So I'm deep into my Persona 5 feels at the moment and I need to do some screaming.

THIS POST CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS FOR PERSONA 5!

If you think you might want to play the game, please don't read it and just go in blind. It's so worth it!

Anyway, now that that's out of the way. I need to tell you about My Ship and Why it's Such a Good Ship and it's still taking up huge amounts of room in my head over two years after I finished the game.

Okay, so you have a Detective and Master Thief ship. Great! A+ trope already! We're already having a good time!

The Detective and the Thief meet and they both know who each other is, but are pretending to just be friends (more than friends??). It's secret identity fun with the secret thief spending time with the guy who is hunting him. Except the detective knows he's the thief already and is trying to get in good with him to get info. We're having a blast with the dramatic irony!

But wait, the Thief is actually...a good guy! He got screwed over by corruption and the justice system and so he now fights outside the law to protect people around him! He gets justice by breaking the law! Even better, right!

So now, I hear you say, the Detective and the Thief may start out as enemies (and they do) but actually they're on the same side!

Except....the Detective? He's actually a bad guy. He's working for the big bad. He's been murdering people under orders and is trying to infiltrate the thief's gang to blame his own crimes on them! Oh no!

In fact, he is ordered to Kill The Thief himself! And he does it! (Or thinks he does because actually the Thief figured it out and outsmarted him and didn't get murdered.)

So wow, you're saying. That's really interesting. This is toxic yuri yaoi! REALLY REALLY enemies to lovers! Fake friends to enemies to lovers?

And yes, you're not wrong. BUT there's MORE, because see ACTUALLY while all that is true about the Detective and what he's done...see he's also really really traumatized and he's out to get revenge on his father for his terrible childhood and his mother's death. And his father is the big bad and all of this was part of his elaborate revenge plan and actually he's just motivated by this warped sense of justice.

And actually they're not that different...the Thief even says hey I could have ended up just like you. So it's okay, actually. Let's fight together for justice against your evil dad. I know you did a few murders but I can forgive you.

And then...well...things end in tragedy, of course.

BUT NOT IN FANFIC THEY DON'T! (I mean sometimes they do.)

(Also I'm not getting into how much BETTER this all gets in Royal and everything. Suffice, more stuff happens and it's all very gay and epic and tragic and yeah.)

So yeah. This is why I'm so damn mentally ill about Them. It's like....MATHEMATICALLY the perfect ship. They are narrative foils, they're rivals, they're on opposite sides and then the same side and then opposite sides and then the same side again.

They are also INCREDIBLY OBSESSED WITH EACH OTHER and demonstrably UNHINGED about each other.

celltw with their weird cannibalism thing going around made me think, if we make fpac the past version of qpac, and same for cell and qcellbit, the reason that cell was so "obcessed" with fpac more even than with fmike (they also had a little thing) could be explained by two hypotheses.

1. Cell could have fallen in love with pac, I think that's the most popular hypothesis about what was going on with them, bc it MAKES SENSE. pac and mike were probally the nicest people that cell ever meet until that time probally, he dont REMEBER hos childhood at all, first memories were blood and eating a body in order to survive. Pac and mike were innocent and weaker at the time, and were not that mean with Cell, especially pac. Cell wasnt in contact with "love" until that moment, he dont remember receiving love and giving love until that moment. When pac "betrayed" him? He was heartbroken and confused with new fellings and a possible future freedom, like that he decided to take a part of pac. Pac, a very quickly thief, always using his legs to run from crime scenes. I dont have much stuff to say, this is the most popular hypotheses about their relationship and the strange cannibalism around them :P

Now the second hypothesis is my own theory that complements the first one :)

2. I trought for some time about this and I think that the first hypothesis that I wrote here is like 99% true Canon, but i like to think that the headcanon about pac being a half-god plays a good part here, bc what if him having a "god-like meat" could affect a famous cannibal in love with him? Maybe something primal on cell minds, already a canibal mentally unstable, got "awaken", maybe pac meat was the best thing that he tasted, and maybe only by smelling pac blood ended up with him canibalizing him? I also like to think that in quesadilha island pac was always being kidnapped/attacked/threatened bc of a part of his dna/biology that him, himself dont even recognize and notices (mike too bc they grew uo together)

The Plot by Jean Hanff Korelitz. After a struggling writer uses a dead former student's plot in his bestselling novel, he starts getting threatening messages calling him a thief. *Reminiscent of Yellowface although this came first, I liked the twist here more and it was less terminally online. I also read the sequel.

