Had to pick the image with the lyric that matched my reaction to reaching this credits and hearing this fucking song again...

I don’t associate this song just with the Takuto/Wako/Sugata OT3, though that’s clearly the theme of the ending sequence. For me, this song embodies Southern Cross Island, the setting of this story. On a hypothetical list of “fictional settings I wish I could live”, Southern Cross Island would be way, way, way, way, way, way, WAY up there. The atmosphere of this place is just so bright, warm, inviting and pleasing. There are good homes here, a respectable high school, a big cruise ship docked at the harbor, a sense of community, towns and beaches and foresty areas and mountains and just so much fun. And as we see our Power Trio having such fun as they spend their days on the island, this song, titled “Crossover”, gives off the most comforting vibe. This vibrant and lively yet somehow soothing anthem that gives me reassurance that everything on this island is going to be alright, and that is going to last. That no matter what the scary evil painter man on the island tries to do, the hearts and souls of those who cherish this place and what it means to them, their lives, and their special connections they’ve forged, will always unite to protect the peace, beauty, and wonder of their home. And it is just the most wonderous feeling. That is what this ED song does for me.
