I don't know if someone already pointed out this (I joined the fandom in october 2024) but after watching tadc pilot's trailer for the first time, I just find interesting when ragatha says "when you reach your breaking point, something really terrible can happen" IT SHOWS THIS SPECIFIC SCENE

I hope that I'm just crazy and overanalyzing everything bc i don't know if I'm ready for the canon showtime/caine angst

So, is Pomni's name (which translates to "remember" from russian) supposed to be a nod to how she recalls past adventures in each episode... due to being the main character?

Those moments also serve as a way to give the audience a quick recap of the prior episodes, but I just found it curious that Gooseworx might have picked her name for that reason.

Episode 2 (after her first adventure, and just giving an overall reality check)

Episode 3 (vague recap/showing her memory of Gummigoo)

Episode 4 (recap part 2/She shares the side of the adventure that only she can remember)

Episode 5... Pomni seems elated about the suggestion box in the fourth episode, so I'm not sure if she would have any worries that she needs to assure with Caine, when her side of the Spudsy's adventure wasn't all that bad.

I’m 95% sure that Jax’s “I want you dead” line will be directed towards some random NPC that none of us give too much shits about because Gooseworx wouldn’t just be volunteering to give us this quote if it was super spoilery or something that causes another character to abstract. I mean if you want to write a Bunnydoll tragedy where Jax says that to Raggie then go for it, but I think it’d be fucking hilarious if he said it to Gloink Queen.

The second I saw this scene I instantly remembered this moment from episode 1

Back then I thought the brightening of the lights was meant to make the moment more intense and to emphasize how scary Kaufmo looks. He even looks like he was trying to overcome his madness for a sec.

But, no!

It’s his reaction to the lights. The hallway was too bright for him!

I bet Caine is fully aware of this fact with the abstracted humans, and that’s why he keeps them all in the cellar where it’s dark.

When Kaufmo was loose in the Tent, he just attacked anything in his path, his many eyes darting all over the place. Contrast this with (who I’m assuming is) Queenie in the soft darkness of Kinger’s pillow fort, all of her eyes trained on him and much more focused.

The Circus is overstimulation for the abstracted. That’s what makes them so aggressive.

OK. I was re-watching the tadc episode 4 because why not?

And I noticed Jax expression changed when zooble made the Joke about Jax not talking or whatever.

And it's not the first time, because in episode 2? He looked sad/upset about kofmo funeral but quietly got "mad" or annoyed. (Probably at himself for carrying)

In episode 4, he was able to show he was scared because he knew no one was watching him. I think idk

Uhhhhhh..... I'm not sure what I'm trying to say or prove....I just wanted to talk about this because I have no one to talk about my interests/hyperfixation 🥲🔪

For me, the fact that the Amazing Digital Circus opted to give Kinger and "Queener" matching avatars implies A LOT, especially if we follow the belief that the avatars act as psychological reflections. Here's my own take:

Studies have found that long-married couples will effectively share a single mind between them. Their brains outsource specific mental and emotional tasks to one another, such as memory, communication, or certain types of problem-solving. This causes the death of a long-married spouse to effectively rob the living partner of half their mental faculties. And due to how our brains decrease in neuroplasticity as we grow older, a long-married mind isn't really capable of re-learning its lost functions.

Kinger's current mental state very much resembles someone trying to function without their other half. There's memory problems, multiple occasions where he has to rely on Gangle or Zooble to point something obvious out to him, and a clear emotional instability.

I mean... Look at her sad face...

I can't believe the devs made her look so relatable to us... I believe that back then then when she was a human, she most likely went to art school cause she wanted to become an artist who makes comics and stuff and pursue her dreams in the want she wants to!

But.. OF COURSE!! since the DAMN society never encourages artists to make a living of their career, Gangle had no choice but to end up working in a fast food restaurant.. (mostly likely McDonald's) and accepts her harsh reality as "you need to remember that they're completely unrealistic and you need to stop trying" (gosh... This line freaking hurts me...)

And Gangle, tried to be optimistic, but with the way the characters have treated Gangle at the restaurant (EVEN RAGATHA WAS UNHINGED LIKE BRUH) I am assuming that the co-workers were also bullying/not taking her seriously irl which made her feel hopeless and believing that no matter how hard she tried... She would always be.... A failure........

The more I learned about her, the more I loved her deeply more than anything else and I want to hug her tightly and give her multiple kisses in her cheeks

Jax knows what's going on and he's being the most douchey peacekeeper about it.

Anytime the tension rises, Jax comes in with a quip or remark to chill everyone out.

When Gangle asks about Kaufmo:

When Zooble asks where Pomni is:

And when Pomni first brings up the exit he acts like a dick to distract everyone

When the group decide they want to check on Kaufmo and find Zooble he assigns the best people based on how stable they are.

It might be possible that he didn't know Kaufmo had abstracted at this point, but the fact he paired up Kinger and Gangle on the less stressful objective shows he knows it's a possibility since no one has seen Kaufmo and that those two wouldn't be able to handle it if they saw him the way he turned out and could abstract themselves.

nobody cares about the utah teapots in TADC episode 2 like i care about the utah teapots in TADC episode 2

if you don’t know the historical significance, it was one of the earliest 3D models, made in 1975.

now it’s essentially the Windhelm Scream for computer graphics folks, hidden as easter eggs in shows like Toy Story and the Simpsons.

the meta of The Digital Circus is all about old computer graphics and programs. and Pomni and Gummigoo soaring through a field of Utah Teapots paired with the ethereal synth music gives me this sense of wonder and nostalgia that early computer games also invoked.

We all know Jax acted like he knows someone watches them.

We can tell he does this usually via Zooble's reaction. HE DID THIS AGAIN!

He asked if someone can see this. Did he imply someone in Digital Sircus or someone from outside? Maybe he knows someone tests them. Can they be in a test version of a game? Is Jack know that and act accordingly about getting tested? He can be only people knows the truth(except Caine) Maybe he implead someone from sircus. Maybe he just doesn't want someone sees he is weak.
