The Power of Siddha Mala: Unlocking the Spiritual Journey
Introduction:
The Siddha Mala is a fundamental component of spiritual customs and practises. This holy necklace, also known as a Siddha rosary, has long been venerated as a device for mantra recitation, meditation, and spiritual enlightenment. It captures the core of conventional wisdom and serves as a road map for the challenging quest for self-realization. We will examine the history, importance, and transforming potential of the Siddha Mala in this essay.
Origins and Symbolism: The Siddha Mala derives its history from India's protracted yogic and tantric traditions. As "perfected" or "accomplished" in Sanskrit, the word "Siddha" connotes a level of spiritual realisation and attainment. The 108 beads that make up the mala are typically crafted from rudraksha seeds, priceless diamonds, or a combination of the two. Each bead stands for a mantra, a quality of God, or a particular goal.
Meaning and Function: The Siddha Mala is a potent tool that supports spiritual searchers in their quest for enlightenment and self-discovery. It serves as a focus during meditation, allowing users to focus more intently and advance their practise. The counting of the beads in a repetitive pattern produces a meditative rhythm that unwinds the body and aligns one's energies with the divine. Through the highs and lows of life, the Siddha Mala serves as a spiritual compass, assisting people in staying grounded and committed to their spiritual objectives.
Energy and healing: It is thought that the Siddha Mala beads contain certain energies and vibrations that relate to many facets of the human experience. For instance, rudraksha beads are claimed to have electromagnetic qualities that benefit the body and mind. On the other hand, gemstone beads are selected based on their metaphysical qualities, harmonising with particular chakras or purposes. A Siddha Mala is thought to balance and harmonise one's energy field, aiding in healing and spiritual development.
Selecting and Maintaining a Siddha Mala: Choosing a Siddha Mala is an intuitive and individualised process. Based on their unique requirements and goals, people may be drawn to a certain kind of bead or gemstone. Making sure the materials used are authentic and of high quality is crucial when purchasing a mala. The Siddha Mala needs to be reverently handled and kept clean in order to be cared for. The mala stays alive and tuned to its purpose by being regularly cleansed with incense, sunlight, or moonlight. This helps eliminate any collected negative energy.
As a holy ally on the path of spiritual development, the Siddha Mala serves to remind us of our relationship with God and our own innate divinity. We can explore the depths of our being, awaken our spiritual potential, and undergo profound transformation via meditation, mantra chanting, and the deliberate use of this great tool. By bridging the gap between the material and spiritual worlds and directing us towards a life of meaning, the Siddha Mala captures the wisdom of ancient traditions.

सर्वेषामपि वक्त्रणां धारणे यो समो भवेत् तस्मात्सर्व प्रयत्नेन रुद्राक्ष पुत्र धारय - पद्मपुराणे
"One who wears all mukhi Rudraksha becomes equal to me (Shiva). So dear Son, one should try by all means to wear all mukhi Rudraksha." -Padma Puran
भक्तिश्रद्धायुतश्चैव सर्वकामार्थसिद्धये । रुद्राक्षान्धारयेन्मन्त्रैर्देवनालस्य वर्जितः ॥
As per the Padma Puran, wearing all mukhi Rudraksha beads can make you equal to Lord Shiva himself. Hence, one should try their best to wear all the beads. The Shiv Puran suggests that when all the Rudraksha beads are energized with their seed mantras and chanted with devotion and faith, the wearer is blessed with fulfillment of all wishes, desires, and riches.
The Akshamalkopanishad describes the Siddha Mala as a garland of letters and affirms that all gods and goddesses reside in this mala. This mala is a repository of all mantras and knowledge, and therefore, it is recommended for all to worship this mala.

Pray To The Dakini
Tumblr media
Praise to the Dakini entwined Yidam,
Victorious Ocean,
emanating an ocean of gurus,
of Buddhas, siddhas, and yidams;
of dakas, dakinis, and dharmapalas;
an endless ocean, a Tsunami of bodhi,
a flood of good to overwhelm all else:
Mahadakini Varahi,
in yum and not in flames,
sow’s head content,
bone ornaments glowing,
severed heads pacified,
red lotus in union with gold vajra,
katrika and kapala
entwined around the yab,
and tongue to tongue
through your white cat fangs:
In the thunder
of your silent embrace
you still the endless ocean
into an overwhelming victory,
you answer before the question
can even be asked,
you calm the waters after
the endless Buddhas and Gurus,
Bodhisattvas, and Protectors
have roiled the waves
with Siddhas flying
in an overwhelming storm
drowning the hosts of Mara,
in the pure land of Boundless Light.
See Him there on His island,
red as a ruby glowing in the sun,
calm in certainty
that his vow is accomplished:
his light shining effortlessly
on the billions of red lotuses
now breaking the calm of the sea.
See on his right and standing,
Arya Avalokiteshvara
white and four armed
with crystal and white,
mala and lotus and
blue Wishing Gem.
See standing on his left,
vajra in right hand raised high,
ready to smash to atoms;
ghanta inverted at the left hip
ready to be rung,
the sound entwining
with the ruby light.
Arya Vajrapani, blue and peaceful.
The “oceans” you invoked
hanging in the sky,
wait breathless and expectant
for the red lotus billions to open.
Your palace shines
atop it’s bodhi tree,
roots dug deep into
the rainbow double vajra
on the sand spit below,
within, your retinue of nine,
surrounding your lotus throne.
The lotuses in rolling waves open
blown by the wind of prajna
entwined in the sound
of the now pealing ghanta
In the hand of the
Bodhisattva of Power.
And from them emerge
billions of ordinary people
now transformed into
Realized Bodhisattvas;
some pure monastics,
others Arya, crowned,
and dripping with royal gems.
The soundless sound,
that no one can speak or hear,
that the Zen monks struggle with
as “one hand clapping”
rises in the voices of ALL,
in one endless chorus
of Boundless Light’s Vow
fulfilled in the handful of minutes there
or the two kalpas in our tiny human realm.
Written on the 24th day of the fourth month of the Iron Ox year, 2021 by Karma Zopa Kunkhyab, follower of His Holiness Karmapa, Orgyen Trinley Dorje from a vision in the mind’s eye of his heart. May the merit of it bring all to the Boundless Light realm of Dewachen

