What I Read This Week: March 17th

Hey! Here is this week's installment of what I've been reading! I focused on some bigger pieces this week so it's really not as many as usual!

Come Over (Again)- Au of the Au by @punk-gremlin- Shayne/Ian - I re-read this so I could leave a comment because I hadn't before. This is an AU of Jace's fic Come Over (Again) wherein Ian is a trans man and has a three year old daughter with Anthony and in this AU he also gets pregnant by Shayne. You don't necessarily have to read Come Over (Again) to understand this fic, but it certainly helps! I love how Jace writes issues of gender and pregnancy so big fave for me!

I'm Here by @wtfissgoingonn Ian/Anthony- but reads mainly platonic with some underlying feelings going on. This is a beautiful and quiet look at Ian and his feelings revolving around Anthony as well as a look at anxiety and comfort coming from having his best friend. So sweet and soft and cuuuuute.

I Think Last Night I May Have Bit Off More Than I Can Chew by @punk-gremlin - Ian/Anthony - ianthony - a chaptered fic where Ian is a trans man and he and Anthony are FWBs as teenagers when Ian becomes pregnant and gives birth to their son Hunter. This is an excellent study of family dynamics, angst, love, parenting, and Hunter is so well fleshed out and feels like a real person! 30 chapters (as of posting this but it is not finished) but it is worth it and Jace writes his chapters in manageable sizes so it doesn't feel overly long and makes you want to click that next chapter button!

Anthony's body by @hecoxthirst - Ian/Anthony - ianthony - A Jennifer's Body AU! Such a good idea and I've never seen the movie so this fic was my exposure to it. It captures the spirit of the film but also incorporates the accurate characterization of Ian and Anthony. Very cool concept and very well executed! It is gory just so you know!

This Isn't A Fanmeet by SingTidecaller- Gen - This is a horror themed fic that is violent but not tagged for character death so I assume that as of writing no one has/will die? But the Smosh crew wakes up involved in an alien death game. There is humor in this fic and it is very well written and a very interesting plot! Three chapters as of this posting.

forgive my lying eyes by @tommybowefuneralattendee - Shayne/Spencer - shayncer - very interesting fic where Shayne and Spencer are FWBs. There are misunderstandings and miscommunications, but the dialogue feels very real and the spicy scenes are also realistic and very sensual!
