No SUUUPER fancy temples but a great talk by President Nelson, and 15 great new temples :D!!

Great session and General Conference in general guys :), a BUNCH of great talks. We made it!!

the chapter where misty punishes red for being a misogynist is good in theory but man they really rushed the ending. i get these are manga chapters but after they make up they just go “ok we need to go to the next location” in one page

its not a bad chapter, like its very clear red is in the wrong and he got what was coming to him and he’s improved after this (it kinda reminds me of the one sokka episode from atla) and they dont really even make it feel like a psa which is often a risk with these stories (its more about how he dismisses misty and rubs it in how she lost at mt moon) but the ending couldve used more work idk

I listened to the full Ulysses dies at dawn soundtrack for the first time and it was amazing.

I was also listening to it while our teacher let us listen to music and study for a math thing so that might’ve shifted my perspective on the whole thing.

But my favorite character was Oedipus, I really like his song. Also Heracles’s song is pretty good, I liked Orpheus’s like fluttering vocals.

Uh, but big things are coming up. I just need the motivation to write in Percy PoV so for the time being there will probably be like. More random stuff lol-?

SUPRISE!

I didn't do the work i needed to do yet tonight BUT

I did just finish a draft of an angsty ~5k mostly-internal-george-narrative gatty-centric fic WHICH MEANS

i'm going to do some actual work and then (after like, maybe a nap?) revise, edit, and then post her!!

(also, new rule, per that lovely anon from this past weekend: i'm not going to think too hard about this; i wanted to write this so i did!! and i always end up writing a really prosey/emo/basically committing every single one of my self-indulgent writing habits in a fic--and they get mixed reviews but man, y'all have been so nice and encouraging and forgiving i'm just going to do it!! and if you like it, that's very sick and awesome thank you ily and if it's not your cup of tea thank you for even glancing at it. i'll be back with regularly scheduled programming soon.)

anyway... now i'm going to go uhhh, edit an entire manuscript of a book that so far is not my cup of tea... wish me luck. ty and gn x
