Im just fantasizing and projecting at this point lol but shh im thinking (and of course its College AU) Utonium wanting to surprise Chloe with a spontaneous road trip at night away from Townsville to go stargazing because she mentioned one time she thinks constellation is fake because she sees no shape of stars in the sky. Utonium laughed and tell her it's totally real, just the light pollution in the city makes it hard to see any stars in the sky. Chloe admits she never went stargazing before and asked if Utonium ever had it. He says he does a bunch of time throughout his childhood and brought along his telescope his dad gave to him on his 10th birthday to those trip. He said it was really fun especially when he tries to look for constellation and connect the stars to form the constellation he sees in his textbook. Chloe expressed her jealousy because she likes road trip but also she never really had those chances with her family let alone her dad. Utonium smiled and promised they will need to go to those trip someday.

Anyway, Utonium borrowed a mini van from his brother (more like renting it for a day after he begged him to let it used it for a day hhh) and stuffed them up with his childhood telescope, blankets, snacks, drinks, a few pillows, a picnic mat and a portable radio so they could maybe lay down and chill while staring at the sky through the sun roof. He knocked on her door and when she opens the door, he tells her they're going on an impromptu road trip and Chloe just jumped to him excitedly because she always wished for it and asked him to give her 5 minutes to pack.

In the van, they chatted a lot from their personal life to their favourite songs. Chloe wasn't aware that he has a brother and always thought he's a single child and he corrected that he's his older brother and they didn't get along that well when they were younger since they have a huge age gap ( I hc'd that they have a 10+year age gap) but they're on a good terms now since he's in his 20s. Utonium always have a feeling that she probably came from a big family since he always feel like she has a nurturing personality and she confirmed that she has 6 siblings growing up and her mom used to babysat the kids in her neighborhood so she takes care of them and help around the house a lot just to lessen the burden. She loves the kids but she loves messing with them more and make them cry because she took their noses hhhh. Utonium doesn't like the Beatles and thought they're overrated and Chloe spends 10 mins on convincing him that they're good and whips out their casettes from the casette pouch she brought along for the trip. The trip lasted almost 3 hours before they reached the nice spot away from the city or any light pollution.

When he pulled up in a grassy field, Chloe is already excited to see the sky since she already saw sprinkles of stars decorating the sky on the road and she can't wait to see it more and up close when they arrived. She is surprised that Utonium actually already laid out a spot for them to lay down at the backseat since she was too excited and distracted to even check the backseat and just as she was about to squeal and cry because of how sweet he is, he went out and laid down a mat outside and set up his telescope so they could see planets and stars and maybe chill outside for a while.

They spend 10 mins outside checking out planets and moon in awe, hearing Utonium gushes about the planets and solar system while Chloe looked at the moon trying to look for the US flag planted there. They ended up crawling back in the van because it's getting colder outside and wrapped themselves in blankies while drinking some tea from the thermo and munching on some already cold gyros.

While laying down, they looked at the sky mentally drawing lines to connect the stars. Chloe still couldn't see any shapes of the constellation even though Utonium insisted that the big dipper is literally in front of them. Even so, Chloe still thinks the night sky is gorgeous and almost unreal for her to witness. She thanked Utonium for driving her so far just to see the stars and confesses that nobody really put this much effort for her and embarassed that she trouble himself just so she could stargaze at an empty field. Utonium assured her it's not a big deal and he wants to spend more time with her alone and away from school and even with all the shiny stars decorating the sky and gracing their eyes, he still thinks Chloe is the brightest star to him and each time he sees her even on his gloomiest day, she brightens up his day and truly believes she's the light of his life.

Bliss was created on September 17, 1985 Via the original Project Amazon, an attempt to genetically modify Human DNA to study how genetic sequences can result in META humans. The head of the project Professor Drake Utonium intended to create a standard enhanced human but when he used Chemical-W02 to mutate the DNA, The META gene was far more potent than expected. The result was a huge explosion of strange energy, when the smoke cleared a small infant was found in the center of the crater. Utonium decided to raise the child while studying her, testing her capabilities.

Her emotional state seems to have a huge effect on her META abilities. She soon grew emotionally unstable and became a hazard to everyone and everything around her, including herself. Utonium tried his best to quell her rage and teach her to control her powers. After an incident where Bliss suffered a severe emotional breakdown, she unintentionally caused the professor's house and lab to explode. When she awoke she saw that the professor was unconscious, though severely injured he was alive, however Bliss believed him to be dead.

