💢 ANGER - what are some habits they have that will take some getting used to?

A good Question! I would say that Wasila some issues with personal space, being very in-your-face from time to time. If she considers you a friend she will occasionally “borrow” stuff from you, of course she’s not a complete loot fiend, and she will always try to make sure to return anything she’s borrowed

🍟 FRIES - do they order food often? or they prefer to cook their own food?

She do try to make do with making food herself, but she’s not very talented in the kitchen, far to often does her food come out of the oven under-cooked or burnt. Wasila isn't a picky eater (and has an iron stomach) and doesnt care too much.

🌙 MOON - what is your oc's greatest wish? how far are they willing to go for it?

hrmmm tough one.... I’d say that she is not wishing for endless riches nor does she want revenge on anyone in particular. She would like to own a nice cottage in the hills, enjoy feeling the sun during summer, hunt game in the forest (bit tricky when mostly blind, but this is a dream scenario) fish in a nearby river or lake... that’s how Wasila would like to spend her days. She’s working to get there, but she’s not someone who would abandon her morals for it.

The Tiefling Secret Satan 2023 closes, with 175 participants and 206 entries! Which is a huge record, given it had +50 participants than the TSS from last year.

Remember how last year I wanted to draw Leiden and instead I drew Rhylaonar because of all the confusion about pretty much every single thing there is?

WELL THIS YEAR I DECIDED TO ACTUALLY FUCKING DO IT. And because Leiden isn’t the only character in your name, I also put Sygdom in it, since... Why not? I actually really liked their story a lot. I didn’t want to put Vor in it though since 1. I already drew him a while ago and 2. he just is not in your name u.u

Some time ago I won a sketch at @leidensygdom picarto stream and I asked for him, Dyospiros, one of my OC.

Today I had a friend who wanted me to show her how to colour in digital, aiming for a comic style, so I used @leidensygdom lineart for this purpose. 

So the color is mine, the line is hers, an unexpected collab :)

Original Character October day 5: Sygdom, undead drow... paladin, surprisingly!

Hey, here’s Sygdom! The character whose name I ended up using online! The same guy! He’s been with me for a good while, so getting to draw him again is always fun times. He’s getting teethier and spookier with every drawing, which is -of course- a good thing. I can’t actually reveal too much about his role on my campaign currently: All they know is that now that they retrieved Vest’s staff, he’s coming after them.

Now, there’s the issue: Vest thinks Sygdom is his real dad and not his adoptive one. And he knows his real father killed him, but isn’t aware a certain someone messed up with his memories. Let’s say his actual dad has some interest in making Vest (And of course, Laestis) to end Sygdom’s life in his place. There’s some sure drama coming. The fact Sygdom has been undead for 1000 years and can’t even speak clearly isn’t gonna make this family meeting much easier, either.

Fourteenth picture for OC October (Original Character October): Sygdom!

Here, the ancestor to the characters from the past day! Undead drow, and my first drow related character. He tormented Leiden after helping him saving his brother’s life, in order to get his vengeance done, and finally rest after so many years as an undead.

Race: Drow (undead)

Year of creation: 2014

General description: Sygdom was struggling to keep his humanity after several hundred of years as an undead. Having failed to protect two of his children from Yu’Yden, he decided to make himself undead to make sure he could take vengeance on Yu’Yden, also undead. His way of revenge implied using his own bloodline for it, though, which they considered a curse.

Here comes the first edition of the Summer Tiefling Secret Satan 2021! It's a tiefling themed art exchange, and it's done as a counterpart to the drow-themed one I make in Winter (which already had four editions, with 50 participants in the last one!) So, here's the rules!

✨What is a Secret Satan?

Rebranded Secret Santa. It consists on a group of people who exchange gifts secretly. On the day the inscriptions close, I run a generator that gives everyone the name of the person they must draw for. In this case, the gifts are drawings of tieflings!

✨How will I randomize it?

