Welcome back to Sniper Elite V2 Remastered! In this episode, we take on Mission Three: Mittelwerk Facility, where we infiltrate a heavily fortified Nazi weapons facility. 🕵️‍♂️ Detailed Walkthrough & Secrets: 1️⃣ Mission Start - Infiltration:

Begin the mission by sticking to the shadows and avoiding patrols.

Use suppressed weapons and silent takedowns to remain undetected.

Gold Bar #1 can be found near the first guard post.

2️⃣ Navigating the Facility:

Enter through ventilation ducts to avoid enemy patrols.

Use trip mines and landmines to set traps for enemy reinforcements.

Wine Bottle #1 is located on a desk near the missile production area.

3️⃣ Sabotaging the Missile Site:

Place explosives on the V2 rockets to halt production.

Use high-ground sniping spots to eliminate enemy guards from a distance.

Gold Bar #2 is found in the control room near the radar panels.

4️⃣ Escape & Extraction:

Take cover and eliminate pursuing enemies as you head towards the extraction point.

Final Wine Bottle is on a crate near the exit tunnel.

In fact, I even imagined if ZA Schweiger went to save himself in SE v2 :

cause for the former one, it will be a piece of cake to knock down an officer

Imma curious which version of Dr.Efram do you like more?

After all, there r subtle differences in personality and other aspects between him from the SE series and the ZA series

Glad you asked!!! To put it real simple and blunt, ZA Schweiger because we simply get more time with him and he gets to develope a lot more, I adore SE Schwaiger but he's not around a lot and goes very quickly and it sucks because they could have had him last a little longer and have more grounding in the plot because overall he was a solid character, sassy in the face of execution.

ZA Schweiger is just a wittle guy, a lot of anxiety, a big nerd with a big heart who did a near universe ending fucky wucky and we love that for him! He's so fleshed out and he's very obviously a good guy with a kind heart who wants to fix what he accidentally started under the nazis cruel gaze. He's funked six ways from Saturday but with the best intentions despite the crappy cards he was dealt

Love them both but ZA gets a extra kiss

🧟‍♂️KARLFRAM ANALYSIS🧟‍♂️

Thought I'd finally explain why I love Karl Fairburne x Efram Schweiger so much. There's a long explanation below. (Also, yes I'm aware in probably looking way too deeply into this but hey, that's what a rare pair shipper had gotta do for a rare pair 🥲)

Anyway, here I go! Hope I can convince more to join me in Karlfram hell 😉 I have a lot of thoughts about these two.

❤️The pair are complete opposites. One is a rough and ready sniper and the other is a bookworm who doesn't enjoy fighting. You know what they say 'opposites attract'.

❤️Their names describe each other as much as themselves. Efram means 'fruitful or productive' and Schweiger means 'to be silent'. Being productive in silence is something Karl does as a lone sniper and is something Efram does when he's studying the Occult.

Karl means 'free man' which is something Efram longs to be. But guilt keeps him trapped. (Fairburne, or at least the closest equivalent 'Fairburn' means beautiful stream. A flowing stream is free, Karl is free. Once again, something that Efram isn't.)

❤️The cutscene of Karl about to take the shot at a certain disgusting idiot with one ball and no brain is an important one (an iconic one that appeared in the ZAT pre-order comic) and Efram happens to be partially in it. (Boris is partly visible, but the lighting doesn't highlight him.)

You'd think it'd be just the hero and the evil in this showdown scene but Efram is in it, standing near Karl (thought he's not fully on screen. You can't miss him). I believe it's a little symbolic for him to be there for the shot that was supposed to end the dead war because Efram is the one who started it all and Karl is the one who will end It all. The pair are beginning and end.

❤️The two are almost always together on screen (there's too many to screenshot. But If you rewatch all of ZAT's cutscenes you'll see.)

Even in the flashback of ZA4:DW they're together. (You'd think they'd put Karl at the front of the group being the leader and all but nope, he's at the back with Efram.)

Even in the original Sniper Elite Zombie Army they're together and together also in a V2 remastered screenshot.

I think they're always together because Efram feels safest with Karl, and Karl feels more protective of Efram than anyone else because Efram isn't a soldier, he has no experience in combat. Aside from always being close together, the two look at one another a lot, sharing reassuring nods sometimes. There's even this split second smile exchange.

❤️In this scene where the Sagarmatha relic fails on Efram, he looks at Karl in shock and then looks apologetic for the relic letting them down like that and gives it back.

When Karl takes the relic, his hand gently brushes over Efram's like he's quietly reassuring him.

❤️In ZA4's tarot pack set, Karl is shown having Efram's card on his rifle (our elite sniper's favourite gun) meaning he'll see it often, see Efram often.

