Oh, since it's still International Asexuality Day, I wanted to briefly talk about my Ace Rings! I used to wear a black stainless steel spinner ring but decided I wanted to make a change after it got kinda stuck on my finger too many times during summer. So, I switched to a silicone ring! I've been very happy with the change and would recommend them for everyday use, especially if you work with your hands.

First, I actually indulged my inner nerd and got the Star Wars Trench Run ring on the right. I could have just gotten a plain black silicone ring (and it certainly would have been cheaper) but I wanted a design that made me happy.

Recently, I decided to get an option for days I don't want to wear Star Wars merch. That's when I got the ring on the box, which has thinner silicone inserts with different colors. Is it probably bending the rules to add a color to my Ace ring? Yes, but I love the option to coordinate with my outfits.

i have a ring that i consider to be my engagement/wedding band with my f/o and it feels so good to wear it. just a piece of comfort that i can carry with me anywhere. it’s a symbol of how much we love each other, how we prioritise each other, how real our connection is. i imagine how happy my f/o would be every time he catches sight of the ring on my hand. and how much he loves wearing his own ring, showing everyone that we belong to each other and how proud he is of that.
