My prediction for ep 6: Pomni, Ragatha, and Jax are gonna be in a “handle on the outside” trapped room situation and Pomni’s gonna play heavy mediator for the other two. Ragatha, based on ep 5, is going to be very close to abstracting

EP 5 Prediction/Theory

Just wanted to make this idea public cause I think it's cool, but I could be 100% wrong on it. It IS just a theory after all

So, I was thinking about how it's most likely that the stadium we got teased with in the season announcement is probably Ragatha's episode. Especially now since we know she at least knows how to play it and probably enjoys the sport as well

But then that got me to thinking about what Gooseworx said in terms of shadow Ragatha. Well, the two things. "This attachment to Ragatha is going to be EP 5 a lot funnier" and the "No one has correctly guessed shadow Ragatha". So, here's me rolling the dice at this prediction:

So. Baseball is a team sport. I'm sure everyone knows this. Of course, Ragatha being all about codependency, she would like to play this sport. But there's always two teams. ESPECIALLY if it's in a stadium. Because that means it's the bigger leagues. So... What if the opposite team are the shadow characters?

Like the ones from EP 2

Caine has already shown that he has access to the player models with both the EP 3 mounted heads as well as the outfits from EP 4 fitting perfectly (And let's be honest: The VHS tape Gangle most likely is NOT Gangle). so modified player models are already something that Caine can clearly do

Plus, this wouldn't contradict another thing Gooseworx said about no more major NPCs being shown. Because it's not an NPC because they're not completely new characters. They're just clones of the OG characters. And for extra benefit- I'd think that they'd be the worst parts of the characters but exaggerated and harmful

Why this?

Because if this is true, I wish for shadow Ragatha to be every flaw that Ragatha is. Her hidden thoughts and feelings, her need for companionship, and her nasty temper. Ragatha clearly doesn't like her own flaws- only being (impulsively) honest when LITERALLY HIGH OFF HER ASS- so of course this would get under her skin

I think the best way to have that work too is if the torment is emotional. The shadow team does better than the OGs, and Ragatha gets more frustrated with everyone else for not listening to her, when in reality she's her own downfall. I don't wish for a scene where she blows up at her ACTUAL friends... But maybe at the shadows instead

She manages to be alone with them and she just- lets her anger out on them. Pinning THEM as the reason they're losing. But instead... The shadows begin to berate her. Dig into HER own insecurities and troubles and maybe even trauma, shadow Ragatha being the main person to do it

I dunno how it would get resolved, but yeah :D Just a lil food for thought

I’m 95% sure that Jax’s “I want you dead” line will be directed towards some random NPC that none of us give too much shits about because Gooseworx wouldn’t just be volunteering to give us this quote if it was super spoilery or something that causes another character to abstract. I mean if you want to write a Bunnydoll tragedy where Jax says that to Raggie then go for it, but I think it’d be fucking hilarious if he said it to Gloink Queen.

What we (indirectly) learned from the TADC update

So many adventures and characters announced!

Where do we start? How about we do (sort of) chronological order

Starting with...

The only one we have a name for! This is also the one we see the most of, so it's probably in episode 2.

And here we have some colorful denizens of the seeming medieval and western confectionary realm:

So we have a gummy-gator sheriff, a chocolate blob, what might be a more distinct varirent of Dr. Football (the bath mannequin) and a literal Candy Queenie.

This just proves to me that TADC will pull a Psychoville and give the oldest main cast member the first spotlight episode. The actual character significance is something we'll get to later.

Now, adventure no. 2. Spudsy's!

You can see the brand name on the bag, btw.

The glove might belong to Spudsy, themselves, it might actually BE Spudsy, or it might just be a floating glove. Time will tell.

But Jax being so freaked out makes me wonder if this will actually be his episode. I'm actually not sure if this is episode 3 or 4 and, again, we'll get back to this.

We also learn the blue sphere person is (likely) the base template of the Spudy's customers.

Now, The Ghost Manor!

The only confirmed shots we get of it are of a little ghoulie and the Ghost Hostess from the teaser. This is my other contender for episode 3 or 4. The reason I'm unsure is this:

We get these very similar shots of a recorder classed as a new character, and Kinger beating someone with a shotgun. The light makes it seem like this might be in the ghost episode, or it might be a Kinger's backstory related flashback/delusion.

And lastly, the sport adventure we get teased with:

As the only unrelated asset we see, I'm guessing this will be in episode 5.

