haha okay so we gotta time travel back to like.... 2013 for this one. total drama all stars had recently wrapped up, the total drama fandom hated it, and everyone was debating whether mike was an ableist representation of DID or not. like, writing-letters-to-fresh-tv levels of intense. i took it way too seriously, i regret it, i'm sure most of my then-peers do as well.

enter a blogger named tasha-loves-duncney. she defends mike and makes fun of sjws, calls them bitches, reblogs personal/vent posts to insult the OP, is basically a troll through-and-through. it escalated to her making blatantly fake asks from popular TD tumblr users, running targeted hate blogs with names like "kill the td populars," editing people's selfies... again, running the whole mean girl gamut. she became so iconic that people started making troll blogs imitating her. she got in trouble for harassing someone and threatening to reveal their personal info, only for it to turn out to be a sideblog of hers. probably her most iconic moment was when someone told her to "fly away" after she commented on their post and she freaked out claiming it was insulting as she was bullied for looking like a bird in high school. this was after she had called everyone bitches and sent death threats.

eventually after a year she came back as a user named "tashalovesnirvana" and picked fights with the same tumblr users again. this resulted in the iconic "i'm a jaded teenage girl" copypasta. (winnerchallenged was a popular TD user at the time and tasha had very frequently harassed him specifically.) this blew up and she became famous without anybody knowing her total drama fandom roots. at some point i guess she got into a feud with someone named whitegirlsaintshit and copied her url and shit and that's how she went out.

in short, she's a grade-A troll from an era when we didn't know better than to feed them, and the jury is still out on whether she was even a teenage girl at all, though she definitely seemed jaded.

donald would probably be a bit annoyed, bc it means chase would be less focused on missions and stuff. he’d probably feel a little better about lit!reader, but overall he’s a lil annoyed about it. but he wouldn’t forbid yall from dating

and douglas does NOT give a fuck😭 he’d be like “k cool, anyways i gotta work on this bomb” or whatever tf he’s trying to build

A: dooley! I love his relationships with bree and chase, as well as him and kaz being besties. i think he would add enough sunshine to the team too, because the more sunshine-y characters already on the team are somewhat edgy. he absolutely would be traumatized by sharing a home with people who kiss his big siblings on the mouth though lol

A: i love the ship outside of my universe and totally get the appeal :D however brylar is more important to my rewrite and it's too weird because horace adopted skylar and douglas is bree's biological dad

A: yes and no. it's complicated lol. daniel is biologically their brother, but they view him as a cousin and he does the same. it's like that with marcus too (if marcus wasn't evil) daniel calls tasha aunt and douglas dad, while the rats call tasha mom and douglas douglas lmao

essentially when building their family tree they go less by genetics and more by emotional connection, which is why leo is referred to as their brother and daniel isn't (which he's fine with) they used to view donald as their dad and douglas as their uncle, but the line blurred after aijaf so douglas has a weird mix of the roles now (he felt more paternal than uncle affection for them, naomi and leo included, way before but didn't want to step on the kids' toes)

Q: were Kaz nd Skylar pranking Logan

A: oh yes. they embellished adam's overprotectiveness very intentionally for their entertainment (I assume you're asking about the scene where they talk about adam threatening them)

how am i supposed to react to that ?

internally, natasha flinches as if he'd slapped her. externally, she stops mid-chew to look at him with furrowed brows. sam has always been the more understanding one, the one who comforts her with an absentminded thumb grazing over her knuckles and looks at her with soft hazel eyes. needless to say, his tone and words are uncharacteristic. natasha takes a sip of coffee before leaning back in the booth, eyeing @safetypinned "i don't know, maybe like someone who cares?"

she'd been telling him about the almost botched job she'd done a few weeks ago hoping it would soften him up to the real question: joining whatever hunt he was working with dean. but it seemed like sam couldn't give two shits and that in itself was worrisome. (she already knew they were working with their grandfather who was all about 'family', which would make joining them a challenge, according to crowley) the voice in her head laughs. it grates at natasha's every nerve but it also causes her to quickly finish her breakfast; food isn't exactly a top priority for the bitch currently taking up residence in her.

"look, i don't know if you and dean are fighting again but do not take it out on me. i'm only interested in joining whatever case you're working." she plucks a slice of toast off sam's plate, eating it in a handful of bites. "i could use the distraction." she adds, taking healthy swing of coffee a moment later but before she can wave their waitress down for another order of hashbrowns, she's being locked away again.

lips are licked and it leans back into the booth. "feels like forever since the three of us have worked together. have you missed it? i know i have." the demon twirls a strand of light honey blonde hair as it eyes the hunter. the woman screams and curses into the void that is her mind but all the demon does is smile.

Zero related to jjk but „the poppy war“ is my latest obsession and I have so many thoughts about this trilogy. Literally went through all emotions a human being is capable of. My life feels empty after finishing the books.

Oh, I've read these. Quite genuinely threw the second book across the room at one point, raged, made myself a cup of tea, and came back to finish it 😂😂💀 It was near the end. I'm sure you can guess when I did this.

Mr Haitch and I recommend the Daevabad Trilogy by S.A.Chakraborty, Empire of Sand by Tasha Suri, and The Watchmaker of Filigree Street (and its sequel) by Natasha Pulley.

We also felt this way after finishing The Poppy War trilogy 💀💕