The Scum Villain's Self-Saving System by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. Finally got peer pressured into this and it was enjoyable enough despite my lack of familiarity with the genre it's playing with. Should be a hit with fans of toxic x oblivious yaoi.

The Frindle Files by Andrew Clements. Tech-savvy Josh learns something shocking about his tech-phobic teacher. *I grew up with Clements so it's fascinating to see his take on ed tech and social media, although these days I sympathize more with the harried teachers than the scrappy students lol.

Foundryside by Robert Jackson Bennett. Fantasy!hacker heist, thief Sancia's 'one last job' plunges her into magical and political intrigue in a fantasy Venice where magic works like computer programming. *Fun enough that I'm partway through the sequel, but I preferred his City of Blades.

Seaworker having weird interactions with his boss, who knows every detail of his body because he replicated every inch for Droidwatt, not quite sure how to feel about it because this guy looks and sounds so much like the Evbo he actually cares about and, again, Red's unintentionally hot and confident

Aaa thank you!!! Red has lowkey been a kin of mine since I first read the manga when I was like. 6. And now that I am almost 12 years older than I was then, I Have Thoughts.

I am using this ask as an excuse to blabber about Red btw, because I always have Opinions and I Think I Am Right because that's how most opinions work

(I'm so so sorry in advance it keeps getting longer. and more retrospective and a little symbolic. whoops. got too silly)

(Like 3 or 4 sentences out of this entire thing allude to Red being Attracted To Blue and tbh Green and Vio too, and there are like 2 mentions of Vio and Shadow being Gay As Hell. this did not become crazy shippy. But what is a ship but the way that characters are intertwined by their actions and being, when one's every action is to keep another happy and safe, is there any need for the words I Love You? I think not. So I guess with that logic this entire thing is one big makeout session, the fourth gayest thing, below "situationship where you're beaten with hammers", "toxic doomed yaoi", and "literal gay sex" lmao)

Red genuinely intrigues me so much and I love to look at him, study him like a bug.

The Link at the beginning of the manga showed so many traits, but I wouldn't quite say any Fully Aligned with who Red presented as. We saw Green's determination and drive, Blue's frustration and quickness to believe others are doubting his abilities, and arguably Vio's foresight in the way Link brought a flower from the Outer Kingdom to bring to Zelda, knowing it would lift her spirits. That's something that kinda holds hands with Red's behavior, but absolutely nowhere before pulling the sword does Link show that naivete and whimsy that made Red, well, Red!

Then Link splits, and they're all different. Green and Blue are the Most like Link, Green a little more so, and Vio hadn't been incredibly off with his smugness and high opinion of himself. Red, however, from the beginning, seemed just a little Out of Place. Green brings up working in a team out of Necessity, not because he likes it that much, and while Blue and Vio openly disliked the idea, Red simply states, well, a fact; "I've never been on a team before!"

He doesn't say Quite how he feels about it, which I think is Telling. He's feeling out the situation, even if just a little, and he's trying to adjust accordingly. He's Adaptable (and gay /silly) and notices during that first little battle that they are NOT working together. So he knows they Need to Work Together, and he knows that they Are Not Doing That.

He gives them someone to protect. I think like 90% of what he does is exactly how he feels, just cranked up a good bit, but he realizes that they need a center. It's not perfect, but it works Okay, at least for a while, and he's happy with it. I don't think he wanted to team up, either, because literally none of the other three Really did. If 3/4 of a guy start gagging at the idea of Working With People, the chances of that last part doing the same is pretty high.

He definitely latched onto the others, Vio and Blue more than Green, and I frankly think he admired Blue the most. It became less necessity and more "I want us to stay together."

It's not perfect, it never would be on such short notice. Blue's temper is insane, Green seems to doubt himself, Vio literally wants to be anywhere else all the time, and Red's trying to give them a shared goal of Not Letting Him Die.

