I think that he is a really creative guy, and on his lyrics you can really feel what he wants to say, how he feels etc.
His voice is beutiful , "Valentina" reminds me of Kali Uchis and Jenevieve

Luna Li Taps Serena Isioma For the Ethereal “Flower (In Full Bloom)”
Tumblr media
Luna Li’s music is akin to a dream. The Toronto multi-instrumentalist’s gift lies in her ability to create a palpable atmosphere that falls somewhere between waking daydream and insatiable, idyllic groove. It’s a testament to her classical training and genre-bending appeal, drawing on each to create songs whose inherent musicality is undeniable but free of the confines of genre norms or conventions. All this and more come to life in her latest single, “Flower (In Full Bloom).”
Against an array of otherworldly strings and ethereal coos, Li tells a bittersweet tale of toxic relationship dynamics and finding the strength to move on. “It’s about a relationship where the other person is there for the wrong reasons, to gain power and to use you to their advantage, rather than for love or caring. Serena (whose viral hit song Sensitive is now sitting on a whopping 54 million streams) came in and brought the song to a whole new level with their incredible verse and I feel so lucky to have had them sing on it!,” shares Li.
“Flower (In Full Bloom)” is an extension of Li’s previously-released single “Flower,” a heavenly forty-eight-second instrumental that appeared on her aptly-titled jams EP earlier this year. The succinct jam session comes to life in the Serena Isioma-assisted single, providing a unique glimpse into the fruition of one idea into the next. From a surreal soundscape that draws on the roots of bedroom R&B to the ensuing fuzz of indie psychedelic rock that peppers the conclusion of the track, Li’s latest feels like gently floating deeper and deeper down the rabbit hole.
“Flower (In Full Bloom)” is a small dose of sonic sunshine. From instrumental to fully-realized idea, Li’s latest creation starkly contrasts its subject matter, showing us first-hand the beauty that comes from nourishing what we love until it inevitably blossoms.

June Song 16: "Huh?" by Serena Isioma
June 2021 | Song #16
Artist: Serena Isioma
Song: “Huh?”
“Huh?” brings to mind adjectives that start with V. Vivacious, vibrant and vivid. The Chicago artists continues to impress and evolve with this new disco-hyper-funk-psych infused single. It’s engaging and thoughtful and fun and unexpected, infusing a splash of the unpredictable in modern hip-hop. It makes us look all the more forward to their first full-length album due out later this year.

Serena Isioma’s “HUH?” Is an Unapologetic Celebration of Identity
Tumblr media
Photo: Daniel Delgato
It’s been a while since we’ve last heard from Serena Isioma, but to say that fans have been starving would be a severe understatement. Last year the young Chicago artist released two critically acclaimed EPs, Sensitive and The Leo Sun Sets, but since then it’s been mostly radio silence. Luckily for their ravenous fans, the wait seems to be over as Isioma returns with the funky and vintage-flavored “HUH?,” the first (of hopefully many) releases this year. With a genre-pushing sound and an attitude that sits somewhere between ubothered and unapologetic, Isioma makes a triumphant return.
If Isioma hasn’t crossed your radar yet, consider “HUH?” the perfect introduction (or re-introduction for us diehard stans). Though the last six months have been a tough wait, Isioma’s newest release sounds like they never left in the first place, delivering fans another genreless curveball.
The track sounds like Grandmaster Flash and James Brown were both reborn into Isioma’s eclectic performance, which somehow balances an old-soul wisdom with their progressive and careless demeanor. Their writing reflects this attitude too, with lyrics like, “And I will not stop with this gay shit! (nah) / Haters mad cause I’m young, black, and famous!” “HUH?” is a perfectly-timed celebration of identity and spirit from an artist who is never afraid to reinvent themselves.
Synthesizing elements of hip-hop, R&B, pop, and classic funk into one package, Isioma provides a new track whose boundaries are just as limitless as their potential. With more music likely on the way, this is definitely an artist to keep an eye on.

God one of my favorite LGBTQ+ music artists is Serena Isioma. They make such fucking banger music I love it. My favorite song of her’s is either Cookout or Hard. I only got into his music recently but it’s honestly great (and they’re also the only non-binary artist that I know of which is sad I wish I knew more non-binary artists)
