I’m making a “Going Down” animatic for 1:24-1:47 (and hopefully the rest of the song too) and I have decided that I have to do something every day, no matter how big or small, it just has to help with the animatic and include drawing, so I’m just gonna repost this with the updates once the day is over lol

Today I have some hurt Carlos from a fic that I started from @paperstorm's Valentine's prompts from last year and I'm really trying to finish it this month🤞

“Okay, I think you’re allergic to bergamot since that was one of the last chocolates you tried. You're going to be okay.” TK repeats trying to reassure him.

Carlos just nods, taking a slightly wheezy breath, and TK wills the paramedics to get there faster. His fingers never leave Carlos’s pulse point on his wrist and he tracks his fiance’s breathing the whole time.

“Paramedics have arrived, sweetheart.” Grace calls over the speaker phone and TK jumps up.

“Thanks, Grace!” he calls then quickly presses his lips to Carlos’s temple with a whisper. “Gotta let them in. Keep breathing, baby.” Then he runs off to press the front door buzzer and slide open their front door, his socks skidding slightly on the concrete floor.

Devlog 2, October 2024

This month has been a little slow, I've been sick a lot (thanks to a weak immune system and a wife who works at a school) and haven't had much energy or brain power. I did release a teaser yesterday (which you can find here, if you haven't seen it yet and want to check it out), so that is something tangible.

As for November, my goal is to have the prologue and chapter one fully written and edited, with a tentative December release for the demo. This time of year tends be a bit iffy for me healthwise, so progress will be a little slow for the next few months.

yes it did take me 3 hours and 5 breaks to write 270 words but! i wrote 270 words and a win is a win

i'm now consistently able to read (for fun) for an hour a day, which sometimes doesn't feel like much as a former inhale-a-book-in-a-single-sitting person but before this year i hadn't been well enough to read anything for like 3+ years and even before that i was struggling with 10-15 mins a day which really isn't long enough to get into a novel. but i've built up over this year to the hour

like, i'm fortunate enough to have always been a fast reader and that hasn't changed so i'm still getting thru the books despite starting studying in september (and that being the same pool of cognitive energy) and it being the first thing i'm not up to on bad/reaction days and i just. i love reading you guys