*Question: What is the Instruction behind Krsna revealing His 'Virata Murti' to His devotee Arjuna, which was ''one step below his position''??* Prabhupada: Arjuna is an eternal devotee, so on the higher platform the devotee is so intimately related that he forgets Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. But, in the lower stage of devotional service Krsna is looked upon with awe and veneration. When Arjuna saw the virata murti of Krsna, actually he came down one step below his position. Therefore he asked for forgiveness from Krsna. So this is a teaching to the common man that we should not take Krsna immediately as intimately as the gopis, cowherds boys, and other advanced devotees treated Him. In the beginning we must treat the Lord with awe and veneration. Later one when we are perfectly on the spiritual platform, we treat Krsna more intimately, and therefore we forget the exalted position of Krsna. But, we never imitate the Brijbasis from the beginning as do the sahajiyas. In the beginning a devotee must follow strictly vidhi-marga or regulated principles. When one is on the swarupa siddha stage, the devotee can treat Krsna on an equal level or sometimes he becomes even higher than Krsna. Just like Mother Yasoda treated Krsna a being completely dependent upon her. So these stages are appreciated in many advanced stages of devotional life. *Ref. VedaBase => Letter to: Acyutananda : -- New Delhi 1 November, 1973* please Chant: "Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare" 16 mala everyday. Ujjayi Naad and Bhu Mahabhoot
Ujjayi Naad
This can be a manifestation of Rudra and Rudra on the same time, Rudra manifests from it
This face of Para Shiva which is going through southwards known as as Aghora. Aghora implies that which is not horrible or wrathful and thus this denotes the peaceful
face of Sadashiva. This face is of a Neela Varanam or blue colour. Aghora face represents the macro-component of Fire and it is the aspect of harmful regeneration i.e.
the method of rejuvenation. This face has the sound of Ahum or it holds the Ahum Naad inside itself. Ahum denotes the I’ness of Maker’s Makings along with the I’ness
which is held by each animate and inanimate microcosm.
It was from this face that Rudra Deva had self manifested, and thus Rudra is a Swayambhu or in different words, Rudra is self manifested deity who has no mum or
dad or relationship. Rudra of Vedas can also be the same as Allah of Islam.
Aghora holds the Gyan Shakti or power of supreme data. As a result of this motive, no aspirant can ever arrive at Atma Jnana or self information by bypassing Aghora
face of Sadashiva. Gyan Shakti can also be addressed as Goddess ‘Saraswati’ who in a while had self manifested into a attributed kind (or Sagun Sakaar Awastha) from
the mouth of Lord Brahma or the creator of allness.
from this face had been originated the Aghora Pravara, Atharvan Shaakha, Vartulakara Homagundam (altar of sacrificial hearth which is round in form), Nagopaveetam
(the sacred thread of the snake), Varna Mala (50 letters of the Sanskrit alphabet) and Dakshinagni (the hearth of and from the south) . This face destroys all sins, evil
along with granting riches (of wealth of data and material).
Aghora represents the sleep state or Sushupti’ degree of consciousness.
Among the five primary sounds of the ‘Mridanganam’, ‘Thom’ sound was manifested from Aghora. Among the many seven Swaras (notes or sounds) of music
Panchama (pa)’ has manifested from Aghora. Among the many 5 ‘Talas (rhythms)’ of conventional music and dance ‘Shatpeeta Putrika Tala’ has manifested from this
Aghora face of Sadashiva. Among the ‘Pancha Bhootam (5 components)’ Aghora is ‘Agni (fireplace)’.
Among the many chakras (or plexus’s) of our body Aghora denotes and also guidelines over the ‘Anahata Chakra (heart plexus)”. Aghora denotes the seed letter ‘SI’, in the ‘five sylabled or Panchakshari Mantra (NaMaSiVaYa)’.
As per Agama Siddha lore, out of the 28 Shaiva Agamas which were revealed by the 5 faces of Sadashiva, this Aghora face revealed Nisvasa, Svayambhuva, Vijaya,
Agneya (or Anala) and Vira, and gave them to Rishi Bharadvaja who transferred this information to 2 celestials who later on have been liable for propagating this
knowledge on Earth.
