How do you think Steve felt the first time he realised that Tommy was going to be celebrating his birthday without him. He didn't have to go shopping for a present, didn't have to help plan his party. They weren't best friends anymore. Steve likes the person he is now, it was a good decision to cut Tommy off, but fuck it hurts.
Anyone else feel like the B plot of Lockwood's death wish kind of just...got dropped after the seige starts? Like, yeah, it understandably gets pushed back in favor of the main plot, and yet Stroud finds time to tell us that Flo is the one who beat Lockwood in the fencing tournament so surely he could have found more time in there somewhere to continue something that was a major point for the first half.
It just feels very unresolved to me, with the only possible "resolution" being when he talks to Lucy after Le Belle Dame, but that felt more like he was trying to deflect than an actual reflection on his mental state. Beyond the seige, the only real mention (that I remember) is at the very end when Marissa mentions that his recklessness is borderline suicidal and Lucy thinking back to his empty grave when he's begging her to run.
On the one hand, I'm glad it didn't get a clean "yeah he's fine now" ending because mental health doesn't work like that, but I guess I just thought we were going to get... well, slightly more than we did.
superficial internet culture is so lame bc "being an angel" isnt about only having a pretty doll face and a thin body, it is about having a considerate mind and a gentle heart and walk the earth with care and love...
had a dream i was listening to a very catchy edgy teto song on repeat like i cannot overstate it was a fully polished song & usually this happens when i fall asleep with a real song on and only after i woke up did i realize this song doesnt exist im so sad
It's always going to be a massive shame to me that paper mario went from some of the most engaging gameplay I've experienced to spm which is some of the least engaging gameplay
I was never one of those fans who were upset that spm wasn't turn based, but that doesn't change the fact that the side scrolling gameplay high key sucks
everybody loves armada/micron legend (taste) and makes fun of energon/superlink (which is a not good show) but no one talks about cybertron/galaxy force (has only seen cybertron) which is like.....what everyone should watch.
Over 3000 showed up to lobby their member of Parliament and urge them to vote for the Scottish National Party's motion for an immediate ceasefire, to replace the current government motion for a stop of humanitarian aid.
The motion did not pass, in fact it did not even get voted on. Which is what the MPs came there to do.
"As the war in Gaza continues to cause death, destruction, and terror, with over 30,000 people reported dead so far, British MPs couldn't even decide how to decide what they think about it"
The thousands of people who waited outside Parliament were left in the wind and rain with no explanation, as security let very few of us in. I was there 3 hours and got nowhere near the front, people AT the front said they did not get in. The MPs knew we came to lobby. We have a right to lobby and speak to our MPs. We organised and showed up in our thousands, but Parliament didn't accomplish anything. What is the state of democracy in this country?
People of the UK, KEEP SHOWING UP FOR PALESTINE. Make the national demonstration on Saturday 9th March the biggest so far. Spread the word of it everywhere, encourage people you know to show up.
Our government is pathetic and spineless and they are panicking under our pressure. ONE HUNDRED (!) Labour MPs were planning to rebel against their leader and vote for immediate ceasefire. Do not let up.
