Scourge and his sibs

I have no clue why they turned out so orange, probs cus I was drawing with my nightlight setting on, I'll tweak the colors laterrrr

SO

Snowfur has her litter of four, and the parents plan to raise them is…suspicious at best. Thistleclaw is showing his just weaned kits fighting moves, and praising them for unsheathed claws in their play - at least when alone. Snowfur makes them walk and wean as soon as she can, and often leaves them to go “hunting”. There are suspicions, but no real evidence of wrongdoing. But it takes little Coldkit talking to Featherwhisker to set things in motion.

Coldkit hides in the medicine den one night, when Whitekit is bedded down with a sniffly nose. Coldkit proceeds to scare the fur off of Featherwhisker, and then stun the healer when the small kit asks if he can see the funny old looking cat too. From the description it’s Goosefeather, and Featherwhisker gently gets more information from the fearful kit. Papa said it’s bad to see the starry cats, that the dirty smelly ones are stronger. Mama says the starry cats won’t let us train in the stinky dark place, but I don’t like it…you promise I won’t be in trouble for telling? Mama said I would get put in the river…did I do a bad thing?

Of course not, Featherwhisker purrs, but your mom and dad might be in trouble. But that’s not your fault, or any of your siblings faults either. Promise.

As soon as Coldkit falls asleep, Featherwhisker wakes Sunstar, and tells him everything. The next day, they confirm everything with Coldkit and Whitekit. Sunstar asks Bluefur and Thrushpelt (proud parents of three kits) to keep an eye on Snowfur and Thistleclaw, and goes to the Moonstone. He never says what he sees there, but he has the parents watched carefully. Shortly after Snowfur and Thistleclaw are found to be attacking kittypets for no reason, and after Thistleclaw literally tries to kill Sunstar, in full view of the clan, the pair are banished. Coldkit, Whitekit, Silverkit, and Cardinalkit are raised by Bluefur and Thrushpelt alongside Stonekit, Mistykit, and Mosskit.

It takes time for the siblings to relearn how to be normal kits, but Silver and Cardinal never completely forgive their brother for their parents leaving. The pair understand what happened to them was wrong, but it still hurt to lose mom and dad. Cold and White miss the good times, but see Bluefur and Thrushpelt as their parents.

Coldherb is a wonderful medicine cat, and good friend with warriors Willowpelt, Spottedleaf, and Redtail. Whitestorm settled down with Tigerstripe and Brindleface. Silvertooth is a great mentor, and Cardinalstone a fierce warrior. They are close with Stonefur, Mistyfoot, and Mosspelt.

Crystal’s family tree! There’s no changes from canon, but when I get time I’ll reblog with a bunch of headcanons for them! Despite most of these characters having little to none information on them I have a lot of thoughts on them.

Also I accidentally wrote Ruby’s name with a d but I’m not fixing it

Wanted to try making one of those genetically accurate warrior cats family trees, but ended up picking an incredibly boring mostly unchanging lot. Oops

Changes:

Jake now has some white

Ruby is a tortie

Some redesigns!! Finally got some time to do these. First up is sisters Dovewing and Ivypool. Dovewing's actual design didn't actually change all that much, the main thing I wanted to fix was the shapes, also put in some form of freckles. Ivypool changed completely, basically what happened was like months ago I sketched out an Ivypool design and thought 'yeah this is a lot better'. Also fun fact Ivypool and Dovewing share the same palette here :3. Then I also changed Thriftear a lot. Some people like to draw Bris as a sort of tortie, but I could never really get behind that. But I can get behind Thrift being a sort of tortie. Flipclaw is also basically the same, the main thing I wanted was the little heart on his forehead. Also adjusted the lighter color to be warmer, and changed his eye color to match Ivypool's. Then next is Frecklewish from Thunderclan, I never really liked her first design, and it was more a placeholder than anything because I couldn't figure out how I wanted her to look. But I figured it out now! Gave her the eyebrows so they don't skip a generation. And finally are Ruby and Socks, Scourge's littermates. I wanted to make Ruby a tortie, but like obnoxiously orange/red coloring. Toned it down a little at the end, but the vision is still there. For Socks, mostly just wanted his foreleg markings to extend up so it looks like he's actually wearing socks, I don't know how the color change happened.

my favourite designs so far- i imagine jake bringing socks and scarlet to windclan but keeping tiny, as he deems him unfit to be a warrior. tiny/scorch (scrouge), scarletdawn (ruby) and adderfoot (socks)

Scourge ,Ruby and socks as feathertail and crowfeather kits or Ashfur and hawkfrost kits you can choose which one

inch resting concept...Imma say Feathertail goes to Windclan with Crowfur/feather, but she and her smallest, web-footed kit Seedkit are scorned, unlike sleek and thin Cardinalkit and Ravenkit. After an event that leaves Seed LITERALLY scarred by his own mentor and siblings, Feathertail leaves for Riverclan with Seedpaw, and they thrive. Seedfoot is known as having a hate for his kin in Windclan, but also as a solid mentor and good shoulder to cry on. Even if the average Riverclan cat has to bend down to reach it.

(Really, Feathertail living would NOT have improved Crowfeather)
