when I ordered the cutest lil duck cup for my desk, I had no idea @alunimoon would doodle me a personal Danger Duck and I LOVE HIM. so stabby: can practically hear him quacking "do you wanna get cut?!" the cup finish is satiny and the quality is fantastic. the shape of his body is satisfying just to hold but also looks great full of knitting needles 😊

at the intersection of art and geology/chemistry is @muddypyro : I am so fascinated by the various glaze experiments and beautiful results! the cups are either *perfectly* round and friend-shaped, or super-interestingly dimpled and symmetrically pinched and as much fun to hold and turn over in the hand as to gaze upon.

Like most people, Taejin has his set of guilty pleasures. One that immediately came to me is that he loves trash tv. I mean like the over-produced melodramatic dramas that come on in the dead of night. He LOVES that shit💀💀💀

Tbh, I can make a whole list of hygiene Headcanons for this man just cuz I know he smells good, but Imma keep it short🥴:

Taejin is a FIRM believer in the power that good grooming holds. He takes extra extra care of his hair, using high-quality (and prolly overpriced) products. And he always makes it to his regularly scheduled hair appointments to keep the color on point.

I’m pretty sure he’s a bottle blonde, but he's so proud of that so there’s no point in making jokes about it.

Buuuut if you really wanna get on his nerves, just pretend like you can see his roots. That would drive him up a wall😵

For someone who lives in South Korea, Taejin is not a huge fan of foods that have an ass load of garlic in them. He knows that his diet has an impact on his body odor so he has to limit his garlic intake.

Taejin runs hot (I mean just look at him🥵)

Ya’ll, when I tell you that  Jihan is sick of people asking about his eyes - I mean he is SICK of it.

Like 2 or 3 questions about his eyes are manageable, but after the 3rd time, he’s ready to go like the convo gets cut short.

This man is so unaware of how jarring his accent and dialect are. Like, if it's ever brought up when he’s in Seoul, he’ll be so confused “II’m speaking so normally tho💀” (As a Southerner, this is my life)

Despite what his hair looks like, Jihan doesn’t actually style his hair much if not at all. He has a perfect Shake-N-Go growing from his scalp (Lucky bastard lolol)

Oh and the same thing with his eyebrows (Tbh, none of these men do their eyebrows prolly)

He’s a sucker for soup. Soup of all kinds, but meaty soups with light broths are what does him in for real. Example: Dak Gomtang 

I feel like even though he’s young, Jihan watches the news (and by extension all TV) like an old man. I mean this exact picture *dis* 

I think he gets it from Jibeom, who gets it from Jichang, who prolly got it from Bakgu. They all do it and none of them acknowledge it🤣

My goodness, that last post with the chain and their reaction to the father of readers firstborn child. *Chefs kiss* . I also loved the part about it possibly being Hyrule cause of his fairy-ness (I can just picture a little kid that can also turn into a Fae 🧚 like his dad (I just might have a soft spot for ✨Hyrule✨-he needs more love ❤️💕). Sorry Hyrule- get ready for war against the chain (especially Wild/Sage and his fairy tonic). I LOVE IT. OOOHH my heart!

But also… imagine the reader sharing qualities with the chain, like having brown hair like Hyrule, blonde hair like the others, or even similar eye colors to the others. If the kid is a mini reader, just imagine the amount of conflict the chain would feel. I mean, they love that the child is a mini reader, but doubt on whose the father is definitely there (like if reader is the same dirty blonde as Twilight…is he the dad or did kiddo take after mom? Who knows how Hylian genetics works?). Does it cause more fights or do they begrudgingly accept it. Like one kiddo with a bunch of dads? I just can’t tell.

so uhm these are my designs for Finny and Gene. I drew these back when I started reading A Separate Peace in my high-school sophomore year. They’re pretty old drawings. At the time, I only drew these just to have some faces to put a name on (to help me visualize easier idk)

Well fast forward, my class finished reading ASP and I have been an ASP addict ever since.

okay erm thought process of these designs:

Finny-

i tried to make him as book accurate at possible but ngl i actually i thought he was a red head before i looked up what he actually looked like. I genuinely wouldve believed he was a red head if i didnt looked it up (yes im referring to the ppl propagating redhead finny)

i gave him very sharp features and a somewhat messy hairstyle to symbolize his wild nature but also neat enough to get him by in school.

