearing the Calamari Inkantation, the two realized they would rather build things for fun, instead for combat, and left Octo Valley alongside their sister Candace.

Even after the Inkantation freed them from DJ Octavio's suppression, phineas and Ferb still look up to Marina, but didn't learn of her new career with Pearl until they released their first single.

Candace

Phineas's biological Octoling sister

Was enrolled in a training program to become an elite soldier

Dearly desired to become the ultimate Octoling Amazon, but was never taken seriously by her peers.

Had an extreme prejudice against the Inklings

Extremely envious to Gladys from accounting who got graduated much earlier than she did, despite Gladys always holing her Octoshot backwards and upside down. DJ Octavio saw potential in Gladys purely because she was the cousin of a mid-level Octoweapon engineer.

After hearing the Inkantation, Candace realized that Octavio's troops are honestly not much better than the Inklings, so she left Octo Valley along with Phineas and Ferb.

Still extremely protective to Phineas and Ferb.

Milo

A young Inkling boy (that still has Murphy's Law, even though his last name is Murphin).

Has formed a squad with Melissa and Zack. They don't have a fixed fourth member: it often rotates between Mort, Amanda, and Milo's sister Sara.

Has a small crush on Amanda: her Turf War strategizing and knowledge on Weapons and Gear fascinates him.

Is one of the very few people that's actually interested in Sheldon's rambling about Weapons.

When many Inklings noticed a giant statue of a human rising above the sea, with a giant, blender-made turret emerging from its mouth, Milo blamed this on himself as Murphy's Law.

Zack

Despite being an Inkling, he was the lead singer of a young amberjack-based boyband known as the Amberzacks.

He, Milo and Melissa try to form a band of their own, Just Getting Splatted.

Deathly afraid of Salmonids, especially the tiny ones.

Perry

Is still a platypus. They're semi-aquatic, after all.

Platypuses are endangered species, to the point that Perry's constantly mistaken for a non-mammal

Is actually part of the SWCA, the Splatoon Without a Cool Acronym, an organization based on the original Squidbeak Splatoon with animal agents, led by Francis Monogentus

Monogentus is not aware of the New Squidbeak Splatoon and has assumed that Cap'n Cuttlefish is dead.

Perry, however, IS aware that Cap'n Cuttlefish is still alive, purely because he overheard Callie and Marie talking about him. He has no idea what Cuttlefish is up to these days (aside from rapping), but at the same time, he wonders how Monogentus isn't aware of this.

Perry's nemesis is an Octarian named Heinz Joubinshmirtz

Perry was introduced to Phineas and Ferb later, roughly a few days after the stepbrothers and Candace settled in Inkopolis. The trio is unaware of his secret agent life.

Joubinshmirtz (Doofenshmirtz)

Used to be a general of the Octarian forces, but got fired and ridiculed by his peers

Just like our Doof, Joubinshmirtz has a plethora of tragic backstories, which he uses as motivation for a variety of "evil stuff"

He wanted to steal the Great Zapfish because the power of his TV went out. DJ Octavio beat him to it for his own nefarious plans.

Completely missed the Squid Sisters "concert" two years prior, and thus still hasn't heard the Inkantation. Since said "concert" however, his daughter Vanessa went missing.

Diogee

Is a dogfish (haha get it)

His full name is Diogee Efaies Eitch Murphin. His middle names are phonetic pronunciations of F-I-S-H.

Knows about the SWCA. Doesn't desire to be a part of it, though.

Doesn't trust Judd or Li'l Judd.

Occasionally shows up in Turf Wars to aid Milo's squad. Milo promptly tells him to go home.

Personality: While undercover as a pet platypus, Perry can be normally be found with his owners, Phineas and Ferb. As a pet platypus, he lives up to the expectations for a platypus and “doesn’t do much”. Even though Candace would normally describe him as just a mindless smelly animal, Perry still shows signs of intelligence when he’s pretending to be a normal pet, so she may mean insane rather than dumb. He is mostly serious while on duty as a secret agent, even in front of Major Monogram when he’s doing anything silly. Perry appears to be selfless and devoid of vanity. In the episode, The Best Lazy Day Ever, it is only after he turns everything else affected by the Ugly-inator back to normal and he turns himself back to his normal state. He deeply cares about the Flynn-Fletcher Family and is scared to lose them. He will take immediate action whenever they are threatened. He is nice to not only his allies, friends, and his family, but to his nemesis Dr. Doofenshimirtz as well, thought only on some occasions. He gets along with his siblings extremely well and he always brings them on missions right by his side to fight evil. He can get a little bit irritated by his brothers, Groucho Perry and Fez Perry, are both being themselves but he gets along with them well. As a dream demon, he is always serious and ready to make his move. Whenever he’s making a deal with someone, his greenish teal hand starts burning periwinkle flames. As a siren, he’s ready to show off his singing voice and feeds on the positivity around him.

Personality: Female Perry is best described as “The Girly” younger sister of Perry. She loves spending time with her siblings and she doesn’t like when her ballgown gets dirty. She has the same aspects of Perry but most of the time, she is a bossy, arrogant, and superficial female platypus who does everything in her power to crush and humiliate the other O.W.C.A. agents. She only thinks highly of herself and lowly of others as she believes that she deserves everything and takes pride in her secret agent lifestyle. While being callous and careless to anyone but herself, she could be cowardly and easily scared of danger often caused by Dr. Doofenshmirtz's inators used to take over TSA. Despite all of these traits, Female Perry can be courageous as she is willingly helpful when asked by those she is close to or admires, such as helping Perry and the rest of her siblings to defeat Doof. As Agent FemP, she is proud of her abilities and wants to prove herself to Perry that she can be a good secret agent for the O.W.C.A. As a dream demon, she does everything in her power to crush and make deals with the other agents.