Red's lesson from being split up kind of...doesn't make sense to me, personally. The lesson he said ("I learned I can't rely on others to protect me all the time!") seems flimsy. The situation he was put in, Kakariko and the Fire and the Thief, doesn't FIT that lesson. Not quite. Sure, he was alone there, but that was the case for ALL OF THEM (except Vio and Shadow making out in the trees), he wasn't special for that. I honestly, wholeheartedly believed Red learned a different lesson, and he felt like he couldn't Say It.

He learned he doesn't always know what's right. He saw a kid in trouble, and his morality told him to protect the child, as the son of the captain of the royal guard. He did so because it is in his moral compass, and he paid for it. He chose to try and trust the kid again because of his kind nature and soft spot for children, and, again, it BIT HIM. He tried to do what HE THOUGHT was RIGHT, and things kept getting WORSE for him. He learned that trying to hold the group together the way he was, the "right way" in his mind, wasn't going to make things better.

So he eases out of that role little by little, not too quick upon reuniting with Blue and eventually Green. By the time they're in the Tower of Winds with Vio on their side again, Red is still like chest deep in the role he made for himself.

Their father appears, and he's terrified because he's caught between moralities, I think. He must protect the ones he cares about the most, but when both blades are held by hands he knows so well, it's tearing him apart.

He genuinely cares about the other three. When he was grasped and in danger and Blue saved him before he could even think about it, I think it was one of the most Real versions of him that compelled him to act SO GAY. "My blue hero!" GIRL PLEASE.

Shadow sacrifices himself, and Red looks almost Blank about it. He doesn't understand, not fully. It's not sinking in, the sacrifice made. He is meant to protect and care for and hold Link together, to be a foundation of good deeds. Red is Link's Morality, and Link's Morals are very ideal.

In the Ideal Situation, Shadow wouldn't need to die. Because he's atoned and chosen light, then Hylia should have let him live in that light. But as the glittering shards of the shade float away, that's not what happened. It wasn't RIGHT, it wasn't how it should have gone. Like Blue, who kept lashing out, though much more self-aware, Red hadn't done a 180 upon learning his lesson. What was right, even if it didn't always Fix Things, was RIGHT, and the goddesses were meant to be RIGHT.

And the end wasn't right, either. They grew and changed so, so much, shouldn't they have a happy ending? But he understands a little better, now, and knows that what he thinks is right might not be what is right to the goddesses, so he's resigned, if not emotional.

He may have gotten a chance to show he cared, but as Blue wiped his tears and told him they were all just going to be closer than ever, he never got to SAY how much he cared.

Shaken, changed, and unresolved, they plunge the sword into the pedestal, and Red's story ends.

I have no idea how much of this made sense, but these are my biggest thoughts whenever I read through the manga. If Blue and Vio are the two plates, and Green is the main part of the scale, then Red is the thing binding Blue to Green to Vio, allowing their differences to weigh and be judged. Red is what connects them, it's what he'd been trying to do from the beginning.

Everything he did was to try and keep them together, because the stories always taught the lesson that the hero with the strength of four fought to the end as one. Even if he didn't personally like it, it was how it was supposed to go.

And that's one thing he was sure he was right about as it all blended together.

Until now, have you found any couple (canon or non canon) from any media (books, tv series, movies, anime/manga, etc) that the dynamics remind you of Neil/Andrew and Damen/Laurent?

if you're looking for dynamics specifically (as opposed to a full romance arc) the lymond chronicles, the queen's thief and empire of the vampire will scratch that damen/laurent itch.

it's common knowledge, at least in my niche circles, that cs pacat is a big fan of dorothy dunnett's work, that laurent is based on lymond and that his relationship with damen (down to specific scenes) was inspired by lymond's numerous boytoys. so reading the lymond chronicles after captive prince is constantly going aha! *leonardo dicaprio pointing meme*. what these books however don't have is a full romance arc with any of those men which is why you could say capri is, in a sense, a slash fic of the lymond chronicles. it's my favorite series of all time and i can't recommend it enough but it's also rather inaccessible in the beginning and has a steep learning curve - quite a commintment of your time and brain energy but so SO worth it!

