7 (because modern setting): i think he'd be doing the same machine-oriented villainry as in his natural setting--building siege weapons and suchlike*--but without the play-acting hero/villain ecosystem to slot into, he might actually be somewhat more dangerous. also i can see him as a half-elf. no particular reason, just vibes

I've been obsessing over the system possession au by @artsarasp here and idk if anyone's done this idea yet but I figured the peak lords wouldn't be too thrilled to hear sqq's system asking after the protagonist they've been trying to keep away from it the whole time.

So a lot of Sy transmigrates into svsss as a child aus tend to have him picked up by sj via random cabbage patch baby plot or sy tends to look incredibly similar to sj and reluctantly adopted.

But it's got me thinking of the reverse, where sy is a random yqy cabbage patch child or looks oddly like yqy.

In both cases I think sj loses his gotdam Mind bc first of all qi-ge is His no matter how estranged they are, and secondly someone needs to protect this mini yqy bc he's clearly inherited his recklessness and being too kind and he's going to get walked all over!!

But I think in the case of cabbage patch sy, sj's jealousy supersedes any inherent protectiveness over yqy shaped things. The way he'd overcome this is only by convincing himself that anything owned by yqy is by rights also His, and nothing of his is going to be so blatantly weak.

Versus a child sy who shows up looking suspiciously like yqy and triggers sj's jealousy in other ways bc His Qi-ge went and had a bastard spawn with some woman and won't even own up to it? Once again lying to sj's face. He'd overcome this by seeing another abandoned orphan not even wanted by his own father like himself but without the maternal love that lbh got, therefore making sy more tolerable in his eyes and making him take him under his wing since yqy clearly won't.

Either way, rip sy being a child of divorce, he and sqh can bond over it, even if sy refuses to acknowledge the situation lmao

Honestly Adeline and her whole deal is the foundation for Lacey, Adeline was just more brainwashed into her “always be kind and giving” philosophy and Lacey adopted it herself. Also may give Lacey a black swan character arc. Maybe a lil baby one. (im turning her into a literal monster 🫶)

Do you like Amaimon's past vessel in terms of design (the one that was "worn" when being subjugated by Shemihaza)?

Dude I thought I answered this Ages ago omfg sorry about that XD

I have A Lot of thoughts about the previous bodies of the demon kings but tldr I actually love Amaimon's previous form just bc it gave us a lot of cool world building things answered and confirmed a few head canons of mine lol

I especially like it bc we got to see Amaimon as an ancient deity when he had human worshippers. Though I think it's canon that the kings all still have active worshippers in the present, which is really fun to play with in fics lol

I still tend to head canon that the kings can shapeshift between genders in their current hosts too bc we already see them change shape with demonic features and eyes and tails so organs shouldn't be that difficult for them lol

But the design of Amaimon's past host itself was pretty cool, I love the outfit Kato drew and obviously the more demonic and destructive Amaimon is the happier I am XD
