i’ve been wondering for the longest time

if food had sentience, would they want to be eaten?

if you were food, and you were alive, would you want to be eaten?

if you think about it, at first you would say no, but then you would just be thrown away and left to rot in a barren wasteland, watching the world progress before your eyes as you slowly decay and disappear, meaningless, serving no purpose to the world
