ok so emus chilling at home when her dad comes home from work. he noticed emu’s sticky notes with plans for pxl and decides to give her her grandpas old planning notebook. it has some ideas of his to renovate and old villa to be more child friendly. emus super happy to get it bc you know. it’s her grandpas!!

she goes upstairs to read it when her phone flashes, sending her to sekai. in sekai, she finds a fragment of feelings that transports her to a fragment sekai: an old villa.

someone lives in the villa.

someone who’s voice she recognizes.

her grandpa.

he’s got all his memories. all his ideas. all his whimsy. all his love.

he challenges emu to try and create her own ideas for the villa, giving her a little figure set to help visualize things. she tries her best to make her plans both fun and feasible. her grandpa notices her look of concern and tells her that it’s ok: her ideas are incredible, and as long as she shares them, those around her will help her make them come true. she thinks of tsukasa, of nene, of rui, and smiles.

she goes to tell her grandpa her next idea, but she’s forced out of the sekai.

she’s lost him again.

meiko finds her and comforts her. it wasn’t a dream, but it wasn’t quite real either. emu tried her hardest not to break down.

but still, she has her grandpas notebook, his love, and his advice. with that, she smiles.

Imagine the Todorokis & their significant others having family time by looking through photo albums or sharing the old grainy pictures they managed to get on their phone one way or another. The mood drops when the pictures to start to get more spaced out and then stop completely. In an attempt to fix it, someone tries to bring Hawks into it and get him to show his baby pictures. There's a moment of silence as he doesn't move and just gives a sad smile instead, because he has nothing to offer. He doesn't need to go looking or search his phone or look at social media because he knows there is none. The first picture he has was from his training documentation, in a medical gown and blindfolded. None of the training pictures on file that follow are any better.