the queen's thief is another series heavily inspired by the lymond chronicles and it has multiple ships that reminded me of damen/laurent: gen's love interest is very much a cast iron bitch and they do engage in an intense enemies to lovers romance, with some casualties. costis and kamet's story in thick as thieves is basically if the side quests laurent and damen went on were a whole separate book. and while not a canon romance like the previous two, whatever gen and costis have going on in the king of attolia is very reminiscent of the laurent/damen dynamic in book one (minus the slavery). two things to keep in mind if you decide to pick up the queen's thief: it's sort of ya (??) so the brutality and sexiness, while present, will not be on the same level as capri. and book one doesn't feature any of the above ships so, again, you gotta commit to the whole thing :)

now, while these two recs seem like no-brainers to me, i'm very excited to take this opportunity to yell about empire of the vampire from the rooftops AGAIN!! eotv is basically a story about epic quests and valiant deeds told by a jaded captive vampire hunter to his cunty vampire captor (who is blonde bc yes). jean françois is definitely inspired by anne rice's lestat (as the narrative format as a whole is inspired by interview with the vampire) but his dynamic with gabriel is just Peak Laurent/Damen Banter. "i speak your language better than you speak mine, sweetheart" and "hello, lover" galore! in fact, after i found out that pacat and jay kristoff know each other personally i became convinced that he had either read capri and borrowed the vibe OR *starts rambling about her conspiracy theory about how all australian fantasy authors drink secret australian magic juice that makes them write fun depraved sff, gets smacked on the head, passes out* where was i... ah yes, nasty gay vampires. eotv is very fun and very tropey, also very queer and sexy (esp book two) and it had my toxic yaoi needs covered however comma. jean françois/gabriel is basically them sitting in a room in the frame narrative and exchanging homoerotic barbs, while the story itself is about gabriel's past adventures (also very interesting but less homoerotic). it's unlikely that they're gonna have any sort of romance arc - unless someone reads the books and writes a fic of them. please.

alas, i still can't rec anything that comes close to what nora achieved with andreil. to me, the defining characteristics of their dynamic are two feral cats circling and sniffing each other, intricate rituals, overdramatic dialogue, aspec attraction (on neil's part). while one can attempt to find some of these elements in other stories, you cannot find all of them at once (aspec pov on relationships being particularly rare in fiction). there's just no other couple that manages to strike a perfect balance between the anime levels of drama and chaos on the one hand and the serious themes of trauma, acceptance, consent etc on the other hand. sorry, anon, ig we'll have to keep re-reading aftg until one of the aspiring authors i bet this fandom has a lot of writes their own book inspired by andreil🤷‍♀️

hey anon im gonna be honest with you i havent seen the show. now, i believe you 10000% ! but i havent watched it. i read the books (up through the body thief) years ago... probably the most recent one i read was .... oof, maybe 2019? so its been years. but my tags on that post were ONLY referencing the romantic and implied relationships that lestat had with louis, nicolas, armand, marius, david talbot, and maybe even raglan james (i dont know anybody past these men, because i didnt read any other books).

i was talking ONLY about the romantic relationships because that was what i believe the post was talking about- the queer relationships in the four shows the op tweeter suggested. i made a joke in the tags about how i wanted people to watch the interview with a vampire show to experience the "toxic yaoi" of the relationships.

like i said, i havent watched the show. i wasnt really aware of the beating. im not SURPRISED by it, though, because as i recall lestat and louis had some pretty fuckin horrific fights in the books (and, i assume youre talking about louis, although you could be talking about almost anybody and i wouldnt know). so anyway, i guess thats on me for joking about it without putting a tw or whatever? and i apologize, sincerely. but i also dont think anybody would see my joke tags about toxic yaoi and think i am genuinely recommending the show to be wholesome. in fact, the quote tweet itself is making fun of the op tweet for recommending "positive queer shows" and recommending shows that are very, VERY uhhh... i dont even know the proper descriptor here. but they definitely aren't for the "uwu positivve queew wepwesentation" crowd. theyre literally horror shows.

Hi due to some things happening I’d like to say a few things about the webcomic The Glass Scientists because I keep seeing lies about it.

First off, if you don’t know, TGS is set in VICTORIAN LONDON because it’s a mad science fantasy comic with a dark academia twist. This is extremely important to the story, considering how easy it is to set things on fire, how the two of the three main characters have a shitton of Victorian repression, and how Hyde, the other main character, came to be in the first place.

Now, I’ll be talking about Hyde’s actions/what happens to him throughout the comic, the way Sabrina, the author represents POC, the two white main characters and how that’s not a bad thing, the claim that it’s a bad representation of D.I.D, when consuming problemactic media becomes a problem/why problematic media is needed, and finally what is and isn’t a lie. And, spoiler warning for the entire comic.

