i hate it when, purely because i have npd, people assume everything i’m doing is trying to make people feel bad for me/get attention because when i hurt myself or i am genuinely upset with something, it is seen as me fishing for attention and being hateful or spiteful towards family and friends but it ISN’T about them it really fucking isn’t. and that’s what neurotypicals do not get, no narcissists are not specifically targeting your feelings or doing everything for the attention, pity or admiration of others, we are human beings as well, not everything we go through has some kind of ulterior motive.

they forget that people with npd are MENTALLY ILL and not complete and total all the time grandiose masterminds who manipulate everyone we see. most manipulative behaviours PWnpd inflict are completely unconscious and uncontrollable because of the environmental pressures they grew up in, these tactics are not to cause pain, these tactics are to stop us from getting hurt physically or emotionally. we are actual human beings, we just don’t experience empathy the way most people do because we weren’t shown empathy, which is a made up concept btw. our self importance is a survival strategy in stressful situations, it’s not an insult to you because despite you not having the “evil bastard disorder” you’re more ‘textbook narcissistic’ than most narcissists.

and nobody, not even researchers of NPD, will acknowledge our hurt and see that we are in fact humans with pressures that have caused us to be this way, psychiatrists, psychologists and therapists have refused to help me because even they have this stereotypical and ableist view of PWnpd, and because i live in Britain, they’re allowed to. it is extremely hard for anyone get treatment for this illness anywhere because of the stigma, very least anyone can do is treat us like humans instead of manipulation machines, and the very least you can do is not act as if we are some unfathomable evil out for blood and stop with that ‘every narcissist is an abuser’ bullshit.

it's so baffling to see israel just get away with bombing multiple countries in the name of self defence. as if israel doesn't have a history of targeting hospitals and schools and kindergartens and refugee camps.

i remember when israel bombed a refugee camp last may. they used bombs that could level multiple city blocks on tents made out of tarp sheltering refugees. i remember the outrage and the protests following that.

why do people consider “kill yourself” a death threat when it completely and totally isn’t? it’s not even a threat, it’s a subjective command. a death threat would be threatening that you’re going to somehow bodily harm this person like “i’ll fucking kill you.” but saying “kill yourself” is just a way to express frustration or dislike for the person. sure it isn’t the best thing to say to someone who is immature or mentally disturbed but neither are most insults/expressions of frustration. ultimately it comes down to “i fucking hate you and i want you gone but i don’t want to hurt you myself so i hope you kill yourself” rather than “i’m going to force you to do this thing and therefore i’m going to hurt you”. trust me, people could say worse, people do say worse, “kill yourself” isn’t that bad, you can just not kill yourself, you can’t just not get murdered.

Harrison and Brian would have been too amazing of a duo to happen so showtime had to cut that shit off, nip that shit in the bud. I saw a post a couple days ago basically theorising that Brian had valium to knock out Joe or because he slept good and I didn’t even click on for like a couple days. But Brian has valium because it’s a borderline personality disorder medication for short crisis. It just might be because he had borderline personality disorder and sure he may have used them as sedatives but he also couldn’t have got valium without a prescription or permission from a pharmacy. And given the fact that Brian spends his childhood and teenage years in a mental hospital, he took medication to regulate his mood at least in that time and was prescribed medication when he left. It even reaffirms this diagnosis in original sin which is about the only thing that story doesn’t change. If you literally google valium/Diazepam, it says it has an average rating of 8.0 out of 10 from a total of 17 reviews for the off-label treatment of borderline personality disorder.

It is also shown in the original sin Brian file that he was on medication and that it was stolen by his psychiatrist. But original sin is a different whole can of worms.