On the production side, we have this in the description:

From how she's talked about it before, it seems Goose currently plans on 1 season while planning to leave enough room to continue the series with a second season at some point.

And most importantly, we're looking at May as a likely, though importantly, not confirmed, release window for episode 2.

In conclusion, GET HYPED!!!

Hmm...

I made a realization the other day.

Jax and Ragatha have the same colour scheme as the only canon couples in the show (Kinger and Queenie, Baron Theodore Mildenhall and Martha Mildenhall). Both of those couples are married. Both of the women in these couples are dead (or in Queenie's case, abstracted. Which is the circus' version of dying).

Jax has PURPLE skin/fur/hair. Who has a furry/hairy PURPLE robe? Kinger.

Ragatha has RED hair. Who has a furry/hairy RED robe? Queenie.

Jax has PURPLE skin/fur/hair. Who else has PURPLE skin? Baron Theodore Mildenhall.

Ragatha has a BLUE dress, button eye, and bow. Who is BLUE/turquoize period? Martha Mildenhall.

Turquoize is a shade, like pink, white and black. It's the fade between green and BLUE. We've already used BLUE, so that's out of the picture. But green? Green is opposite on the colour to RED.

We obviously know Martha was shot by Baron Theodore, and it's widely assumed that Kinger was the cause of Queenie's abstraction (based off of how he was reacting listening to Baron Theodore's tape). As I said earlier, abstraction is the same as death in the circus.

When asked to describe Episode 6 in one word, Gooseworx said 'guns'.

One of Jax's upcoming lines is "I want you DEAD!!!"

Episode 6 is about Jax and Ragatha.

Ragatha's abstracting and Bunnydoll is canon.

i'm really wondering about zooble's character tbh... they barely have any lines and most of their dialogue is just them being done with everyone's shit lol.

i'm curious about this one line in episode 2 though: "You don't wanna mess with the new AI, Zoobie?" it feels kind of random but... intentional random? like one of those moments you look back on and go 'ohhhhh that makes sense now'. it's played off as a joke, but it seemed like jax was confused as to why they didn't wanna come on the adventure with him, even just to mess stuff up for fun. like it was something they usually did.

were zooble and jax friends in the past? maybe there was an event that pushed them in opposite directions-- maybe they both started out just deciding to mess with everything: the world, the ai, maybe even playing pranks on the others. but then something happened. maybe someone close to them abstracted. maybe it was kaufmo abstracting.

(it could also be possible that he was covering for zooble to be able to stay behind and set up the funeral and that's all this is but im gonna read into it because im already thinking the thought and the thought needs to be thunk.)

anyways, as for the opposite direction thing: whatever happened between them only disillusioned zooble with the digital world and caused them to become more withdrawn, whereas it pushed jax to be even more chaotic, throwing himself into the adventures and looking for ways to cause chaos. maybe they both realized that nothing they did mattered - and had opposite coping mechanisms for it. what's that one meme with "nothing in life matters" with the depressed guy and the happy guy? cause thats them lol

WHAT IF IN THE NEXT TADC EPISODE-

Caine needs a break bc he has an identity crisis and gives the power to Jax temporarily, Jax brings them to loads of different places and ends up going a bit crazy I mean it checks out with the teaserrr....

Edit: what if Caine is going crazy but when he passes his power on Jax becomes crazy, realizing this has effected Jax Caine decides to monitor him

prediction of how Jax and Pomni's relationship will be

okay so, first of all, Jax obviously would never open up to anyone. we all know that, right? well, pomni is nice... trustworthy and friendly to the point that even Jax feels comfortable around her. he vents to her, she accepts him. sometimes he vents about how he wishes he wasn't such an asshole, but he just can't help himself. he starts misbehaving before he can even think about it. in his backstory, he was taught to be cruel for his own safety. now it's just second nature for him. pomni tries to convince him that he can, in fact, change for the better. despite jax's desire to be likeable, he always responds that he can't, it's not possible, all he can do is give up.

jax also happens to not be the nicest to pomni. he ends up being a bit too honest, even in cases where it really doesn't matter. it hurts her. she doesn't feel as good about herself. it kind of devolves into them becoming friends, then stopping, and rinse and repeat.

as much as she wants to fix him, she never ends up doing that, unfortunately for them both. jax probably ends up closing up his walls again, no longer open to even pomni, the one he trusted most with his most secret feelings and everything. why? i genuinely do not know.

if you're wondering why i know all of those tiny little details, but not that, well... i'm literally pomni. by which i mean i am both venting and projecting about this one person i was friends with and our relationship lmao. this isn't even a theory this is just my life

