Hello! I am absolutely in love with Macbeth (2005) and have watched it about 5times this past week! I was wondering if you have any song suggestions that remind you of it and also! My favourite other production of Macbeth is the 2013 one at the globe theatre that has Joesph Millson (who plays billy banquo in the Chef one) in as Macbeth and Billy Boyd! (pippin from the hobbit as banquo) It would be pretty awesome to see a crossover of those two versions of Macbeth! I can’t imagine what Billy would feel like seeing himself as Macbeth!!

niku’s gojo in general is one of my favorites ever ever ever but i’m specifically adding a link to bten because . bten lives in my brain <3 and i adore both bten!reader & bten!gojo more than anything….. ANYWAY . niku’s gojo is my favorite for many reasons but above all else he just…. feels so real to me . sometimes i have to remind myself that i’m reading a fic and not canon content bc her gojo just FEELS like gojo . it’s a little scary. i read bten and heard kaiji tang’s voice in my ear 😭 i think it’s sooo difficult to capture the balance that canon!gojo has, but niku does it so effortlessly!!! he’s so charming and guarded and annoying and kind beneath it all and i’m just….. in love with him . that’s all. i do want to strangle him just a tiny bit but mostly i want to kiss him.

sel’s col!gojo…. my baby my husband the loml. i adoreeeee sel’s take on gojo and the way he views/approaches love ….. and just like niku her gojo feels so real and so grounded!!!! sel has a way of rounding out her characters and making them feel so human, which i. adore. and it works so well with gojo. col!gojo is canon to me idc. he’s so relatable to me and following his story with col!reader was just so touching 🥹🥹 i . cried . every time he blushed or got flustered i fell to my knees . flustered gojo is really hard to get right i think??? bc it’s just….. such a rare mood from him. but it feels so perfect in her fics. col!gojo reminds me of a plant in the softest, most loving way and i just want him to grow and embrace the sun !!!!!!!! i want him to be happy….

another general pick; alexis’s gojo!!!!!! (link goes straight to my personal fav which is a very bold statement to make but i think abt this fic constantly)…. this is another gojo that just feels. so canon to me somehow???? every time i read her gojo fics i’m just like yeah…. that’s gojo satoru. that’s the gojo satoru that i love and adore. it always reminds me of WHY i love him sm and it’s just….. such a wonderful feeling yk??? alexis rlly captures what i perceive as the core of his character!!!!! i can’t tell you what it is exactly but i feel that so strongly!!!!! he’s my baby and i love him so so bad. he makes me so happy and he feels so human:((((( i just love him…. him and his self-destructive little habits….. also special shoutout to idol!gojo bc he’s just soo. yeah.

then we have io’s flower shop!satoru <333 the fic isn’t out as of rn, but i added a link to a snippet that i’m still swooning over….. i ADORE this concept and it’s so perfect for io’s gorgeous and flowery writing!!!! he was made for her fr…… i just really love the idea of a soft, gentle, smitten satoru 🥺 and him being a flower boy rlly scratches an itch in my brain because of his canon ties to flowers!!! the fact that he kind of views other people as flowers. or at least compared them to flowers in ch. 236….. i just feel like this concept is . genius. nature loves satoru and he loves it back . he’s a nurturing soul at his core imo and that’s not something i see people explore super often, but this au captures it perfectly <33

did you ever make a post about pete not liking tankhun ? i know you mentioned it a few times in your tags but i don't remember seeing a post. (i share your opin ions.)

I definitely toyed with the idea of meta or a gifset but I didn't ever make a full post! I love unrequited love and I ESPECIALLY love the extremely rare platonic version which Tankhun and Pete absolutely nail in my opinion!

There are loads of moments where Pete's smile drops around Tankhun very quickly, or he insults Tankhun behind his back. Instead of laughing things off like Arm and Pol, he almost has a wincing fear-response to Tankhun, which we don't really see at all from the other bodyguards.

I think that Tankhun likes to think of himself as being close friends with his bodyguards, and he does genuinely show a lot of open affection for Pete and eventually concern for his safety. But I think ultimately for Pete, Tankhun is just a part of Pete's job, and over time resentment has built up until he thinks of Tankhun as one of the *worst* parts of it. I definitely don't think he resents Tankhun enough to hurt or endanger him, but that's about as far as it goes, there's certainly very little love there.

Something about that dynamic is just particularly brilliant, especially when combined with Pete's eventual defection from Tankhun's side to Vegas'. He chooses a man who has beaten and tortured him over a man who showers him in affection and throws parties on his return.

