Cowok yang hobi banget pake baju lengan buntung dan berposisi sebagai drummer dalam band yang ia bentuk bersama teman temannya. Ya, dia adalah Ex yang kerap bergaya nyentrik dan kocak sukses membuat penonton terhibur. Sinopsis :

Ped adalah kutu buku di SD yang tidak memiliki minat musik. Sejak teman sekelasnya Ern berbagi kecintaannya pada musik dengannya, Ped jadi menyukai Ern. Tapi orang tua Ern membawanya pergi ke Bangkok membuat mereka berdua terpisah. Sampai suatu hari mereka berdua bertemu lagi di SMA. Di sekolah, Ern adalah jagoan gitar yang digila-gilai sementara Ped masih seorang kutu buku. Mereka berencana untuk membentuk band rock bersama teman dekat mereka dengan harapan mendapatkan gadis-gadis popular. Masalahnya mereka harus terus menerus gagal sebelum sukses.

Review :

Ceritanya mengenai kisah seorang pemuda yang bernama Ped yang sejak kecil udah jatuh cinta ama Ern, tapi gak pernah berani buat mengungkapin hal itu, sampai akhirnya takdir mempertemukan mereka kembali sewaktu SMA, dan disana berkat inisiatif Kong yang akhirnya juga diketahui Ped menyukai Ern mereka membentuk Band bersama Ex untuk menarik perhatian Ern. Tetapi tujuan pembuatan band itu berubah ketika Kong di tolak Ern, dan dari sanalah petualangan band mereka yang bernama Suck Seed dimulai, mereka bukan lagi mengejar Ern tetapi mereka fokus untuk mengejar Popularitas (Thanks you To Bodyslam band.. hahaha...).

Singkat kata mereka berhasil memasuki Kontes Kejuaraan Band tingkat SMA, tetapi konflik terjadi ketika akhirnya Kong mengetahui Ped udah pacaran dengan Ern tanpa memberi tahu dia, dan mengacaukan pertunjukkan mereka. Pertunjukkan berakhir, Band terpaksa bubar karena keegoisan Kong, dan hubungan Ern dan Ped terpaksa bubar juga karena tidak enak dengan Kong. Epilog dimulai ketika beberapa tahun telah berlalu dan di adakannya reuni sekolah yang mempertemukan mereka bersama kembali. Ern yang terlanjur sukses dengan Arena Band ternyata masih memiliki rasa yang sama dengan Ped (walaupun tidak jelas juga mereka akhirnya balikan atau hanya sebagai teman saja), dan Ped akhirnya berinisiatif untuk baikkan dengan Kong dan dari titik itulah Suck Seed Band yang sudah lama tertidur akhirnya kembali bangkit dengan cara yang mengharukan.

First Look at Netflix Thai Original ‘The Believers’: Three Ambitious Entrepreneurs Turn Faith into Fortune

Fresh from the “bigger and bolder” reveal of the main cast at the Next on Netflix Thailand event, Netflix is now unveiling the first look stills of The Believers. Debuting on March 27, the series promises to take viewers on a unique business journey where faith has a price tag.

The Believers tells the tale of a group of young and ambitious entrepreneurs who, after a streak of failed startups, stumble upon an unorthodox "business opportunity" that could help them pay off substantial debt by capitalizing on people's religious convictions.

The trio includes Win (James Teeradon Supapunpinyo), a young computer engineer dropout who leads the team in marketing planning; his best friend, Dear (Ally Achiraya Nitibhon), a graphic designer who also oversees PR; and Game (Peach Pachara Chirathivat), an adventurous teenager who brings funding to the table. Together, they rebrand the lone Phummaram Temple, transforming it into a lucrative source of income.  The series also features memorable characters like Monk Dol (Pup Patchai Pakdeesusuk), Tang (Tik Channarong Khantheethao) and Monk Ekachai (Petch Paophet Charoensook).

Wattanapong Wongwan, one of Thailand’s up-and-coming directors, took his inspiration for the series from his childhood. Born and raised in a Buddhist family, he visited temples on special occasions and learnt about the religion in school. Over time, as society evolved and his perspectives shifted, he began to question conventional beliefs, which prompted him to start drafting this series five years ago.

“At the beginning, the religion felt familiar to me, but through extensive research, I uncovered deeper insights that I had previously imagined,” he says. “As I developed the script, I observed society becoming more open-minded, with the very questions that intrigued me now emerging in contemporary discourse. Therefore, I believe the time has come to delve into the questions that have piqued my curiosity since childhood.”