His shirt usually untucked or hastily put on. Most times he has his coat off or unbuttoned

he has some freckles and moles too YAY

Gene-

made him the most basic looking guy with the most basic features: black hair and brown eyes (okay ik his hair looks blue and u can barely see his brown eyed but i was limiting myself on colors GSSSYSHDHHSHA )

ofc i HAD to make him the complete opposite of Finny. His features are more squarish and rounder. because he always does random 90° angles out of nowhere

his hair is more neat and put together compared to Finny’s. It’s very structured to be square shaped. i like to think he uses a little bit of gel but it’s not a tight slickback. he lets his hair go loose bc he wants to follow Finny’s footsteps and be wild and free too 🤩🤩 yet he can’t help but follow the standard of having a neat slick hair and ofc follow school dresscode 🤷‍♀️

his fit is also more put together. he always makes sure his tie is neat and his coat is buttoned up most times

i gave him a mole :)

this was a fun one to make cuz he literally never describes himself in the book💀💀 i find that really interesting tho. perhaps it was on purpose so readers can relate to Gene more by emotion and not feel distanced by physical features

(yea i obviously put in a lot more thought into Gene’s design than Finny’s)

(i still love them both tho)

FUN FACTS YES THERE’S MORE:

honestly thought Finny was a latino and/or hispanic cuz of his tan skin. (im well aware white ppl can look tan and not be a hispanic but also hispanics and latinx could also look pale white i was lowkey a little ignorant back then 💀.) idk maybe he could have some hispanic blood 🤷‍♀️

do not mind the messiness and low quality, i did this in the dead of night on a note-taking app called Notability

that last note may sound absolutely unrelated BUT WAIT! I actually have a whole stock of ASP Notability doodles! More to come!! maybe…

I got that vibe for a split second because of all the mentions of dreams, but then upon my 2nd listen I was like nah actually this is about a relationship that was hella toxic. Good thing they broke up bc it sounds like that ex just played games with him.

He couldn’t keep a grip on his manipulative ex (“wanna lock you up in my sight, but you run away like a fish”- nj wants a committed relationship but his ex is too busy playing mind games/ being fwb/ partying/ being deceitful, etc). He doesn’t want to wake up from sleep aka his rose colored glasses as he chooses to ignore all of these red flags.

The only reason he stayed was because the sex was amazing, which good for him. Get that good good. He needed a stress reliever but sounds like his ex gave him even more stress. (“I get a feeling sometimes that I can’t get close enough to you. I feel it most in the nighttime even though that’s when I’m closest to you”- even with the sex, which is supposed to be the most intimate and vulnerable act between two people, he feels like there are barriers and walls up between them. That’s how he knew that that wasn’t his true love. Remember in my twin flame post where I mentioned his romantic astrological placements? Sex is CRUCIAL to him- he bares his soul, so he was DEVASTATED when it wasn’t reciprocated. He mentions that in the lyrics of Change pt 2 where he says “you can’t love someone like I do. That’s all i can say to you.”

I reallyyyy hope him and his twin flame find each other. Some twins don’t find each other until they are in their old age after both have completed the intense physical/mental/emotional/mental healing work that is necessary to wipe away generations of societal/ancestral/familial/past life trauma and karma.

This is his 3rd mixtape/album where he has had an ENTIRE SONG DEDICATED TO FEELING LONELY. He yearns for his true love so much 😭😭😭 Like he has his friends, members, and family but I understand the hollowness in your heart of wanting to find YOUR forever person. Before I began my TF journey, I could never understand why I could never be in love with any of my partners, only lust or only liking certain aspects of the person, never loving the person entirely and unconditionally. It’s because they weren’t MY TRUE LOVE. Namjoon’s SOUL is looking for that other SOUL that sings his same song and that loves him unconditionally, as he will in return. I just don’t think his head realizes that yet, so he continues to be in these bad relationships as he searches for these qualities.

I think he maybe even unconsciously places idealized qualities that he wants his partners to have onto them, like a creating a mask, making him disappointed when they can’t achieve these qualities they don’t have. (Sound familiar? That’s what a lot of fans do in these parasocial relationships where they say that BTS are the LOML and then absolutely devastated when they discover their idol is dating or koreaboos when they date an Asian person because oPpA speaks Korean just like JungKook, the same attribute as the loml has 🤩)

I sincerely hope Namjoon finds his true love, and soon. He deserves a happy life full of domestic bliss and children, should he wish to have them.

So let's say the mission required a group of people to easily blend in. Any less than 3 and the other partygoers would get suspicious. And suspicion draws in the suspect of the big bad:

Ash Croc. I mean it's understandable really with a name like "Ass-crack" it's no wonder the man turned to a life of crime, though you did briefly wonder- why didn't he just change it????

Moving on, he took up a new hobby. Which happened to be human experimentation. Every week or two Ash Croc would hire locals a hefty amount to befriend other locals of the area and then send them an invitation to his so-called "party".

Whether or not they accepted didn't change the outcome. They either came along willingly or with some light convincing.

For some reason this invitation always finds itself wormed in groups of friends no less than 3. Which is why you- Myles-, my dear friend, were chosen.

The mission is an overall success and you end up catching the eye of not one but two expert hitmen.

Moving on.

I like to imagine they have a sort of sibling rivalry like, "I spent more time with Myles today than you did." Or "I got Myles a better birthday gift than you." Stuff like that.

