Have we as a community considered dragon Zedaph?

He does have a human form and a more dragony form but this already took 3 1/2 hours in this unpolished state. I can't do more I'm sorry.

His 'fully human' form looks like a weird furless sheep hybrid (which is what most people assume him to be first impressions wise)

I just. This guy has been living in caves since season five and collecting hoards of various kinds (especially season 9), creating and voicing scenarios in which he gets close to hermits in all kinds of ways (like they are also, somewhat, his hoard to keep)

i genuinely think the people who insist the life series is scripted just don’t understand the difference between something scripted and something that’s been given a basic premise and directives that everyone involved in agrees to play along with for the bit. like, no, specific moments aren’t scripted, but there’s a reason the series isn’t just “best pvper wins” and it’s because they deliberately prioritise entertainment over pure skill because the same person winning every time just wouldn’t be fun.

like, for the most part they’re a bunch of drama kids who have been given the perfect playground to act out the shakespearian tragedy of their dreams (some more so than others) (hello rendog) and they’re given the tools and situation to do so but everything else is just improv. and they’re also just having fun like i think we should all remember they’re doing this to have fun with their friends and play on a server where anything goes and they can grief all they want and sometimes they’ll just make stupid mistakes like walking off the side of a diving board and dying because they were so miffed about losing to a best tower competition they forgot where the stairs were, or blowing themselves up with their own tnt trap because they placed one block in the wrong place.

also i think people forget just how generally predictable people are in general, like after five seasons you can definitely start to guess how people will behave because they’re just like that. joel is reckless and he likes to poke the bear, martyn is good at staying alive but not good at keeping hearts (the difference between winning limlife and going out early in secret life), scott is good at the social game and a formidable opponent but also terribly self sacrificial, bdubs will betray anyone he’s allied with if offered something good, etc etc etc

Redrew a drawing of @lunarcrown 's ranchers designs. Was curious to see how different these piece would turn out from the old one, which is a year and half old now. Can say I'm much happier with the spot my art is at now.

I DID IT! I turned the rancher duo drawing into a comic for an au! Here it is. Tango and the Canary Plush (Plush Jimmy)

Not the best but I just wanted to complete one comic without giving up 😭 I’m not the biggest fan of rancher duo (sorry to the rancher fans) so idk if I’ll continue it or not. We’ll see.

Tango: Yeah. You can turn netherrack into... netherrack. If you- If you use the mansory bench, you can turn netherrack into netherrack, so. Keep that in mind. There's always that option.

Do they ever give Jimmy anything to help with the pain,pain can cause someone to be unable to move after all or to be not able to speak after all, and you can't exactly be productive if you're in so much pain you're unable to move , it doesn't even have to be that to make him become extremely defiant (a 4 to a 6 in the pain scale can make it hard to concentrate and can make you aggressive, 7-9 is genuinely disabling and can prevent you from doing normal activities or doing most things,10 genuinely stops you from even trying to move)

It depends on the case. Most of the time he's not given painkillers for things like scraps and bruises. Feathers will grow back too, so the Watchers don't bother to help him preen. The main problem Jimmy has is broken bones. He's very brittle, his bones are easy to break since Avian bones are hollow.

When he comes back to the lab he always gets an X-ray. If the Watchers find a broken bone, they will take him back to one of the operating tables they have in a back room. If it's not serious, they'll just splint the bone.

But many times the bone is broken into several pieces, so Jimmy is stretched out on the table and clamped down so he stays still. The first several times he would kick and scream and bite, but now he just cries and shakes and lets them. The operating area is numbed, but Jimmy stays awake as they cut open his skin and reset the fragments of his bones. Then they wrap him back up, and tell him to remind them when the numbing wears off. They promise to give him more. They rarely do.

Because Jimmy doesn't need to be productive right after injury. It's not like the Watchers will rent him out while his bones are still broken. They want to keep him safe, right there in the lab, so he can heal properly and get back to work afterwards, with no long term damage. The Watchers are playing the long game.

Jimmy will mostly sulk near Tango, trying to ignore the pain. They lay in one corner of the common area and watch the other subjects hang out. Tango's warmth is soothing sometimes.

Jimmy received a gift from Cleo soon after she was brought to the lab. She has been a carpenter, specifically a toymaker, and during one of her rentings she spent a little bit of her spare time to carve Jimmy a pair of crutches out of old tree branches. The Watchers allowed the crutches in the lab since most of the time they were used to play fetch with Ren instead of helping Jimmy to walk.

If, on the rare occasion, Jimmy does have to do something active while injured, the Watchers would give him something for the pain. But they prefer to let him rest until he's completely healed before they give him anything else to do
