#TUA season three

Everybody is hating on season 4 of Tua but the real problem started in season 3 imo. It was very entertaining but they dropped so much lore that needed to be explained. It was a very complicated storyline that only a masterful writer could properly conclude. And that did not happen. Season 4 could have easily been spent just answering the questions left over from season 3 and there wouldn't be time left for a new plotline (because Tua had pretty distinct seasons).

And these fuckers went the complete opposite way were not only did they not tie up loose ends from the last season but created new ones.

The ending while sad and stereotypical, made sense for the most part. Sacrifice for the greater good etc.

I keep remembering that Klaus is grieving his brother during season 3. All of his other siblings had years to live with it, but Klaus has had like a week. And yes, Sparrow Ben’s there, but he’s not the same as the person who’s been at his side for the last 17 years.

Rewatching The Umbrella Academy and the very ending of season 2 when they meet the Sparrows, Ben’s hair is down all emo-like. In the first episode of season 3, Ben’s hair is spiked up instead…

Like obviously they shot these scenes are different times. But that’s such a consistency error??

Did they completely forget what Ben looked like even though they got everyone else correct???

Everyone is standing in the same exact positions, same clothes and everything, EXCEPT BEN!

WHY???

Because of this I choose to believe it was purposeful and clueing us into the “fact” that between the seasons, in 1 moment, the Audience’s timeline switched and season 3 and 4 is some completely different universe that we don’t have to worry about! Problem solved!!

But seriously, this inconsistency bothers the hell out of me… am I crazy?

AU where Klaus and Five get to finish their care free road trip in Season 3.

They got to visit Brownsville's Big Nickel, eat some delicious pies at Ricky's Bakery and Klaus gets forcably ejected from Cow Henge after suggesting they should try and recreate it with real cows.

It would become a yearly tradition where they would travel to different states and make it their goal to take the goofiest and most cringe worthy pictures with each roadside attraction.

They would bring back trinkets or odds and ends from various gift shops and gift them to different family members with no explanation.

The Ball of Twine was only the beginning!

part one

Hargreaves had no weaknesses- except one…the worst one. Love is a terrible thing. It is a curse with a fatal ending. There is no cure, no matter how hard you try and replace it. A simple distraction can not cure something so irreplaceable.

Not even the Five Hargreaves’ mind could grasp that fact. Shocking right? Five Hargreaves was a victim to this tragedy of a curse. 45 years away from the cause might sound like a wonderful vacation from a disease…however that was not the case. Every day for the first 4 years felt suffocating to the boy. Especially when you had witnessed the death of the loved one(s).

Yes, the boy had other loved ones he had witnessed the pink flush of life coating their now hollowed out cheeks. However, this one was different…he didn’t love you like the rest. You weren’t his “family” hearsay- more like a family friend? Your father was an old colleague of his, therefore you have seen him and his family more than just once in a while.

It didn’t take long for Hargreaves to fall into the disease. You were intoxicating, from every sarcastic comment to the way rubbed your under eye bags when you were bored.

At first you guys butted heads whenever one looked at the other. Yet, you both had soon found relation in each other’s past. He felt like he had someone else he felt safe with…she understood everything that came out of his mouth. Though you were an only child, had no powers, and not traumatized..you still understood. You refused to let him use the excuse, “you won’t understand.” by shutting that down with a, “then help me understand.” He needed you, you were his escape.

When Hargreaves had gotten himself stuck in time, he was mortified at the sight of his family lying lifeless before him. His stomach churned and he couldn’t breathe. When he turned his head to the left and saw the strand of h/c his knees buckles and it was like his airway decided to betray him. He knew he loved you. That’s why half of his heart crumbled that day…nothing could fill that gap.

Maybe a distraction could help. Help take your mind of the disease called love. That’s what Hargreaves thought when he met Delores. Who in the back of his mind was a version of you.

Five remembers about Klaus

Before accepting the handler's hand, Five looks first at the direction of the Ice Cream Truck where Diego and Klaus were (don't remember the scene very well)

When Klaus was driving the truck in front of Luther and Five, Five only comments "he", referring to Klaus

Klaus was the one that Five noticed first when he reunited with his family for the first time (don't remember this scene very well either)

Okay everyone I have an amazing fanfiction idea I need someone to bring to life. It is a Ben Hargreeves x reader, you are also an umbrella but after Ben dies you can still see and feel him and he can still touch you. So say it’s like season 2 and you are staying with Klaus in his cult house and you are like pregnant with Ben’s baby (let’s say 6 months) and then when everyone time travels back to 2016 you see sparrow Ben and think he is your Ben. That’s all I have really but it’s just a brilliant idea. Thank you

Five: cash from god knows where, and a picture of Delores

I've been drawing fanart of the main 8 from tua, with their child selves and season 4 selves, and when I got to Five I kept procrastinating because I just could not draw season 4 Five.

Maybe I'm crazy but I just- Five's my favourite. And season four just- ugh

I made him season 3 Five instead and the moment I changed his hair and made his tie all-black I was enjoying myself again.
