this is alena (al) nightstorm! he’s a lesbian and uses he/she pronouns :)

al is in a poly relationship with two charr, roxana and seneca. tho it’s more like al is dating roxana who is also dating seneca, while al and seneca are just platonic besties :) i don’t have roxana in game rn, but she and seneca are in the storm warband, and they had al join cuz they love her <3

anyway i took like a million pics of al yesterday bc i finally like her look! i originally wanted him to be more butch, but turns out that’s really difficult to do with light armor on f norn lol. still, i think i managed to get pretty masculine? i might try out using m norn for her, but she’s meant to be thin and kinda lanky… and i think the m norn bodies would be too buff :/ anyway i love al and he has a cool hammer :>

her name used to be neva

his first design was actually a really feminine girly girl type

al, seneca, and roxana were originally going to be a love triangle, but i couldn’t figure out if it should be seneca and al fighting over roxana, or roxana and al fighting over seneca. (tho with the 2nd, it was gonna be seneca and roxana who got together, and al was just gonna be sad, i think?)

then i thought that al and roxana would be a couple, and seneca was just their friend who they’d let come on their dates and stuff. he was an eternal third wheel but like. one that everyone was cool with (mostly. al didn’t really like seneca in this version lol)

eventually i just decided that i liked roxana with both al and seneca, and she has two hands!

as you can guess, al wasn’t originally planned to be a lesbian. i think she was bi? i don’t really remember lol. anyway, his current form started bc i saw people talking about wanting more butch characters, and other people talking about wanting characters who were nb/gnc who didn’t use they/them. since i’d never been super happy with al’s early designs/neva, i decided to just dump that all into him. and tada! i drew her and loved her immediately :)

so here’s some pics from a few years ago! they’re all human here bc this was before i thought about putting them in gw2 lol so al and roxana are on the top row, and seneca’s on the bottom row with both his human and werewolf forms :)

Ozai in the Homestead Community reminds me of the Through Heaven's Eyes scene from The Prince of Egypt where the desert tribe takes in Moses and show him how to live again. I can really see Ozai and Niwa wedding like Moses and Tzipporah with the big bond fire in the background and entire community celebrating ❤️

The lyrics fit the situation SO well, from questioning whether any of the mountain's rocks are more important than the others, or the tapestry not seeing it's place in the whole design, the difference between a king and a shepherd to a lost sheep, and the man who loses everything could actually be facing a brighter future, to talking about life being changed and you must keep going on like... AUGH

and YES to Ozai and Niwa having a celebratory community wedding that's just lively and intimate and fun ;A;

small outline for ranks about the Port Mafia clan:

I kind of wanted the clan for the Port Mafia(not the clan name, I haven’t thought of a name yet) to have a more diverse system of ranks than the clan for the ADA. After some rambling to my friend with some help here is a outline of part of it!

First off we got Leaders, nothing new.

Instead of deputies, we kept the name Executives! It is a selected group of cats by the Leader. These cats are supposed to be cats that are trusted to keep the safety and importance of the clan in mind. A Leader does not exactly have to go to Executives to make decisions, but it is highly encouraged to get their voices and opinions. In the end, whatever decision made by the Leader must be handled by a Executive. Executives are also known as if a new Leader must be chosen, a Executive would have a higher chance than the average warrior.

Examples of cats with the Executive role would be: Chuuya, Kouyou

There are also Group Commanders! If there’s a job a Executive cannot handle at the moment(they can get quite busy as it is a large clan!)they can hand it off to a Group Commander. These are cats that have more authority than the average warrior but not more than a Executive. They can gather groups of cats together to fulfill whatever job given to them. Some Group Commanders like to have certain cats they trust to do a good job in the group they choose.

Examples of cats with the Group Commander role would be: Akutagawa, Hirotsu

And of course, the other basics such as Healers, Warriors, etc.

If you have any ideas for either the ADA or Port Mafia clan I would love to hear it but I do think the ranking system for this clan is 100% done.

That’s right. I’ll be talking about two characters today instead of just one. One of these characters is one some of you may already be familiar with.

Meet Percy and Wolfie

(Just to note: A small part of Wolfie’s story is him choosing his name. Wolfie is the nickname that he goes by until then so that’s why his name is in quotation marks.)

Percy

Story: Wannabe Lost Boy

Bio:

Percy has always wanted a friend. Unfortunately, Neverland isn’t the best place to find friendship. To make matters worse, Percy’s parents have a strong distrust of the Lost Boys, just about the only other kids Percy’s age. Needless to say, Percy was resigned to loneliness.

That was until they found a lost kid. A boy who actually wanted to be his friend. But as Percy starts to get roped into adventures with the Lost Boys, he learns a family secret that might paint a target on his back.

Wolfie

Pronouns: (He/Him)

Story: Wolf Freak

Bio:

Wolfie is an Anifigura, a being who can shift between human and animal form. Unfortunately, where he’s from, Anifigura aren’t well liked. So when Wolfie gets a chance to join a crew of Sky Pirates, he takes it. However, Wolfie’s past comes back to bite him both in the form of some former friends, and a very pissed off shark.

Author/Artist Commentary:

That’s right! For all three of you who remember and care: Wannabe Lost Boy is not dead. It’s just going under some serious rewrites.

The old foundation was more like a carpet draped over a massive plot hole. Surprise, Surprise, when I built a story on top of it, it collapses. So I’m laying down a proper foundation this time.

Regardless, Percy and Wolfie are characters I’ve had for around five years at this point and they are both very precious to me. I can’t wait to share their stories.

There were ideas poked about, especially with @rubymoon-snape. But. In a VF AU where Katie is a technopath raised on Olkarion and Pidge and Chip’s kid sister, VLD Keith also exists as VF Keith’s nephew. Half-Drule, also raised on Olkarion, and Katie’s childhood friend and sparring buddy. Well, thinking with that, VLD Keith and Daniel are a bit too much alike and would butt heads. Even more than Katie and Daniel do. Now Katie knows how her brother feels.
