((thighs))
彡drivers gamer!max verstappen
彡genre dabble/scrap
彡summary max doesn’t realize his legs would create such an uproar in his chat
彡notes based off that one video of max.. i dont know why this was a scrap its so cute 🥹.
————————-🦈-————————
max was on live, slumped in his gaming chair as luke spoke about the previous game on fifa. he put his legs up on the desk, not noticing it was in the frame of his webcam. max glanced over a the chat.
“max’s legs!!” “scandalous” “giving us some thigh max..”
max blushes and puts his leg down and out of frame. the chat immediately erupted again
“you guys cant be normal about anything” “nouuuu maxxx” “great now everyone fucked it up as they always do”
max giggles, his pale face now fully red. he never knew just his legs would cause such an uproar in the chat. “hehe sorry guys” max apologized cheekily as he prepared himself for the next game.

“On Wednesday afternoon the news came that the Grand Prix was cancelled and then Max himself came up with the idea of organizing a sim race, so that there is still something to experience for the fans this weekend, but also to draw attention to what is happening in Emilia-Romagna and to support the people affected by the storm. "So this really happens on Max's initiative," Atze Kerkhof of Team Redline told Motorsport.com. “Max will of course participate and there will be quite a few members of the Red Bull Junior Team with Enzo Fittipaldi, Ayumu Iwasa, Arvid Lindblad, Jak Crawford and Isack Hadjar. There will also be drivers from Formula E, including Antonio Felix da Costa and Oliver Rowland. Three-time Supercars champion Shane van Gisbergen and Luke Browning have also agreed to participate.”
F2 driver Richard Verschoor, Aston Martin reserve Felipe Drugovich and Alpine reserve Jack Doohan have also been confirmed via Twitter. A grid of twenty-five to thirty drivers is targeted. Kerkhof himself will also participate, just like a few other riders from the Team Redline stable. “But also Sebastian Job, who is part of the Red Bull Racing Esports team. So it will be a nice mix of professional sim drivers and names that normally come out on the track.”
Just like the previous races that were held under the name Real Racers Never Quit, they will be driven on iRacing. “We will be running four races in a row at the Imola circuit, with four different cars,” Kerkhof explains the format of Sunday's event. “We are doing a race with a Formula 3, a race with a Formula Ford, a race with a Mazda MX-5 and a race with a Toyota GR86. Max chose these cars because they are not too difficult to master in the game, are fun to drive and can make for entertaining races for the viewers. We could also have gone for a Formula 1 or GT3, but then you will spend a lot more time getting to know the game version of the car and it might also be less competitive in the races. But because we want to have races that are fun to watch first and foremost, Max picked these four.”
As mentioned earlier, Verstappen wants to raise money with the sim race for the victims of the storm in Emilia-Romagna. “We will support the same action as AlphaTauri,” explains Kerkhof. “As you know that team is based in Faenza and that place has also been hit hard. We will show a link and QR code in the stream that can be used to donate money to the emergency fund. We will encourage anyone watching to make a donation."
Setting up a major sim racing event this hastily is no easy feat. Kerkhof: “Verstappen.com Racing and Team Redline have worked together to get this event off the ground. And Verstappen.com Racing is in turn supported by Red Bull, which has helped to gather some of these drivers. So yes, it is a lot of work, but the fact that Verstappen.com Racing and Team Redline have joined forces makes it a lot easier.” - Atze van de Kerkhof about tomorrow's RRNQ (X)

Not sure how many people will care about this but I wanted to share. I'm running this Progress Pride flag style livery in iRacing on all of my cars in the simulator, I wanted to do something to celebrate that a lot of people would see and since I don't want to attend a Parade, this was tge next best thing I could do.
I think it looks cool and cute.

Okay, but he is seriously so silly. The man's entire past time is racing and his job is also racing.
I was really shocked when I saw his eye bags during Imola😭

Just saw a random guy on instagram go- max is too fast we need minimum verstappen to even out the pace a little- 😭😭😭😭
Someone show it to the man himself-
But fr- people who cannot fathom him winning are those who went through the same process for 7 years when Lewis was winning- LIKE GIVE THAT MAN A BREAK HE NEEDS THAT MONEY FOR MAINTENANCE OF HIS SIM ! 😭😭😭
Ps- I cannot wait for him to beat Lewis’s record of being 7 time world champion- !!!! 😤😤😤

"Max, you are an enthusiast of virtual racing simulators and iRacing. How much that preparation, that virtual preparation helps you in your career and also to win titles and victories in real Formula 1?"
"It's like my hobby but I take it very seriously. And I think it never hurts because you always test yourself. I mainly drive other kinds of cars on online platforms and F1 but you're always thinking about what can I improve also driving-wise but also setup-wise and that's what I enjoy. I go to bed probably thinking more about the simulator or like a car there than what I do sometimes in F1, just because I also want to do well there. It sometimes takes up a lot of time but I love it. And it's difficult to say if it actually helps me in Formula 1, but I definitely think it doesn't hurt. And also in your off-season you do that, but when I jump back in a Formula 1 car it feels like I never left."

Welcome to Minnesota!
Tumblr media
Bobby of the legendary Dwyer racing family has shown up to a home race of his, the FARC Bummin' Beaver Tornado Alley Tour at Cannon Falls, Minnesota! Bobby's own take on the Blue 72 is fielded by his parents, Darrin Craig and Becky Dwyer, the proprietors of a handful of Dwyer's Speedway Laundromat locations across Minnesota. How fitting of a presence, since Minnesota Motorsports Park looks like a superspeedway that shrank in the wash; one mile of high and wide banking that is expected to produce pack racing for the FARC late models.
Here are the points standings coming into this race:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm probably definitely not allowed up here. FARC Lowe Dollar Series regular and Minnesota native Samantha Mason couldn't resist entering tonight's race and returning to the cockpit of a late model. Mason brings her familiar Simplease colors aboard the No. 27 Tonare owned by Mike Buttke. Mason is seen here dueling in practice with Andy Anderson's No. 21 Grease Burger machine, fielded by AnderSend-It Racing. The son of car owner and former FARC competitor Jared Andersen is hoping to build momentum on his second top 10 of the season, a ninth place finish at the caution-free LaCrosse race, but he's been frustrated that he doesn't have more to show for his speed this season, thanks to multiple mechanical failures keeping the pole winner of the opening race in Ishpeming out of better finish.
Tumblr media
Despite the tie being broken between championship co-leaders Gordon Tanner (No. 26) and Mindy Gunn (No. 35), the two veteran-aged rookies remain close, with Gunn trailing Tanner by only two points entering tonight. Gordon Tanner may be new to the FARC ranks but he brings with him an extensive background of racing around his home of Iowa, and it showed when he dominated the first two points races at Ishpeming and the Quincy qualifying race. However, he tripped in his point-collecting spree by crashing early in the Quincy feature and struggling in Grundy County, which allowed Mindy Gunn to close up to a tie by winning the latter race. Gunn has enjoyed unexpected breakout success in FARC racing alongside the Mint-Berry Berserkers, the roller derby team-turned-pit crew that she captains. Unlike her championship rival, she did not turn her first laps on a short track until after she was 30 with guidance from crew chief and fellow Berserker Nikki Brillon, but she has learned quickly and taken great advantage of the support from Lynxe this season.
