Dorm (2006)
Release Date: February 2nd, 2006
I wanted to start watching all of the horror movies I missed, or was able to see, in high school. I googled the list of horror movies from 2006-2010, and found more than just American horror movies, so I decided to become more cultured and watch them all. This was the first one to be released, in February 2006. It’s a Thai film about a boy who catches his father having an affair, and is shipped off to a boarding school. At that boarding school, he is told stories of a boy who drowned, and they affect him so he’s a loner. He befriends another boy who is also a loner, only to discover that this friend is the ghost of the boy who drowned, and he relives his death every night. The boy has to find a way to save him and convince the school headmistress his death was an accident. That’s what I gathered from it, at least. I watched it with subtitles. As a horror film, it’s not very good. And the story is obviously really cheesy. And I have no idea how to tell if the actors are good or not. But the music in it was really nice.
Rating: C. It wasn’t super interesting, as a horror film. Kind of an okay mystery, though.

Kwan and Mhog holding hands for the first time made my night. The way he always looks at her makes me swoon.

True Pairing Tuesday:
Have to admit, my OTP on this show so far is Kwan and Mhog. Especially that scene where he's teaching her to take photos.
Also that scene at the mall where Sprite tells Kwan that everyone knows he likes her. I swear if Win's return ruins everything for them I'm going to be so mad.

That last scene where Mhog sees Kwan looking at Win….and snaps a picture of it. STOP IT YOU ARE BREAKING MY HEART. Also kudos to whoever blocked out this scene for making an actual, visual “Love Triangle.”