I utterly adore Tankhun but I think as a character that's grown up in a gilded cage, he doesn't really understand that what Pete needs is a sense of his own autonomy rather than being dragged to "fun" "lets cheer up Pete" parties that Tankhun has demanded on his behalf. At least with Vegas he *chose* to go back, he handed Vegas the ropes, let him lock him back up again. Even before he develops feelings for Vegas, Pete has clearly felt like a subhuman pet for Tankhun and the main family for a long, long time and I think ironically Vegas acknowledging Pete's humanity is the tipping point for him.

I think even without their nascent romantic love as a factor, Pete would always choose Vegas. Because despite the threat of suffering, he offers a sense of freedom that Tankhun's gilded cage does not. It all makes for an incredibly interesting betrayal, and makes Pete choosing Vegas over Tankhun all the more pointed. By choosing to be Vegas' pet, he chooses to be human.

for the p3 actor au i think these could be some fun thoughts. mostly blooper/cut-content oriented because i'm that kind of person:

elizabeth's actress is one of those people who literally lives their role (nearly identical to it), even when the cameras aren't rolling. i love thinking about SEES hanging out and they're like "you know we aren't filming, right?" (but they appreciate her quirky nature)

minato's actor sometimes brings his switch to set and may play it during his break times. i like to think that at some point his headphones accidentally unplug while he's playing and then whatever scene going on needs to be refilmed because there was a "WOOMY" noise in the background.

i think that aigis and ryoji's actors should be best friends, actually. as a treat. this is self-indulgent of me, really. unfortunately i can't elaborate.

re: aigis's costume design, i think that there won't be much green-screening needed (since cosplayers have managed to make the design before! which is really impressive!). compared to everyone else though, i think she'd have the longest make-up routine/prep-time... sorry to aigis's actress 😔

pharos would be played by a child actor and i think he should be friend's with ken's actor. i don't know how that would work but ken should have some more people his age on set tbh 🤧

ryoji's actor definitely got his scarf snagged on something during filming... maybe the escalator at port island station...? in a similar vein, i would not be surprised if chidori's headband or aigis's shoulder part fell off mid-filming and they had to take a temporary break afterwards.

on the show's social media, for halloween, the cast took a special featherman-inspired photo! but also i think it'd be cute if the actors went to a haunted house together and filmed their interactions.... not that it'd be much scarier than tartarus, LOL. i can see yukari just being fed up with junpei's attempt to make the visit even scarier than it needs to be.

i think if anything about the show/set would be leaked online... it would be through junpei's instagram live or something like that 😔 i am very sorry about this but also i think that junpei would be very happy and proud of the cast's work. he'd just be so happy and be like "HEY GUYS check out what the director sent-" and all the comments is everyone else telling him "NO"

i think shinjiro, fuuka, and hamuko would occasionally cook group meals for the set! nothing beats a good ol' home-made meal! 🥺 and really, i think shinjiro would make nice gestures and just help the others on cast a lot, even after october 4th is filmed.

also something that has vaguely crossed my mind: "the cast of persona 3 reads your tweets / posts." specifically akihiko and mitsuru... i just think that they'd both be fun yknow 🥴

also in general i think it's cute whenever there's cast interviews or "see how well the cast members know each other" (and those kind of things..?). other than the full-cast, i think i can see there being group interviews with the senpai trio™ (mitsuru, akihiko, shinjiro), ryominaigis + hamuko, the second years (fuuka + junpei + yukari), etc. etc. any grouping could make for some fun questions!

and lastly.. obligatory ryomina because this is me we're talking about... ryoji has absolutely gone off script during some scenes. i could see him either referencing that one evangelion thing (i was born to meet you) or just turning it into a confession scene... LMAO.

Who is Myrkva 👀

HONESTLY I need to do more character development for him 😭 bc the poor guy is still a bit of a mystery to me, but I know this much:

Myrkva is a Jotanor (an orc)

He's a hunter/mercenary (most mercenaries in this world do pretty typical stuff, but HUNTERS are specifically hired to capture or kill monsters)

Myrkva leans into whichever kind of job comes his way mostly, but he'll prioritize based on his own sense of judgement

He's very neutral and morally grey, but has some sense of "I'm strong so I protect the weak"

He's actually quite young but life has just really knocked him around and given him a very rough and weathered appearance, making him look older than he is (I'm too lazy atm to look up the age charts I made up for the different races, but he's the Jotanor equivalent of a 25-26 year old)

Some of his injuries and scars are monster hunting related, and some of them are abuse related

obviously you love ABAP so i don't wanna be a hater but i'd like to share my take in a normal way. here goes: if ABAP was released by any random band i would be like, these songs fucking rip ass, love this album. because they do. they rip ass. but from FOB, most ABAP songs (not all!!!) are lyrically... not up to par. imo! and i'm not a SRAR enthusiast either so it's not like it was a letdown after that album. PAX AM and MANIA r more 2 my taste for being kinda weird in very different ways

You and Suguru are childhood friends, you two grew up together in the same village. Your mom and his are very good friends so inevitably you two spend a lot of time together too.

