I love picturing vampire castles like fortresses filled with other monsters all underneath the head vampire, which is 100% bc of Castlevania. So, Vamptrap would have monster-like animatronics guarding the place and roaming the halls, Castlevania-style.

Springtrap Month 26#: “Family Reunion”

Springtrap pressed his hands against the glass. Though the shadows made everything harder to see, this night guard still looked familiar. Too familiar, in fact. Was this Michael? But, if that were the case, then why would Michael look so… restrained? Where was the high energy? The thrill of “being cool” in relation to his peers? Why, where were the insults he was supposed to be receiving? They would have been music to the rabbit’s ear!

It wasn’t just a case of cold (understandable) rage towards his own father. Something—Someone—took everything else from him.

my take on vamptrap- or, er- vampweretrap! my thing is that he'd be more human-like during the day (albeit still being a vampire) and a rabbit-like creature at night. his eyes are like that because i used christopher lee dracula from the hammer horror films as reference for that but it just looks like he's baked to hell. my vamptrap au is called the remnant lovers, based on the hammer horror film the vampire lovers which in itself is an adaptation of the book carmilla by sheridan le fanu. i also tried to make their outfits somewhat victorian inspired. i primarily used jozef skezeres' dracula fanart as reference for this.

Springtrap Month 24#: “Desire”

“What’s your biggest desire, Springtrap?” Gabe asked on a whim. “It can’t just be lurking around this old building forever.”

All at once, a wave of emotions hit. Springtrap placed a hand on his undead heart. What could he answer? A much better suit? Finally reuniting with whoever was left that considered him family? Did he even want to continue his quest to defy death…?