I’ll be using one webpage that will randomize the list of participants and send everyone the name of the person they must draw for, without anybody knowing (including me). I’ve used the same webpage other years, and (while it is in Spanish) it works really well, as it allows me to re-send mails if something went wrong!

✨What is the process?

The inscriptions will be open from 1 of June to 7 of June. I note everyone who joins in a spreadsheet which you’ll be able to check. That spreadsheet also includes the character references and social media links from each participant. After that the mails get sent (on 8 of June), and I will ask everyone if they got it. After that, we’ll have time until 7 of July to draw the gift. Tag it as #tieflingsecretsatan2021 so I can see it, or PM it to me! Or just @’ me, if needed.

✨How will we know what to draw?

Each participant will need to give me a reference pic of their characters and the name of such character through PM/DM. You can also send it to me in Discord (I’m Sygdom #9379).  I will post the link on the spreadsheet, so their Secret Satan can easily access it. I’d recommend giving 2 or 3 options so there’s more of a choice for your Secret Satan to draw. The only exception to this would be if someone only has one tiefling OC.

✨What are the requirements?

To have a tiefling character and draw! You’ll need to be able to provide a picture that can serve as a reference for your character. Text descriptions aren’t valid. And the sent drawings should be finished pictures, not sketches! (Fully colored). I’d recommend to keep it at one character per picture, but if someone feels like drawing two (if they have two submitted characters) that would also be ok!

The pictures should be posted on 7 of July, not before. If someone has an issue posting it said day, I’d recommend telling me beforehand and submitting it before. If someone doesn’t do their picture, they will be banned from future Secret Satans. (If someone is left without a picture, I will be their Surrogate Satan, and will make the picture for them instead). Finally, keep all references and gifts SFW!

✨What is a tiefling?

Tieflings are a playable race in Dungeons and Dragons. I'm sure you've seen them by now: They've usually got a demonic appareance to them. If you don't play DnD but have a character that could (visually) pass as a tiefling, we can talk it out~

✨How do I join?

To join, just send me a Private Message on tumblr, twitter, Instagram or Discord. Reblogs and reshares are greatly appreciated! You will need to give me your mail (even if it’s a temporary one if you don’t feel comfortable giving your main mail, I will tell you when to check it), and 1, 2 or 3 character references (as a link) + their name to put in the spreadsheet. That’s it!

✨Across social media

While the Drow Secret Satan started on tumblr, nowadays I use Twitter and Instagram too. I’ll do my best to ensure everyone has a way of communicating to deliver the gift. The spreadsheet will include people’s social media links.

And that's about it! It's my first time organizing this tiefling-themed one, but it was about time. The other ones I've done have worked super well, so I'm really excited to bring this one in!!

Here comes Secret Satan 2020! A drow/dark elf themed art exchange! We're on the fourth edition already. It's worked really well other years (last time we had 27 participants, and everyone delivered their pic!), so I'm most proud to bring it again. So, here's the rules, as other years:

✨What is a Secret Satan?

To make it as non-exclusive as possible, we’ll have a rather wide definition of what is a drow. Both drow and half drow count in, and they don't need to be restricted to D&D, as there's plenty of settings with dark elf equivalents (which includes dunmer, duskwights, etc). This also includes dark elves from original settings, ofc!

No talk to him he angy- I mean, here's a break-sketch for OC-october! I may do these to chill a bit between bigger pics, because I'm honestly getting a bit burned out. But well, an angry Vest is still very much an OC, so it counts- right? The funny thing here is, uh, he does resemble a lot his adoptive dad (Sygdom), specially in the non-colored version. Sadly he hasn't ever looked that intimidating in the campaign before, but I'm pretty sure he'll eventually have the opportunity to get REAL angy-

Every now and then, Syg draws her namesake -this rotten man, Sygdom-, as a treat- Kinda happened while doing loose sketches. Liked one too much, and now it’s a finished piece. Sygdom is father to Vest and ancestor to other ocs of mine, who he’s bothered pretty often. Since he’s an undead drow an all, of course!