 You had a happy childhood, you used to have an older sister but unfortunately she lost her life in an accident that happened many years before you were born. It was very unfortunate but your parents moved on with their life, years later you were born

One day a mysterious person comes to the village, he says that he´s a sorcerer and that those “monsters” that you and suguru can see are curses. This person decides to talk to your parents and suguru's parents to explain the situation and tell them that the best thing for both of you would be to attend Tokyo Jujutsu High.

Your parents don't know what to do, they're afraid that something bad will happen to you, they don't want to lose another child but Suguru promises them that he will take care of you. Your parents still feel anxious but decide to trust him, after all suguru has always been taking care of you, he´s a responsible and trustworthy boy.

Time passes and the day to leave that village in the middle of nowhere arrives, you´re packing your things but can't find the camera that Suguru gave you for Christmas, you remember that you left it in the place where you and suguru go to stargazing.

 you go to the place and when you arrive you realize that there´s a girl there holding your camera, her face is familiar and with a warm smile she greets you and returns your camera. You thank her and leave, “she was a very pretty girl” you think, “I wonder what happened to her, those stitches on her forehead looked painful” and with that last thought you and suguru leave the village and head to Tokyo.

You´re part of the Zenin clan, you have been blessed with the Ten Shadows Technique and Toji is your big brother. Toji knows that like him, you´re also a victim of your family's excessive expectations so he does everything possible to give you a normal childhood.

And that includes taking you to Shibuya where you can go to cute cafes to eat desserts and where you end up meeting a boy your age with white hair and blue eyes who seems to like desserts as much as you do and with whom you can talk about your new hyperfixation of the moment, digimon.

Things are going well between you and your new friend, until Toji tells you that you shouldn't talk to that kid again, that “kid” is Satoru Gojo the heir of the gojo clan who was blessed with the rikugan. You know better than anyone how complicated the relation between the Gojo clan and Zenin clan is, so with great sadness you decide not to talk to Satoru again.

Satoru understands that you and your brother are in a complicated situation and he doesn´t want to complicate your life further. So he decided to respect your decision not to see each other again. You gave Satoru a keychain of his favorite digimon and a kiss, you promised him that when you two entered Jujutsu High you would look for him.

Three years passed and eventually Toji left the Zenin clan and to the surprise of everyone in the clan, you decided to leave with him. You and Satoru met again a couple years later in Jujutsu High.

Yaga feels bad for you, you're just a kid and you don't understand anything of what's going on, so he asks the higher-ups to allow you to attend Jujutsu High. The higher-ups agrees on the condition that Yaga becomes your teacher and keeps an eye on you.

You don't know what to think, you had lived a normal life but when your cursed technique manifested , memories that were not there before came to the surface. None of what happens seems real to you, you miss your parents, your real parents.

The only thing that is clear to you is that you´re now a jjk character. The year 2005 has just begun and you have very little time to think of a plan because otherwise many people will die and many bad things will happen.

- Having your memories back is a blessing and a curse at the same time, the stress of knowing that many people will die unless you do something it´s awful

I might be mixing you up with someone else, but I feel like this is the second time the Lupin gang have kidnapped Yata. Will we ever get context? And what does Zenigata think of this?

i cant remember if i posted more here but yes i will tell u context! tldr: lupin just wanted to kidnap him to see what happens. he was wondering if it could come in handy for a heist in the future. like, would zenigata drop everything to look for yata? is it easy to impersonate yata? could yata escape if he was captured? lupin wanted to figure out those logistics for future reference since yata is a wildcard as a newer character.

zenigata would not notice that yata's gone. zenigata is used to working by himself, spending time alone, and talking outloud to himself about the most recent lupin case. zenigata would be so focused on potential lupin leads that he wouldnt even look up from his papers (or he'd be distracted on a phone call, or driving somewhere, or whatever).

lupin would kidnap yata and take him to a hideout very easily with no problems at all. and yata hates this of course but he can't do much, since he's defenseless and tied to a chair. lupin starts putting on a yata disguise to take his place, but he stops before putting on the mask because it occurs to him that they rarely have an opportunity to talk to each other. lupin decides it would be much more informative and entertaining to talk to yata about whatever he wants, so he derails his original plans to get to know yata better. yata hates this, but it's really hard to stay completely silent and act uninterested after a few hours.

yata convinces himself that he's just doing this to stall for zenigata to find him. they talk about all sorts of stuff (such as scars, shown in my drawing) and after a day-ish lupin drops yata off at work as if nothing ever happened. yata tells zenigata that he was kidnapped by lupin and zenigata immediately asks him a billion questions about what happened, less because hes worried about yata and more that he wants information about the hideout + lupin's current plans.