Edward Hyde’s Actions and the Plot Points Surrounding Him

Edward Hyde is the on and off narrator for TGS, and is also, in my opinion, one of the main characters. His actions have greatly befitted the plot, from when he manipulated Jekyll into letting him go free for a night so he could visit Blackfog, when he set a third of London on fire on accident, when he started using “nightmares” to torture Jekyll into letting him out to go to Blackfog again, him discovering he could take control of Jekyll’s body, becoming what my friend and I call Green Eye, and finally Rachel and Hyde’s relationship which started before the comic even began. These are just the ones off the top of my head, but there are more.

I’ll talk about Rachel and Hyde’s relationship first, because it’s used as a plot point multiple times. At first glance, it could appear that Rachel is abusive towards Hyde. One could make that arguement, and I only slightly agree. The reason for Rachel’s actions towards Hyde is because her deceased little brother, Eli, looks an awful lot like Hyde. Rachel blames herself for Eli’s death, and believes if she was there for Eli more he wouldn’t have died. This is explained by Rachel’s older brother, Patrin, to Hyde. I don’t believe Rachel is trying to be abusive, commonly people don’t realize their actions are, in fact, abusive. That gives others time to show them the error of their ways (However, there are people who know they’re being abusive, and that is not a good way to view the world). Rachel is not intending to abuse Hyde in any way, she simply believes that she can “rescue” Hyde from a life of crime and thievery, doing what she couldn’t with Eli. This, in and of itself, is not bad. Their relationship is only slightly toxic. If Rachel can get over Eli’s death, and stop blaming herself for it, I’m sure their relationship will be less toxic.

Now onto the things Hyde does. Hyde is meant to be a bad person. Hyde is everything Jekyll’s repressed, and clearly Jekyll has had some nasty thoughts. It’s also good to keep in mind that neither Hyde nor Jekyll are a full person. Jekyll drinking the HJ7 split his personality in two. Both Hyde and Jekyll are missing important parts of themselves, so, in my opinion, neither of them could be classified as a full human, but they are the same person. I bring this up because Hyde relied on Jekyll to take care of maintaining looks, paying bills, and other responsibilities that Hyde didn’t want to deal with. And Hyde has been shown hating the idea of being trapped. So, what does Hyde do? He manipulates Jekyll into giving him what he wants. But we run into a problem when people expect Hyde to be perfect and a saint. That isn’t his character at all. His character is supposed to be considered evil by Victorian society. So he’s not going to be unproblematic. He’s based off the book Hyde, who literally trampled a little girl and committed murder. The explanation I just listed is the reason behind most of Hyde’s actions throughout the story, and they commonly carry the plot forward.

Sabrina’s POC Representation

I’d like to go on record and say that the representation in TGS is nice to see, however I am white myself. I’ll be going off of what I’ve heard other POC say about the representation, and my own personal opinions. The main criticism I see is Lanyon and Lucy being portrayed as black stereotypes. Except they aren’t. First off, Lanyon isn’t even a full black man. He’s biracial (half white half black). I’m not too sure about Lucy, but given the fact she is darker than Lanyon I believe she is a full black woman. Neither of them play into stereotypes. Now you could say that Lanyon is the gay black best friend, except that would be diminishing him to half of his racial identity, his sexuality, and his relationship with Jekyll. The comic is good at showing that Lanyon doesn’t fit that mould perfectly, or in fact at all. Lanyon’s actions are fueled by the want to keep the Society for Arcane Sciences afloat, and keeping Jekyll alive and well. His sexuality also plays a role in the plot because before the comic started, it’s shown that Lanyon and Jekyll clearly have a history, and as you read further you can infer that it was sexual in nature. Why would a straight man in Victorian London sleep with a man?

Now, onto Lucy. We don’t know a lot about Lucy, but we do know that she was poor as a child, and was able to create an empire of thieves and provide housing, childcare, and income to a lot of women. Now, tell me how that’s playing into a stereotype for black women. Or, really, black people in general. From what I’ve researched, a lot of stereotypes about black people are rooted in racism and slavery. You could argue that because Lucy’s a thief, it’s negative and racist. But if Sabrina was racist, wouldn’t Lanyon also be a thief instead of being well off? And wouldn’t Lucy not have been able to create something of this magnitude, because the entirety of London knows about her empire.