❤️In Sniper Elite V2 Karl tried to save Efram. At the end of ZA4 Ragnarok Part 2 Efram manages to save Karl. Across the worlds it seems they're fated to be one another's hero.

❤️Efram sees Karl as a knight and Karl gives him hope. In the collectable found in Zombie Zoo 'Schweiger's Notes: Four Knights Cometh' Efram writes about Karl:

'The last is their leader, and one of those who cast the great leader into Hell.

I look at the people we have in the Resistance, and I think I see who these four knights are, and this gives me hope.'

Here are some snippets of dialogue from Karl's side towards him.

•In ZA4 Karl says something flirtatious sounding in Deeper Than Hell towards Efram. When Efram asks how some occult device works Karl says “You tell me. You're the brains. I've just got the eyes and ears… and the muscle. Now I've got some zombies to kill!” (Line at 1:16)

•In Zombie Zoo after finding out Efram is alive, Karl casually says, "hah. That man is unkillable.” (Line at 3:07) when everyone else is like "he's alive?!?" At the news. Maybe Karl knew that Efram wasn't dead all along because he knows just how tough Efram can be.

•Karl has a unique reaction to Efram turning evil because of the Baron. When everyone else has to fight Efram they sadly say things like “have you gone mad!? No doctor! Don't do this!” But Karl sounds angry, hurt, telling him “Schweiger… You've done enough harm. It's time we ended this.” He's the only one who reacts this way. Karl sounds like he's trying to make it easier on himself to fight Efram. (Line at 3:33)

•Karl is the only one who calls him Schweiger without the doctor part in the rocket launch scene. He drops the formalities and says, "this one's for Schweiger!" (Line at 3:27)

•Karl trusts Efram to know who he is by voice alone whereas some survivors say their names. (Line at 1:28)

•This affectionate "Goddamit Schweiger" quote is gold to me. Karl isn't angry at him though you think he would be. (Line at 2:24)

And further on in the video at 2:40 he sounds really happy when thanking Efram when his usual thank you lines in game on the dialogue wheel aren't as cheerful as this. (Also Karl happily calling Efram 'doc' occasionally is cute to me. A nickname from the ever professional and serious Karl is quite surprising.)

Again, Karl sounding like he knows Efram is still alive (line at 0:04) He has faith in him for sure.

If ZAT had voiced cutscenes I bet Efram would say a lot of interesting things to Karl.

Now, some headcanons I have for them:

•In the Sniper Elite continuity, Karl was born and raised in Berlin. He and Efram might have briefly met as children.

•In the ZAT universe I believe either Karl or Efram feel a familiarity about the other they can't quite place (it's a feeling of déjà vu brought on by them knowing each other in V2.)

•If ZAT had voiced cutscenes I could imagine Karl teasing Efram, calling him ‘bookworm/specs’ or telling Efram to watch him ‘the elite’ if he needs a little help on how to handle guns better. Efram would act irritated but secretly love the jokes that lighten the mood.

•I believe Karl taught Efram how to shoot better, and that Efram also learned leadership skills from Karl and that's how he was able to lead his own squad of deadhunters in the Last Rites comic.

•Efram has definitely sketched Karl in the back of that little notepad he has in ZA4. As well as everyone else, but Karl must've been the first he sketched.

•In ZA4 Efram still has his survivor brigade armband on his left arm. Whilst Efram's clothes have changed, his armband remains.

I think Efram is wearing it to remember all he went through with his team, especially Karl. He's most certainly treasuring the memory of being wanted and protected, something he craves to feel after what he was forced to do.

~Bonus thing I noticed about them~

•Karl and Efram are wearing the same scarf in ZA4 except Karl's is green and Efram's is black. Either one is copying the other. (I can't get a good pic of ZA4 Efram from the front view.)

I don't play very many games... Animal Crossing: New Horizons, I guess? 🤔 I haven't played it in forever and at this point I'm kinda scared to go back... I've missed so much.

Another game I really enjoyed this year was Sniper Elite V2. I think it was the remastered version for the XBOX 360 (DON'T JUDGE ME!!!) I got it off Amazon in July. It took me a week to finish the whole game and I've completed it over 4 times cuz I love it so much. I wanna play it again sometime tomorrow (or today) now that it's on my mind. Karl Fairbourne MY BELOVED!!!😌😋

Sniper Elite V2 ended up being much more fun then i expected

Schweiger, bleeding from his gut and barely breathing: .,,,..,,,,,,, Karl: What? What did you say? Schweiger: Eatma... Schweiger: *dies* Karl: ...Finally! The name of the enemy's plan!

i still can't get over this moment in V2 yo

That moment from V2 will always haunt me but hey atleast schwaiger got one last laugh over Karl.

Also the idea of schwaiger pulling an eatma dick on Karl and him fully taking it as the next step in the germans plans makes me all types of happy!!!