Smooching contests once you're together. Arguments on who is the better kisser and such.

Diana and you naturally make bets. It's very fun. Who confesses to you first? Lucas. Who has more relationship experience? Still Lucas. Now you owe a shit ton of money to the British handler.

Strike me down if I'm wrong but 47 and Lucas definitely play games to settle on who has you for the day ESPECIALLY if it's a special event like your birthday.

I have a feeling you would be the judge to prevent any cheating or foulplay on either hitmen's side. This doesn't stop them from trying to sneakily gain the upper hand however.

As for birthday gifts they definitely try to up one another with how expensive, good quality, and lavish they are. You mention one time that you like the color green?

Boom. full wardrobe of that.

They're like that one part of the fandom where if a character mentions something once they make it out to be like it's a staple part of their life the character can't live without.

After Lucas nearly fucking dies I feel like 47 would become subconsciously a bit more overprotective of his brother.

And Lucas?

He uses that fact to gain leverage at times, "It's half past noon It's my turn to spend time with Myles." "I could've died out in that forest and never seen any of you ever again." Hesitantly 47 backs off mentally reminding himself to insert himself into the situation more carefully next time.

Honestly I don't think that's what Lucas would say but hey, it's something along those lines, probably with more comedic effect too!

All and all very wholesome up until you accidentally get hurt on a mission and they force you to retire early.

You meet up with him at one of the few clubs outside of 79’s that is clone friendly.  One with what he considers a better dance floor and better music. The drinks tended to be better quality.  Not that he would know.  You’d never seen him drink anything other than water and electrolyte drinks.

You can feel the music in your stomach as you make your way to the bar.  The dance floor awash with brightly colored lights and fog.

Getting the one cocktail you indulge in each time you meet up with him,  you wait for him to surface out of the crowd on the dance floor. You could see his lime green hair bobbing in and out of sight somewhere near the center. One of the bartenders, Tarya, knew you well enough to bring a glass of water over with your cocktail.

“You should tell him,” she said, setting the drinks down in front of you.

“Tell him what?” You ask.

Tarya rolled her eyes, “Don’t play stupid, it’s obvious you have it bad,”

“I’m not about to ruin a great friendship because of a silly crush,” you answer.

“It is not a crush,” Tarya said, slapping a shot of whiskey down next to your cocktail. “And it isn’t one sided.  Now drink that and tell that sweet boy you love him,”

“Tarya, he flirts with everyone,” you sigh, but not snubbing a free shot you drink it and chase it with your cocktail.

She shook her head, “It’s not the same,”

Tarya went about serving the customers around you while you drink. You miss the lull in the music and he is behind you, hand on one shoulder while he leaned close to you and says, “Hello gorgeous!” making your heart skip in your chest. He takes the glass of water, raising it to Tarya he says, “Thanks beautiful!” and downs it.

“Behave yourself!” Tarya calls back.

“Never!” he says with a wink. He squeezes your shoulder and says, “Come on!” 

Your heart is still speeding when he takes your hand and starts leading you through the crowd on the dance floor as he always did.

Usually you fall into the rhythm quickly, the bass almost feeling like your own heartbeat, and it’s almost meditative. But tonight that was not the case.  You don’t know if it was the extra alcohol you usually didn’t consume or what Tarya had said.  Maybe you are just noticing more how badly you wished to kiss him, the tattoos down his arms you wished to trace with your fingers, his energy that you wished you could just wrap yourself in. 

Going through the motions, you don’t think you are looking at him any more often than you usually did, but you catch him looking at you several times.

Face heating as your mind starts automatically looking for escapes. Another drink? The ‘freshers? Fresh air? That last you really could use. You close your eyes and try to focus on the music, the dance moves you had learned from him, the flash of lights through your closed eyelids.

The weight of his gaze on you, whether it is or not.  You can’t relax into the music properly, you know he can tell. About to open your eyes and excuse yourself to the freshers, you feel his hands on your waist. Freezing, your eyes fly open with a small gasp to be looking directly into his. He’s pulling you closer to him, when you are close one hand moves to cradle your cheek and he leans in and gives you a very gentle kiss.

Thrill is pulling back, searching your expression, but you already have your arms wound around the back of his neck and are pulling him back into another kiss.

The rest of the night, he pulls you close to dance with you close to him or lets go of you to absolutely show off.  His smile is bright and joyous,   The two of you close down the club, like you always do.  Tarya gave you an “I told you so” look on your way out.

As the two of you take to the rooftops he says, “Come on, Love,” making shivers of joy run down your spine as he leads the way.

i was a little torn with the color palette but then i settled for complementary gold/violet and ofc, good old grey (aaaalmost black).

i always envisioned TS!MC to be this regal-looking warrior with a billowing cloak, gold breastplates, pauldrons, yadayadayada- but of course! this again is only how i personally view her for i need refs when i draw my mcs in comics lol
