houston morrisey, 26: lowkey has anger issues and denies it while being argumentative and angry... an amazing photographer, loves media production and any music genre as long as it can be played loudly. always in competition with his best friend shayne

jaxon guzman, 31: kinda unhinged, you just don't know what goes on in that mind of his. freaks out customers works at a marijuana dispensary in del sol valley and has a gf that's equally unhinged

kevin offerman, 25: studies early childhood development at ubrite, loves 2000's pop music, green tea and cozy video games. he's also hope and jamison's nanny 🤍

kieran panzacola, 33: looks tough bc he is. definitely the strong and silent type but has a super soft spot for his puppy maddie ;-;

kristian wang, 21: lifestyle influencer from san myshuno, rarely interacts with sims not in his social circle. claims to be humble and down to earth while bragging about purchasing his first home at 19

myles cook, 26: has tons of friends, the guy to go to if you wanna know where the best parties are. lost count of the amount of piercings he has but wants more smh (if you can't tell i love my alt boys sm)

noel easley, 20: lives solely on ramen, granola bars and mcdonald's french fries. very easy going, is absolutely loved by his friends and peers. he's also an expert at crochet and sells his creations on plopsy! (pls buy a hat he needs more fries)

Isiah: So Minthe's been sleeping in your room huh?

Braden: Why does it matter to you? They're together and no one cares when you bring someone to your room so why're you bringing it up.

Kevin: And that's all we're doing

Isiah: Sure, sure. Hot little number like that in my bed and sleeping is all we'd be doing too *wink*

Kevin: WHICH IS EXACTLY WHY MY GIRLFRIEND IS IN MY BED AND NOT YOURS! She's not ready for that yet and I sure as fuck am not going to force her to be!

Isiah: She's a . . . ? Oh you gotta let me put that on SimHub! That'll make us so much cash!

Kevin jumps to his feet, moving to grab the other man when Braden stops him.

Braden: He's kidding Kev, tell him you're fucking kidding Is!

Isiah: Yeah just joking, you know how I am.

Braden: See? Now, no need to get blood all over anything. Let's turn off the romance channel and turn on the comedy one and calm down a bit.

Kevin grunts an assent, knowing that if he did mange to break Isiah's face that Minthe would be the one asked to clean up his mess with her magic, and sits back down but keeps his eyes glued to Isiah. Braden changes the channel to try to simmer down their flirty and angry moods which turns into the largest mistake of the day.

Being a Goofball Braden is always in a playful mood but the jokes from the comedian throw him into hysteria and so we get a visit from Grim

Kevin instantly challenges The Reaper to chess thinking his Maxed Logic skill will save his friend . . .

Unfortunately Kevin loses but Grim is quite impressed by his determination to keep his friend with him he spares the poor soul (Now if only we could get him to calm down and get rid of the playful moodlets that'd be great). Not knowing that Braden has been brought back, Kevin remains outside with his head in his hands dreading having to plan a Funeral for his friend and having to call his parents.

Grim: Your boyfriend's one of the good ones Minthe. Not many try to save their loved ones from being reaped before their time. I remember you trying to get me to spare your grandmother as well. Such a small feisty thing thinking she could intimidate me of all people to revoke my claim on a soul.

Minthe: Yeah well, I did love her very much. I know now it was her time and she lived a full life but she was my best friend. Is she doing OK?

Grim: I'm sure she is. I don't speak to souls once they move on but I'm sure she is happy. Now, go console Kevin before his sadness forces me to come for him too.

Minthe does her best to raise Kevin's spirits and though he's still being affected by his lingering grief it seems to be working. Finally they both agree that the best thing to do to get over today's awful beginning is to go on a date after classes are finished.

At the spring festival, the two of them play chess (their favorite pastime together), and play with the Llama and chickens.

Minthe also decides to try her hand at pottery (since it is one of her classes this term) while Kevin works on a flower arrangement. He hasn't given Minthe any flowers for Love Day yet and thinks she would enjoy an entire bouquet that he put together more than a rose he bought from the store. He could have given her one of the chrysanthemums or bluebells from the garden but he didn't want to give her her own flowers that she grew.

Another successful date for the record books

Once at home, Minthe quickly bakes two cakes for Micah and Kaylee's birthdays.