Bliss flew into deep space and wondered the universe for 8 years. Taking a vow to not return to earth until she can control her emotions. She rested on a empty, dead world far from the solar system and trained her mind so that she can prevent any emotional outburst. As she aged her powers started to develop, now she can fuse with any living life form to enhance her powers. Now an adult she feels that she can return to earth, but when she entered earths orbit the guilt she felt "killing" her father prevented her to enter the atmosphere, so she landed on the moon, there she still watches the planet, waiting for the day where she feels ready to see her old home again...

FusionFall Headcanons: Numbuh One

Due to the mention in the official FusionFall manga of multiple KND bases across Earth’s solar system and the way many of the game’s characters are aged-up, I approach this as the events of the game taking place after the KND finale and what would’ve been the spin-off focusing on the GKND--the idea being that the GKND’s plan to erase the “disease of adulthood” through mass genocide ended in failure, but that some peace now under the full knowledge of all operatives was established between it and Earth’s faction. My assumption is that Numbuh One would undoubtedly have some major hand in this; however, given how he was shown to also seemingly have been corrupted/deceived by the group in the trailer for the spin-off, I also imagine it would’ve been incredibly difficult for him to return to Sector V due to a heavy sense of guilt.  He feels like a traitor to not only the KND and Earth, but to his friends and family. Therefore, even if he still acts as a KND operative, Numbuh One has chosen to distance himself as an independent operative rather than rejoin his sector. 

In truth, Numbuh One does still maintain a lot of respect from the rest of the KND as a whole and his friends are more than willing to forgive him.  It’s just hard for them to fully piece together the bond they shared as a team.  He was gone for a long time, his loyalty to the GKND made him their enemy, and now he holds them at arm’s length.  Talks are awkward and someone’s going to end up with their foot in their mouth by the end of them.  Really, they need to get through those hurdles: It’s just going to take some time and the need to focus on Earth’s war with Fuse hasn’t made it easier for any of them.  

Numbuh One isn’t completely alone though. His experience working with the GKND made it clear to command that he’d be a great operative to have teamed up with the Plumbers.  As such, he’s found himself back into a leadership role over the other KND operatives positioned at the Townsville Park base--albeit, he largely keeps himself isolated from them as well. 

He’s not thrilled that he also has to work with adults, and part of this is because he wasn’t taken very seriously when he first arrived at the base.  While some took his reputation with a grain of salt, others such as the Scotsman were very loud and obvious with their objections to someone so young being placed not only in a combat situation, but also in a position of command.  As such, even though he’s nervously finding himself getting along with teens and young adults, he can still be really confrontational to anyone older than that--even going so far as to wear his jetboots regularly as a not-so-subtle flex to challenge an adults’ height and, by extension, authority.

Despite this, however, he actually has developed a kind of mutual respect with and mentorship under Max Tennyson. Max’s legacy and skills are things that Numbuh One admittedly has to admire, and he’s very patient and laid-back in opposition to Nigel’s more tense nature.  Although Max doesn’t know everything regarding Numbuh One, he’s also read into the situation enough to understand that he needs help.  Max encourages Nigel to improve on the skills he learned with the GKND, forgive himself, and give himself a chance to befriend others again.  

The idea of being anything other than a KND operative is hard for him.  Whatever the situation with the GKND, he still highly values childhood and what it means to him.  Still, even with the possibility of advancing in the organization as a Teen Spy or something similar, even with decommissionings being postponed in-mass thanks to the war, he knows he’s getting older. He’s not sure what to do beyond the KND, and it kind of scares him. Fortunately, with the skills he’s shown and his connection to Max, he’d easily be accepted by the Plumbers if he wanted to someday join their ranks.

In his free-time, he’ll often check in on news within the KND, whether to see how Sector V is doing, the status on the Moonbase, etc.  

According to KND fan forums, from letters and Q&A’s, “it was confirmed that Nigel might have the genes to get his uncle and grandfather's shadow suit and powers” and “it was possible but not probable.”  If he does have those genes and they’re just not active, I see that being due a great deal to Numbuh One’s nature. He can have a temper at times, but never to the point that he’d lose control over himself.  He wouldn’t allow himself to be like Father or Grandfather.  This is likely why Numbuh 0/Monty Uno never exhibited those abilities as well, from a refusal to give in to their worst and instead possess a strong, heroic will.  In contrast, if we compare that to how Father’s abilities activate in Operation: Z.E.R.O, Father regains his suit from when Monty ripped it away only after being pushed to extreme anger by Grandfather and then succumbs to his own, negative state further by giving up on the situation enitrely.