My new opinion on the episode 5 adventure debate:

The baseball / softball adventure will be episode 5’s adventure:

(This was hinted to us as being episode 5’s adventure in Glitch’s “POMNI WAKE UP TIME TO GO ON AN ADVENTURE” video)

The safari / hunting adventure will be episode 6’s adventure:

(Goose said that episode 6 will be Jax’s episode & when asked to describe every episode in one word, Goose said “guns” for episode 6)

The office adventure will be episode 7’s adventure:

(The exit doors from episode 1 were in office rooms so another episode where the characters are looking for the exit will likely be closer to the end of the series than the previous two adventures mentioned)

So thanks to @moumekie telling me about the funky lil thing called 'two player instances' I now have an idea for how the episode that introduces Martha is gonna go down

Basically: Haunted house. Full of ghosts. Martha is the head of these spirits. At first, she's nice and kind- however because of one reason or another, she gets pissed off at the group

This THEN results in her playing mind games with them via 'two player instances', where she will control these instances to cause paranoia and distrust (perhaps these instances are also off in one way or another)

And so what's the solution?

EVERYONE CARRIES GUNS. THEY FUCKING SHOOT THE INSTANCES. And if they don't carry the right gun, or no gun at all, THEY GET FUCKING SHOT

That will 100% explain this picture

Let's talk about TADC episode 2!

So, I originally wanted to do a review post for the episode, but my thoughts boil down to "It's great, I wish the changes from plot a to b were a bit better placed, but otherwise no notes"

SO

I instead decided to do a post about some theories I've been pondering a lot since the premier.

The Gangle Issue

So, some things have been bothering me about Gangle ever since the pilot and I've finally cracked it!

Caine makes a point of saying that he can't directly alter human minds....So why then, does Gangle's mask control her general mood? If she is human, how does an in-game mechanic effect her mind so directly? Why does Caine so intensely fear mixing up players and NPCs? Does he suspect it's already happened?

And then there's this line from Jax: "I thought you were supposed to be submissive and agreeable!" This is obviously a joke, but the way he said it stuck out to me, the emphasis he puts on SUPPOSED TO BE, as if she's specifically made to act a certain way.

So, with all this said, can an NPC sufficiently convinced it's a human abstract?

The Origins of Jax

Both of the first 2 episodes have made some things apparent about Jax, he's great at slightly of hand and pickpocketing, he doesn't see a point to generosity, he can think quickly and takes genuine joy in the action oriented parts of adventures.

I've marinated on these traits and him being a more recent arrival to the circus and come up with this:

Jax was homeless in the real world and he entered the circus while squatting in the abandoned C&A office building.

He doesn't want to leave because he has nothing to go back to, he's in a world where rather than struggling to survive to tomorrow, he's able to enjoy effectively consequence free thrills daily.

All this lead me to one last theory

The In-Tent Behind The Circus

Personally, I think e circus was made to function as a place to keep people seen as too broken to fit into society for one reason or another. Perhaps it was planned to have a way of letting those who have healed out at some point, but the memory wipes made it impossible, so the project was buried. Or maybe, it's the opposite, it was designed to confuse it's occupants into harmlessess, after which they'd could be safely forgotten about.

Time will tell.

Alright, I need to get this Digital Circus prediction out or I'll go insane.

So, this Episode 6 prediction is based on the Jax is an npc theory. I could be entirely wrong if that's not the case, but I'm gonna role with it:

•I do think it will be revealed that Jax is an npc in episode 6 and the whole plot of the episode will be Pomni trying to hide him from Caine.

If I'm remembering correctly, Gooseworx said episode 5 was the calm before the storm and I think these will be the stakes moving forward.

•This is a less confident prediction, but I do think Ragatha might try to save Jax and trick Caine into thinking she's the npc. It would be her last act of genuine good will towards Jax. But still not that confident in this one because Ragatha is the most likely one to be abstracted instead.

•Lastly, we all know that Caine is probably gonna go nuts. The paranoia with the knowledge that an npc is among them mixed with the growing insecurity he has about not being good at his job will make him act more like a dictator than a ringleader.

So yeah, that's my take.

TADC Theory/Prediction!

Jax, and everyone else, are not NPCs, but I do think the show is going to toy with this idea only to reveal that none of them are NPCs (or maybe they'll have to deal with NPC versions of eachother and have to figure who's who)

Also I think Jax is going to break their world and it's not going to be easy or even impossible to fix
