I know your probably sick of this but Lord Death you’d definitely be the best girl dad and Miss Meg you’d make a kickass mom
Tumblr media
Girl…dad…? What?
Tumblr media
I would?
Tumblr media
Well it makes sense…I’d have to be to handle the offspring of Death, himself!

Does anyone else find that the more they understand a movie the more they feel like crying on every viewing?
Like I never used to cry at Kung Fu Panda or the first httyd or Megamind but now that I’m older and I fundamentally understand the characters and themes and plot and can appreciate the music, lighting, animation, fight choreography, character nuances and just all that jazz there are certain scenes that’ll make me choke when they don’t even warrant tears.

*Edit for some clarification: the others are gone COMPLETELY. There is absolutely no saving the others. The cultural impact and even the concepts of them are wiped out of existence. There is no potential of getting the others back ever again. Also, I know it says "three" and not "five" this was supposed to be two different polls until I changed them.

Yesterday, everyone was sick and tired of Disney. Releasing a live action Little Mermaid, Lilo and Stitch, and Moana.
Today: I wake up to everyone screaming and celebrating about the new Spider-Verse trailer. People are excited for Shrek 5 and DreamWorks' upcoming sequels. People are still freaking over The Owl House poster. Barbies and Ken's taking over. People are out of control for Mario and Luigi.
Did I miss anything?

curse you hank green for making me think about hybridization with a "donkeys and dragons are the same species in shrek" video while I may or may not be running a fever. my ramble below:
they aren't necessarily the same species, just two species able to hybridize. the offspring appear to be a mix of traits from both parents and there is no confirmation that any of them are able to breed themselves, or if they're sterile hybrids. (though, tbf, that's not all-encompassing either. in a microscopic chance a normally sterile hybrid like a mule has been seen to be fertile. alternatively, wolf-coyote "coywolf" offspring are perfectly fertile as well as hybrids to the point their breeding causes issues in conservation, and the same holds true of "beefalo" - domestic cows and american bison hybrids)
i was going to add that this suggests donkeys are likely descended from a winged ancestor animal like pegasus, otherwise they'd be so far removed from each other on the evolutionary tree at the split of four and six limbed vertebrates. this might suggest donkey is a form of pegasi that have lost their evolutionary need for wings and the trait has become vestigial if not gone almost entirely, much like whales and dolphins wrt what used to be their ancestors' hind limbs.
.....but then i remembered the sturgeon and paddlefish(?) hybrids that are so far removed from each other but somehow developed into an entire hybrid with a 70% rate of survival and throw my hands up with a big I_GUESS.jpg

So I watched Puss in Boots: The Last Wish today, and wow what a BANGER movie! I really recommend it for its Spiderverse reminiscent visuals (while being distinct enough to stand on its own), its good story, and its wonderful action

I really like how both the first PiB movie and now Last Wish emphasize the legendary feats Puss has gone against for so many years even before Shrek 2, especially in Last Wish, and yet he caved in so easily against Shrek who's literally just some guy and couldn't even touch him when they first "fought".

For disclaimer, I don't own Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio, Nimona, Shrek, Puss in Boots and Spider-Verse.

Life and Death, heavy question here, what does it mean to be alive?
Tumblr media
You’re asking the wrong being, niño/niña.
Tumblr media
Simple. You are moving, thinking, and breathing as you should be after I lit your candle. Therefore you are alive.

Spirited away, Shrek, Happy Feet & Spiderverse watching Del Toro’s Pinocchio beat Disney ass:

Hoping for the next year they’ll be another good animation that win over That thief who monopolize almost more than 20 years.

*Redoing this poll because I made typo and want to add some clarification.
Out these five, you can only save one, the others are deleted 100% from existence.
Keep in mind what this question entails. Think about what "100% deleted from existence" means. Every last bit of the others' existence (movies/shows/concepts) has been completely wiped away from human existence forever. Think deeper than "without Shrek, we're just losing 'what are you doing in my swamp' from meme culture."
Shrek was able to stop Disney's monopoly on animated movies. If that never happened, would the Spiderverse movies be made by Disney? If so, then would they be as good as they currently are? Would the Spiderverse movies even be made? By sacrificing Shrek, who knows?
Without the High School Musical movies, does Zach Efron have the same career and if not then what does that look like? If it does change, how does the theater community change?
Kung-Fu Panda was such a success in China that there's now a Kung-Fu Panda theme park in China.
Just think more before you vote. Let your sci-fi fantasy brain have a turn at the wheel.