Another criticism I saw is the fact that Rachel’s name doesn’t fit her race. And that Eli being a thief is a negative stereotype. As far as we know, all of Rachel’s blood-bound family is Romani. But here’s the catch, we don’t know if Rachel’s parents are immigrants or not. They could have very well have been raised in London themselves which is why Rachel has her name to begin with. I’m not entirely sure about the Eli stereotype, but I know it wasn’t meant to be like that. Eli is meant to be like Hyde, and Hyde has problematic traits and does problematic things. It’s supposed to be a parallel between the two, which is why Rachel acts the way she does with Hyde.

Why Having Two White Men as Protagonists Isn’t a Bad Thing

I know I’ll get backlash, but not every piece of media needs a POC main character. Especially not when it’s set in Victorian London. However even with my first statement, in TGS there is a biracial gay man as a protagonist. And even though Hyde and Jekyll are white and are men, they aren’t straight. Jekyll is bisexual and Hyde is pansexual. So there’s still some representation for the LGBTQ+ community, which I am a part of. I’m a transgender man and bisexual myself and I like seeing bisexual men be represented.

Why Jekyll and Hyde Isn’t the Thing You Turn to for D.I.D Representation

J&H was never meant to be D.I.D representation. And even if it was, it was written in the times where people were sent to asylums for briefly thinking they heard something when they didn’t /not serious, joking. As someone who has two systemmates, I can assure you that J&H isn’t meant to be D.I.D representation. And if people are trying to claim it is, you should maybe just try and talk to them to see where they’re coming from.

Problematic Media

Consuming problematic media doesn’t make you a bad person. Creating it doesn’t make you one either. It becomes a problem when the person or you creating it tried to romanize certain toxic behaviours, or claim problematic actions are perfectly okay. We need problematic media because we don’t know the story behind it. The person making it could just be venting and trying to heal, or if they write a success stories, like I do, it creates a well of hope in them. Because they believe if this character can do it, then so I can I. Now, how does this tie into TGS? Characters in the comic have shown behaviours that are problematic. Rachel, Hyde, Frankenstein, Moreau, and even Jekyll to an extent. However, their behaviours are framed in a way that puts them in the wrong, but they aren’t bad people, aside from Moreau.

What is and isn’t true?

TGS is not a “yaoi uwu gay soft bois” comic.

Characters are allowed to be problematic because no one is perfect.

No one’s sexualities have been the butt of any jokes.

No one has been sexually assaulted within the events of the comic or what has been shown.

Lanyon and Lucy are not black stereotypes.

Hyde and Jekyll being white and men aren’t a problem.

major spoilers for persona 5 + royal bc almost everything abt akechi is somewhat of a spoiler lol. anyway:

they were literally chosen by (a) god to oppose and challenge each other up until one of them dies, basically

akechi shot joker in the head 👍 (dw he survived)

akechi threw his glove at joker, asking for a duel later on, while also confessing about how much he hates him

^joker held onto said glove and said so in the moments before akechi died

(tbc, akechi died bc he tried to once again kill joker - this time kill his friends too - and failed. again. also more stuff happened but like this was the situation leading up to this^)

another (temporary) god decided that the thing that'll make joker happiest is akechi being brought back to life

they have a unique attack together where akechi lets himself go berserk, trusting joker to watch his back

they go on silly dates together like a cafe and an arcade and such. it's very sweet tbh

in one of those dates akechi takes joker to the one place he feels safe at, trusting him enough with it

akechi trauma dumped onto joker while they were bathing together

joker had to decide whether he wants to keep his friends (and everyone else in the world) brainwashed or let akechi die (again). akechi asked him to let him die. joker does not want him to die. obviously

after letting akechi die (again), months later we see that joker is still holding onto akechi's glove

they worked to solve a case together :) akira dressed in drag for the occasion (there is an actual story reason for that but who cares. it's kinda flimsy anyway we all know it was for fan service)

they're literally a detective and a phantom thief... clearly the most peak dynamic in fiction...

there is absolutely more that i'm forgetting bc it's been awhile since i directly engaged with p5 but fr. the doomed toxic yaoi is flourishing. i highly recommend experiencing it for yourself if you can 🫡
